Traitors

We’re obsessed with The Traitors so have turned our home into the experience

WITH the launch of series four pulling in a massive 7.5million Brits, it’s fair to say Traitors-mania is in full swing across the UK.

Sweeping success breeds superfans – and they can now live the show out for themselves in a new experience in a UK seaside town.

James and Lindsey Gordon, from Whitstable, are also Traitors fans who have taken their obsession to the next level – by converting their family home into a traitorous lair.

Called House of Deceit, it’s a fully immersive nod to the nation’s newfound love of game shows that play on psychological competition and high-stakes deception.

The experience? A two-night, fully hosted stay where guests take over the large coastal house for secrets, strategy and suspicion.

Lindsey told The Sun: “When we moved to Whitstable, we thought we wanted a semi-detached suburban newbuild to accommodate our growing family.

“But the estate agent kept driving us past an imposing 1930s house that happened to be up for sale.

“I couldn’t take my eyes off it; it was so grand.”

The former care home had been closed for years – but it was too tempting for the couple who ended up buying the house.

She continued: “Since we began restoring it, we’ve uncovered original fireplaces, beautiful tiles and wooden floors.

“With nine en-suite bedrooms and lots of social space, it feels as though the house has been waiting to welcome new guests all this time.”

She said she even learned more about the house along the way, adding: “It was first built for the local doctor and his surgery before it became a care home, so by all accounts was full of mischievous, eccentric characters.

“It still has a sense of mischief – there are bumps in the night and we’ve heard giggles and laughter come from empty rooms.

“We can’t explain it, but the house is so big and eerie, it’s hard not to wonder if some of the residents ever truly left.”

Buying a big house and doing it up is one thing, but adapting your family home into a real-life murder and deception game is quite another.

For James and Lindsey, it transpires this pretty unusual path unfolded for them naturally, through a series of events that led to a bit of an epiphany.

“Last year, I was looking after my mum who had some health issues,” James explained.

“We became addicted to Celebrity Traitors and made sure we watched every episode together.

“We really bonded over the treachery and backstabbing, which became our special time together.”

It was this combination of connection with his mum through sneakiness and scheming, then finding out that their sprawling coastal home was potentially haunted that caused the penny to drop for James.

“We all love to watch villains on TV,” he said.

Also included in the sale are meals, use of the hot tub and wineCredit: House of Deceit

“You can trace this way back to Nasty Nick in the first Big Brother. And who didn’t get a kick out of watching Alan Carr embrace his evil side in Celebrity Traitors?

“One day it just clicked – just like the TV shows, we could give people permission to be wicked for a weekend, but in real life; our spooky house has the kind of atmosphere you can’t fake and you don’t need cameras when the guests are the show.”

Riding the wave of the country’s love of deception games, House of Deceit taps into this same appetite, but with an exciting format that will naturally chop and change with each different set of guests.

A fully designed world, led by the suitably sinister ‘Lady of the
House’, bedrooms, gardens and communal spaces all play a role.,

And with challenges, twists and revelations all woven into the stay, it promises to be as tense and theatrical as it is surprising and funny.

“Being stuck together in a creepy, creaking house is the basis for all great murder mysteries,” said James.

“Once you’re in the game, you can’t simply leave, which makes this
a very real experience – it’s actually immersive, rather than just claiming to be.

“Our guests will arrive good-natured and polite towards each other, but we’ll put them to the test and those masks will slip.

It costs from just £83.17 per person per nightCredit: House of Deceit

“When you discover that your kind aunty Rita has been bumping off
her family members while lying to their faces all weekend, will you ever be able to look at her the same way again?”

House of Deceit has been designed for birthdays, celebrations, team-building, and private get-togethers, with preview dates currently available at a reduced rate before the full launch in March.

The experience is suitable for up to 15 guests, who can all stay in the house.

For the two nights it costs a total of £2,495, making it around £166.34 per person for two nights (so £83.17 per person, per night).

And included in this price is your stay, the hosted game, use of the hot tub, three meals a day prepared by local chefs and a decent amount of wine.

