With a sixth year of basketball eligibility at UC Irvine, former St. Francis High guard Andre Henry has become so familiar with coach Russell Turner that both consider each other family.
Henry, who was injured last season after nine games, is back healthy, and Turner thinks he’s ready to be a standout on offense and defense this season.
He calls Henry one of the finest recruits he ever signed out of St. Francis in 2020. In 2023-24, he was the Big West Conference defensive player of the year.
“Andre was probably the top-ranked recruit we ever got,” said Turner, in his 16th season. “I watched him elevate his team at St. Francis and he’s still that type of personality. I’m thrilled where is right now and he’s going to have a great season on both sides of the ball. There’s not a limit he can accomplish.”

UC Irvine men’s basketball coach talks about how Andre Henry has become a standout on the court for the Anteaters.
Turner said he’s grateful for Henry’s loyalty and commitment to the UC Irvine basketball program.
“Andre has become family with me and my staff,” he said. “He’s made great sacrifices to remain in our program. I think he sees we’re committed to him and I certainly see how committed he and his family have been to us. Hopefully, we can write the end to a great story in his sixth year.”

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has agreed a loan move to Turkish side Trabzonspor.
The move has yet to be finalised but sources close to the player anticipate it being done in time for him to make his debut against Fenerbahce on Sunday 14 September.
Turkey’s transfer window is open until Friday, leaving time to get a deal completed for Onana, who is on international duty with Cameroon.
Onana had been linked with another Turkish club, Galatasaray, but they opted to sign Ugurcan Cakir.
Cakir, who started Turkey’s World Cup qualifying win over Georgia on Thursday, joined from Trabzonspor on 2 September in a deal that could eventually be worth 36m euros (£31.2m).
Trabzonspor have been assessing alternatives since that deal was completed and club sources believe Onana could have a major impact.
Although Old Trafford officials stressed the club were willing to have a senior squad including four goalkeepers, that was at odds with head coach Ruben Amorim’s stated desire to have a smaller squad in the absence of European football.
Tom Heaton is the fourth senior goalkeeper in the United ranks.

The singer, who refused to speak directly about Katie for ‘legal reasons’, told The Telegraph: “’Well, look, nobody’s perfect. No-one’s perfect in this world. Everyone makes mistakes. But you get the measure of me by meeting me.
“You’ll either think I’m too talkative and annoying, or you’ll think, “he’s alright, he’s harmless.”
He added: “But over a period of time you build a picture of someone, it’s about consistency.”
His comments come just a few weeks after he publicly spoke out about his ex wife for the first time in 16 years.
Pete and Katie have been devoted parents to kids Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, since their split in 2009 but the former glamour model has taken every opportunity to slam her ex.
In her podcast, she claimed she had been frozen out of her daughter Princess‘s blossoming career, which includes glam photoshoots, brand deals, and a new ITV reality show titled The Princess Diaries.
Revealing plans to take legal action, Peter said: “Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations that I have yet to address. Those will be dealt with in the coming months.”

Katie was not allowed to participate on the show, which she admitted her annoyance about on her podcast, The Katie Price Show.
Shortly afterwards, Peter broke his 16-year silence to speak out against his ex-wife, making public for the first time that the kids were court ordered to live with him since 2019.
And now, after 10 days that have “been a lot” for the star, she has spoken out about her mental health.
Katie has shared how her PTSD has been “triggered”, as well as her anxiety.
Getting candid in a new Instagram post she shared on Thursday night, Katie uploaded a video and caption.
In the video she explained how she was at the horses which she calls her “safe place” because of how relaxing she finds it.
She added how her mental health had been “triggered like you would not believe” over the past 10 days.
In the caption of the post, she elaborated further when she penned: “The past 10 days have been a lot, thank you to everyone who has messaged me.

