In the video, Tate could be seen dancing a high octane routine.
Flipping her hair backwards and forwards, the superstar rocked out on stage in some very tiny shorts.
Dancing around, Tate then moved her microphone up to her mouth.
Holding the microphone the wrong way up, Tate crooned into the bottom of the handle of the mic.
Tate quickly realised as her backing track played, and turned the mic so it was the right way up.
Ever the professional, the hitmaker then continued with her performance.
Fans have since reacted to the awkward on-stage blunder.
One person penned: “I don’t listen to Tate McRae but she literally started singing when she flipped the mic around, she’s singing over a track.”
Another said: “When she flips the mic around, you can hear her voice. It’s just that a backing track is there. Not lipsyncing.”
A third person added: “As someone who saw her recently in concert, she lip syncs like 80% of the concert because she’s more focused on dancing and theatrics and doesn’t try to hide it.
“The only time she actually sings is when she’s stationary for small periods but there’s always a backtrack no matter.”
While a fourth wrote: “I went to a show. There IS a lot of backing tracks since she dances so much, but she definitely sings live a ton as well. And you can tell when she does.”
And a fifth said: “That’s called a backing track you can clearly hear her singing.”
Tate is known for her hits such a Greedy, You Broke Me First, Sports Car and Revolving Door.
Helen Flanagan was left humiliated after she struggled to remember the name of a TV legend while appearing on an episode of the celebrity version of The Weakest Link
Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan’s memory was put to the test while appearing on the celebrity version of The Weakest Link. When asked by host Romesh Ranganathan to name which month shared the surname of a Top Gear host, the former soap star, 35, took an awkwardly long pause while figuring out the answer.
And this left the other contestants, including rapper Konan from Krept and Konan, in utter disbelief. This came after she was shown a picture of James May, who co-hosted the hit motoring show for many years, alongside Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond.
When the image was revealed, Romesh asked the now turned reality TV star: “Look at your screen, this TV presenter shares his surname with which month of the year?”
Taking an awkwardly long pause she then answered the question after a reported 20 seconds. But she gave a correct answer, to which the mum of three yelped “yes”, in response to being told the good news.
Speaking about the show, former Coronation Street actress Julie Hesmondhalgh, who does the voiceover said : “Helen took so long to get the month question that I had enough time to make a cup of tea and go to the shop for biscuits – but she did getit right in the end.”
After receiving the most amount of votes, Helen said: “Wow – that is so bad, I am so shocked. I got the main question right.” And comedian Tim Vine added: “The thing that made me do it was just before a correct answer when you waited for, I think, six minutes. It was quite a long time.”
In an attempt to redeem herself, Helen hit back saying: “But did I get that answer right?” Biting back Tim answered: “Yes, but the clock was going down.” Doing his best to keep the peace, host Romesh chimed in saying: “If it makes you feel any better she seems pretty chilled about it.”
But this is not the first time Helen has appeared on the show as she attempted to excel last year. The mum of three has been off our screens for many years since playing Rosie in the popular ITV soap.
During her previous stint, Romesh asked her: “In geology, the White Cliffs of Dover are principally formed of what substance, chalk or cheese?”
But, assumingly without thinking, she answered “cheese,” which undoubtedly left her fellow contestants bowing their heads. And it also caused a stir on social media.
Away from the spotlight, it looks as though Helen is keen to get her love life back n track. In an interview with the Mirror, she admitted: “I’m open to dating, but I’m just so, so busy with the kids. “
She added: “When you’re 19 you can go out in Manchester and come home with a boyfriend a few days later, but I’m 35 now, I’m not really going to go on a night out am I, really?”

The 28-year-old Rhode Beauty founder told WSJ Magazine she “doesn’t feel competitive with people she’s not inspired by”.
On Saturday, Selena, 33, spoke out, penning a post on her Instagram before quickly deleting it.
“She can say what she wants, it doesn’t affect my life whatsoever,” she snapped.
Just hours after Selena’s post, the two women appeared at the 2025 Academy Museum Gala in LA.
“I didn’t ask for that. When people want to see you a certain way and they’ve made up a story about you in their minds, it’s not up to you to change that.”
“I was just matching the tops. Do you know what I mean?” Galton attempted to clarify, to which James retorted: “Well, it’s going well so far.”
“Shut up. Let me concentrate,” Galton told him, continuing to spoon out the mixture.
Both James and Galton chuckled at their banter as they completed the dish, featuring golden pastry, succulent scallops, butter sauce and crispy lardons.
After finishing the dish, Galton confessed: “I’m delighted, that’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
Their friendly ribbing continued throughout the programme, with Galton later quipping: “I was going to say you lost a bit of weight and then you turned to the side.”
James responded with a cheeky quip: “This is the last time we’re seeing Galton, but anyway.”
He proceeded to wrap up the programme, telling audiences: “That’s all we’ve got time for today before I go to the gym.” He added: “I can breathe out now.”
The programme welcomed guests including seasoned broadcaster Mariella Frostrup and culinary experts Jonathan Phang and Galton.
Mariella discussed her illustrious broadcasting journey, which included reporting on Live Aid, and reminisced about first hearing the iconic 1984 charity anthem Do They Know It’s Christmas?