If you want to test out being a Traitor yourself, there is also The Traitors immersive experience in London.

Plus, there’s a Traitors-style Scottish hotel owned by major sports star.

BBC The Traitors star Fiona Hughes shares clever tactic that didn’t make the final edit

The Traitors’ Fiona Hughes opens up about her time in the castle, working with Claudia Winkleman, being the first Secret Traitor, and her cunning plan to get everyone drunk

The first ever Secret Traitor, Fiona Hughes, has reflected on her experience in the castle and shared some behind the scenes secrets.

Fiona, 62, has reflected on her experience in the castle, becoming the show’s first ever Secret Traitor, collaborating with Claudia Winkleman, and earning the affectionate title of “hun”.

“I found it surreal really,” she recalled. “That I was there and on the train. I mean, that’s just magical in itself. Then when you get into the castle and it’s exactly as you see it on the television. It was wonderful. It’s awe, you just cannot speak because you’re in awe of everything.”

During the fourth episode of the current series, viewers discovered that Fiona was concealed beneath the infamous crimson cloak. Reflecting on the twist, she confessed: “To be given the privilege of being selected as having the red cloak was wondrous, but I did feel as well that there came a lot of responsibility with it and a lot of power which went to my head,” reports Wales Online.

Explaining her strategy, she added: “But all the names I was sending up to the turret were names of people in that very brief introduction that we had. I thought they were people who came across to me as being, as looking and behaving like the most faithful people on earth that nobody would question.

“So that’s how their names ended up going on the list, and I was only hoping that when the names went up to the turret that the other traitors would be able to read my theory of why those names should be considered. I didn’t know whether or not they were, because the feedback was going up the turret, not coming down.

“Then of course, when Hugo was voted off, I lost my cloak, and so I had to go in to meet Rachel and Stephen. I was really excited about that, but I was also mindful that they’d had the opportunity to gel and so I was going in fresh and could be considered a bit of a thorn.

“You know they say twos company, threes a crowd, and I was going into an already formed relationship. I felt that I wasn’t welcome there, and that Rachel would be able to get me at some point. So because I had that feeling, hence that resulted in my firing the gun and spectacularly missing.”

Viewers were gutted when Fiona was banished following a tense roundtable, though she certainly made her exit memorable. In what ranks among the most explosive moments in The Traitors‘ history, Fiona turned against fellow traitor Rachel, accusing her of “fibbing” about information she’d supposedly heard from previously banished contestant Amanda.

Despite her exit, the Swansea woman stands by her choice to betray Rachel. She explained: “You want to do the best that you can and so I think I did.

“I fired a shot too early at Rachel, but I knew she’s such a fantastic player and that it was my only opportunity and I had to go for it then because I would have been banished and I wanted to do it on my terms and not be somebody’s pawn. So my cunning little plan did spectacularly backfire.

“I know it came out of the blue, and it was the only opportunity that I could see, well, the only one that had landed on my lap, and I thought, ‘shall I run with this or shall I not?'”

“Then I thought ‘no, I’ve got to do it now because I would have been pushed under the bus in the following episode or the episode after’. So, when I asked Rachel to come and have a little word with me, a little one-to-one, which I would do with anybody.”

She explained her approach: “Then I asked her, ‘are you fibbing?’ It’s a gentler word than lying, isn’t it? That doesn’t sound so nice, it’s much nicer to say, are you fibbing?”

Behind the scenes, she deployed a clever tactic that didn’t make the final edit. Whilst others unwound with drinks following tense roundtables, the former traitor remained sober and alert, instead devising a shrewd strategy to ply her competitors with alcohol.

She explained her strategy: “I wanted to get them drunk. Well, if they drink it they might wake up with a hangover and be a bit loose-lipped and I’d be able to manipulate them and I could glean some information from them. But I don’t think that worked. Another cunning ploy that failed.”

