HARD as it is to accept, if the prime McCann suspect disappears after his release from prison he’ll take all hope of solving the Maddie case with him. And I know who is to blame.

When he was sentenced in 2019 – after witnesses and DNA tied him to the dreadful attack – he was already a multi-convicted paedophile targeting girls as young as five and with a known obsession for brutal sexual attacks, which he privately fantasised over.
But thanks to Germany’s soft-touch justice system, he has now walked free from prison despite warnings he could reoffend, serving the same sentence a violent burglar would have faced in Britain.
And was his time behind bars tough? One lag told The Sun that JVA Sehnde prison – where Brueckner was caged – is “like Starbucks,” full of friendly staff, abundant coffee and individual TVs and electrical goods provided for every inmate.
The harsh reality is that the paltry sentence Brueckner was handed by a judge is not out of the ordinary in Germany.
Critics have described the justice system as so farcical that it has become “accommodating” to criminals and “a blessing” to violent crooks and sex attackers.
In fact, you can look no further than ten miles from the prison where McCann suspect Brueckner was housed.
In Hanover, a man dubbed “The Maschsee Murderer” isn’t hiding or scraping by after his awful crime – he is enjoying a thriving social media existence.
In 1997, Alexander K lured a friend to Lake Maschsee, strangled her, dismembered the body and dumped the remains in the water.
The right-wing extremist was sentenced to just 15 years behind bars and was simply released after serving his term, despite the brutality of his crime.
Since then, Alexander has become a TikTok phenomenon with followers fascinated by him arranging dates through apps while he openly talks about his dark past.

He would go on to post pictures and videos of women he enjoyed dinner with, callously wearing T-shirts that read: “I survived a date with the Maschsee Murderer.”
While exploiting such an unforgivable crime is forbidden in the UK, Alexander has capitalised on his past, turning his vile reputation into a source of danger tourism.
Another case close to Brueckner’s former jailhouse in Hanover highlights the uphill battles faced in monitoring offenders – and keeping their victims safe and reassured.

Vanessa Münstermann’s life was transformed forever when a jilted ex took revenge by throwing acid in her face – causing her agonising pain and a lifetime of disfigurement.
The 29-year-old beautician lost an eye and an ear after she was attacked while walking her dog – and was forced to undergo surgery for years afterwards to treat her injuries.
Critics have described the justice system as so farcical it has become ‘accommodating’ to criminals and ‘a blessing’ to violent crooks and sex attackers
A judge at the time described it as “an extreme crime with extreme consequences”.
Yet her former lover is set to be released imminently after just SIX years behind bars.
Panicked Vanessa – worried about retribution – has been trying to get officials to slap him with an electronic tag to monitor his movements and include conditions not to go near her.
Despite fighting for more than two years, there are no signs of success.
Maddie suspect released
German investigators also faced a similar uphill battle before Brueckner’s release, but it appears their calls for the sex offender to be tagged have been granted.
He officially left the high-security prison in Sehnde near Hanover just after 9:15am German time yesterday morning.
The rapist was even given breakfast before being driven away in his lawyer’s black Audi A6.
A chilling image showed Brueckner wearing a red and white striped shirt as he sat in the rear seat with his hand up in the air.
Brueckner has refused to rule out fleeing Germany now that he is free, sparking fears he could slip into a non-extradition country and dodge justice forever – even if a major Maddie breakthrough is found.
Officials have tried all they can to keep track of him, with an electronic tag being mandated and the seizure of his passport.
But investigators still worry Brueckner could flee Germany despite his conditions due to no passport being required to move freely within mainland Europe.
If he crosses the German border, then it’s believed the tag would no longer work, making him untraceable.
But let’s be clear – while the German justice as a whole has allowed Brueckner to walk free, German prosecutors, the courts, and police forces can only work with the laws of their country, which appear to be stacked heavily in Maddie suspect’s favour.
This is the situation justice officials face in Germany.
In the UK, murder attracts an automatic whole-of-life sentence. Judges set a minimum tariff — usually 20–30 years, but it can be longer.
Whole-life terms are possible in the most serious cases, meaning a prisoner will never be released.
In Germany, most killers would expect to be released after just 15 years.
In the UK, violent rapists – such as Christian Brueckner – would expect to be jailed for up to 15 years – or longer if there are aggravating factors.
Post-release monitoring exists in almost every case, making it the rule rather than the exception.
In Germany, rapists can enjoy just two years behind bars, while those with longer sentences of up to ten years are usually released early.
German law offers no way back – no remedy after the case to protect its citizens from such a threat
Terrorists face life behind bars in the UK, but often just 10–15 years in Germany, again with early release after two-thirds of the sentence has been served.
Armed robbers get 10–20 years in the UK, but as little as just five years in Germany.
Madeleine McCann: Timeline of events
Here’s a timeline of the case which has gripped the world.
May 3, 2007
Madeleine McCann disappears from her family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, sparking a massive police search and becoming one of the most famous missing persons cases in history.
January 15, 2016
Neighbour reports a possible ‘grave’ at Christian Brueckner’s abandoned factory in East Germany.
Brueckner is convicted for abusing a girl of five in a park after images found on his laptop.
He was sentenced to 15-months behind bars but was already on the run by then.
May 3, 2017
Around this time, Helge B calls an information hotline after watching a ten-year anniversary special on the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
He reports an alleged confession by Brueckner.
September 27, 2018
On-the-run Brueckner is arrested over outstanding drugs claims in Italy.
He is extradited to Germany the following year.
December 16, 2019
Brueckner is convicted, in Germany, for the 2005 rape of an American woman in Praia da Luz, Portugal, after his DNA was matched to a hair found on her bed.
He is sentenced to seven years behind bars.
June 4, 2020
German prosecutors reveal to the world they have a suspect in custody under investigation for the abduction of Madeleine McCann.
In his first interview, witness Helge B alleges to German newspaper Bild that Brueckner all-but-confessed the Madeleine abduction to him, by allegedly saying “she didn’t scream” as they talked about the case, at a music festival, in Spain.
February 16, 2024
Brueckner goes on trial accused of rape and sexual assault, unrelated to the McCann’s case, in Braunschweig, Germany.
Prosecutors hope for a conviction to keep him behind bars permanently and lead to McCann charges.
Britain makes extensive use of probation, electronic tagging, Sexual Harm Prevention Orders, and lifelong licence conditions for high-risk offenders. Breaches can mean immediate recall to prison.
German authorities face a battle just to fit electronic tags – as shown by Brueckner’s case.
There are fewer conditions upon release – and sometimes none at all – and post-release monitoring can be as little as a weekly phone call, even for society-threatening offenders such as Brueckner.
It’s hard not to question the court’s attitude to that trial last year. It spent years trying to reject the case but was forced to take it on by a higher court and there has been private speculation over the bad blood of being forced to take such an unwanted case.
But experts have told me the judge did exactly her job and followed German law to the letter.
Perhaps her only mistake was failing to slap an order on Brueckner at his 2019 sentence that would have given officials the option to keep him behind bars, given the extraordinary danger he poses to the public.

