The Chase’s Jenny Ryan gobsmacked as she wins Celebrity Catchphrase in record time – but did you know the £50k riddle?

THE Chase brainbox Jenny Ryan proved her talents span across the game shows as she won Celebrity Catchphrase in record time.

The ITV fan favourite, affectionately known as The Vixen, showed her prowess on Stephen Mulhern‘s show as she scooped the £50K cash prize for charity.

Jenny, 43, starred on the celebrity special of the classic game show with David Baddiel and Hollie Arnold.

Wearing a pink cherry-print jumper, she didn’t seem fazed by any of the “say what you see challenges.”

Her cool head was particularly key in the last question with the whopper cash prize up for grabs.

The image panned on the huge studio screen showed a large fridge filled with food but also bizarre items such as a house, gold bars and a document with the word “shares” emblazoned on it.

Jenny stared at the screen and suggested the guesses: “Freezer, cold, argh.

“Money on ice,” before she uttered the winning catchphrase: “Frozen assets!”

Stephen squealed in delight as he revealed she’d won and Jenny was left wide-eyed in shock, with her hands holding her head.

He said: “I can tell you right now, not only in record time but the record amount of money raised on Celebrity Catchphrase ever.”

Yet would you have worked out the brain teaser?

The Chase branded a ‘fix’ by fuming fans as Jenny Ryan stops £142k going to charity

The episode first aired back in 2021.

At the time, Jenny hailed one of her “greatest achievements” on the series was “vanquishing that Super Catchphrase pyramid!”

Fans were stunned by her performance and one wrote: “You. Were. Phenomenal!”

Another posted: “Way to go Jenny! Never doubted you for a second. Super proud fan moment.”

The Chase: Current lineup of Chasers on the ITV show

The Chase first premiered on ITV back in 2009 and has become a firm favourite among viewers since then. The roster of professional quizzers (‘chasers’) has grown significantly since the show’s launch.

  • Mark Labbett (2009 – present): Known as ‘The Beast’, Mark is a former Maths teacher and previously won £32,000 on Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Mark has also reprised his role as a Chaser in the US and Australian versions of the show.
  • Shaun Wallace (2009 – present): Shaun, a barrister and former Mastermind champion, goes by the ‘Dark Destroyer’. Shaun has appeared on the Australian version of The Chase. In 2008, he finished as runner-up to Barry Simmons in Are You an Egghead?, a contest to find a new member of the then-BBC quiz team.
  • Anne Hegerty (2010 – present): A former contestant on Mastermind, Fifteen To One and Are You an Egghead?, Anne goes by ‘The Governess’. Since joining The Chase, she appeared on I’m A Celebrity… in 2018.
  • Paul Sinha (2011-present): Comedian and qualified doctor Paul joined the Chaser line-up in 2011, taking the nickname ‘The Sinnerman’. He has appeared on The Weakest Link, University Challenge and Brain of Britain. In 2018, Paul starred in series 8 of popular game show Taskmaster.
  • Jenny Ryan (2015 – present): Known as ‘The Vixen’, Jenny was previously in a winning team on Only Connect. She also appeared in Mastermind, The Weakest Link and Fifteen To One before joining The Chase in 2015.
  • Darragh Ennis (2020 – present): A postdoctoral researcher, Darragh joined The Chase in 2020 as ‘The Menace’. He is the first former contestant to join the line-up, having been part of a winning team against Paul Sinha in 2017.

A third simply put: “Smashed it,” while one posted: “Well done Jenny!!

“Amazing performance.”

SHOW FIX?

Despite her strong track record on Celeb Catchphrase, Jenny was recently called out on her own show, The Chase.

Fans flagged a fix as she stopped £142K going to charity.

Cheryl Baker, Mark Steel, Laura Tobin and Jason Bell faced Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan in a celebrity edtion.

While Jenny caught Jason, the other three all advanced to the Final Chase.

The team set an impressive target of 19 – while managing to push back Jenny multiple times.

However, the Chaser still managed to wipe out the famous faces within her time limit.

This meant Cheryl, Mark and Laura were left with £1,000 each for their charities, losing out on the £142,000 on the line.

One then wrote on X: “Bradley Walsh needs to stop speeding up when asking the chaser questions on the final round. Bit of a fix really #TheChase”.

Harry Clark breaks silence on Celeb SAS axe after shock brawl at Brits revealed

TRAITORS star Harry Clark has broken his silence after being booted off SAS: Who Dares Wins for cheating.

It was a humbling moment for the ex-Army lad, who has now admitted he “hated” his time on the Channel 4 show.

Directing staff Billy Billingham and Jason Fox caught Harry out performing only 10 burpee exercises when he’d been challenged to do 20 – then lied about it.

He was meant to complete the set before pulling a switch.

Harry said: “Obviously I was so disheartened and so annoyed, but at the same time in the back of my head I was like, ‘but it’s all right though because I’ve made that switch, I’m here to stay’.

“I did exactly what I would do in the military.

“And that’s what annoyed me so much because it was like I just hit that switch, but they’d kicked me off for it.

“So it was like, well then how can I prove to you now that I’ve changed?

“But then at the same time, when I look back on it and I’ve matured a lot now, they’ve probably done me a favour because I know that the next big stage was the interrogation phase.”

The show was filmed in September last year.

Celebrities always dread the interrogation segment and many crumble.

Harry added: “The place where I was mentally and physically, I would’ve definitely been broken down easy. I was easy pickings.

Celebrity SAS star axed after ‘lying and cheating’ on show – as another quits

“So I think they actually done me a favour kicking me off the show, they probably saw that I needed to go and sort myself out.

“I didn’t like the experience that much, personally, it made me angry at them and myself that I wanted to get better.

“I felt like they didn’t like me.

“I absolutely hated it while I was there.

“I just want people to be able to look at me now and think that is a completely different person.”

The episode of Harry’s exit aired as The Sun revealed he had got into a shocking brawl at the Brits Awards with a Tiktok star.

Harry is said to have had a “drunken scuffle” with Moe Osman at the glitzy bash in March.

Sources close to Harry say he retaliated after being “antagonised” by the influencer, who goes by the username of Hellacreps online.

Harry was an Army helicopter engineer for seven years but left the forces following his Traitors win.

Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha opens up on ‘horrendous’ health anxiety battle in emotional video

LOOSE Women star Nadia Sawalha revealed she’s been dealing with a “horrendous” health anxiety battle.

The TV personality, 60, said she constantly overthinks that she’s going to get sick and develop a “dreadful” disease.

Nadia shared the health update with fans on her latest YouTube vlog post as she insisted her “awareness” can become “draining”.