Fiona revealed what it was like working alongside The Traitors presenter Claudia Winkleman. She gushed: “Claudia, well, what can you say about Claudia? I mean, there’s an icon now, isn’t there? She is lovely. She is such a sweet person. I mean I love her mother, Eve Pollard. I love Eve Pollard.

“So, you know, the fact that Claudia is her daughter, Claudia’s going to be marvellous because Eve Pollard has been my heroine for so many years, since the 80s and everything she’s done since, you now? So to get to meet Claudia and know that she’s a spawn of Eve Pollard, that was great.

“But she is so lovely, and the way that she dresses is beautiful. I mean, you literally could put a black bag on that woman and she would look spectacular.”

Since appearing on the series, Fiona has been showered with praise and affectionately dubbed a “hun” by viewers – though she admits the term initially baffled her.

She chuckled: “Well, I thought hun meant honey, like, you know, in America. Where you say ‘honey, I’m home’, I thought it was that. When I spoke with my husband and said, ‘oh, on the radio today, they said I was a hun’, and I said,’ isn’t that lovely’. He said to me, ‘what’s that mean?’ and I said, ‘honey.'”

“But when I did a Google, oh my goodness, the explanation, I still don’t know what it really means, but I’ll take it.

“I just think people have been so gracious and kind and I really mean that. Swansea people are anyway, and Welsh people are, you know, we are full of heart and goodness. Even people in Ireland, Scotland and England have been really gracious and kind to me, and I think that sums up the country as a whole. You know, we are a United Kingdom and we tend to support one another, which is lovely, isn’t it.”

Traitors Jessie falls off her chair on learning castle secret screaming ‘the audacity’

The Traitors is nearing its finale and recently murdered Jessie was gobsmacked to find out who was this season’s Traitors

Jessie Stride showed she had no idea of a secret in this year’s series of The Traitors. The popular contestant was savagely murdered as series four nears its end. But she couldn’t hide her shock as she discovered the truth about who were The Traitors. As she found out the game Stephen Libby is playing, Jessie shrieked and fell off her chair.

Speaking on Traitors Uncloaked, Jessie said: “Ellie, oh my God. I’m not just a daft lass who wears yellow and orange! He had the audacity to murder me!” Her reactions reached an all-time high however when she found out that Ellie and Ross are actually dating. “You’re going to have beautiful babies!” she said.

Her stunned reaction came as two players left the show on Thursday. Ellie was banished after Jessie had earlier been murdered.

The latest episode was one of the most emotional to date. As the remaining hopefuls enjoyed a dinner together, they explained their reasons for being on the show and revealed how they would use the winnings if they were victorious.

There were tears as Jade revealed her tragic past. The Faithful wiped away the tears as she told the group that she had lost her mother and her half-sibling in very difficult circumstances eight years ago.

The other seven players gasped and looked horrified for her as Jade explained: “My parents got divorced when I was seven, my Mum moved back to Hong Kong, she had a kid and then in 2018 they were both found dead.”

She added: “I have had to really rebuild myself from that point onwards. So I’m really proud of myself for being here and getting this far.” As the others commended her bravery, Jade said that if she ended up winning the prize money, she’d spend it on getting her own pad. “I think I’d really like to buy a home,” she said. “Somewhere I can call my own.”

And speaking to the camera after the dinner party, Jade said: “In 2018 I lost my Mum. I was always very close with her so it was a shock to the system.

“Our parents form a big core of our own identity so I had to rebuild myself. It’s affected me a lot. It takes me a very long time to let people in just because it does take me a minute to get comfortable and I can come off as a bit standoffish at first.”

Personal trainer Jack Butler, 29, also told the group his plan was to propose to his girlfriend “in the next few months”, saying he’d like to spend any winnings on a deposit for a house.

“I’ve got a secret plan, the ring’s already sorted, it’s a massive surprise,” he said. And that’s exactly what he seems to have done since the show.

Pictures have already shown him proposing to partner Kim during a trip to Santorini in August. The holiday took place two months after filming on the show ended.