The argument for Germany’s preoccupation with individual liberties over society protection is understandable.
The Weimar Republic, which Adolf Hitler hijacked for his own evil ends, used police and courts to design the society it wanted – turning the justice system into a tool of dictatorship, repression and mass murder.
Modern Germany built its constitution to avoid ever again allowing courts or police to be used as instruments of tyranny, enshrining individual rights and strict limits on state power.
That is a situation the wonderful, abundantly reasonable people of Germany never want repeated.
Germany is a brilliant, modern, rich, thriving, forward-thinking democracy – with problems Britain might gladly swap its own battles for.
The people are hardworking, friendly, intelligent – but also funny and laidback in a way that smashes the clichéd image the country has sometimes carried outside its borders.
It’s well recognised here, however, that the cost of all this seems to be a propensity to forgiveness and trust in its offenders.

Spanish cops have now released an image of James, in their desperate attempt to locate him.
He is pictured ordering food at the kebab joint wearing a blue T-shirt with his Jack Russell on his lap.
In one photograph, three diners appear to be enjoying a meal behind him as he stands at the checkout.
It comes as official records show James reported his passport as lost or stolen at the Irish Embassy on August 19 – a day after he was last seen or heard from.
At the time, his half-sister Nikita said: “We know he’d had a drink but as a family we don’t believe he would recklessly set sail in the dark at night,” she said.
“It doesn’t make sense for it to be ‘oh he fell overboard’ because he was drunk, there are a lot of holes in the story.”
Paddy’s Anchor previously shared appeals by James’ worried family on social media saying: “Many of you have been asking, so we want to share this post from Jemsie’s family.
“His sister is still searching for him after he was last seen here in Las Palmas.
CCTV Footage of last recorded sighting of missing British woman Sarm Heslop revealed in BBC documentary
“His boat has since been found off the coast of Gran Canaria, but there has been no contact from him since.”
A call was made between August 24 and 25 in relation to James’ boat as police found it a day later 50 miles offshore.
At first they said James’ Jack Russell, known as Thumbelina, wasn’t on board but later said she was found with the boat.
Timeline of James Nunan’s disappearance
August 18:
18:16: James films himself on Facebook Live walking at Playa del Confital beach
22:00: He is last seen leaving Paddy’s Anchor bar in Las Palmas
22:39: Bank records show he purchased food from Rico Doner Kebab
August 19: His passport is reported “lost or stolen” to an Irish consulate in Gran Canaria
August 22: James’ mum reports him missing to Essex Police
Between August 24/25: A call was made in relation to James’ boat
August 25: Police find his boat 50 miles off the south coast of Gran Canaria
August 27: Police say they have also found his dog Thumbelina
There remains no information on where James could be.
A witness came forward to claim he spoke to James as he said the Brit was drunk but not acting in any unusual manner.
He had reportedly told him about his sailing adventures and that he planned to head to Lanzarote.
Some pub staff also claimed they were told not to speak to anyone about his mysterious disappearance.
A man reportedly answered phone calls at the pub saying: “It’s an open investigation and we’ve been told not to speak to anyone and I’ve just got to go with that I’m afraid.”

James’ Jack Russell, known as Thumbelina, was found
Asked if it was local police or Mr Nunan’s family who had asked him not to speak, he said: “I can’t talk about it, sorry.”
After his boat was found with the dog on board, it was towed back to Argineguin in the south of Gran Canaria.
A spokesperson for the Civil Guard said: “We are looking into this case. Several lines of investigation are being pursued.”
Jemsie had been about five-and-a-half months into his solo sailing trip when he vanished – and had been planning to travel to Brazil.
Nikita added that a distress signal was sent out in relation to his boat between August 24 and 25.
The dog found on board has since been taken to an animal shelter.
Jemsie’s father has travelled to the island searching for any signs of the missing 34-year-old.
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office has confirmed it is “supporting the family of a British man who has been reported missing in Spain“.
The National Police in Las Palmas and court officials on the island have been approached for comment.