The ITV panellist star said: “I’m always worrying that I’ve got some new and dreadful disease.

“Something will pop up on Instagram or my 17 or 21-year-old will share something with me on TikTok or a magazine and I will just obsess.

“It’s a bit like a hot and cold running buffet and I go from one dish to another and the dishes I choose to nibble on the most is dementia, petrifying, I probably today questioned, I’m really not exaggerating, probably 20 to 35 times today… been to Loose Women, been on the train, been on the bus, talked to all sorts of different people, popped into a shop, there wasn’t anything I did today, any interaction or transaction where I didn’t go ‘that was a bit weird, is that dementia?’

“It’s horrendous.

“That’s one of them. Another one breast cancer, another one bowel cancer, if you think about it those are all diseases or illnesses that there’s been fantastic work done on awareness.

“Don’t get me wrong awareness is good, lives are saved because of awareness.

“But I think I’m too aware because there are so often articles ‘don’t miss the early bloody signs’, everything seems an early sign. “

Nadia revealed she has a fears that she will catch Weil’s disease one day – a bacterial infection contracted from the urine of infected rats.

“Sometimes I allow myself to hover over a really rare thing like Weil’s disease, is caused by rats in the water, I never swim in fresh water where there’s rats, but I can literally convince myself it is something I have,” Nadia continued.

Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha strips topless to celebrate turning 60 – as fans brand her ‘stunning’

“Skin cancer, constantly looking at moles, constantly convincing myself, oh my god, it’s so draining.”

Nadia admitted it’s “exhausting” and “wears her out” on a daily basis.

She said: “It steals the joy of life, I could be having a good time with family and then I’m like ‘I’m going to have that illness soon and I won’t be here’, and I can’t discuss it with my kids because they get mad, they’re terrified.”

Nadia added: “Another thing I get scared of is asbestos, I had a bit of it in the garden, Mark picked it up and put in the bin and I keep thinking he had a bit on him.”

ITV CUTS

Nadia’s health battle comes after she revealed she’s “devastated” after a friend and co-star was axed from the show amid the brutal ITV budget cuts.

It was recently reported that as of next year Loose Women will drop its live studio audience as part of a series of cost-cutting changes.

Now Nadia has confirmed the huge change and told how it means one of her friends will no longer have a job on the show.

Speaking in a recent YouTune with husband Mark Adderley, she said: “From next year there will be no Loose Women audience.

“I am totally devastated by this fact, I can’t get over it at all. Not only because the audience is so important for the show, but also my dear friend Lee who I work with every day.”

Comedian Lee Peart has been the Loose Women warm-up act since 2017.

An ITV source said: “While there is a proposal to not have a studio audience for Loose Women from 2026, that doesn’t necessarily mean that we’ll never have a studio audience again, it just won’t be in the same way as it is now.

“At this stage we are still exploring new ways of working and producing the show when we move to a new studio next year.”

Last month it was announced that Loose Women will air for only 30 weeks of the year from January

The shock move came as part of broader budget reductions across the channel, which also included halving Lorraine’s airtime to 30 minutes and airing it only during school term time.

Dragons’ Den judges called my idea ‘a disaster’ & ‘delusional’ – now it’s worth £40m & I’m opening 100 new restaurants

AN ENTREPRENEUR whose restaurant idea was rejected as “a disaster” on Dragons’ Den is set to open 100 new outlets of his popular chain.

Alessandro Savelli, who co-founded Pasta Evangelists and currently serves as its CEO, says the chain is aiming to become the UK’s “fastest-growing, casual dining hot spot”.

Now worth around £40 million, Pasta Evangelists was rejected on Dragons’ Den by business experts in 2018 when Savelli and co-founder Finn Lagun asked for a £75,000 investment for a 2.5 per cent cut of the company.

Dragon Jenny Campbell even called Finn “delusional” and “a disaster” during their pitch.

However, the entrepreneurs have no doubt had the last laugh as their business is now set for major expansion.

Pasta Evangelists says it will invest £30 million into new restaurants, creating up to 1,500 jobs.

It hopes to open 100 new restaurants across the UK in the next five years, including in the south of England, the Midlands, and Scotland.

The company is also aiming to develop a “Pasta Apprenticeship” scheme to attract new staff and help the current workforce develop new skills and knowledge, reports The Grocer.

Savelli said: “The demand for our fresh, beautifully cooked artisan pasta is growing.

“Our intention is to become the UK’s fastest-growing, casual dining hot spot and the hottest place to eat for pasta lovers of all ages.

“Sustainable growth has always been our plan.

“The hospitality industry is going through tough times at the moment, but we are confident that our business model is robust and dynamic, and the proof of this is we have already bucked the trend with the confirmed opening of five more restaurants in the space of three months, and more to come.”

Pasta Evangelists enter Dragons Den

The chain opened a restaurant in Farringdon, central London, this summer as well as its first outside of the capital in Guildford in July.

Three new London locations are set to open in the coming weeks, helping carry the total number of outlets to 11 as we head into autumn.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves said the plans were “great news” and highlighted the “dynamism and resilience of British businesses”.

The restaurant has had a remarkable success story since its Dragons’ Den miss.

Recalling their appearance on the BBC show, Finn said he was “shaking life a leaf” before walking out to pitch his business.

He added that he was left devastated by the business experts’ “vicious” comments.

Speaking to The Sun in 2023, he said: “I never would have expected to be called a ‘disaster’ or ‘delusional‘ on national TV – they were vicious things to say to a young entrepreneur.

“To use that kind of language against a young, passionate person was dismaying. I would never talk to any young entrepreneur like that.”

Despite their lack of faith in the business, the Dragons are no doubt feeling red in the face now as Pasta Evangelists is one of the UK’s biggest fresh pasta companies.

It has also earned the highest praise from many voices, including chef Gordon Ramsay.

SCARRED BY EXPERIENCE ON DRAGONS’ DEN

While Pasta Evangelists has gone on to huge success, Finn says he’s still scarred by his experience in the Den.

“We received an extremely strong, negative, visceral reaction,” he says.

“I was 24 years old when I went on Dragons’ Den, so for a seasoned entrepreneur like Jenny Campbell to call me ‘delusional’ and a ‘disaster’ was so vicious… Jenny was savage.

“At one point she said, ‘I like it’ and I replied, ‘Thank you’, only for her to say, ‘I like it because it’s a brilliant business lesson in how not to set up and run a business’.

“I was mortified, I felt like an idiot having grinned at her and thanked her. She was deliberately trying to take me for a ride for entertainment.”

Finn adds: “I don’t want to sound like the Virgin Mary but if the tables were turned and I was Jenny Campbell, I would have apologised.