‘I went on The Traitors and Claudia Winkleman showed her true colours with one question’

Claudia Winkleman has been the host of The Traitors since its launch in 2022, admitting she has now become ‘obsessed ‘ with the show, but one contestant has revealed what she’s like off screen

A former contestant on The Traitors has revealed what iconic host Claudia Winkleman is really like. Many fans of the hit BBC show will remember Paul Gorton as the cunning Traitor from 2024.

He managed to “murder” a fan favourite on the show and even initially found himself considered a well trusted Faithful. Paul however was eventually banished from the castle during one of the most intense round tables to date.

It paved the way for fellow Traitor Harry Clark to secure the prize pot in the final. Now in its fourth year The Traitors sees two teams, the Faithful and the Traitors, battling it out for a £120,000 prize pot.

Since its launch, the BBC One series has been presented by former Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia. The 53-year-old’s theatrical persona and deadpan commentary on the show have made her a favourite with fans.

And Paul says the humour fans see on screen seeps into Claudia’s personality off camera. Speaking to Heat, he said: “She’s a full-on stand-up comedian.

“Like, she is the funniest, driest person and an extraordinary woman. I’m so glad that she is getting her own chat show off the back of it – I still think there’s so much more that people haven’t seen from her.”

Last month it was announced that Claudia would be launching a new BBC chat show in the spring. It will be produced by the same company that makes The Graham Norton Show.

Claudia said: “I can’t quite believe it and I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity. I’m obviously going to be awful, that goes without saying, but I’m over the moon they’re letting me try.”

And while her career continues to take off, Paul says Claudia still occasionally keeps in touch with the former contestants from The Traitors. He says he gets the “odd message every now and again” and occasionally sees the TV presenter leaving a comment or like on Instagram.

Paul, 37, however says Claudia really showed her true colours when he bumped into her at the Royal Albert Hall last year. He said: “Claudia came over and said, ‘How are your kids? I love them,’ and you think, ‘Oh you’re invested in me. You’re not just a host and then you disappear.”

While The Traitors now pulls in millions of viewers each episode, Claudia admits she never thought it would be such a success. Speaking to Grazia magazine , she said: “We didn’t foresee this.

“We went to Scotland with the amazing people who make it and a pair of red fingerless gloves and gave it our best shot. I think people like it because the psychology is extraordinary – just watching people work out whether they’re being lied to. The dynamics feel addictive. I’m completely obsessed.”

The Traitors returns at 8pm on BBC One tonight (January 14).

Maura, 35, is on a roll after landing a place in The Traitors US — and insiders said she was determined to break into films.

A source said: “Being invited to the Golden Globes is massive and she used that opportunity wisely.

“Maura is serious about acting and wants to break through into her next role.”

Other stars on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA included Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Lopez and Jenna Ortega.

Rag N’Bone Man LOSES £1m mansion row after ‘bid to bully him out of home’

J-Lo’s sheer vintage Jean-Louis Scherrer by Stephane Rolland gown turned heads while Jennifer Lawrence’s custom-made Givenchy number drew comparisons to one of the designer’s dresses worn by Beyoncé to the 2015 Met Ball.

Wednesday actress Jenna’s Dilara Findikoglu outfit was demure at the front but daring at the side.

Emma Stone chose a butter yellow top and sparkly skirt from Louis Vuitton while Emily Blunt opted for a one-sleeve gown from the French fashion house.

Selena Gomez wore a classic black Chanel gown, with a white feather trim, while Irish actress Jessie Buckley chose a blue silk Dior dress.

Hedda actress Tessa Thompson was in a metallic green dress from Balenciaga, which she wore with jewellery from Bulgari, and Kate Hudson chose a custom-made Giorgio Armani Privé gown with Swarovski rhinestones on the neckline.

But it was Maura who stole the show.

Since finding fame in Love Island in 2019, she has carved out a career as a model and influencer.

Three years ago she landed a debut role in Irish feelgood film The Spin — and was tipped for success by director Michael Head.

At the end of last year she signed up in the US to Creative Artists Agency, which looks after stars including Zendaya and Ariana Grande.