Tributes poured in for the couple
Cops immediately launched an investigation into the deaths and tests later concluded both died of methanol poisoning, believed to be linked to the tainted limoncello, according to Vietnamese police.
The barman who allegedly made the deadly drink was charged in February and remains detained while investigations continue.
Greta’s parents Paul, 71, and Susan, 70, visited the pair in Vietnam in November 24 – where they had been running a villa and renting rooms out to travellers.
During their stay, they ate at Good Morning Vietnam and enjoyed free shots of Limoncello at the end of their meal.
When they returned home, they decided to order a few bottles of the drink and have them delivered to the couple’s home as a Christmas gift – a decision they would later regret for the rest of their lives.
It was not long before Greta messaged her parents complaining she had the “worst hangover ever” and was suffering from “black spots” in her vision.
The couple reportedly tried to “sleep it off” instead of going to the doctors despite being urged to by pals.
They were found dead three days later in separate rooms of the villa by a cleaner.
The family said the wait for answers has been “unbearable”.
They have received no further update from police nor an apology from the restaurant.
Brit lawyer Simone White, 28, dies in ‘methanol-laced alcohol poisoning’ that left 4 others dead in backpacking hotspot
Paul told the BBC: “It’s about accountability”, adding “we can’t move on”.
Greta and Arno’s ashes are currently stored in two bags in the Ottesons’ home in Rhandirmwyn, Carmarthenshire – one has a pink bunny on top of it, the other a blue bear.
Parents, Paul and Susan, heartbreakingly revealed they can’t face laying them to rest until they have “received justice”.
They said: “Justice for us would be naming the people responsible and prosecuting them.”
TOXIC DRINK
The pair are said to have gone out for dinner on December 24, before returning back to the holiday villa which they own at around 10pm.
Two bottles of limoncello were waiting for them at the reception desk after being delivered earlier in the night by a different restaurant.
The business is said to be popular in the area and a photo of their menu online shows they offer the lemon liqueur at a cheap price.
They advertise a shot as costing 85,000 Vietnamese dong (£2.70) and, according to the menu, it is homemade.
It is unclear how methanol could have been inside the drinks.
The highly toxic industrial chemical is found in antifreeze and windscreen-washer fluid but also appears in some home-brewed or counterfeit alcohol.
HEARTBREAKING TRIBUTES
Greta and Arno Els Quinton passed away less than a month after the pair got engaged.
They had moved to Vietnam together and settled in Hoi An.
The happy couple had taken out a lease out on the gorgeous red-roofed Silverbell Villa where they were later found dead.
It featured a nine-bedroom guesthouse with a swimming pool and sat just ten minutes from Hoi An Ancient Town – a Unesco World Heritage site.
A heartfelt Instagram post on December 3, saw the pair officially announce their engagement to the world.
Days after their bodies were discovered the pair were featured in a touching engagement video posted to YouTube.
A filming studio posted a montage they had made of the pair to celebrate their marriage.
The video shows Greta and Arno, wearing white, dancing, walking hand-in-hand, and expressing the love they shared.
UKRAINIAN children abducted during the war are forced to make military equipment used against their homeland, chilling research reveals.
Thousands of innocent youngsters shipped to more than 200 sinister camps across Russia are being subjected to brainwashing and being used as pawns by deranged Vladimir Putin.

Sickenlingly, satelitte images shows children being used as slave labour to assemble drones and other supplies fuelling the tyrant’s war machine in Ukraine.
Military training has been observed at around 40 of the sites holding children as young as eight, including ceremonial parades and drills, and combat training.
Officials told The Sun it shows Kremlin stooges are teaching children to fight against their home, blasting their use as a “weapons” against Ukraine and beyond.
Daria Herasymchuck, advisor and commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Children’s Rights and Rehabilitation, told The Sun: “For those of us who have observed Putin’s actions up close for more than a decade, we are well accustomed to their evasion, distortion and calculated indifference.
“We are appalled by the large-scale, logistical and operational capacity Russia is operating in – using children, who are always the most vulnerable victims in armed conflicts, in such a way, is deliberately cruel.”
Since megalomaniac Putin invaded Ukraine in 2022, thousands of Ukrainian children have been kidnapped and sent to at least 210 facilities inside Russia and occupied territory.
These sites range from summer camps and sanatoriums to a military base, and, in one case, a monastery, according to research by the Yale School of Public Health’s Humanitarian Research Lab (HRL).
Russia is known to have engaged in the deportation, re-education, militarisation and forced adopting of Ukrainian children since at least 2014 from the occupied territories of Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk.
But since Putin’s ordered his troops in more than three years ago, researchers say these barbaric efforts have siginificantly expanded.
The HRL has used satellite imagery and open source materials to identify and track Ukrainian children snatched during the war.
Putin is a liar – no one should be fooled into believing he wants real peace, warns Ukraine’s deputy foreign minister
Its horrifying report, Ukraine’s Stolen Children: Inside Russia’s Network of Re-education and Militarization, reveals the staggering efforts Moscow goes to to brainwash these youngsters.
Children have been rounded up and moved to at least eight different location types.
These are cadet schools, a military base, medical facilities, a religious site, secondary schools and universities, a hotel, family support centers and orphanages, and camps and sanatoriums.
At least two new cadet schools have been constructed, and at least 49 of the 210 locations have been expanded since the start of the war.
Children are forced to develop “fire and naval training skills” at some sites as part of a warped militarisation campaign.
They are required to participate in “shooting competitions and grenade throwing competitions” as well as receive “tactical medicince, drone control and tactics” training.
In one instance, youngsters from Donetsk oblast received “airborne training” at a military base, the HRL’s report – shared with United Nations Security Council- reveals.
Children have also been used to help produced military equipment for Russia’s armed forces, including drones.
Herasymchuck, of Ukraine’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative, told The Sun: “The report shows Russia is prepared to use Ukraine’s own children as a ‘weapon’ against Ukraine, and Europe more broadly.
“They are being trained to fight against their own homeland.

“This is all part of Russia’s long-term campaign to erase the Ukrainian identity – central to this is the Russification and militarisation of Ukrainian children as the report outlines.”
Some youngsters have been held temporarily before returning home – while others have been held indefinitely.
As part of Putin’s callous regime to indoctrinate these children, many have been pushed into a network of so-called family centres.
Others have been pushed into Russia’s programme of coerced fostering and adoption – seeing them eventually placed within a Russian family.
For those who return home, Ukraine authorities have been told of the drastic work that has to be done to undo the damage.
Herasymchuck said: “Rehabilitation for children who return from deportation is one of the most sensitive and complex aspects of our work.
“These children have experienced not only physical displacement but also deep psychological trauma.
“When kids return, children often feel confused, disconnected, or afraid.
“These children have been taught not to resist. That is deeply alarming. Some carry guilt or shame. Others return with hostility or denial of their own identity.
“This is why our work does not end with bringing children home.
Children used as ‘weapons’
Exclusive by Katie Davis, Chief Foreign Reporter (Digital)
RUSSIA is using abducted and brainwashed children as “weapons”, one of Zelensky’s staff battling to rescue Ukraine’s kidnapped kids warned.
She warned Vladimir Putin‘s thugs are indoctrinating these youngsters and those living in Ukrainian territory under Russian control.
Bring Kids Back Ukraine operations director Daria said Moscow will push them into joining Russia’s army to use them as a “weapon” against Europe in the future.
Since Putin illegally invaded Ukraine three years ago, tens of thousands of children have been kidnapped and taken into Russia.
Sinister camps have been set up in Russia where children are sent before having their official documents altered and being placed in Russian families.
Often the children are told that their loved ones have abandoned them and that they are now part of the Russian Federation.
Mariana Betsa, Ukraine’s deputy foreign minister, told The Sun how some children have been abused and suffered sexual violence.
She said: “It’s not just a statistic, 20,000. It’s a life behind every person behind every statistic.
“We have so many families who were separated. We have so many children who were abducted.
“We need to return every single child.”
Presidential advisor Daria meanwhile warned Russia will use the children as a “weapon” against not only Ukraine, but the rest of Europe.
She said: “We are working on keeping this matter in the spotlight and we think that it is extremely important that it be a part of these talks because the Ukrainian children which Russia keeps under its control
“It’s a threat to global security, to Ukraine’s security.
“There are 1.6 million Ukrainian children currently staying in the temporarily occupied territories under the control of Russia.
“They’ve been indoctrinated, they’ve been militarised.”
“Under the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, Ukraine has built a reintegration system that provides each child with a tailored protection and recovery plan.
“Based on children’s needs, they receive medical care, psychological support, legal aid, safe housing, and access to education.”
Russia attempted to denounce the warrants as “outrageous and unacceptable”.
Lvova-Belova has attempted to portray the forced deportation of Ukrainian children as a Russian rescue mission since being appointed Putin’s children’s commissioner in 2021.