“If I saw the business had turned into the UK’s biggest pasta company in a few years I’d say, ‘Well done, you defied expectations’ and maybe even offer a little contrition or an apology.”

She seemed right at home in a new video, making bolognese in her modern kitchen before enjoying it in the open plan sitting area.

Settling in to watch And Just Like That on her wall-mounted TV, Maura rested her bowl of food on a beige pouffe that also housed a diffuser and scented candle.

The space includes matching sofas, a fluffy bean bag, throws and a black marble floor.

Maura, who is reportedly worth £3.2m, wrote on her Instagram account dedicated to the property: “I finally have sofas!!!!!! @rowenhomes I can not thank you enough for these beautiful Boucle Sofas….

“My first weekend cooking in my new home & having my first piece of furniture has made it so perfect and cosy.”

She added that all of the furniture had been gifted to her.

Her followers were impressed with the stylish set up, with one commenting: “It’s really looking like a lovely home. Well done Maura they’re nothing like the feeling of owning your own home.”

Another said: “It’s starting to look really cosy.”

A third wrote: “Wow! It looks gorgeous!”

Maura has dubbed her five-bedroom detached home in a gated development, Casa A’Maura after the second villa on the show Love Island.

Maura Higgins makes shock return to Love Island USA after she was ‘replaced’ during series

The TV star found fame on the series in 2019, alongside her best pal Molly-Mae Hague.

The 34-year-old’s new Instagram account has amassed over 70,000 followers and in her first post, Maura shared that she had finally moved into the new space.

The light-filled kitchen opens up seamlessly into the back garden with the help of bi-folding glass patio doors.

The large garden features both a patio and a lawn and is fenced all around with some guaranteed extra privacy guaranteed from the large bushes all around the properties.

It has two reception rooms and five “generously-sized” double bedrooms with one as a master bedroom that features an en-suite and custom-built wardrobes.

When she bought the property, Maura called it her “dream home” and also treated herself to a £60,000 Porsche too.

Her previous home was targeted by masked thieves, and the incident left Maura shaken.

A source said in 2023: “Neighbours caught it all on CCTV and it was chilling to see three masked men ram through the gates and start trying to break into cars.”

Explosive twist in Myleene’s feud with Rochelle as it’s revealed singer gave her ‘cheating’ ex place to stay after split

ROCHELLE Humes gave Myleene Klass’s ex-husband a place to stay after their bitter split, pals have revealed.

The Saturdays singer, 36, lent a helping hand to showbiz security manager Graham Quinn, 51, in 2013.

Their continued friendship is said to have caused a rift between Rochelle and ex-Hear’Say star Myleene — who believes she took Graham’s side.

It comes after Myleene, 47, claimed she saw Graham and an unnamed celebrity “unzipping” each other at her birthday party.

Last week, we told how Myleene was locked in a feud with Rochelle and Saturdays’ bandmate Frankie Bridge, who were both clients of Graham.

Rochelle and her JLS pop star husband Marvin were also pictured with Graham in Ibiza.

A source last night told The Sun: “Rochelle was doing what she saw as looking out for a friend in a time of need.

“Rochelle and Marvin are still clearly very much friends with Graham.

“Myleene is of the view that Rochelle took sides from the beginning of her marriage breakdown.

“The fact Rochelle and Graham’s friendship is still there after all these years has put an everlasting rift between Myleene and Rochelle.

“They both do everything in their power to avoid each other.”

Rochelle and Frankie, 36, previously enjoyed a close friendship with Classic FM host Myleene.

Watch the awkward moment feuding stars Myleene Klass and Frankie Bridge come face to face on live TV

In 2012, Myleene and Frankie, both hosts on Loose Women, attended Rochelle’s hen do.

But they have not appeared together on the ITV show since an awkward episode last year.

The alleged unzipping incident is said to have happened before Myleene and Graham married.

The couple — who share daughters Ava, 17, and 13-year-old Hero — wed in 2011 and divorced two years later, with Myleene citing “unreasonable behaviour”.

The Sun on Sunday reported yesterday that Graham said he had been stopped from seeing his children since 2014 and had suffered from depression.

Representatives for Rochelle and Myleene did not reply to a request for comment yesterday.

Rozz was married to hunky Thomas Kriaras during her time on the show but their union came to an emotional end.

Her co-stars held onto her baby bump in one snap before she was seen posing with Jordan who sweetly planted a kiss on her cheek as part of the celebrations.

Rozz went all out for the day with a balloon wall being the centre of attention for the party.

She also had an elaborate flower display as well as a cake that appeared to read “baby M-D” in icing on the top.

TV insider reveals secret trick used by game show bosses to stop stars winning huge prizes

A long-wondered game show secret has been revealed by a TV insider, ending much speculation.

Ever wondered how some game show contestants win the jackpot and others who deserve it more don’t? Well, this could be the reason why.

The TV Insider

Gameshow host Richard Osman has finally answered the question about how some shows stop contestants from winning the top prize.

The Pointless and House of Games star revealed that certain questions are given to those taking part in the programme in a bid to keep cash prizes to a minimum.

On his podcast which hosts alongside Marina Hyde, The Rest is Entertainment, the pair often reveal the secret tricks used by the industry to ensure the success of certain shows and films.

Most day-time and evening gameshows have huge cash prizes, which can sometimes reach six or seven figures.

But most of the time, many contestants, despite showing great promise, only end up with a fraction of the maximum amount.

The secret trick

The 54-year-old said: “The questions wouldn’t be weighted particularly in that way,” he said. He went on to add: “But lots of formats have ways of ensuring there isn’t a payout.”

He added: “So, you’ll do a final round where you could win or you couldn’t win the jackpot.”

He later went on to explain that the cash prize at the end of each round depends on an algorithm for players.

There’s a reason not every can win the prize pot

Richard said: “You always have an algorithm. Daytime budgets are very small, but in your budget will be a line item for prize money.

“So, when we used to make Deal or No Deal, for example ― and it’s a good example, because it’s all about money ― you’ve got that £250,000 box all the way down to the 1p box.”

Simon Cowell’s million-dollar failure

He also explained that there have been many game show failures.

Simon Cowell once launched a game show in the USA

Wanna Bet? was hosted by tele rating’s safe pair of hands, Ant and Dec, and was based on the idea of the gambling game Red or Black.

However, Osman revealed that in the first four episodes in a row, the contestants ended up bagging the total pot – a jaw-dropping $1 million.

The car crash of a show therefore, only lasted six episodes before it was cancelled, becoming one of Ant and Dec’s rare failures.

He then compared this to his former show Pointless, which offers £16,500 per day.