Speaking about the tune, she revealed: “There was something about that record. Hearing Bono’s voice. It still gives me goosebumps. It just felt like an incredible song.”

Craig Revel Horwood nearly slipped and fell on Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing as he attempted his favourite routine and fans at home flooded social media with their reaction
Craig Revel Horwood nearly slipped and fell on Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing. The professional dancer, 60, was back in his seat on the judging panel alongside Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke where he had spent much of the evening dishing out his typically-acerbic critique to celebrities like Thomas Skinner, Vicky Pattison and Ross King.
Just before Balvinder Sopal, who is known to fans of BBC soap EastEnders for playing Suki Panesar on the long-running programme, took to the stage, Craig leapt out of his seat once it became apparent that his ‘favourite’ routine was about to be performed. The TV star is a huge fan of the Charletson, and excitedly skipped around in front of the cameras.
Tess Daly was just about to introduce Balvinder to the stage, and laughed as Craig excitedly performed a few seconds of the famous routine. But the move didn’t necessarily go down too well with viewers at home as they noticed straight away that he almost lost his footing.
One fan wrote on X: “Craig being iconic but also nearly slipping there,” whilst another said: “Craig nearly slipping lmfaoooo” A third simply asked: “What the hell was that Craig?” whilst a fourth said: “Thought i was about to watch Craig faceplant onto the floor there for a sec.” Another added: “What was that all about with Craig? Really cringe & annoying, get back in your box mate!”
Balvinder then took to the stage alongside her professional partner Julian Caillon to perform the dance, all set to Been Like This by Meghan Trainor. They received a score of 30, made up of two sevens and two eights.
But Craig’s dancing moment wasn’t the only thing fans issued a complaint over during the second live show of this year’s series. As soon as the programme began, viewers took issue with the fact that presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly do not get their own introduction, even though the judges do.
One wrote: “Okay…..no intros for Tess and Claudia” and another said: “So Tess and Claudia don’t get introduced anymore” In agreement, a third viewer said: “I hate the way Tess and Claudia don’t get an intro now but the judges do!”
It was Amber Davies‘ night in the end, though, as the former Love Island winner and musical theatre star topped the leaderboard with a score of 56, when combining her scores from this week and the first week of the show.
To make things extra special for the West End actress, she celebrated her 29th birthday on Saturday and was surprised with a cake that came with a picture of her and her professional partner Kai Widdrington printed onto it. Just hours before the show, he surprised her with a large bouquet of flowers along with a Happy Birthday balloon.
The moment was captured on video, and Amber, who will star as Elle Woods in next year’s UK tour of Legally Blonde: The Musical, captioned the Instagram post saying: “Little me would never believe I would be celebrating my last birthday in my twenties on the Strictly ballroom dancefloor.”
She added: “Golden star for the most fab pro partner ever @nikita__kuzmin !!! He remembered guys best birthday EVER !!!! @bbcstrictly (he did infact say happy 40th birthday whilst handing me this gift..) Thank you so much for all the birthday love, time to celebrate with a SAMBAAAAA.”
And friends and family wasted no time in sending their best wishes to Amber. One person wrote: “Happy birthday beautiful!!! What a special day it’s going to be! The last year of your twenties is going to be the best
Meanwhile, It Takes Two’s roving reporter and former Strictly finalist Tasha Ghouri wrote: “Happy birthday lovely!! ” And Sue Davies, Amber’s mother, penned: “A very special birthday my girl love you so much .”
Lewis Capaldi left the audience and Taylor Swift in fits of laughter after actress Jodie Turner-Smith pointed out that he was wearing the same outfit from Glastonbury while on Graham Norton show
Lewis Capaldi is forced to justify his choice to wear the same outfit on The Graham Norton Show as he had in Glastonbury(Image: PA)
Singer Lewis Capaldi left everyone in fits of giggles including Taylor Swift, during his appearance on The Graham Norton Show after his outfit blunder was made public. The hitmaker, 28, was on the show to speak about his return to the limelight after taking a much needed break.
A picture of him returning to the stage at Glastonbury this year was shown to the audience. And it was at this point actress Jodie Turner-Smith noticed that he was wearing the exact same outfit on the BBC show, as he was at Glastonbury.
This sparked a roar of laughter among audience and the stars on the same sofa, including Taylor Swift, who was promoting her latest album The Life of a Showgirl.
Jodie turned to Lewis and said: “You’ve got the same outfit on.” In response, clearly feeling embarrassed, he said: “You’ve very graciously pointed out that I’m wearing the exact same f****** thing.” The star added: “If it looks okay, let’s wear it again.”‘ The moment left the audience and guests, including Taylor Swift, in fits of laughter.
Lewis had taken a 734 day sabbatical in order to deal with his mental health after he had been unable to continue his Glastonbury set back in 2023.
Crediting the support by online therapy group BetterHelp, Lewis continued: “There’s a lot of mentally ill people out there, Graham, and they need my help. Therapy’s been a big thing for me in getting back to this position and getting back to a place where I can feel comfortable enough to come and do this stuff.”