Graphic footage of Kirk’s death has been widely circulated online in the aftermath of the shocking attack.
But in Toronto, a teacher allegedly “traumatised” their class by showing school children the grisly clip.
The Corvette Junior Public School teacher, who has not been named, was relieved of their duties after the incident pending an investigation.
Kids aged 10 and 11 were made to watch the horrifying video of Kirk’s final moments, the Toronto Sun has reported.
The staff member is understood not to be the class’ regular teacher and was simply supervising the group that day.
Everything we know so far…
A source close to the situation told the paper: “Several students from his class went home and complained to their parents, traumatised at witnessing the on-camera death, which they were forced to witness numerous times over.
“Parents subsequently reached out to school administrators, who will be putting him on leave at the start of the school day September 12, 2025.”
They added: “While playing this video repeatedly, he gave a speech to his students regarding anti-fascism, anti-trans, and how Charlie Kirk deserved for this to occur.”

The school’s principal Jennifer Koptie sent a letter to the parents of the affected children to explain the situation.
It reads: “We are writing to inform you about an incident that is reported to have taken place in your child’s class yesterday.
“During class, students were said to have been shown a portion of a violent video in response to questions being asked about a recent tragic event in the United States.”
“The teacher has been relieved of all teaching responsibilities pending the outcome of the investigation and will not be at the school.”
Koptie added that the school is providing support to any kids who were traumatised by the video.
“The video is believed to have been shown once by a staff member supervising the class who is not the homeroom teacher,” she wrote.

“While an investigation must still be conducted to learn all of the details, the report of this incident is extremely troubling and completely unacceptable.
“We recognise the seriousness of this matter and have taken immediate steps to follow all appropriate policies and procedures.”
It is just one of several firings and suspensions across schools and universities in the wake of Kirk’s death.
After a grainy image was released during the probe, Robinson had reportedly joked that his “doppleganger” was on the loose.
On a Discord forum, he also mocked the police investigation, saying he had “better also get rid of this manifesto and exact copy rifle I have lying around”.
A firebrand conservative commentator, Charlie Kirk was perhaps best known for his key role in the pro-Trump think tank Turning Point USA.
Kirk was a hard-line supporter of President Donald Trump, who has pledged to attend the ceremony.

It comes as Moscow continues to barrage Ukraine with relentless drone strikes.
Poland, a member of the NATO alliance, shares a border with Ukraine and has been one of Kyiv’s key international backers.
Warsaw’s operational command shared the tense news in a post on X.
“Polish and allied aircraft are operating in our airspace, while ground-based air defence and radar reconnaissance systems have been brought to the highest state of readiness,” they said.
The Ukrainian Air Force earlier said on Telegram that Russian drones were tearing towards the city of Zamosc.
It is not clear how many drone entered Polish airspace.

Poland is a member state of NATO, giving it protections under the Article 5 mutual defence agreement.
This means that an attack on one member state is deemed an attack on all, obliging countries including the US, the UK and France to come to their aid if the clause is invoked.
Pressure is mounting on the United States and allies to impose deeper sanctions on Russia amid the intensifying onslaught.
Speaking on theWhite Houselawn after the attacks this weekend, Donald Trump said he’s “not happy with the whole situation”.
Sunday’s attack saw 805dronesand a dozen ballistic and cruise missiles fired at some of Ukraine‘s largest cities.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko told The New York Post the “barbaric attack proved we have to do whatever it takes to stop Russian war machine fuelled by oil andgasrevenue”.

A SUSPECTED Epstein victim claims she met Prince Andrew, sat on the Queen’s throne, and was taken inside Buckingham Palace, according to bombshell files from Jeffrey Epstein’s so-called “birthday book.”
The woman – whose name has been redacted – penned a glowing tribute to the disgraced financier for his 50th birthday in 2003, saying he had transformed her life.

The unidentified woman wrote Epstein transformed her life from a hotel hostess
9
The claims were made public in a 238-page ‘birthday book’ released by US officials
In the entry, the unidentified woman described how she had once been “a 22-year-old divorcee working as a hostess in a hotel restaurant” before meeting Epstein.
It is unclear who the woman is – but she describes the same circumstances of being lured in and jetted around the world that many of Epstein’s victims experienced.
She claimed: “I have met Prince Andrew, President Clinton, Sultan of Brunei, Donald Trump, Antonio Verglas, Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Peter Brant, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, brilliant scientists, lawyers and business men.”
The alleged victim went further, boasting she had “seen the private quarters of Buckingham Palace, sat on the Queen of England’s throne” and taken part in lavish adventures ranging from skydiving to attending a Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
The entry was accompanied by bikini shots of the woman on a beach – captioned in handwriting: “And thought you might like.. Some bikini Shots! Bye-bye! XX”.
It also featured a photo of a man and woman walking arm in arm with his hands stuffed down the back of her trousers.
A bold “Thank you!!!” was scrawled underneath.
In the same entry, she praised Epstein directly: “Jeffrey, there are no words to describe how much I appreciate and admire you.
“I believe you are the most extraordinary person I’ve ever met and can’t believe how lucky I am to have become a part of your life.”
New Epstein files FINALLY reveal ‘missing minute’ of prison footage showing movement near rapist’s cell before his death
The explosive claims were made public as part of a new tranche of documents released by the US House Oversight Committee.
It includes Epstein’s will, his infamous address book, and the 238-page “birthday book.”
The book, compiled for Epstein’s milestone birthday, contains messages and photographs from around 40 friends, colleagues and associates.
They were divided into categories such as “friends,” “business,” and “science.”
But names under “family” and “girl friends” were redacted.
Committee chairman James Comer said the release was part of a broader push to obtain full transparency around Epstein’s network, though he accused Democrats of “cherry-picking documents” for political purposes.