“I have came to the horses for some me time as my anxiety, PTSD and mental health has been triggered a lot.”
She added how she was happy to have a visit planned to the Supreme CBD warehouse to top up on “oil and gummies” which have been “such a massive help”.
“If anyone out there is feeling similar to me right now, the anxiety, lack of sleep, PTSD then stay strong,” she added.
Reacting to her honest post, fans flocked to the comments to show their support for the former glamour model.
What is PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder)?
POST-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, is a mental health condition sparked by stressful, frightening or distressing events.
The NHS states that someone with PTSD “often relives the traumatic event through nightmares and flashbacks, and may experience feelings of isolation, irritability and guilt”.
Someone with PTSD may also have problems sleeping, “such as insomnia, and find concentrating difficult”.
The health provider states that symptoms are often “severe and persistent enough to have a significant impact on the person’s day-to-day life”.
Any stressful or frightenining event can cause PTSD with the following being some of the most common causes:
Serious road accidents
Violent personal assaults, such as sexual assault, mugging or robbery
“Everything is gonna be okay you are so loved,” said one person.
“Keep your chin up beautiful, keep working on yourself and being the best version of you that you can be and the world will shine on you,” penned a second.
A third wrote: “You have so much love and support. Keep doing what you’re doing.”
While a fourth said: “Stay positive.”
And a fifth added: “Never underestimate the pricey!”

FROM their sultry connection in the jungle to bitter legal feuds, Katie Price and Peter Andre’s fiery war of words has spanned 16 years.
And, as their recent explosive row has proved, it shows no signs of ending soon – but one person who has so far remained silent is their 20-year-old son Junior Andre.

While his 18-year-old sister Princess is currently taking centre stage with her ITVdocumentary, The Princess Diaries, Junior prefers to keep out of all drama.
According to a source, when it comes to his feuding parents, the aspiring singer is firmly on dad Peter’s side, and is “embarrassed” by former glamour model Katie.
A source told Fabulous: “Junior is on his dad’s side 100 per cent.
“He has no time for his mum as harsh as that sounds.
“She represents negativity and sadness in his life and he has been trying to move away from that and heal for a long time.
“He hates how his mum is a laughing stock and tries to disassociate himself as much as he can without starting World War 3.”
Junior’s Instagram page, where he boasts 555,000 followers, rarely features his reality star mum.
The glamour model, 47, who is currently dating Married at First Sight’s JJ Slater, 32, hardly features in any of his posts, unlike his dad, 52, and Princess, whom he regularly posts pics and videos with.
The insider added: “He posts a happy birthday message to her to keep up appearances and to not ruin her day but they don’t hang out much at all.
“As far as Junior is concerned, he’s his dad’s son.
Emotional Peter Andre reveals strict rule for Princess and Junior
“His dad has brought him up and raised him to be the man he is today – he knows he wouldn’t be anywhere today without his dad’s love and support.”
And insiders say that Emily has been “more of a conventional mum” to Junior over the years.
They added: “Junior wasn’t lacking anything and so he had no need to see Katie.”
Junior is said to have made the decision to avoid the notorious nine-bedroom Sussex pad – which has now been sold – as it was “so horrific.”
BOMBSHELL STATEMENT
The source claimed: “Junior hasn’t had much to do with his mum in recent years.
“He totally avoided visiting her at the Mucky Mansion. He didn’t want to live in squalor.
“It was constantly chaotic and the house was always full of people and this revolving door of men – and Katie’s dramas.”
After he left, they say Junior rarely went back to visit Katie and as she wasn’t welcome at Pete’s house “they didn’t see each other much” and now “he rarely visits her”, despite her moving out of the squalid home.
Junior was later joined by sister Princess, and it has been revealed the family courts issued a legally binding order for the living arrangement in 2019.
Peter then hit back at Katie’s claims, slamming her in a furious Instagram statement.
Peter wrote: “For sixteen years I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silence has been incredibly frustrating.”
He continued: “That ends today.”

This outburst is said to be out of character for Peter, who allegedly “never bad mouths Katie in front of the children”.
However, Junior, who the source claims is an “exceptionally bright young man”, has “seen it all and come to his own conclusions”.
The insider claimed that Junior was “shocked” that Peter spoke out but “doesn’t blame him”.
However, they added: “He’s really sad to see his mum and dad’s feud playing out in public again.
“Obviously he’s read a lot about it over the years – he’s old enough to read Google.”
PRIVATE LIFE
While Katie famously courts the spotlight, and his sister is doing her new documentary, the 20-year-old is said to prefer a “quiet life at home with his girlfriend”.
Junior has been dating his girlfriend Jasmine Orr, 24, since last April, with their relationship going from strength-to-strength.