Having hosted hundreds of episodes of Pointless since it aired in 2009, Osman knows a thing or two having tv formats.

The Repair Shop viewers demand BBC show is axed after ex-host Jay Blades’ rape arrest

The Sun reported Blades, 55, has been charged with two counts of rape.

On Tuesday (August 5), the show returned to its usual 8pm slot, although Blades was not featured.

Writing online, fans have called for The Repair Shop to be axed after nearly a decade on air.

One penned: “Could never see the point of him being in the Repair Shop he never restored anything but worn a new leather apron the show is better without him now.”

Another added: “Surely you must take the Repair shop off now if the presenter is accused of physical rape.”

A third queried: “Will the BBC be pulling repeats of The Repair Shop now?”

Police confirmed the allegations against the dad of three from Shropshire.

He fronted the hit BBC show for seven years before stepping back last year.

King Charles appeared alongside him on a special episode in 2022.

West Mercia Police confirmed charges against the dad of three, with a magistrates’ court date set for next Wednesday.

A spokesperson said: “Jason Blades, 55, of Claverley in Shropshire, has been charged with two counts of rape.

Axed TV host Jay Blades was weeks away from starring on new reality series before domestic violence arrest

“He is due to appear at Telford magistrates’ court on 13 August 2025.”

The TV star is currently awaiting trial on a separate charge of controlling and coercive behaviour against estranged wife Lisa-Marie Zbozen, which he has denied.

He was arrested in May 2024 – on the same day fitness instructor Lisa announced her decision to end their 18-month marriage.

In September, Blades was charged.

His actions allegedly caused Lisa “to fear, on at least two occasions, that violence will be used against her”.

The presenter pleaded not guilty to the charge — which relates to the period between January 1, 2023 and September 12, 2024 — at a court hearing last October.

As well as fronting The Repair Shop since 2017, Blades also hosted BBC shows including Money For Nothing and Jay Blades’ Home Fix.

Naga Munchetty ‘went ballistic’ at intern for getting her porridge wrong, claims insider – as host hit by bullying probe

NAGA Munchetty “went ballistic” at intern for getting her porridge wrong insiders claim as the host is hit by a bullying probe.

The insider previously worked with Naga, 50, on BBC Breakfast and revealed the host is an “absolute nightmare” and would “kick off about the smallest of issues”.

A source has claimed that under-fire BBC presenter Naga Munchetty has a reputation for going “ballistic” at junior staff.

They also revealed that she humiliated an intern who didn’t make her porridge perfectly.

An insider told the Mail: “She has a reputation for going at young members of staff and making them out to be fools.

“She would kick off about the smallest of issues, including one time she went ballistic over her breakfast not being prepared exactly how she likes it by an intern.”

This included the occasion where Munchetty refused to eat porridge delivered to her by an intern during an ad break as it was too hot for her to eat in the time she had.

“The guy walked off the set utterly humiliated and went back to chuck it away before trying again in time for the next ad break, it was pretty brutal to watch,” the insider added.

BBC spokesperson said: “While we do not comment on individual cases, we take all complaints about conduct at work extremely seriously and will not tolerate behaviour that is not in line with our values.

“We have robust processes in place and would encourage any staff with concerns to raise them directly with us so they can be addressed.”

It comes as the BBC is set to launch an investigation into Munchetty following a string of complaints.

The Breakfast host has been placed “under review” while bosses consider escalating matters to a formal investigation.

Gary Lineker tops BBC best-paid list with Naga Munchetty among biggest earners amid ‘bullying’ row as salaries revealed

A source said bosses had heard from a number of aggrieved colleagues, logging concerns over her “hard” and “bullying” behaviour on BBC Breakfast and her Radio 5 Live show.

She had also been hauled in by bosses over allegations she made an off-air sex jibe at 5 Live.

The source said: “Following the amount of people who have come forward to share their experiences with Naga, the BBC has officially moved to place the complaints under review.

“The review is to ascertain whether a full-on investigation is required and that could come in weeks.”

The Sun previously reported Munchetty faced complaints on 5 Live including a bullying claim and the use of crude, sexual language

Bosses were forced to apologise on her behalf after a tense interview with Spice Girl Geri Horner in 2023.

Munchetty began work on BBC Breakfast in 2014 and covers Thursday to Saturday alongside Stayt, as well as presenting a Radio 5 programme three times a week.

She is the BBC’s 10th highest earner, on around £355,000.

We reported since the bullying row had erupted on BBC Breakfast, her team had approached LBC radio to seek out new opportunities

Dragon’s Den star & gold medal-winning athlete took out £100k in fraud loans despite £75k show investment

A DRAGON’S Den winner and former Team GB gold medallist fraudulently used Covid loans to buy himself a £1.8million mansion.

Rick Beardsell illegally pocketed £100,000 worth of taxpayers cash to purchase his home – despite receiving a £75,000 investment during his stint on the BBC show.

The 46-year-old fiddled two Covid Bounce Back loans to buy himself five-bed Holly House in the exclusive village of Prestbury, Cheshire.

Dad-of-two Beardsell was only entitled to apply for one loan worth £50,000, but fraudulently applied for two and greatly exaggerated his annual turnover by up to 23 times.

It came after the world champion sprinter had successfully secured investments from TV Dragons Tej Lalvani and Deborah Meaden for his successful protein shake bottle business, ShakeSphere.

Chester Crown Court heard he applied for the loan to prop up his other company, Sports Creative Ltd, but none of the money went towards the sportswear business.

Prosecutor Geoff Whealan told the court Beardsell made the fraudulent applications to HSBC in December 2020 and then to NatWest in January 2021.

He said: ”The defendant stated on the HSBC form that the turnover of Sports Creative was £485,000 and on the NatWest form said it was £320,000.

“But unaudited financial statements showed turnover for the year end February 2020 was £20,622.

”The turnover was clearly exaggerated to secure the maximum bounce back loan.

“Subsequent transactions showed the bounce back loan funds were not being used for the economic benefit or business purposes of Sports Creative at this time.”

The money arrived in Sports Creative’s account in January 2021, but then almost £400,000 was transferred to Beardsell’s personal Santander account in the space of six months.

Then £431,160.80, including the remaining bounce back loan funds, was transferred to a firm of solicitors for the purchase of Holly House he bought with his wife Ezster.

Mr Whelan added: ”In effect the bounce back loan funds had been used for this purchase.

Shocking moment Dragons’ Den winner Ross Mendham smashes £100k Ferrari after ploughing into bike racks in city centre

“It can be inferred from the defendant’s conduct that it was his intention to use the bounce back loans for this purpose at the time he made the application for it.”