Other high-profile names appear in the collection, including entries attributed to Bill Clinton and Lord Peter Mandelson, who has since said he “very much regrets” ever being introduced to Epstein.
Epstein – the convicted sex offender whose connections stretched from royalty to Hollywood – died by suicide in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking.
Prince Andrew has long denied any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.
The “birthday book” revelations add fresh controversy to an already notorious royal link: it is known that Ghislaine Maxwell once posed on a throne at Buckingham Palace and that she and Epstein were invited to Balmoral, the late Queen’s Scottish retreat, as guests of Prince Andrew.
As for Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate from whom the “birthday book” originated, she’s currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.
In recent months, she was quietly transferred to a minimum-security federal prison camp in Texas following interviews with the Department of Justice.
Critics have slammed the move as unusually lenient.

THIS is the shocking moment a train slams into a double decker bus in Mexico – leaving ten dead and dozens injured.
A speeding freight train T-boned a coach full of people at a grade crossing in Atlacomulco, 80 miles northwest of Mexico City.

Footage shows the bus in a line of traffic on the Maravatío-Atlacomulco highway.
Cars in either direction have stopped at the train tracks – though a motorbike scoots across at the last moment.
The bus, from company Herradura de Plata, is at first stationary at the front of the queue.
But then it suddenly decides to move forward, as if trying to reach the other side before the train passes.
Just as it reaches the middle of the tracks, the train ploughs into the centre of the coach.
The entire bus folds and is carried along by the train, which continued for hundreds of metres.
Emergency teams rushed to the scene and were met by chaos and devastation.
A photo taken soon after the catastrophe shows the rear end of the bus with the roof totally blown off.
Passengers can be seen cowering in the open air.
Ambulance crews from multiple regions as well as the Red Cross worked on the injured and helped extract survivors from the wreckage.

Despite their best efforts, ten people died and another 45 were injured.
The authorities have launched an investigation into what happened.
The bus, marked number 6002, was travelling from San Felipe del Progreso to Mexico City.
Its driver’s decision to move onto the tracks seem inexplicable from the footage.
Canadian Pacific Kansas City of Mexico, the train line, confirmed the accident and sent its condolences to the families of the victims.
City officials in Atlacomulco asked residents to refrain from going to the site of the collision and offered their condolences to the families of the victims who died.
A statement posted to social media read: “We express our sincere solidarity to the families affected at this time.”

Last week, at least 15 people were killed after a packed tourist bus plunged off a mountain road in Sri Lanka.
The bus crashed into another vehicle before smashing through guardrails.
The fatal accident took place near the town of Wellawaya in the mountainous Ella region which sits just 174 miles east of the capital Colombo.
Sixteen others, including five children, on board were injured but managed to escape the wreckage.
Police confirmed the group was made up of local tourists who had been visiting lush tea plantation hill towns in the area.

INFAMOUS mushroom murderer Erin Patterson has been sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of “horrendous” triple murder.
She will serve at least 33 years behind bars after receiving three life sentences and a 25-year sentence concurrently, with a non-parole period of 33 years.

Justice Christopher Beale handed down the life sentence
The 11-week trial earlier this year gripped Australia like no other – and has now been put to bed as Justice Christopher Beale handed down the sentence at Victoria’s Supreme Court.
For the first time in history, the supreme court allowed TV cameras into the courtroom to broadcast the sentencing live.
In court, Beale said he agreed Patterson should receive life imprisonment – but the “main dispute” was whether she should be afforded the possibility of parole.
He recounted the trial evidence before concluding that the murders involved “substantial premeditation”.
Describing the toll of the triple murders on the families, Justice Beale said: “Four generations of the extended Patterson and Wilkinson families have been traumatised by your crimes.”
He added: “Your failure to exhibit any remorse pours salt into all the victims’ wounds.”
Patterson, 50, was given a life sentence for each of the murders of Don and Gail Patterson, the parents of her estranged husband, Simon, and his aunt, Heather Wilkinson.
Both the prosecution and the defence agreed Patterson should receive a life sentence for her crime, described by Beale as “horrendous”.
Prosecutors had called for Patterson to be denied the chance of ever walking out, while her defence argued she should retain the possibility of parole.
‘Mushroom killer’ Erin Patterson GUILTY of murdering three relatives with deadly beef wellington
Colin Mandy SC, defending, previously said Beale should consider the tough conditions Patterson will naturally suffer as such a notorious criminal.
Patterson has spent most of her days since her arrest in November 2023 in isolated in her cell – which Beale previously said “doesn’t sound very humane”.
He took this – along with the added danger she faces due to her notoriety – into account when deciding on the details of the sentence.
Patterson pleaded not guilty to all the charges and claimed the deaths were a tragic accident.
She now has until October 6 to lodge an appeal against her conviction or sentence or both.

Fascination with the case was off the charts across Australia.
Journalists from around the world descended on the tiny town of Morwell – where the trial was held in one of Australia‘s smallest courtrooms.
Patterson was tried there, rather than in Melbourne, at her own request.
Every day of the trial from April 29 to July 7, reporters jostled for the six media seats in the courtroom and hopeful spectators queued out of the door.
Described as “a ritual, habitual and pathological liar”, Patterson’s story unravelled in the dock and impossible contradictions tripped her up.
11
Ian told the court that Erin sensationally claimed to have been diagnosed with cancer during the lunch – something she later denied.
She also initially told police she did not own a food dehydrator and had not gone foraging for mushrooms – later claiming in court these lies had been a “knee-jerk” reaction.
Incredibly, Ian said last month that he had forgiven Patterson for trying to kill him.
He said in a victim statement her felt “half alive” without Heather by his side – but insisted he harbours no “ill will” against Patterson.