The couple have now opened up about a huge step they have taken together, while talking about the possibility of getting wed.
Revealing their huge milestone to OK! Magazine in a new interview, Junior explained how he and Jasmine, who previously appeared on Celebs Go Dating in 2023, now have a place of their own.
“Yes, we’ve moved into our own little flat together,” he told the magazine.
He then detailed their one-bedroom abode in Surrey, and spoke about how they are currently decorating it.
Junior then gushed about wanting to spend “every day” with his girlfriend and said that they felt “ready” for the next step.

Growing up, Junior is said to have “hated” being featured in Katie’s photoshoots and TV shows.
The insider added: “He was just a young boy finding his way in life and wanted to focus on his hobbies and friends.
“He grew up embarrassed of his mum and it’s hard to shake that.”
Pete paid for Princess and Junior to have a private school so they have had the very best education and they are incredibly bright.
The source added: “Junior has protected his energy and spirit and Pete is very proud – and relieved – that he hasn’t turned out to be anything like his mum.”

MOVING ON
In recent months he had been impressed by Katie making changes and was looking after herself.
However, the recent feud has left Junior with a “bad taste in his mouth”, according to the source.
They claimed: “Now, he feels more sorry for her.
“He’s sad about it all.
“He wants to get on with his life and explore his own path, but he feels like his mum is constantly in the background casting negativity over everything.
“He thinks she just needs to get over it [not being with his dad] and move on now so everyone can get on with their lives in peace.”

Princess Andre has appeared to take subtle swipes at mum Katie Price after the former glamour model criticised producers of her new show, The Princess Diaries

Princess Andre has appeared to take subtle swipes at mum Katie Price as she continues to carve her own showbiz career. In her new documentary series, The Princess Diaries, the teen is showcasing her blossoming career, but the show has opted against airing Katie’s role in her daughter’s life.
Instead, dad Peter Andre is a mainstay in the production, showing his close bond with his eldest daughter. And in the latest edition, Princess, 18, has confessed to the things she will never do that her mum did.
Speaking to the cameras for the ITV show, Princess admitted she would never do glamour modelling like her mum did. The revelation came as Princess took part in a photoshoot to mark her 18th birthday.
Peter Andre,Emily Andre, Junior and Princess Andre
As she wore a number of different outfits for the shoot, including a very sheer robe, Princess looked back at her mum’s success in front of the camera. She said her shoot reminded her of her mum Katie, 47, and her campaigns over the years.
However, she admitted: “But obviously she did topless. And I would not do topless.”
She later revealed how she goes to her stepmum for advice. Princess lives with her dad and Emily Andre and their kids and added: “I feel like, if I’m ever in a situation that I don’t want to talk to dad about, I’ll speak to Ems about it.”
It comes after Princess had revealed the impact her mum’s split from Kieran Hayler had on her. Katie, 47, married Kieran, 38, in 2013 but they separated five years later after he cheated on her, including with one of her “best friends”.
After saying she didn’t feel as though she recovered from the split, Kieran has since apologised. He said: “I am as sorry as I can be to Princess witnessing us go through such a horrible separation.
“Leaving them was one of the hardest things I ever had to do.”
Despite the turmoil and apparent swipes, Princess did gush over her friendship with her mum. Addressing rumours of a rift, Princess told Closer ‘there’s no rift’.
The teenager said: “At the end of the day, it’s my show – it’s not really about any of my parents. Mum was actually featured in it, it’s just that I live with my dad. There’s no rift between anyone.”
And on the show, she revealed: “I love her, she’s like my best friend.”
Princess made her modelling debut last year with PrettyLittleThings. She has now moved into the reality TV spectrum in her own light and the influencer is set to make thousands and take after her famous parents by becoming a reality star.