Lewis was promoting his latest EP titled Survive which will be released later this year. Last month, the star took to social media and posted a heartfelt message which he shared with fans.
Returning to the stage for the first time in two years he wrote: “What a night! First weekend back on tour after two years away. Thank you all for making it so incredible. So good to be back.”
He added: “Thank you so much for still being here. I’m genuinely humbled that this is still a possibility for me. It means the world. This is generally quite overwhelming. First headline show since 2023, thank you all for making it so special Sheffield.”
One track that Lewis seems particularly proud of is The Day That I Died.
He told fans: “This is probably the most personal song I’ve ever written. And I know people say this all of the time. This was a song that I wrote at a time when I didn’t know if I would be around. It’s the saddest I have ever been. Honestly, it’s nice to be back, but over these past few years things were difficult. This song is about the most difficult time.”
After suffering form anxiety while on the Glastonbury stage, Lewis penned: “Hello everyone. First of all, thank you to Glastonbury for having me, for singing along when I needed it and for all the amazing messages afterwards. It really does mean the world.”
He added: “The fact that this probably won’t come as a surprise doesn’t make it any easier to write, but I’m very sorry to let you know I’m going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future.”
He then concluded: “I’m so incredibly sorry to everyone who had planned to come to a show before the end of the year but I need to feel well to perform at the standard you all deserve. Playing for you every night is all I’ve ever dreamed of so this has been the most difficult decision of my life. I’ll be back as soon as I possibly can. All my love, always, Lewis x.”
It costs from £30 a night, is right in the heart of London, but there’s a catch – you can only just about sit up in bed
The largest “capsule” hotel in the world has opened – just not for claustrophobics.
Slap bang in the heart of London, it is packed with nearly 1,000 pods. While it boasts about being the biggest of its kind anywhere, its rates are anything but – a snip at just £30 upwards. Compare that to the swanky Ritz Hotel, a short walk away, where rooms can set you back £1,100.
The Mirror spent the night to find out just what it is like sleeping in what, as it turned out, felt little bigger than an over-sized box – with absolutely no daylight.
Capsules hotels are nothing new: the first opened in Japan in 1979 in the city of Osaka. Other pint-sized versions have opened in the UK, but none on this scale.
The Zedwell Capsule Hotel is just moments from London’s bustling Piccadilly Circus – if you can find it. Arriving in the early evening, there was no obvious sign of the entrance. Nearby is Zedwell’s sister hotel – with bigger rooms – but it was soon clear I wasn’t the only one willing to give the capsule experience a go, with the concierge pointing a small group of all us in the right dirtection. And not backpackers willing to slum it – all were business folk.
Having eventually found the small door beneath some scaffolding and checked-in, it was up to my capsule.
If staying in a cramped capsule wasn’t off putting enough, the designers have decided to paint virtually everything else dark grey. Even the windows outside the lift were painted grey, and didn’t open. It added to the dystopian feel – like something out of movie Bladerunner.
Guests sleep in dormitories – it reminded me of a storage unit corridor – ranging in size from eight to 100 capsules, with female only options available. The capsules are stacked two high. Mine was up a few stairs, with four others, all facing each other. No doors here. Instead, getting in means rolling up an office cabinet-like shutter.
Inside there is a mattress…and not much space for anything else. Each capsule is 220cm long, just 100cm wide, and a disconcertingly low 100cm in height – just enough to sit up in. That said, it had a socket, light, mirror, and an overhead fan – described as a “smart climate control” system but which appeared to be a simple fan that failed to keep things cool.
No en-suite facilities here: you wander down the corridor to a shared toilet and showers, which are good and plentiful. I made the schoolboy error of not taking my room card – twice – which proved a tad awkward.
And so to bed. I’ve never had a big issue with small spaces but, pulling the shutter down, and switching off the light, brought on the collywobbles. If you are in anyway claustrophobic, think twice.
I have to confess opening the shutter a little to see some corridor light, even if that did mean facing my neighbour’s entrance, right there. Talking of neighbours, who you are staying cheek by jowl with, there is real risk you find out knowing a little too much about their sleeping habits, just a few centimetres away. The capsules are said to have “noise reduction” and, while I could hear whoever was next door moving around, it was worked well in the main.
They also boast Hypnos mattresses and Egyptian cotton bedding, which more than did the job, and helped make for a good night’s sleep. But waking up in the morning, in pitch darkness despite the time, I was overcome with the urge to break out of my box and see the daylight. Emerging into the sunshine made me appreciate it a whole lot more.
Judging by how busy it was, the super-sized capsule concept may well capture the imagination. And for the price, it is a bargain. But staying in what must surely be among the smallest hotel rooms in Britain definitely won’t be to everyone’s taste.
One Married At First Sight couple was forced to get creative after a class 3 cyclone hit the area they were staying at for their honeymoon
Married At First Sight UK newlyweds Bailey and Rebecca were forced to get creative after a class 3 cyclone left them stuck in their hotel rooms during their honeymoon. When Rebecca walked down the aisle, she was initially unimpressed with Bailey as she revealed she was looking for an ‘alpha male’.