Maura also switched her publicity team from respected British agency Dundas to American heavyweight Align.

The source said: “Maura means business and is laser-focused.

“She’s incredibly bright and very charming and makes it hard for people not to like her — and that will take her far in Hollywood.

“There is potential for her to split her time between the US and London, where she has a home.

“She couldn’t be more excited for the future.”

Meanwhile, fans watching on TV declared “skinny” was back in fashion amid the fat jabs craze.

Screen veteran Kathy Bates, 77, has credited Ozempic for helping her shift the last 20lb in her 100lb weight drop.

One viewer wrote online: “Did everybody leave their waists at home?”

Another added: “Damn, everybody looking skinny as f***.”

The Traitors saved my life says banished star as she uncovers life-changing illness

Amanda Collier says that the medical she received prior to filming the BBC show revealed she had a serious heart problem

The former senior detective who was banished from The Traitors last week has told how being selected for the show potentially saved her life.

Amanda Collier, a former Detective Chief Inspector with the Metropolitan Police, was given the routine medical check provided for all contestants before taking part on the programme – and was told she had a serious heart condition

The retired cop, who is originally from Bolton but now lives in Brighton, said she was diagnosed with “quite serious heart disease” after she had a CT scan before filming started.

READ MORE: BBC debunks huge Traitors theory that’s kept viewers guessing

The 57-year-old said the condition runs in her family and said she was “very, very grateful” to the programme-makers, saying that without the “due diligence” of the production team from Studio Lambert she would never have known the extent of her health problem.

She said the news has enabled her to get medication and change her lifestyle in order to stay healthy. “If I hadn’t had the scan I would still be running around doing what I’ve always done – such as half marathons which put a massive strain on your heart,” she told the BBC. “The good news is that I’m now on a course of drugs and I’ve changed my lifestyle, and I’m regularly checked by the NHS so I’m in a good place.”

Since leaving The Traitors series four, which was filmed in the summer, said has changed the way she stays fit, replacing long-distance running with short bursts of exercise like HIIT classes. The now retired senior Metropolitan Police detective added: “I’m very, very grateful for the show.”

In the programme she bonded with Traitor Rachel Duffy after learning that the latter’s mother has dementia, and she now works with an organisation which takes those with disabilities or conditions such as dementia on trips.

She has also become an advocate for the British Heart Foundation, and is keen to use her platform to raise awareness of heart disease. “I want to tell people heart disease doesn’t have an age… young people get it,” she said. “It doesn’t have to stop you doing what you love”.

Amanda was banished from the show, becoming the seventh player to leave, during the round table in last Thursday’s episode. Before she left, she unwittingly caused huge drama by confiding in her closest pal Rachel that she had had a long career in the police force

As well as receiving her potentially life-changing diagnosis, Collier said she had an “amazing” time on the show, despite not successfully picking out any Traitoes, instead focusing on Jade Scott and Sam Little – who are both Faithful. She described being in the programme as “intense, fun and nerve-wracking” and said the missions were “absolutely hilarious”.

Casualty returned tonight on BBC One after a three month break and for fans of The Traitors, there was a surprise familiar face in the series premiere’s guest cast

A Traitors star made their debut in Casualty tonight. While fans of The Traitors will have to wait a few more days until the dreaded roundtable returns, one former star made a surprise appearance on BBC One. Series one star Maddy Smedley took on a role in the BBC drama’s 2026 premiere, playing a patient who sustains severe burns after falling asleep in the sun.

Announcing the role on X, formerly known as Twitter, earlier today, Maddy told her followers: “Meet Bethany Chimes tonight on Casualty at 8:45pm BBC 1 or on iplayer now – she’s addicted to a sun tan cos she’s lonely.

“Sad story really and hope it raises awareness of melanoma and how bad the sun can really be. @bbccasualtyofficial #casualty love working again at casualty x.”

Fans watching the BBC soap’s return took to social media after spotting the Traitors star on their screens. “Maddy from #TheTraitors on #Casualty!” one wrote.

