Perrie Sian reveals the real reason she posted viral shart video which has gone worldwide
INFLUENCER Perrie Sian is known to her millions of followers for her fashion and hilarious sense of humor.
But she recently went global after sharing a video of her accidentally sharting while doing an outfit reveal on holiday in Antalya.
The clip has been watched almost 20 million times in ten days, with her bottom blooper making the news in the US, Australia and even Turkey.
And Perrie told The Sun it was Stacey Solomon’s dad Dave who persuaded her to post the viral moment.
She said: “I wasn’t sure I had recorded it because my phone is always filming for my vlogs, but I watched it back and then heard it and I was in hysterics,” Perrie explains.
“I was on holiday with Stacey Solomon and her family, and it was her dad Dave who said post it.
“The internet can be such a negative place and I thought, if this can make someone smile then it’s worth it.
“If you want some entertainment, go read the comments, there are over 4,000 and they are brilliant.”
Of the global reaction to the clip, Perrie adds: “National TV in Turkey, I’m obsessed. And the New York Post. Imagine this being your entry into America, them writing about your shart.
“But it’s been giving people such a laugh, it’s worth it. The memes are so good, my podcast Can I Be Candid posted one that said, ‘total eclipse of the shart,’ after the eclipse last week.
“I’m actually really just glad that I did post it. It’s made my family and friends laugh, it’s made so many people laugh now across the globe.
“I don’t think any video I do will come close to this annoyingly. I might try but I don’t think it will.”