“I’m not sure if he’s alpha or not. He’s not my type,” the 32-year-old said in a confessional. However, Bailey has seemingly won her over with his romantic gestures during their honeymoon trip after he organised a sweet date when the hotel restaurants shut down due to a cyclone.
In a first look clip shared with The Mirror, Bailey is seen throwing rose petals onto the bed while Rebecca finished getting ready in the bathroom.
“Because of the cyclone, the restaurants are all closed in the hotel tonight so Bailey has told me to get dressed up and he’s going to sort it,” Rebecca said in a voiceover.
Bailey placed a plate of food in the middle of the bed, lit a few candles and poured them two glasses of rosé wine. When she emerged from the bathroom, an impressed Rebecca told him: “Wow, this is so nice.”
“It’s so nice to see him being really romantic and gentle and go to loads of effort for the date,” she told the cameras.
“Is this what you do for all your first dates?” she asked her new husband after they took a sip of wine. He cheekily answered: “No, only for you.”
Before their wedding ceremony, Rebecca discussed her ideal partner, stating: “I’m attracted to the alpha male. I’m attracted to the big man that can lead me by the hand.”
She added: “My standards are very high, I like to be in order and I like things to look nice. I won’t settle for anything less than perfection in my life and I feel the same about my relationships.”
Rebecca explained: “I’m attracted to the alpha male. Somebody tall, confident and who’s sure of themselves,” before adding she hoped an “alpha male” would be waiting for her at the altar.
“I’m picturing a man who’s got stature about him, I want him to be a dominant figure. I’ve walked away from something before because I didn’t want to settle. If they don’t tick enough boxes for me straight away, I will say how I feel,” she said.
However, when she finally met her new husband, the contestant admitted: “Alarm bells are going off in my head. He’s not my type.”
Strictly Come Dancing 2025 fans were quick to notice Dani Dyer was still in the opening titles for the BBC series’ launch show on Saturday, but Amber Davies was missing

Fans called it “awkward” as Strictly Come Dancing‘s opening titles left out one star, hours after they replaced Dani Dyer.
Following the sad news this week that Love Island‘s Dani had to pull out of the series due to an injury, the star still appeared in the series’ opening credits. But someone noticeably missing was her replacement, fellow Love Island star Amber Davies.
Amber was confirmed to be taking on the show just days before the live launch, but fans noticed she did not appear with her co-stars in the titles – while she was there for the live show. Taking to X, fans shared their reaction to the “awkward” mishap.
One fan said: “Dani Dyer still on the opening credits and no Amber Davies… slightly awkward.” Another agreed: “Okay so they didn’t have time to put Amber in the titles yet.”
A third fan said: “Didn’t manage to edit the titles in time!” Another said: “Dani Dyer in the titles still.”
It comes after the news Dani had to pull out of the show days before the first live episode. She shared a sweet message for her Strictly co-stars ahead of Saturday’s episode after being forced to leave the show earlier this week due to an injury.
It was announced on Tuesday that the 29-year-old would no longer be able to compete on the show after a fall during rehearsals led to her fracturing her ankle. However, despite not being able to take part, Dani has sent a message of support to her co-stars.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the mum-of-three wrote: “Good luck to all the gorgeous cast starting there Strictly journey tonight. Can’t wait to watch you all, so proud & know how hard you’ve all been working.. see you all soon.”
The official Strictly Come Dancing Instagram page revealed the sad news of Dani’s exit as they captioned it: “Unfortunately due to an injury Dani Dyer is no longer able to compete in #Strictly 2025. She’ll be sorely missed and we wish her a speedy recovery.”
Dani said: “I had a fall on Friday in rehearsals and landed funny. I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up so badly over the weekend and after an MRI scan yesterday, it turns out I have fractured my ankle.
“Apparently doing the Quickstep on a fracture is not advisable and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance, so I’ve had to pull out of the show.
“To say I’m heartbroken is the biggest understatement. I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on.”
But The Sun can reveal the real reason Pete was forced to skip the party.
A spokesman for Pete confirmed: “Pete had to travel up north to film for his TV series.
“He goes weekly and has been for months. There is a Dogs Trust Centre there and he was staying overnight on Monday to film all day today.”
Pete presents the Dogs Trust documentary For Dogs’ Sake which airs on channel U&W.
Former Towie star Pete has opened up about going “off radar” during the trip, which Olivia has described as “feral”.
Speaking on their Sunday Roast Reheated podcast, he said: “Do you know what I think it’s to do with?
“Obviously we were out there working for a couple of days and then we had a couple of days off.
“It was… the people we were with made it such an amazing trip but also, we don’t get a lot of time off, and it was nice to go off radar a little bit and just be present in the moment with the people we were with.”
He added: “Every day was just f****** great.”
Watch as Pete Wicks gushes about going ‘off radar’ with Olivia Attwood on THAT cosy Ibiza trip
Pete quipped: “This podcast isn’t long enough to go through them all.”
Olivia continued: “I’m not going to lie, it was very feral. There’s a lot that happened that we can’t even discuss on this podcast.”
Confessing their holiday was so wild that she ran out of clothes and was forced to buy a dress from a local store for their final night, Olivia added: “I went with six hats and I returned with one.”