Princess Andre has been praised for raising awareness of period issues through her new reality show The Princess Diaries. The starlet, 18, who is the daughter of showbiz legend Katie Price and 90s pop singer Peter Andre, appeared in the first episode of her ITV2 reality show on Sunday evening.
Princess, alongside her dad and her brother Junior, 20, was getting ready to go to a Mission Impossible premiere and she said said: “All boys need to do is scruff up their hair a bit and put a suit on. It’s not that hard!” But things took a dramatic turn when Princess candidly admitted that the appearance had come at her time of the month. as she told the cameras: “This is not good! I feel like it’s a huge pressure to look perfect at these glamorous events, there are paps there, and anything little thing that’s wrong, people point it out and there’s loads of comments about it. So that’s dodgy nails, and I’m on my period, but apart from that, I’m read carpet ready!”
It was a race against time on the way to get to the event as Princess complained about cramps and had to stop at a hotel to rush in and use their bathroom. And in a confessional, she told viewers: “She said: “This is honestly the worst nightmare. Girls, you know exactly what I’m on about. You’re wearing a nice dress, you’re going to an event or a special event and you’ve just leaked. Yeah, the panic is real.” It comes after Princess Andre says she’s ‘independent’ from parents as she breaks silence after Katie Price row.
Princess now stars in her own reality show and used her new platform to speak out about women’s issues(Image: ITV)
As the scenes unfolded, Princess managed to get out of the car and to a bathroom just in time, but admitted amid all the tension:” “This is really disastrous. What if it’s actually gone through my dress? I don’t even think I can even stand up! Oh no! Has it leaked through, dad?!”
Just before heading into the glamorous event, Princess breathed a sigh of relief and she said: “Oooh, panic over, don’t worry. I’m all good. My dress is fine.” The moment did not go unnoticed by fans, and one rushed to X to praise the budding reality star for speaking out over the issue. They wrote on the social media platform: “Hats off to Princess Andre for talking about her periods in her reality show. Her life might not be normal but she is normalising something that usually carries stigma and shame.”
During the programme, Princess featured heavily alongside her brother and fans also praised the relationship between the siblings. as one wrote: “I’m not a fan of Katie Price & Peter Andre, but they really did make the most beautiful kids in Junior & Princess”, and a a third user said: “Watching The Princess Diaries on ITV. Loving the sibling relationship between Junior and Princess.”
Katie did actually make an appearance in the first episode of the programme, but was heard only on the other end of a voice note. Princess had to asked her mother about what she was like as a child and Katie replied: “Who was the naughtiest child? Well, you was a mummy’s girl so you used to push me more and probably get away with things so I’d say you was more naughty actually. You are still very much like me but different if that makes sense, you are more sensible.
“So yeah, the answer to your question is that I think you were naughty. You naughty girl! before Princess admitted in a confessional: “Me and my mum are so close. We’re more like best friends, we’ll tell each other anything.”
Katie recently said she was “very, very upset” that Princess’ career was being managed by her ex-husband Peter Andre’s management and says she’s being left out. She also said she won’t be watching the reality show, which she isn’t a part of. The mum-of-five said she was banned from her daughter’s 18th birthday party and that her former management team – who look after Mysterious Girl singer Peter, 52, and Princess – did not want her on the show as they considered her “trash”. Speaking on her podcast, Katie claimed: “Princess was like ‘I’m having a party’. And I wasn’t invited because it was for ‘filming’.”
“But I don’t feel like I can really talk, so I just write everything down in my notes. I do wish, like, I could have had a more happier childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age.”
The first episode also saw Princess exploring ideas for her makeup business as she attempted to build a brand of her own. She told viewers in a confessional: “I am gonna take on the challenge because this is something that I really, really want so I’ve got to work, work work.”
Princess Andre shows her dad Peter the sort of messages she’s been receiving online despite her only being 18
15:01, 10 Aug 2025Updated 15:01, 10 Aug 2025
Doting dad Peter Andre has been left horrified after seeing the “disgusting” messages his daughter Princess has been receiving from men online. The 18-year-old is all set to star in her own four-part series, The Princess Diaries, which airs on ITV2 tonight and she’s joined by her dad, 52.
In the very first episode, the teenager, who is 17 at the time of filming, is joined by a pal as they discuss the vile messages she’s been receiving online from men.
Her friend is left gobsmacked by the messages as Princess tells her: “”Usually it’s like old men, going on about my toes. Sometimes they’ll be like, ‘let me take you on a date.”
Princess has a chat with her dad on the first episode of The Princess Diaries(Image: ITV)
“I do love my job and I do love social media and I do love interacting with people but there is a dark side to social media that people don’t see, and there are a lot of inappropriate messages that…yeah some of them can be horrible. “Like I’m literally 17, that’s actually not OK.”
Later on in the episode, the beauty influencer is joined by her dad and talk soon turns to the messages she’s been receiving. A shocked Peter looks up and asks her what sort of messages as she tells him it’s normally older men asking for feet pictures.
He responds: “Please God that’s the only thing they ask for,” before she gives him bad news by telling him they also ask: “Are you finally legal now?”
Peter is in disbelief and puts his hand to his face as his little girl shows him the message she had earlier shown to her friend. As he reads the message, the shocked dad-of-five says: “Oh my God Biss I didn’t think it was going to be like that.”
After placing his face in his hands again and trying to come to terms with what he had just read, the Mysterious Girl singer adds: “That really made me feel sick, like in the pit of my stomach. I hate it because you’re still my baby.”
The four-part series will see the budding star carving out a career for herself as a beauty influencer as cameras follow her every move as she steps out of the shadow of her dad and mum Katie Price.