Another tweeted: “Good to see Maddy in #casualty from series 1 #TraitorsUK #traitors @the_traitors_.” While a third wrote on X: “As if I’m watching it now and I said to my friend ‘IS THAT MADDY OFF THE TRAITORS’ how fun to see you girlie.”

Maddy was one of the original stars on BBC One’s The Traitors, rising to fame after becoming one of the few Faithfuls to correctly suspect Wilf Webster of being a Traitor. While she made it to the final week, she was banished in the penultimate episode.

The TV star, who was an actor before signing up to the Traitors, has appeared in a number of shows since leaving the reality competition. She originally appeared on Casualty back in 2022, playing Jasmine Madbury.

Maddy also played the role of Faye Fuller in Hollyoaks, Sally in Big Boys and Dilys Shaughnessy in two episodes of Call the Midwife. Meanwhile, she made her film debut in 2023 in the film Unicorns.

Tonight’s episode of Casualty followed Holby City’s staff as they tried to work on the hottest stay of the year, with Dylan Keogh (William Beck) suspecting newly-qualified doctor Matty Linlaker (Aron Julius) of being his son. Meanwhile, new doctor Kim Change (Jasmine Bayes) failed to make a good impression with Nicole Piper (Sammy Dobson).

It marked the BBC soap’s return after a three-month break, with fans thrilled to see it back on TV. “Casualty is finally back! So excited for this new series! #Casualty,” one wrote.

A second added: “Here we go!!!! After 4 months away due to Strictly #Casualty is finally back.”

Sharing pictures from the resort’s poolside, Paloma looked relaxed and happy as she posed for selfies, while in another she was seen asleep in a bikini with her bump on display.

Alongside photographs of the Middle Eastern resorts sights, Paloma was also seen beaming next to Stevie in another loved up snap.

“Amazing trip to Oman with the boy, kids and bump,” she wrote alongside the pictures on Instagram.

“I have to say it’s an amazing part of the world and I am so blessed to share this time with my kids before new baby comes ….. taking time out with family from work is something to push for and I really try.”

“Someone said to me recently you only really get 18 summers with your kids and I was lucky to extend that with a bit of winter sun,” she added.

“I never take time with them for granted and I can’t wait to have my third miracle baby.

“I have to say, I feel VERY happy about my personal life right now, it’s all going wonderfully!”

Paloma announced she was expecting her third baby back in October last year, shortly after her brutal exit from Celebrity Traitors, where she was murdered at the hands of close pal, Alan Carr.

This is her first child with Stevie, having welcomed her two daughters, born in 2016 and 2021, with her ex-husband, artist Leyman Lahcine.

For both babies, Paloma was open about years of fertility struggles, undergoing IVF in order to conceive.

After splitting from Leyman in 2022 after a 10 year relationship, it’s believed Paloma and music venue director Stevie secretly dated for a year before going public with their romance in March 2025.

While she’s been praising her current pregnancy experience, in December she worried fans as she was rushed to hospital and put on a nebuliser after a nasty bout of Flu A.

Thankfully she has since fully recovered, taking the opportunity to ditch the British cold for a resort trip abroad with her family and loved ones.

Traitors star’s unrecognisable appearance wows fans who say she looks ’20 years younger’

The original Traitors star Amanda Lovett left fans in shock as she sported a fresh faced new look during her appearance on Uncloaked alongside stars including Charlotte Church

She became a fan favourite as one of the original Traitors on the BBC show until she was eliminated after her co-star Wilfred Webster turned on her. But now the Amanda Lovett, 57, has set tongues wagging once again following her recent appearance on the BBC show’s spin-off programme Uncloaked.

Amanda Lovett appeared on Friday’s episode of The Traitors Uncloaked with Ed Gamble, Charlotte Church and the most recent banished star of this series, Fiona. But it was her fresh-faced appearance that made viewers take a second look as she appeared completely different to her previous TV stint, while on the first series of the show.