Love Is Blind fans were quick to pick up on awkward scenes when Kal met Sarover’s family(Image: Netflix)
*Warning: Contains spoilers for Love Is Blind UK Season 2*
Love Is Blind UK fans admitted the “can’t watch” after an awkward scene played out between one couple.
The popular dating show returned to screens earlier this month, with five new couples throwing themselves into the experiment and getting engaged. However, the biggest test for the pairs came this week when they moved in together to plan their upcoming nuptials.
With that, also came meeting one another’s friends and family. But for one couple, this did not go down as well as hoped.
Kal and Sarover quickly became a favourite amongst fans(Image: Netflix)
Kal and Sarover immediately hit it off in the dating pods, but their differing backgrounds meant potential trouble for the two. Sarover grew up in a modern Indian family and has never had a serious relationship or dated outside of her ethnic background before.
For Kal, his dad is Pakistani and his mother is English and he is part of a large, close-knit family. But fans have been rooting for the pair as they quickly became firm favourites amongst viewers.
Worried about meeting Sarover’s parents, Kal admitted it was “unsettling” as he said he doesn’t “know which way it’s going to go”. Sitting down with Sarover’s mum and sister, he said: “I know you’re a bit sceptical about me because obviously we’ve never met.”
When asked what was unique and different about Sarover, Kal replied: “Erm, a couple of things to be honest”, before Sarover’s mum asked: “That would be good to hear.”
He went on to say: “So, I’ve never dated a southern girl before, I’m gunna be honest I like the posh Southern accent. Something new and exciting for me, and then, so yeah.” After an awkward silence, he added: “We’re both obviously into fitness.”
When asked if he was 100% ready for marriage and the commitment, Kal replied: “I want to settle down, I want kids, family, all that. Hopefully with this beautiful lady who’s your daughter.
Differing backgrounds could cause potential troubles for Sarover and Kal(Image: Netflix)
“Good work by the way, and yeah, I just I don’t know, just can’t wait for the wedding now, I’m a lucky guy.” He later added: “The universe does work in mysterious ways sometimes.”
And fans were quick to pick up on the awkward scenes. Taking to X, one fan wrote: “Omg Kal messed that up so badly in front of her family I am screaming?! I have secondhand embarrassment I can’t watch this.”
Another said: “Kal saying random stuff in front of Sarover’s mother was awkward. I bought Indian clothes”, alongside a laughing emoji. A third added: “That meeting was so awkward.” A fourth penned: “Kal can’t even say what he likes about Sarover but is shocked her mum might oppose him… okay.”
One viewer commented: “Nah I can’t believe Kal has come to tell Sarover’s family rubbish. This is deeply embarrassing for her.” Branding it a “tough watch” one fan said: “As much as I’m rooting for Kal & Sarover, that *first* scene of him meeting her family was a tough watch…”
Will Kal and Sarover have their happy ending? Viewers will have to wait until August 27 to find out, when the final two episodes are released.
ITV bosses have reportedly offered boxing champ David Haye a spot on the next season of I’m A Celeb’s All Stars spin off – with one major topic expected to be discussed around the campfire
David Haye is expected to return to I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!(Image: ITV)
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is planning to add boxing champ David Haye to their knockout line-up of the next All Stars spin-off season. The former heavyweight champ, 44, first appeared on the long-running ITV reality show’s twelfth season back in 2012.
And he may be returning to the jungle as one of the All Star contestants for the spin-off series that sees past participants return for another round of stomach churning trials. The first season of the All Stars version, titled I’m a Celebrity… South Africa, aired in 2023 with Myleene Klass being crowned winner.
And now a string of popular former contestants are being lined up for a second trip to the outback – with David among the top names wanted to take part in the series. He came third when he participated in the series the last time behind winner Charlie Brooks, of EastEnders fame, and Pussycat Dolls runner-up Ashley Roberts.
The boxing hunk was a hit on the show back in 2012(Image: davidhaye)
Since then, David’s foray into the world of media stardom has seen him appear in shows including The Big Narstie Show and his own David Haye versus series, which saw him interview and train with major celebrities.
A source told The Sun: “David was delighted to get the call from ITV. As viewers know, no chats are off-limits around the campfire, so they can expect to see David grilled over his quirky relationships.” The Mirror has contacted representatives of David and ITV for comment.
It is expected that the new season of the ITV show will begin filming in the autumn months when a string of other former contestants will return to the wilderness to survive on basic rations. Football icon Harry Redknapp, 78, who won in 2018, and Gemma Collins, 44, who quit the show after three days in 2014, are among names linked to the new season.
A number of familiar faces are expected to jet to Australia in November to film the next season of the main I’m A Celeb series. It will be the 25th outing of the show – which first aired way back in 2002.
Gemma Collins is also tipped to return to the jungle(Image: PA)
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will travel Down Under to preside over all the terrifying trials and encourage the celebs to eat revolting meals and drinks. The 2024 season of the show was won by McFly singer Danny Jones.
But the 39-year-old singer has had a difficult few months since he was crowned the king of the jungle. He was shamed in March when video footage emerged of him locking lips with fellow I’m A Celeb 2024 contestant Maura Higgins, of Love Island fame.