Beardsell, who won two World Records for sprinting, faced three years in jail after he admitted two charges of fraud.

In October 2024, he attended an interview under caution at the Insolvency Services offices.

In a statement he said: ”The guidance pertaining to Bounce Back Loans indicated that the proceeds of such loans may be utilised for any purpose that yields a direct benefit to the company.

”At that juncture, I sought professional advice and was advised that such purposes include, but are not limited to, the coverage of overhead expenses or outstanding liabilities, as well as the investment in company assets or property.

“The funds that were transferred to my personal account constituted a director’s loan and other economical overheads for the business.”

Mitigating, his counsel Nichola Cafferkey explained that the loans had been repaid in full to the banks.

She said: ”The loss of his good character is of some significance in respect of a man who has dedicated his life to his family, his professional entities and also his sporting endeavours.

“These offences were out of character and were committed four years ago.

“He has taken responsibility and repaid the money back. He knows that it’s his own fault.

“He has brought shame on his family and brought shame on himself.

”His wife is also his business partner and concerns that they have had about the ability to provide financially for their young children have been significant.”

The court also heard that Beardsell had suffered a series of medical issues both before and after securing the loans.

Ms Cafferkey continued: “A year prior to the submission of the first loan application, the defendant was diagnosed with an aggressive form of testicular cancer and required surgery and extensive chemotherapy.

“The chemotherapy was successful but led to some significant side effects.

”One of those being vertigo, of which he had a severe episode which required hospitalisation and thereafter there are ongoing long-term issues as a result of that.

“The investigations brought on by the defendant’s own actions has had an impact on his family which has led to a situation where he has been experiencing significant stress over the past few years.

“On top of that there are ongoing knee pains associated with his athletic success at national and international level.

“He has been running a business for many years without issue and it is plain he is extremely remorseful and regretful for his actions.

“The impact on his wife’s physical health in terms of stress and strain has been significant. There has been significant weight loss and insomnia.

“This will be the only time that Richard Beardsell appears before the court.”

Beardsell was sentenced to 18 months in prison, suspended for two years.

He was also ordered to complete 250 hours of unpaid work and pay costs of £11,142.70.

Judge Simon Berkson told Beardsell: “You fraudulently lied and lied again in your applications for these loans.

“They were supposed to be for use in keeping your business running but the money was used for your own personal needs and the needs of your family.

“This is not a victimless crime. The government was trying to help struggling businesses at the time of national crisis.

“People were in lock down, people were dying and people were very ill at the time when people required their public services.

“You used fraudulently obtained public funds for your own use, depriving honest people of the scheme’s funds when the country was in crisis.

“You are a generally successful man both in business and in sports, particularly your involvement with athletics.

“You continue to run your business and it was on the TV programme Dragons’ Den.

“You are a married person with two children and they are young children. You have survived an aggressive form of cancer.

“I have concluded that an immediate custodial sentence would have a significant harmful impact on your wife and children.”

John Torode ‘directed N-word at member of staff on Masterchef set as well as singing Kanye West song’, claims insider

JOHN Torode directed the N-word at staff member as well as singing it in a Kanye West song, claimed a source.

We reported yesterday how the MasterChef star, 59, repeated lyrics from Gold Digger, which contain the racial slur, at an after-work gathering six or seven years ago.

Torode is said to have used the word again while chatting to a pal on the BBC show’s production team – who did not take offence.

Torode, who vehemently denies ever using the N-word, is “utterly devastated” by the accusations and has “absolutely no recollection”.

He was sacked this week after an investigation by the Beeb and production company Banijay – which also saw former co-host Gregg Wallace axed for inappropriate behaviour.

However, the BBC has how revealed the second incident was not the one reported and led to a complaint.

The allegation was actually in reference to an incident that unfolded a year before.

An insider claimed Torode used the “extremely offensive racist term” on set after filming a MasterChef episode.

It was allegedly directed towards a member of staff.

And, there were eight further complaints lodged against Torode, which ranged from alleged racist comments, sexual remarks and abusive language towards junior production employees.

But, they were not upheld due to lack of evidence.

The report has also highlighted a complaint against a third unnamed person for swearing.

MasterChef Hosts in Feud: Gregg Wallace vs John Torode

According to the BBC, this is in reference to a senior exec on the show.

The company also lifted the lid on Torode and Wallace’s partnership and how the on-screen pals were “never friends” behind the scenes.

An ex-staffer claimed: “Clearly they had a good chemistry when the cameras were rolling. But you rarely saw them interact when the cameras were off.

“And when Gregg was saying inappropriate things like that, John held his counsel. I never saw him step in.”

Torode himself admitted “we’ve never been friends. We’ve not been to each other’s houses”, in 2017.

He even confessed to the Mirror there had been “a couple of standoffs” which left Torode walking away from his co-star.

When allegations about Wallace came to light last year, Torode’s lack of support was glaringly obvious.

In his brief statement, he said the “thought of anyone who has appeared on our show not having a brilliant experience is awful to hear”.

It was enough to reportedly make Wallace “furious” and led to the chef unfollowing him and his co-host’s wife Lisa Faulkner.

MASTERCHEF SCANDAL TIMELINE

2005 to 2011: Problems with MasterChef began way back in the mid-2000s, with 27 substantiated claims made against host Gregg Wallace regarding alleged incidents in this period, according to a report by law firm Lewis Silkin.

Most of these were related to sexually explicit comments, although one allegation of unwanted physical contact in this period was also substantiated.

The same report found there was a failure by the production company to retain records of any actions taken during this time.

2012 to 2018: Another 17 allegations were upheld from this period, according to the report.

The production company behind MasterChef investigated an allegation about Wallace’s behaviour in 2015 – but he was not made aware of the complaint.

In 2016, the production company merged with Endemol, introducing more formal policies as well as regular training and anonymous reporting lines.

The BBC intervened in response to a complaint in 2017, after which Wallace was then warned to change his behaviour.

2019 to 2024: One substantiated complaint about an inappropriate comment was from this time period.

November 2024: Wallace faces allegations of inappropriate sexual comments from 13 people across a 17-year period on a range of TV shows.

He steps away from presenting MasterChef while Banijay – the show’s production company – announces it will conduct an external review to “fully and impartially investigate” the claims against him.

Some of these allegations included Wallace “talking openly about his sex life, taking his top off in front of a female worker saying he wanted to ‘give her a fashion show’, and telling a junior female colleague he was not wearing any boxer shorts under his jeans”.

Banijay UK also confirms it has appointed law firm Lewis Silkin to lead the investigation into Wallace’s alleged behaviour.