Ian added: “Now I am no longer Erin Patterson’s victim, and she has become the victim of my kindness.”
Simon said Erin’s crimes had robbed their 16-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter of “the kind of relationship with their mother that every child yearns for”.
The Deadly Dish
In July 2023, Patterson gathered together her ex-husband Simon’s relatives for a Saturday lunch at her home in Leongatha, Victoria.
She served up a beef wellington containing death cap mushrooms, and her guests soon fell violently ill.
Her former in-laws, Don and Gail Patterson and Gail’s sister, Heather Wilkinson all died within a week.
Pastor Ian Wilkinson was the only person – other than Patterson – who survived the deadly lunch.
But he was left in critical condition and spent almost two months being treated in the Austin Hospital – including time spent in a coma.
Simon had also been invited to the lunch but he declined, texting her the night before that he felt “uncomfortable” about it all.

THIS is the moment a passenger is dragged off a Ryanair plane after sparking a bloody brawl.
He reportedly attempted to yank open the emergency door mid-air during the flight from Bournemouth to Girona, Spain, on Thursday.

The plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Toulouse, France, so the troublemaker could be booted off.
Footage from the runway in Toulouse shows four cops carrying the bloke, who is lying limp and handcuffed in their arms.
They dump him down onto the tarmac as others stand guard.
The man – seen in a white t-shirt and orange shorts – apparently burst out with: “I want to go,” before making a beeline for the plane’s door.
Other passengers – realising he was intent on opening the hatch – jumped to stop him and a scrap followed.
The unidentified man allegedly spat and threw punches at fellow passengers before he was pinned to the floor.
A seatbelt was even bound around his legs to immobilise the troublemaker.
After being plonked back into a seat, he is said to have aimed a headbutt at a pensioner sitting next to him.
Other passengers broke down in tears and even suffered panic attacks in the face of his aggression.
One witness said: “The whole event was very traumatic.
Dramatic moment armed cops drag boozy Brit stag do louts off Ryanair jet
“The man had gone into the toilet and then afterwards was trying opening one of the emergency exit doors.
“He then went to try the other shouting ‘I want to go.’
“That’s when a huge brawl started with a lot more than one man trying to get him away from the doors.
“There was a big punch up and he then finally got taken down in the isle and was pinned to the floor where they then managed to get a seatbelt extender round his ankles to stop him kicking.”
Fellow passenger David Malone said: “They started brawling in the middle of the plane.
“It went on for about 30 minutes and one guy was completely off his head, it took about three people to restrain him.
“It was horrible, there was blood everywhere there were people screaming and crying.
“It was horrible, disgusting really. It made you ashamed to be British to be honest.
“It’s sad really, I felt sorry for the staff. Something needs to be done about the amount of alcohol they allow people to consume at the airport.”
It’s understood the man had been fighting with another person in his group before heading for the doors.
After the man had been removed, the plane continued on to Girona, landing around two hours behind schedule.
A spokesperson for Ryanair said: “This flight from Bournemouth to Girona (4 Sept) was diverted to Toulouse after a passenger became disruptive onboard.
“Crew called ahead for police assistance, who met the aircraft upon landing at Toulouse Airport and offloaded this passenger before this flight continued to Girona.
“Ryanair has a strict zero tolerance policy towards passenger misconduct and will continue to take decisive action to combat unruly passenger behaviour, ensuring that all passengers and crew travel in a respectful and stress-free environment, without unnecessary disruption.”

Gibbon and Jasmine Wyld, 33, got into a heated drunken row when on holiday together in Florida last month.
The grandad from Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, was initially accused of attempted murder after repeatedly holding Ms Wyld’s head underwater in a hotel pool, according to police.
It was later revealed the pair had been in a relationship for some time before the incident.
At a court hearing last week, the second degree attempted murder charge Gibbon was facing was downgraded to a charge of battery by strangulation.
And after almost a month behind bars, the Brit was allowed to leave his Florida jail cell after making bail.
Court records obtained by the Daily Mail show Gibbon met the terms of the £18,500) bail over the battery by strangulation charge.
He also had to pay £700 bail on a second charge of simple battery.
Last night a police spokesman confirmed: “Mr Gibbon has been in Polk County Jail since his arrest on August 3 because he was considered a flight risk.
“He was granted bail but has to wear an ankle monitor, surrender his passport and stay within a restricted area.”
Gibbon is due back in court later this month with his trial expected to take place early next year.
He faces up to 15 years in jail if convicted on the battery by strangulation charge.
Investigators are continuing to look into the allegations first made by Ms Wyld in August.
A RUSSIAN oligarch’s estranged wife has won a six-year fight to drag her divorce battle into the English courts.
Natalia Potanina secured a landmark Court of Appeal ruling on Thursday to sue her billionaire ex-husband Vladimir Potanin, who is said to be worth around £15.7billion.

Potanin is described as Russia’s second richest man and a pal of Vladimir Putin through their shared love of ice hockey.
Potanin is the chief executive of Norilsk Nickel, the world’s largest palladium producer and a global nickel giant.
But he was sanctioned by the UK and US in 2022 after Putin’s brutal invasion of Ukraine.
The former couple wed in Russia in 1983, where they lived for their entire married life and raised three children.
They split in acrimonious fashion, with Potanin claiming the marriage ended in 2007.
Potanina insists they only separated in 2013, with a Russian court finalising the divorce a year later.
She said at first she thought it was a “badly-worded joke” but was later told she “didn’t need money” when the subject of a financial settlement arose.
The pair first met as penniless students in the 1970s, when Russia was still under communism.
Potanina argues that her husband only built his fortune after their marriage, and that she supported him throughout his rise.
Putin’s icy encounter with rival at China parade may reveal his NEXT target
Despite his £15billion fortune, Potanina was awarded just £30.9million in the Russian courts – less than one per cent of the family wealth.
Lawyers for Potanin argue she actually received around £63m, but she insists the sum barely scratched the surface of their assets.
Now, after years of legal wrangling, Potanina has been cleared to bring a claim in London for financial relief – setting the stage for what could become the world’s biggest-ever marital split.
She is seeking half of her ex-husband’s beneficial interest in shares in Norilsk Nickel, along with half of the dividends paid on those shares since 2014.
She also wants half the value of a lavish Moscow mansion known as The Autumn House, on which the couple splashed out around £111million.
She is thought to be seeking around £5billion in total.
At the heart of earlier disputes was the couple’s palatial family home in Nemchinovo, 17 miles west of Moscow, where they lived with their three children – daughter Anastasia, and sons Ivan and Vasily.
Also up for grabs were two superyachts, including “The Anastasia,” named after their daughter, and “The Nirvana.”
Potanina’s legal team told the court she had earned her share of the fortune through years of marriage and by being the “main carer” of their children.
Her barrister, Charles Howard KC, branded the earlier dismissal of her case “inconsistent and illogical,” accusing the judge of falling into Potanin’s trap of repeatedly labelling her a “divorce tourist.”
Potanin’s lawyers, led by Lord Faulks KC, countered that the couple had “no connection with this jurisdiction during the marriage” and that Potanina only had “recent and modest connections” to England when she applied.
London’s High Court originally threw out her claim in 2019, warning that allowing it would mean “no limit to divorce tourism.”
That decision was overturned in 2021 by the Court of Appeal, only for Potanin to win a narrow 3-2 victory in the Supreme Court last year, which sent the case back to be reconsidered.
Now, judges Lord Justice Moylan, Lady Justice Falk and Lord Justice Cobb have sided with Potanina once again, ruling she had “substantial grounds” to pursue her claim in England.