The footage sparked shock among his fans – who have championed his marriage to beauty contestant Georgia Horsley – a former Miss England winner. The couple have been an item since 2009 and they have been married since 2014.
They also welcomed a son named Cooper who was born in 2018. Danny offered a groveling apology to his wife which he issued via social media soon after his extramarital kiss went viral.
In a statement, the McFly singer said: “Hello everyone, sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me. I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.
“I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.” Meanwhile, a source close to Danny revealed at the time that he was “mortified” by what happened as well as the “awful situation he has put everyone in”.
“Apologies for the slight moment of excitement for you Plymouth fans, only to find out you’re behind.”
But the blunders were not done there as The Tykes then made it 2-0.
When Adam Phillips doubled their lead, Sky Sports accidentally made a score correction on the vidiprinter to say it was still 1-0.
They were then forced to hilariously correct the correction.
Warren handled it like a pro, brilliantly saying: “I think the vidiprinter might still be on holiday, lying on a lounger with a couple of pina coladas.”
There were no errors in the second-half as Barnsley won 3-1.
BBC Breakfast viewers have been left unimpressed with presenter Sally Nugent following an interview on Monday’s show
During Monday’s BBC Breakfast, Sally Nugent questioned Darren Jones, the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, about Rachel Reeves‘ newly announced £500million fund, which is designed to support up to 200,000 vulnerable children.
Sally seized the chance to grill the MP with various queries, including questions about wealth taxation, which the politician was reluctant to address.
At one point, the BBC presenter enquired: “Will higher earners be taxed more to plug the blackhole in the government’s finances at the moment?”
Jones responded: “I’m not sure I agree with the definition of a black hole in the public finances, just to be clear. But, to answer your question on tax, I’m afraid, in the way that you probably expect me to answer, I’m not going to speculate on tax policy.”

The MP explained to the BBC host that the government follows a formal procedure for announcing tax modifications, which occurs during budget announcements with the chancellor speaking from the dispatch box in the House of Commons, reports the Express.
Nevertheless, Nugent persisted in seeking an answer from the MP, pressing: “Ok, I don’t want you to speculate, but I would like to know, what do you think of the idea of a wealth tax?”
Chuckling, Jones informed the BBC presenter that her question remained speculation about tax policy, stating: “As I’ve just set out, I’m afraid, I’m not going to do it.”
BBC Breakfast viewers were not impressed with Sally’s questions on the programme(Image: BBC)
She then probed further about the government’s plans to maintain the freeze on tax thresholds, to which he responded: “That’s also tax speculation, and as I say, any changes one way or another will be announced by the chancellor at the budget.”
Sensing the interview wasn’t going as expected, she humorously asked: “What can you tell us?!” The exchange quickly sparked reactions on social media, with many criticising Sally’s interviewing style.
One viewer sarcastically remarked on X: “Darren Jones, having none of silly Sally’s nonsense.” While someone else said: “@sallynugent as an experienced journalist, you should be aware that Darren Jones will not disclose potential (or not) tax rises. Stop wasting his & our time. Presume we will be subjected to unanswerable questions up to the Autumn budget?”

Another person commented: “Another pointless interview from Sally Nugent. There are so many questions that need to be asked of the government, so stop wasting time asking questions that cannot be answered.”
A different viewer added: “That interview was pretty irrelevant and a waste of time. Sally Nugent, not exactly pinning him to the door with laser-like questions.”
One viewer shared their frustration: “Sally’s interview with the chief sec to treasury is a failure *Asks him to speculate on future policy* “I cannot speculate on tax policy” *Rephrases question, pretending it isn’t speculative* (laughing) “I cannot speculate” Ask better questions.”

Emmanuel and his wife Brigitte have arrived in the UK ahead of tonight’s state banquet at Windsor Castle.
However, footage of the pair arriving suggests there could be tension between them according to body language expert Judi James.
After Emmanuel is safely on solid ground, he turns around to offer his arm to his wife as she descends the stairs from the plane.
Yet Brigitte refuses Emmanuel’s gesture, leaving him awkwardly holding his arm in mid-air.
The pair then begin to greet members of the Royal Family who have been awaiting their arrival.
Judi said: “Macron appeared determined to take a joyfully tactile approach to everyone he met today, with exception of his wife.
She added that Brigitte looked “less charmed by her husband’s attempts at a more tactile approach, refusing his offer of a hand to help as she stepped down from the plane”.
While Brigitte does smile at her husband once she’s by his side, the couple quickly begin greeting their hosts.
Judi said: “His greeting ritual for William was almost intimate enough to suggest he was family.
Kate & William welcome Macron for first UK state visit in 17 years – as thousands gear up for Windsor carriage ride
“He clasped William’s hand for several long seconds, using his left hand to perform a volley of add-on pats and clasps as he did so, each one suggesting close bonding and familiarity.”
After placing his hand over William’s, he then moves it to the prince’s lower arm.
This “intensified the familiarity signals” according to Judi, as Emmanuel moves his hand above William’s elbow before moving it back down to the lower arm.
Emmanuel then moves on to greet Kate, while Brigitte in turn greets William.