December 2024: Wallace posts a video on Instagram which claims accusations against him making sexual comments towards staff and guests have come from “middle-class women of a certain age”.

His remarks are widely panned as “inappropriate and misogynistic”, causing Wallace to apologise for any “offence” or “upset” he caused with his remarks, saying he will “take some time out”.

Co-host John Torode says he “loves being part of” the show and “will continue to be a part of it”.
July 8 to 9, 2025: Wallace is sacked as MasterChef presenter following an enquiry into his alleged misconduct by Banijay.

In an Instagram post, the former greengrocer claimed he had been cleared of the “most serious and sensational accusations” against him, ahead of the published review.

He also said he recognised that some of his humour and language was inappropriate “at times” and apologised for this.

July 14, 2025: Lewis Silkin publishes its report, on behalf of Banijay.

It says that a total of 45 out of the 83 allegations made against Wallace during his time on the show were substantiated, including one allegation of “unwelcome physical contact”.

It concludes that the “majority of the substantiated allegations against Wallace related to inappropriate sexual language and humour”, adding that “a smaller number of allegations of other inappropriate language and being in a state of undress were also substantiated”.

In the wake of the report’s findings, Banijay says that “Wallace’s return to MasterChef (is) untenable”.

July 15, 2025: Co-host Torode is sacked after allegedly making a racist remark while on the show.

BBC bosses axe the TV host and slam an “extremely offensive” term, which was raised in the bombshell report into Gregg Wallace’s “inappropriate behaviour”.

Torode says the comment – which the report attributed to an unnamed person – referred to him, but added: “I have absolutely no recollection of this, and I do not believe that it happened.”

This comes after a source told The Sun Torode is in “a pretty bad way — he’s feeling very fragile” since being sacked this week.

Melbourne-born John moved to the UK in 1991 and started working in London restaurants including Quaglino’s.

It was there he met greengrocer Wallace, who provided their veg.

He started cooking on This Morning in 1996 before he and Wallace began hosting the revamped MasterChef in 2005.

But the host was only spoken to by a representative from legal firm Lewis Silkin at the end of June as part of the inquiry into his MasterChef co-host Gregg Wallace.

A source added: “One of the allegations is that he said the N-word while repeating Kanye’s Gold Digger song during a gathering with his colleagues when filming had ended. John is adamant he would never have used the N-word and only knows the radio version of the song which says, ‘Now I ain’t sayin’ she a gold digger, but she ain’t messin’ with no broke, broke’. The clean version of the song is the only one he knows.

“The person who raised the complaint didn’t say anything at the time. So John only found out a few weeks ago that this issue had been raised.

“This has hit him like a ton of bricks as he does not recall it.

“He insists he would never have repeated the N-word in those lyrics because he only knows the radio edit of that song.”

Those close to Torode have criticised the BBC’s handling of his departure, with his representatives only being made aware his contract wasn’t being renewed after the BBC press office released a statement.

A source added: “John is devastated by all of this. He is being supported by his wife Lisa and friends. They’re keeping him close because he has really been struggling.

“John abhors this kind of language and does not recall ever reciting a racist slur in a lyric, or directing one to someone he considered a friend at work.

“He adored MasterChef. It was a huge part of his life. To have it all ending like this is awful.”

Wallace, 60, was also officially sacked this week by the BBC and Banijay after an independent investigation was carried out into allegations of bad behaviour on the show between 2005 and 2024.

A total of 45 out of 83 allegations were upheld.

The majority were inappropriate sexual language.

One related to unwanted touching.

BBC boss Tim Davie has since broke his silence on the future of MasterChef following the scandal.

He said: “I absolutely think it does, I think a great programme that’s loved by audiences is much bigger than individuals.

“It absolutely can survive and prosper, but we’ve got to make sure we’re in the right place in terms of the culture of the show.”

The Sun revealed that the final MasterChef series, with Wallace and Torode as hosts, will air “once the dust has settled”.

Meanwhile, Torode’s wife Lisa Faulkner has revealed “I don’t read anything about us” as she opened up about her six-year marriage.

What did the report find?

FORTY-five allegations made against Gregg Wallace during his time on MasterChef, including one of “unwelcome physical contact”, were found to have been substantiated.

An independent report commissioned by production company Banijay assessed 83 allegations against Wallace.

The report substantiated:

– Twelve claims he made inappropriate jokes and innuendo;

– Sixteen reports he made sexually explicit comments;

– Two allegations that he made sexualised comments to or about someone;

– Four complaints that he made culturally insensitive or racist comments;

– Three claims that he was in a state of undress;

– Seven allegations of bullying;

– One allegation of unwanted touching.

The allegations span from 2005 to 2024

Blind Date reboot will return with HUGE twist inspired by another ITV game show

IT is one of the most nostalgic TV reboots of the year – but I can reveal the return of Blind Date will come with a very modern Love Island-style twist.

Earlier this month I revealed the programme, made famous by host Cilla Black in the Eighties on ITV, was being revived by Disney+.

Maya Jama in a black dress in a pink office setting.

4

The Blind Date revival will be set on a tropical island — just like Love Island, hosted by Maya Jama

But it will have a different flavour because much of the show will be spent on a tropical island — just like Love Island, hosted by Maya Jama— where contestants will compete for a dream wedding on the golden sands.

A TV insider said: “This sounds like a radical departure from the old Blind Date, one that definitely has hints of Love Island about it.

“But fans will recall a lot of the dates took place in hot, sunny climes abroad, and producers want to recapture some of the steamy fun, and expand upon that.

“Even the wedding element has hints of the old show, because the dream was always that the dates on the programme would lead to couples tying the knot.”

Cilla was at the helm for 18 years on the show which saw a contestant firing questions at three hopefuls concealed from their view by a wall — which slid back to reveal their chosen date.

One of the hopefuls in 1991 was Amanda Holden.

The TV insider added: “In the reboot, the creators are not entirely dispensing with all of the old characteristics either as there are still plans to incorporate the show’s famous sliding wall and hire a top female host just like Cilla.”

Disney+ is imminently expected to confirm it is reviving Blind Date, though all details have been kept firmly under wraps.

No presenter has signed up as yet but the channel is targeting some big names in British TV, with the main criteria being that they have to be hugely famous women.

Here’s hoping whoever gets the role doesn’t mind getting a bit of sand between their toes in the course of the job.

STEPHEN IN TECH LESSON

STEPHEN FRY wants to make a futuristic TV drama series where e-mails, TikTok and SnapChat are “uncool” and people return to basic communication in “an unplugged life”.

The Celebrity Traitors star told podcast Extraordinary Life Stories: “I was planning to write a TV series in which this kid comes to a school and completely changes it.”