It has been reported that Amanda has taken great care to look after her skin with the use of creams and non-invasive procedures in a bid to tighten her face, resulting in a more youthful look. One fan wrote: “Sorry but amanda looks PHENOMENAL #TheTraitors.” Another said: “What on earth has happened to Amanda #TheTraitors #TheTraitorsUK #Uncloaked.”

Meanwhile a third person added: “Uncloaked – how the f*** does Amanda not look ANYTHING like Amanda?!?!” A fourth penned: “Amanda (S1) looks 20 years younger on uncloaked omgg.” Previously, the mum of five, who is also a grandmother claimed that her treatments were only temporary and so she made the decision to undergo a neck and lower facelift.

At the time she said: “I was looking at myself on the camera, and I kept seeing myself at all these different angles that I had never seen before, as it’s so different to having a picture taken. I noticed my face and neck were just getting saggier and saggier.” She added: “I started to think about needing to wear a scarf or polo necks just to hide this area of my body that I didn’t like. But then I thought, ‘why should I do that when there is help out there that can sort this issue out and take the years back a bit?'”

The procedure is believed to have cost an estimated £7,600 and reportedly took up to five hours while awake under local anaesthetic. Recalling the procedure, she said: “I was a bit apprehensive at first – I wondered how bad it would be choosing to be awake rather than asleep, but it really wasn’t that bad. It felt like a lot of tugging, pulling and tugging. I found it comforting – I even dozed off at one point.”

The recovery period took three to four weeks according to the reality TV star as she waited for the swelling to go down. But her full recovery took three months. She added: “It takes time to heal, but I was back going out with friends after three weeks. Now I haven’t got a scar or anything. It’s absolutely amazing.”

Fans of The Traitors recently complained to BBC bosses as they felt the programme Uncloaked was spoiling the main show by giving away key pointers. The spin off show airs shortly after the main show and invites the murdered contestants and those who have been banished, as well as celebrities to discuss the recently aired show.

But at the end of the Uncloaked, show host Ed Gamble teases his guests and viewers have noticed that he usually gives an insight into who will be the next person to leave. During Friday’s episode featuring Charlotte Church and Amanda, they were invited to discuss Fiona’s exit and their appearance was shown on Thursday night’s episode of the spin off show, leaving some fans to figure out the outcome before the main show aired.

Taking to Twitter one person said: “So I worked out a theory last night, and I didn’t tweet it because I didn’t want to spoil tonight’s show but, alas, it came true. Regarding #Uncloaked, their guests keep spoiling the show, and I’m tweeting this so they hopefully see it and stop it!! @BBC.”

Another person said: “They have themed guests, and the pattern is too obvious. For example, Mark was on last night after Amanda got banished by chance, because he was banished by chance too. The other guest was Fozia, murdered face to face… just like Maz.”

The Traitors’ Fiona FINALLY spills all on blazing row with Rachel – and truth behind it

Secret Traitor Fiona has revealed the real reason she went after fellow Traitor Rachel and tried to throw her under the bus, as the Welsh woman is the next to be banished from The Traitors

The Traitors‘ Fiona tried to throw fellow Traitor Rachel under the bus in one the tensest episodes the BBC show has seen, but it was ultimately her who got the chop. On Uncloaked, the elusive Secret Traitor shared why she picked a fight, inadvertently causing her downfall.

This week, Fiona, who had only just been revealed as the Secret Traitor, told the Faithfuls that she thought Rachel was a Traitor, accusing her of lying about Amanda being a former police officer.

She was, of course, correct – hard not to be when you’re also a Traitor. Dobbing Rachel in was a first for the series, as it came completely unprompted and happened right in front of both Rachel and the third Traitor, Stephen.

Ultimately, Fiona’s devious ways caused the team to turn on her, and she was banished at the roundtable. On spin-off show Uncloaked, Fiona was asked whether she really thought Rachel was lying about Amanda being a retired cop. Fiona said: “I knew she was saying the truth. I absolutely knew she was saying the truth and I trusted her explicitly.”