Princess and her older brother Junior, 20, appeared on This Morning on Friday 8 August and insisted they’re trying to step outside of their famous parents and just do their own thing.
She told guest hosts Joel Dommett and Emma Willis: “I got older and a lot more things have come in for me solo. A lot of things I used to do was with my parents and now I’m doing a show that is independent and actually focused on me. Now is the right time because my life is busy right now and I want people to see it.”
She’s already inked big money deals with huge brands including Morphe and Superdrug and no doubt her star will continue to rise following the airing of her series.
Meanwhile, Junior is becoming a force in the music industry after signing a major record deal with Columbia at the age of 16, who also manage Harry Styles and Calvin Harris.

Princess followed in 2007 but the couple eventually called it quits in 2009 after four years of marriage. These days, Peter is married to Emily Andre and has Theo, Amelia and Arabella with her whilst Katie has Jett and Bunny with Kieran Hayler, and was already mum to Harvey, 23, with Dwight Yorke by the time she met Peter. Princess has addressed traumatic memories of her glamour model mum Katie’s divorce from Pete as well as her other very public relationships
In a candid confession on the series, its title a reference to the 2001 Disney classic starringAnne Hathaway and the young adult novel of the same name, Princess said: “I did have a counsellor, I do still see her every now and then.
“But I don’t feel like I can really talk, so I just write everything down in my notes. I do wish, like, I could have had a more happier childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age.”
Princess said she wishes she “wasn’t like that” and that she had things lingering at the back of her mind while being very young. She did acknowledge “good times” in her childhood and discussed Katie’s split from Kieran Hayler when she was 10 years old.
Katie and Kieran were married for eight years but had a rocky relationship, with accusations of infidelity. They officially split in May 2018 but were married from 2013 to 2021, and Katie is now in a relationship with former Married At First Sight star JJ Slater.
However, Princess admitted when speaking of her mum’s previous breakup: “My mum, obviously being heartbroken, didn’t deal with that in the best way, she went through a very, very dark time, which is understandable,” Princess shared.
Revealing how the tough time also had an impact on her, she added: “Which is hard for me because I was around adulty things that kids should never see and I think as well, when we needed our mum there, she wasn’t emotionally able to be there because she had so much of her own problems going on.”
She heartbreakingly shared how she would return from school early to “get into bed and cry”. Princess said she is close to her dad Pete, but would never speak to him about her pain.
The model confessed she has “always grown up knowing my mum and dad don’t like each other.” Princess added: “I wouldn’t say I’m fully, fully recovered from it but mum is such a different person and if you put her now to back then, she’s genuinely really fixed herself.”
Jota played for Wolves before joining Liverpool in 2020 and tributes for him and his brother have also been placed outside the Molineux stadium of the Midlands club.
“With heavy rain and thunderstorms forecast in the coming days, staff have begun carefully removing and preserving items from the tribute area to protect them from damage,” said a Wolves statement., external
“All non-perishable items will be carefully stored and will be retained for potential inclusion in a more permanent memorial, which the club is now exploring as a lasting way to honour Diogo and Andre.”
Wolves also plan to mark the passing of the brothers at their final pre-season friendly against Celta Vigo on Saturday, 9 August before the “main commemorations” at the side’s opening game of the Premier League season against Manchester City on Saturday, 16 August.
Footballers Diogo Jota and André Silva have been honoured by their family, friends and teammates at a joint funeral in Portugal.
Jota, 28, was laid to rest alongside his brother, Silva, 25, after they died in a car crash on Thursday.
Hundreds of locals and supporters gathered at the Igreja Matriz in Gondomar, where the brothers are from, on Saturday.
The funeral also brought together huge names from across football, including Jota’s teammates Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson, who were seen carrying floral tributes into the church ahead of the ceremony.
The service was held in Gondomar, a small Portuguese city near Porto, that has been left reeling after the brothers died.
PA Media
As a celebrated striker for Liverpool, Jota was known for his skills as a “natural finisher”
Players from Liverpool FC, who only three months ago were celebrating their Premier League win, arrived at the funeral together.
Watching them walk in line with each other, almost as they do when walking onto the pitch, was an emotional experience.
There was a strong feeling of community, but also a shared sombreness.
Many were visibly upset, with supporters on the other side of the barrier applauding the players. One woman in the crowd shouted towards them as they walked in: “Força!” – strength.
Family and close friends walked into the church in complete silence, many of them with their heads bowed down as the church bell rung.
One person in the procession held up a sign with Silva’s photograph, which read: “Para sempre um de nós.” (Forever one of us.)
So much was the brothers’ impact on football and their local community that some of the guests had to watch the ceremony from outside of the church, often hugging and comforting one another.
Locals and football fans in the crowd watched silently for most of the service, which went on for about an hour.
Many wore football shirts and carried merchandise from the different teams across Portugal and abroad where Jota and Silva, who played for local club Penafiel, spent some time in.