The pupil asks the teacher how to submit his essay as he doesn’t have a computer so can’t email it.

Stephen continues: “All the other (pupils) think ‘Who is this ridiculous child?’

“But then he starts influencing everybody. They think this is quite a fun way to live.

“We’ve come to a tipping point now where the uncoolest thing in the world is Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok.

“We know they’re harmful, but they are also vapid and shallow and silly.

“Imagine an unplugged life using all these fabulous old tools. You’d be the coolest people.”

SEX JOKE BIT MUCH FOR WILL

BRIT actor Will Sharpe came over all prudish about a sex scene in upcoming Netflix rom-com series Too Much . . . well, compared with the Americans on set.

He cringed as US actress Megan Stalter, who plays the lead role in the show about an American woman coping with a new life in London, joked with the show’s US creator Lena Dunham after the X-rated action.

At this week’s launch of the show, which drops on July 10, Lena said: “One of Meg’s favourite things to do is to ask you after a take: ‘What face were you making during that?’

“One time it was right after a sex scene and Meg was like: ‘What face were you making during that?’

“And I heard Will’s mic, like: ‘Jesus f***ing Christ, Meg!’”

First look at Liam Payne in his final TV show as Netflix release trailer for Building The Band

SHOCKED fans, former co-workers, loved ones and friends flooded social media with sad tributes to Liam Payne after news of his death emerged.

Harry Styles’ mum Anne was among the first from One Direction’s camp to share her reaction, posting a photo of Liam and writing ‘Just a boy…’ alongside a broken heart emoji.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden shared an image of the pair together with the words: “Such an awful tragedy.

“Sending love to his family and all those who loved him.”

X Factor star Olly Murs told fans he was “devastated” and “lost for words”.

He wrote on social media: “Liam shared the same passions as me, the same dreams so to see his life now end so young hits hard, I’m truly gutted and devastated for his Family and of course his son Bear losing a dad x”.

Liam Gallagher said he was “very sad” and told his followers on X: “Life is precious Kids, you only get to do it once, go easy.”

Former X Factor presenter Dermot O’Leary has also expressed his shock and spoke on This Morning.

He said: “I remember him as a 14 year old turning up to audition on The X Factor, and blowing us away singing Sinatra. He just loved to sing.

“He was always a joy, had time for everyone, polite, grateful, and was always humble.”

BBC Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball reacted to the “devastating news” on her show and told fans she hugged her own son Woody tight this morning.

JLS band member Marvin Humes reflected on his memories with the singer, sharing: “I first met Liam in 2008 with the JLS boys whilst auditioning for X Factor..he was 14 years old..

“We instantly clicked and looked at him as a little brother..that year it worked out for us but not for him and then 2 years later he went back to audition and One Direction was born..the rest is history..

Former Little Mix star Jade Thirwall – who won X Factor with her bandmates one year after One Direction took part – described him as “the first friend I made in this industry”.

She said: “We fell out of touch as the years went by, but back in 2008 he was the first friend I made in this industry.

“Both of us so young, so ambitious, both hoping we’d ‘make it’. I hope you are at peace now”.

Camila Cabello described his death as a “tragedy” and said he “made an impression” on her when she was a young girl.

Bobby Brazier calls dad Jeff a ‘rock’ in sweet Father’s Day post after brother Freddy makes rehab U-turn

BOBBY Brazier has called his dad Jeff a ‘rock’ in a sweet Father Day’s post – after his brother Freddy’s rehab U-turn.

The EastEnders star, 22, and younger sibling Freddy, 20, are sons of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody.

Taking to Instagram, Bobby shared a photo of himself, Jeff and Freddy stood on a beach, looking out towards the ocean.

With the three having their arms around each other in the snap, he captioned: “My dads a rock.”

It comes as Freddy made a shock U-turn on plans to enter rehab – just days after admitting he’s been hooked on smoking since the age of 12.

The Celebrity Race Across The World alum shared a dramatic change of heart on Instagram over the weekend.

Posting a black and white throwback of himself as a child, Freddy wrote: “You know what I don’t need rehab! I just need a holiday with a good group of boys or a retreat.”

Freddy stunned followers when he opened up about a long-standing smoking addiction and a desire to make peace with his dad after a tense family rift.

The 20-year-old, revealed he wanted to get help in Spain for cannabis, saying he “wants a healthy relationship with his dad”.

In a heartfelt post, he said: “I want to be clean so I can life happily and have healthy relationships with people and be there for all of my family rather then feeling like I’m in the middle and have to choose a side.”

Freddy also shared hopes of mending things with his famous father, saying: “I want to play football and take up boxing. I want to be happy and be in a healthy relationship and have a healthy relationship with my Nana and my father.”

Elsewhere, elder son Bobby has “become a Hare Krishna” and is “seeking solace” in rituals following mum Jade’s death.

The former Strictly finalist has become a regular at the Hare Krishna temple in Soho, where he takes part in communal prayers, chants mantras and helps prepare meals.

Friends say Bobby’s interest in spirituality has grown over the past year and is helping him process the lasting impact of losing his mum to cervical cancer in 2009, when he was just five.

A volunteer at the temple told MailOnline: “He’s here every Saturday without fail. He joins our kitchen session, learns the prayers – this isn’t a gimmick.”

A family friend added: “Bobby had a difficult life. His mum dying left a mark on him, as it would.

“Hare Krishna is somewhere he seeks solace. It might seem strange, but for him, it works.”

Last year, The Sun published images of Bobby joining in cha-cha-chanting at a Hare Krishna gathering on Oxford Street, where he was even seen handing out leaflets.

Bobby said of the movement: “I’ve had the blessing of meeting some incredible devotees who have really taken me under the wing and been really merciful upon me.

“And they are just the most beautiful, happy, content, smart, intelligent people.”

The young actor will also soon be leaving his EastEnders role as Freddie Slater.

Inside Bobby Brazier’s burgeoning TV career

Bobby Brazier has risen through the ranks to become a well known face on British TV.

As the son of Jade Goody and Jeff Brazier, he has been well-known amongst the public from a young age.

Bobby first embarked on a showbiz career when he was just 16-years old when he started modelling.

The star made his catwalk debut in 2020 at Milan Fashion Week, but it wasn’t long before he had his eyes on a TV career.

He shot to prominence in 2022 when he was cast as Freddie Slater in EastEnders.

The incredibly acting skills displayed on screen earned him the National Television Award in the ‘Rising Star’ category.

His famous dad was in tears as Bobby accepted the award on stage in front of the likes of Holly Willoughby and Alison Hammond.