But, the banished Traitor added that she thought Rachel would “throw me under the bus” and therefore felt Rachel had to go. “However I had my suspicions about Rachel and I thought if anyone was going throw me under the bus it was her. And in poker, when you have a rubbish hand, you throw the hand in.

“I thought that’s what I’m going to do here, I’m going to throw a grenade in the room and see who comes out unscathed. Unfortunately it was me, but I felt it had to be done. It would have been lovely if the three cloaks had gotten to the end but that was never going to happen.”

In the end, Rachel did not get a single vote at the roundtable, while Fiona went home. Despite her spectacular demise, Fiona said afterwards that she wouldn’t change a thing.

“No, I had an absolute ball. Yes, it would have been lovely to have won, but it wasn’t going to happen. I wasn’t fetching money to the table,” she said.

She later added that she felt Rachel was not a “team player”. Fiona said: “I wasn’t delighted to be leaving, but I was really the master of my own downfall because I needed to confront Rachel just to be sure in my own mind that she was a team player and not playing singularly.

“I suspected that when there was the end game, that I would be thrown under the bus, not by Stephen, but by Rachel. Rachel is phenomenal but she started playing this game the minute she was selected.

“She was amazing, I’ve got so much respect for that woman. But I felt that when somebody mentioned Stephen, she didn’t challenge their decision. So straight away I thought, she’s a lone wolf here, and if she’s going to get rid of somebody from the turret, it will be me.”

The Traitors’ red-cloaked Secret Traitor ‘unmasked’ as player gives themself away

The Traitors debuted a new twist for season four in which there is a red-cloaked secret traitor that is calling the shots from the shadows, unknown to faithfuls, traitors and viewers alike

The Traitors‘ secret traitor may have just unmasked themselves. During a confessional, psychologist Ellie said she was hesitant as she didn’t want people to think she is a “Secret Traitor”, leading fans to question how she knew those words if the Faithfuls are unaware of this year’s twist.

In the interview room, Ellie said: “People will question whether you are sitting and watching as a kind of Secret Traitor…” Fans picked up on her choice of words.

“Anyone notice Ellie talking in the interview room and saying ‘people will question whether you are sitting & watching as a kind of secret traitor‘,” one fan asked.

Another added: “Ellie saying “don’t want to look like a secret traitor” as a faithful who don’t know about a secret traitor??? Suspicious wording.” And a third agreed: “Ellie saying ‘thinking I’m some secret traitor’, why would you say secret and not just traitor unless it’s on your mind?”

The secret traitor is a new twist on the show. At the start of the first episode, which aired on 1 January, host Claudia Winkleman revealed that, this year, there would be a fourth traitor that is unknown to everyone, including the other traitors and viewers. This traitor, who was awarded a scarlet cloak, would call the shots, picking a shortlist of three people that the other traitors could murder.

Fans have been dying to know who this secret traitor is. Their moment to witness this traitor’s uncloaking almost came in episode three.

During tonight’s episode (3 January), the first traitor was banished. After Hugo was betrayed by fellow traitor Stephen, the remaining two were set a secret mission that could help them uncover the secret traitor.

Stephen and Rachel were told to mark the family tree of players with red ink, indicating who could be murdered. If they managed to mark nine names, they would not only get to murder a player that evening, but they would also meet the secret traitor.

They succeeded in their mission, after almost giving themselves away to Reece. As such, that night, the secret traitor made their way to the traitors’ turret.

But as they arrived, the credits rolled. This means fans have to wait until Wednesday 7 January to find out who it is, if the show tells us at all. Fans have found another way to root out the secret traitor though, should we not meet them.

After the first murder shortlist was revealed, fans noticed that Netty’s name was misspelled as Nettie. As such, they suggested that if they saw someone at the round table misspell Netty’s name, that person could be the secret traitor.

Unfortunately for amateur sleuths, Netty was murdered and therefore never voted for at the roundtable. But the point still stands, and fans have been taking note of the handwritten murder list. One said: “Based on the hand writing on the short list, I think Roxy could be the secret traitor.”