Antônio says the brothers’ family is a humble, nice local family
One of these fans was Antônio Moreira, who set off early in the morning to be one of the first outside the Igreja Matriz de Gondomar where the funeral took place.
“I know I won’t be able to go inside, but I wanted to pay my respects,” he told me from the barrier outside the church.
Antônio later showed me his phone case – a little old, he said – with the emblem of FC Porto.
Antônio recalled fond memories of Jota on the field, as he spent a year playing for the local club, but added that the brothers were so much more than football stars.

André Silva played for FC Penafiel in Portugal
“They were good people, from a humble family, people like us.”
This has hit him especially hard, he said, as 40 years ago his family went through a similar tragedy. His aunt, uncle and young cousin died in a car accident three days before Christmas, leaving his other cousin behind.
Jota and Silva may not have been his direct family, he said, but their deaths felt personal.
“This is what I think: losing your parents is hard, really hard. But losing your children is unimaginable,” he added.

One fan wore a Liverpool shirt, marked with Jota’s autograph
Jota’s journey as a player inspired many people here in Gondomar, football fan Fábio Silva told me.
He has kept up with the brothers since they started in the local clubs – and said he had to be here for their final journey.
“Despite the impact they had on football, and even financially, they never let it show,” he told me, adding the family are well-loved in the town.
“The community is sad, devastated,” he said.
Having spent some time with them over the years, Fábio said there was only one reason he was here: “Respect for the brothers, the family.”

Rafaela and Fábio said it was their duty as football fans and Portuguese locals to be at the brothers’ funeral
Avid football fans Fábio and Rafaela travelled from the nearby town Lordelo to honour Jota and Silva.
Wearing Jota’s shirt, Fábio said it was important to him to be here “for Jota’s final day”. Both said it meant a lot to the community that so many people showed up to pay their respects.
They watched the ceremony from outside the church, like hundreds of other fans – which Fábio said was hard. Nodding, Rafaela agreed, but said it was also beautiful.
“This is an example that you need to live life to the max,” Rafaela said, “because you never know when will be your last day.”
“Say everything you want to say, and need to say – tomorrow could be too late,” Fábio added.