In a “creakingly out of date ritual” according to Judi, Emmanuel leans down to kiss the back of Kate’s hand.
Judi said: “This gesture looks gallant but it leaves the woman being kissed with little option but to giggle prettily.”
While Emmanuel leaned down to kiss Kate’s hand, Charles instead raises Brigitte’s hand to his lips, as he “gazes adoringly” Judi said.
Calling back to the rumoured Vietnam slap, Judi said: “Was this the hand she shoved her husband with back in Vietnam?
“If so, Charles was clearly busy charming it into submission.”
In a similarly familial gesture, Emmanuel went on to pat Charles’ upper arm “in a gesture of macho unity”.
The procession precedes tonight’s state banquet in which 160 guests will dine at Windsor Castle to celebrate the relationship between France and Britain.
Princess Kate and Prince William will both be in attendance for the fabulous event.

Shakira, 22, gushed over the footballer as she said: “He boils my blood. He’s hilarious, witty, charming and funny. And he’s not bad looking.
“So the boy I would like to couple up with is… Harry.”
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans went wild after spotting the move.
One joked, “Not Helena moving away from harry,” with a laughing emoji, while someone else said: “Helena moving away from Harry is just so…. #LoveIsland.”
A third chimed in with: “Shakira picked harry wow the face on helena.”
While a fourth pointed out: “how’s helena upset that harry’s moved on when she said they’re done?”
Harry, 30, was previously seen sobbing as he appeared to backtrack on his behaviour towards Helena.
The ITV2 star caused shockwaves in the villa last week when he split with his day one partner – before he attempted to pursue a third different romantic connection in the compound just hours later.

In scenes aired on last night’s Aftersun, Harry appeared to have huge regret on calling time on his connection with Helena.
A video shows him in tears as he sat with Dejon, who said if he could have it his way he would see the pair together.
Semi pro footballer Harry, with tears in his eyes, replied: “Yeah. Like, we just have nothing. Do you know what I mean?”
He then paused to dab his face and added: “Where it’s just like, we were good and then it’s just like she can’t even be around me.
“Geez. It’s just weird man.

“Like it’ll never be the same now after the way I’ve acted, do you know what I mean?”
The official Love Island account on X posted the caption: “The consequences of Harry’s antics hit home.”
Yet many thought he was having a taste of his own medicine following his lothario conduct.
One fan was quick to write: “Crying as if all of this wasn’t his own doing. Men lack accountability fr.”
A second posted: “If it isn’t the consequences of your own actions….”
A third noted: “He’s realised he’s exhausted all his options that man does not want to be with Helena,” while one agreed and put: “And tomorrow he’ll want Emily we can’t predict his next move.”
One then mused: “Some self reflection is always good.”

In tonight’s episode of Unseen Bits, now-axed Blu referred to Helena as Harriett a few times.
Seemingly getting Helena Ford confused with Harriett Blackmore from Love Island: All Stars, Blu got muddled up and kept referring to Helena as Harriett.
In a conversation with Ben and Tommy, Blu repeatedly said “Harriett” when talking about Helena.
Even in the beach hut doing in a confessional, Blu kept referring to Helena as Harriett.

In the clip where he was chatting to the boys, Blu asked what “blondie’s name” was again.
Ben and Tommy were then forced to correct him.
Blu was dumped from the villa in Friday night’s episode after on Thursday, he and Shea were left single and vulnerable when they were failed to get chosen by the girls to be in couples.
Between both of the lads, they were tasked with deciding who should stay and who should go.
But both lads were determined to stay and refused to back down.
Blu confidently said: “I ain’t f****** leaving.”

And Shea echoed: “I ain’t either.”
The Sun then revealed that the pair got into a war of words, with this seen in Friday night’s episode before the Islanders were tasked with deciding on who would be dumped from the Island.
Ultimately, Blu was dumped from the Island, despite him not agreeing with the outcome.
Taking a final jab at Shea after his exit, Blu didn’t hold back as he made a veiled dig.

SAN DIEGO — Major League Baseball does not have a mercy rule for ending games early.
On Tuesday night at Petco Park, the Dodgers could have used one.
In recent years, the club has punted on plenty of games in the interest of protecting their often injury-riddled and shorthanded pitching staffs. But in an 11-1 loss to the San Diego Padres, they took the act of de facto forfeiture to levels even they hadn’t previously pioneered.
First, they let minor league call-up Matt Sauer wear it — in every sense of the phrase — over a nine-run, 13-hit, 111-pitch outing.
Then, in the face of a nine-run deficit in the bottom of the sixth, they sent position player Kiké Hernández to the mound to pitch the rest of the game, the earliest a true position player had ever taken the mound in a contest in Dodgers franchise history.
“Very awkward,” manager Dave Roberts said. “It doesn’t feel good.”
The Dodgers’ decision to pack, even before the seventh-inning stretch, it in was rooted in logic.
They are currently operating with only four healthy starting pitchers. Their equally banged-up bullpen is leading the majors in innings, and was coming off five frames of work in an extra-inning win the night before. And by the time Hernández took the mound in the sixth, the game had long been lost, the Padres (38-28) teeing off on Sauer with three runs two-out runs in the third inning, single scores in the fourth and fifth, and a four-spot in the sixth.