They said there was evidence she had “very largely severed her ties with Russia” and that her connection to the country was “increasingly tenuous.”
The ruling added: “The discrepancy between her award of the marital assets and the husband’s retained share was significant.
“The discrepancy between what she had recovered in Russia compared with what she would have recovered had the case been heard in this jurisdiction was equally significant.”
She said at the time to be fearing that if she returned to Russia her passport could be seized, preventing her from visiting her son studying in New York.
She also accused her husband of offering her only medical insurance, a driver, and maintenance for their youngest child, rather than a fair settlement.
The blockbuster ruling reignites fears that London will become the “divorce capital of the world.”
Jennifer Headon, head of international family law at Birketts LLP, said the High Court had already warned such a move could open the floodgates to “limitless” divorce tourism.
Sarah Jane Lenihan, partner at Dawson Cornwell, said few had expected such an outcome, asking: “The question now is whether it will open the door for others who have divorced overseas to seek a second bite at the cherry in England.”
Sital Fontenelle, head of family law at Kingsley Napley LLP, said the ruling reinforced the UK’s status as the “divorce capital of the world” and left the “door still open” for future claims.
Peter Burgess, partner at Burgess Mee, added that aspiring “divorce tourists” might now wait to demonstrate their links to England at a full hearing rather than being knocked back early.
She has previously said her situation reflects the discrimination faced by many women in Russia, where “the law is male, the ideology is male,” adding that she had been “deprived of money and driven out of the house.”
Potanina’s solicitor, Frances Hughes of Hughes Fowler Carruthers, hailed the ruling as a “second vindication” of her client’s case, saying Potanina was delighted and now hoped the matter could be “resolved without further delay.”

A TOP Putin crony has warned the Kremlin might seize the “valuables of the British Crown” if the UK supports Ukraine with money from frozen Russian assets.
Ex-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev accused “British thieves” of giving Russian money to “neo-Nazis” in a deranged rant on social media.

It comes after Britain announced a fresh £1 billion support package for Ukraine’s fight against Moscow.
The money for this aid boost was raised using frozen Russian assets, Defence Secretary John Healey revealed.
But in a chilling post on Telegram, Medvedev, now deputy chairman of Russia’s security council, threatened revenge from Moscow.
In his bizarre ramblings, he even referred to Foreign Secretary David Lammy as an “English idiot”.
Close Putin ally Medvedev accused Britain of giving Russian money to “neo-Nazis” – in reference to a false Kremlin claim that Ukraine is run by Nazis.
“Consequences? Britain committed an offence,” he posted.
“But given that this money cannot be recovered through legal proceedings for obvious reasons, our country has only one way to return the valuables.
“Return what was seized in kind.”
He further threatened to take hold of additional Ukrainian land “and movable property located on it”.
Medvedev has long been one of Moscow’s most vocal cheerleaders for Russia’s monstrous invasion of Ukraine.
Defiant Defence Sec ‘sends two finger signal’ to ‘weaker than ever’ Putin from Ukraine in midst of Russian missile blitz
The Putin lackey added that the Kremlin would respond to any “illegal seizure” of frozen funds by “confiscating the valuables of the British Crown”.
“There are still enough of them in different places, including those located in Russia,” he said.
The UK and other Western nations have imposed bruising sanctions on Russia since Putin ordered his forces to invade Ukraine.
Medvedev’s comments come as members of the pro-Kyiv “Coalition of the Willing” held talks yesterday over future security guarantees for the war-torn nation.
Around 30 leaders came to Paris or joined via video link to hash out plans for what comes next if a peace deal is reached.
British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer was among those to join the summit remotely.
A Downing Street spokesman said: “The Prime Minister emphasised that the group had an unbreakable pledge to Ukraine, with President Trump’s backing.
“And it was clear they now needed to go even further to apply pressure on Putin to secure a cessation of hostilities.
“The Prime Minister also welcomed announcements from coalition of the willing partners to supply long-range missiles to Ukraine to further bolster the country’s supplies.”
Medvedev’s ramblings are not the only recent threats against Britain from Kremlin mouthpieces.
Another Putin propagandist has threatened to sink the UK with a new high-speed torpedo.
Vladimir Solovyov called for a Poseidon nuclear torpedo to unleash a tidal wave over Britain and drown the entire population.
He said on Russian state television: “I am not calling for anything, about anything, in any way, I am simply stating – the British say their task is to inflict strategic defeat on us.
“Well, let them say it from underwater.”

A BRAZILIAN model has revealed how a hidden tumour made her shoot up to almost seven feet tall – and how her shorter partner won her over.
Elisane Silva, 26, from Salinopolis, stands at a staggering six foot eight and towers over her five-foot-four husband, Francinaldo Da Silva Carvalho, 31.