It wasn’t long before BBC bosses wanted him to take part in the 21st series of Strictly Come Dancing.

He clearly impressed the viewers with his dancing skills as he made the grand final and was a runner-up.

Since then, viewers were delighted when he returned to his role in the long-running BBC One soap.

An EastEnders spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that Bobby Brazier will be leaving EastEnders, and we wish him all the best for the future.”

A telly insider revealed: “Bosses had a meeting with Bobby only recently as they had a plan in mind for a storyline, and it just so happened that Bobby was also thinking that now was the right time to look for other opportunities outside the show.

“The timing of the decision worked for both, but his final scenes are not for a while yet.

“The character has had a great run, but the time is now right for Bobby to look for other opportunities, and for EastEnders to wave goodbye to Freddie Slater.”

Soccer AM’s iconic celeb penalty shootout inspires new comedy series produced by huge TV comedian

SINCE Sky’s Soccer AM left our screens two years ago, its celebrity penalty shootout has been much missed.

But I can reveal the fan-favourite format has now inspired a copycat segment from Graham Norton‘s So Television.

Just like Sky’s original version, the new series will see a line-up of big names stepping up to the penalty spot to try to score.

But with comedian Chloe Petts in charge of proceedings, it will feature fellow comics only.

So far stars including Nish Kumar and Harriet Kemsley are on the team sheet.

A source said: “Penalties frequently provide some of the funniest moments in football, so adding comedians to that mix will bring about endless laughs.

“Soccer AM had big names like Stormzy, Ed Westwick and Louis Tomlinson desperate to be involved so everyone is very excited that this new spin-off could run and run.

“Chloe Petts is a genuine football fan and brings a wealth of knowledge, as well as humour. Filming begins this week in London and everyone can’t wait to see how it turns out.”

In an increasingly common move, the series is first heading to YouTube.

The source added: “This kind of content lends itself brilliantly to a short-form media and so will live online for now.”

Soccer AM ran for 29 years on Sky until it was shelved in May 2023 due to falling ratings.

As well as the penalty spot, other segments included the Nutmeg Files, Unbelievable Tekkers and the Crossbar Challenge.

Plenty of comedic inspiration there too, I’d say.

‘I cringe about that’ says Soccer AM legend as he admits regret over much-loved segment that ‘pushed the boundaries’

Love Island in fakery row as fans claim conversation was ‘scripted’ between the boys

LOVE Island fans have hit out at the show for setting up a “scripted” scene between the boys on tonight’s show.

The lads headed off to enjoy an evening without the girls and the conversation quickly turned to their pairings.

But the girls weren’t entirely thrilled with what they heard.

Each of the lads took it in turns to discuss their relationship.

Connor said he was “enjoying” Toni’s company despite not being each other’s natural types.

Ben said it was a “long time coming” with Shakira, while Dejon said he “wasn’t expecting to find something so rare so quick” with Meg.

Tommy admitted he and Megan were strong – saying she “ticks every single box” and added: “I’m new to the relationship stuff, but I’m putting in the energy.”

But Harry was keen to stir up some trouble and asked if any of the lads had any worries.

Harry asked Ben if there was anything he should be concerned about when it comes to Shakira.

“With the Blu situation, her not being honest if she’s not feeling it. If it was me and I wasn’t feeling the girl. I made it known, I don’t feel like Shakira does that, she can give mixed signals,” Ben explained.

Tommy admitted all of the girls could have their heads turned.

Helena admits she had a threesome as Love Island stars discuss sex

While Harry said he had concerns when it came to Helena after her threesome confession.

But viewers were quick to claim that the conversation looked like a “set-up” and appeared to be “scripted”.

One wrote: “Well this isn’t scripted at all is it(!).”

A second said: “Ohh the producers doing something different but still scripted a bit cause if you’re told to sit down and discuss the girls you know it’s going to be shown back.”

A third commented: “This show is becoming more and more scripted. Their mannerisms are not natural.”

Another added: “Idk this part seems scripted.”

And the surprises didn’t stop there, as all of a sudden the boys are greeted by not one, not two, but THREE brand new bombshells.

Emily, Malisha and Yasmin crashed the boys’ night and wasted no time in getting to know the group.

Megan spotted the bombshells and shouted “There’s three of them!”

A stunned Meg added: “You’re joking!”

Harry asksed the new bombshells: “Are you coming back with us?”

Malisha said: “Of course I am!”

Yasmin added to the boys: “Tell us what your situation is in the Villa at the moment?”

They fill them in on their current situations and how they’re feeling, but as they’re blissfully unaware that their every move is being watched, they don’t hold back with their answers.

NICK Knowles’ new wife Katie has shared some new photos from this wedding – and she’s already changed her name on Instagram.

The DIY SOS star and the mum-of-two were all smiles as they posed outside the country house, with the bride showing off her chic style in a stunning blue and white gown.

And they’ve given fans a glimpse into their big day and were seen enjoying their first slow dance together after exchanging vows at Braxted Park in Essex.

Now, Katie, who has already changed her surname to Knowles on social media, has shared a string of stunning photos from inside their big day.

She penned to her 90,000 followers: “When you marry your soulmate.”

Katie shared photos of her and Nick hugging on the dance floor, as well as some beautiful black and white images of them cutting their three-tiered wedding cake.

She also posted sweet polaroid snaps with family and friends, and a fun photo of her and Nick posed in playful costumes against a floral backdrop.

Fans flooded the comments with messages of congratulations.

One person wrote: “Congratulations to you both Katie and Nick I’m happy for you both,” and a second added: “Gorgeous .. wishing you all happiness in the world.”

A third said: “Looks like you had the perfect day even though the buried sausage didn’t work,” referring to the rainy weather.

Nick Knowles and wife Katie Dadzie show off their dance moves on wedding night

Fans also loved watching clips of the couple’s first dance.

DIY SOS presenter Nick was decked out in his pink jacket while lingerie boss Katie sported her elegant blue floral gown as they swayed and gazed lovingly into each other’s eyes.

Even the joker Nick couldn’t resist having a laugh and busted out some twerking at the end while Katie jokingly shook her head.

Katie then did an outfit change and slipped into a white mini dress with match trainers and a glittery hat.

Nick clearly liked what he saw, removing his jacket and spinning it around over his head.

And despite having to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing due to injury last year, Nick proved he’s still got the moves as he spun his wife around the floor.

Later the pair let their hair down further by downing shots with their pals.

There was also lots of entertainment for guests, with a carnival dancer taking to the stage at one point.

Later, a band performed songs for the merry crowd.

Nick and Katie spared no expense on the big day, which is rumoured to have cost six figures.