“I know that my job is just eat as many as I can,” said Sauer, who entered the game as a bulk man in the second inning after opener Lou Trivino tossed a scoreless first. “Obviously, today, didn’t have as good of stuff, but I felt like I was just out there pitching my ass off, trying to compete and trying to eat as many innings as I could for the bullpen.”
On the other side, Padres ace Dylan Cease mowed down the Dodgers, giving up three hits while striking out 11 batters over seven scoreless innings.
“We had a couple chances early,” Roberts said. “But I think when the game got away, you could just see things flip.”
Thus, the Dodgers (40-28) quickly turned their attention to Wednesday’s series rubber-match, one they will have to win to maintain sole possession of first place in the National League West.
Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Teoscar Hernández were removed from the game after the top of the sixth.
And knowing Wednesday’s starter will be left-hander Justin Wrobleski, who has a 7.20 ERA in three big-league outings this year and has spent much of the campaign in triple-A, Roberts decided not to waste any of his other available relievers on the latter innings either, inserting Hernández as pitcher the moment the Padres pushed their lead past eight runs with two out in the bottom of the frame (MLB rules prevent losing teams from using position players on the mound until they face an eight-run deficit).
“You just got to look at where our ‘pen is at, and appreciating what we have the next couple days, it wasn’t smart to chase and redline guys,” Roberts said. “A guy that was available tonight, [Michael] Kopech, I’m not going to pitch him down six or 7-0 in the sixth inning, to then not have him available tomorrow. As the rules are, we abided. That’s kind of what you do to essentially move forward and win the ensuing games.”
Still, a position player taking the mound in the sixth inning to finish off a blowout loss represented an almost unprecedented use of the tactic; one that has become so popular among MLB clubs in recent years that the league had to put in the eight-run restriction for when teams can do it.
Two years ago, the Cleveland Guardians had David Fry pitch four innings at the end of a rout against the Minnesota Twins, the first time a true position player had pitched at least three innings in a game since 1988, according to USA Today.
In 2018, the Arizona Diamondbacks used two position players for the final 4 ⅔ innings of a lopsided defeat at Coors Field to the Colorado Rockies.
Hernández’s 2 ⅓ innings (in which he gave up two runs, three hits and two walks) marked the longest pitching outing by a true position player in Dodgers history.
“Again, it’s about do you want to chase? And is it worth it versus [trying] to win tomorrow?” Roberts said. “I think those are things are part of the math … The goal was to come in here to win a series, and we got a really good chance to do that tomorrow.”
Given how Tuesday went, they better hope so. Because if not, their 10-run loss will be an embarrassment without much of a reward.
Fan favourite show Ginny and Georgia has returned to Netflix for an all new series which sees more dramatic storylines than ever but not all viewers are happy with the new episodes
Fans have commented on the change(Image: Netflix)
Ginny and Georgia fans have all said the same thing about brother’s age leap in new series. The show has returned to Netflix for its third series, which viewers have waited two years for. Season three picks up just hours on from season two’s finale – but not everyone looks the same.
Many have pointed out that Ginny’s brother Austin has grown up a lot since the last season. Fans have noticed that the actor who plays Austin looks a lot older than nine-years-old which is what he is meant to be in the show.
Actor Diesel La Torraca who plays Austin is actually 14-year-old in real life so is five years older than the character he is playing. Many took to social media to point out the ridiculous age gap thanks to the huge break between filming the two series.
Austin’s character has grown up a lot over the series(Image: Netflix)
The show has not aired for two years but has picked up where it left off in season two meaning there should be no age change in the character. Taking to X, one viewer wrote: “I fear ginny and georgia is going to have to recast the little brother because this is deeply unserious.”
As a second said: “#ginnyandgeorgiaS3 know they wrong for having this 14 year old boy play his 9 year old character. They let too much time pass in between filming and it’s p***ing me off.”
“It’s so ridiculous cause austin being so young made georgia’s reckless choices hit harder. Now he looks the same age ginny’s supposed to be playing and it just doesn’t give the same effect,” a fan pointed out.
As a fourth added: “Netflix should stop taking 2+ years between seasons because wdym these two scenes are supposed to be only a few months apart? #ginnyandgeorgia.”
The show is in its third season(Image: Netflix)
Diesel took to his own TikTok page back in May and shared a video of himself which he captioned: “My tryna convince people that Austin is still 9.” The Australian-American actor has acted in several roles already despite just being in his teens which include in The Secrets She Keeps, Lambs of God, La Brea and Little Monsters.
Actress Antonia Gentry who plays the main character of Ginny commented on how quickly the actor who plays her little brother has grown up.
When season 3 filming began in 2024 she shared a side-by-side photo of herself and Diesel after filming season 1 compared with now which showed how much he had grown.
He was originally much shorter than the actress and now he towers above her. Ginny and Georgia first arrived on Netflix back in 2021 and quickly became a fan-loves show.
It is now in its third series and has got even more dramatic than before. Series two left off with a murder which mum-of-two Georgia is now being accused of, despite it actually being her son who committed the crime.