She towers over her five-foot-four husband Francinaldo

Despite bullying, Elisane now embraces her height and pursues a modelling career
But she admitted their nearly two-foot height gap doesn’t faze them – in fact, he was the one to win her over.
Elisane said: “Since I was 10 years old, I always noticed that there wasn’t something quite right as I was the only one in my family and class that stood at a staggering five feet nine inches.”
Her parents, Ana Maria Ramos and Luiz Jorge, were left stunned.
“My mother is only five feet four inches and my father is just five feet seven inches, so it was a shock to our entire family when I was the tallest member at so young,” she explained.
By age 10, Elisane was suffering painful pressure in her bones and head as she continued to grow at an alarming rate.
A doctor recommended tests, but her family couldn’t afford them.
Then a national TV network stepped in, offering to cover her medical bills if she told her story on air.
“A national television network approached my family after hearing my story, and in 2010, we flew to Sao Paulo, Brazil, where I appeared on national television and had all my tests done for free on behalf of the network,” she recalled.
“Although this was embarrassing, I was just glad to finally have an answer and to stop the pain that I was going through as a result of my height.”
Fans stunned at size of Newcastle’s Isak replacement Nick Woltemade as he dwarfs over Liverpool star
Doctors discovered a benign tumour on her pituitary gland, which had triggered an overproduction of growth hormone – a condition known as gigantism.
But while Elisane had answers, school became unbearable.
Classmates bullied her mercilessly, calling her “tower” and “giant.”
“I remember locking myself up at home as I felt so sick with the hurtful comments and words people were constantly saying to me,” she said.
“I decided to give up and it was the hardest decision I have ever had to make, as I wanted to continue studying, but I knew that I wouldn’t last any longer in that environment.
“At the time, I was 17 years old, so my parents didn’t have much to say on the matter and I was really lost about where to go next in life.”
Everything changed when she met Francinaldo in 2011.
“I fell for him right there and then, as he was the first person to treat me like a human being and not some freak of nature,” she said.
“Although there is an obvious height difference, we don’t see it as an issue as we love each other just the way we are and wouldn’t want anything to change.”
The couple got engaged quickly and tied the knot in September 2015. They later welcomed their son, Angelo, now three.

Elisane found love with Francinaldo, who is five foot four and embraced her for who she is and not her height
“We used to get comments from people in the street when we were walking together, I’m no longer the center of attention now we have our beautiful son,” Elisane said.
Angelo is already three foot three, but Elisane doesn’t believe he’ll inherit her towering stature.
“I don’t believe he will grow to be as tall as me because I don’t think my condition is hereditary,” she explained.
“I think he will grow up to be average height – but even if not, he should embrace the unique asset he has been given.”
After years of shame, Elisane now embraces her frame and is pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a professional model.
“Although I haven’t been successful just yet, I usually go out and take professional photos of myself and add it to my portfolio to pass on to agencies,” she said.
“Despite no agencies picking up on them yet, these photo sessions have helped my levels of confidence immensely and I have started to love myself for who I am.”
While she’s been branded the “tallest woman in Brazil” online, Elisane says it’s not an official title – though she’s learned to wear the label with pride.
“I have learned to love myself for my unique height, as there’s no one quite like me and I think that’s rather special,” she said.
“I have found a good man to love, have a wonderful son, a beautiful family, and I am grateful that God has taught me to overcome these obstacles in life.
“Don’t let people’s evil comments interfere with your life, as it’s not for them to judge you based on how you look or who you love – stay true to yourself and you’ll live happily.”

Washington designates Venezuela’s Tren de Agarua gang as a Maduro-backed terror group.
President Donald Trump, 79, confirmed US forces attacked the boat, killing 11.
Speaking from the Oval Office today, Trump said: “Over the last few minutes we just shot out a drug carrying boat, a lot of drugs on that boat.
“You’ll be seeing that, it just happened moments ago, our Great General and head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who has been so incredible, including what took place in Iran knocking out potential nuclear power, I think within a month they would have had it if we didn’t do what we did.

“And there’s more where that came from. There’s a lot of drugs pouring into our country. These came out of Venezuela, a lot of things are coming out of Venezuela. We took it out.”
Meanwhile Secretary of State Marco Rubio posted on X: ” The US military conducted a lethal strike… against a drug vessel which had departed from Venezuela and was being operated by a designated narco-terrorist organization.”
A senior defense official confirmed further information on the “precision strike” would “be made available at a later time.”
This comes amid rising tension between Caracas and Washington.
Last week the US leader sent warships to Venezuela as the country’s dictator moved 15,000 troops to the border with Colombia.
Three US destroyers and 4,000 marines are sailing towards the South American coastline as tensions skyrocket.
Trump has accused President Nicolas Maduro of “mass murder, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, and acts of violence and terror across the United States and Western Hemisphere”.
The White House previously accused the Tren de Aragua of having “unlawfully infiltrated the United States and are conducting irregular warfare and undertaking hostile actions against the United States.”
The 1798 Act was last used to justify the internment of Japanese-American civilians during World War 2.
The Alien Enemies Act of 1798 gives gargantuan levels of authority to the Republican to target and remove undocumented immigrants.
It is designed as a law to be invoked if the US is at war with another country or a nation has invaded the US or threatened to do so.
The proclamation called for all of those subject to the measure to be arrested, detained and removed immediately.
Trump said in a proclamation: “All Venezuelan citizens 14 years of age or older who are members of TdA, are within the United States, and are not actually naturalized or lawful permanent residents of the United States are liable to be apprehended, restrained, secured, and removed as Alien Enemies.”
But, a judge quickly blocked Trump from invoking the act and ordered any flights carrying the gang members to turn around with the order now set for a battle through the courts.
Tren de Aragua is a transnational criminal organisation and U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization from Venezuela.
Believed to have over 5,000 members, Homeland Security officials labeled the group “high-threat,” according to US media reports.
In comments after the strike today, the US president wrote on X: “Earlier this morning, on my Orders, Military Forces conduced a kinetic strike against positively identified Tren de Aragua Narcoterrorists in the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility.
“TDA is a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization, operating under the control of Nicolas Maduro, responsible for mass murder, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, and acts of violence and terror across the United States and Western Hemisphere.
“The strike occurred while the terrorists were at sea in International waters transporting illegal narcotics, heading to the United States.
“The strike resulted in 11 terrorists killed in action. No US Forces were harmed in this strike.
“Please let this serve as a notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America. BEWARE! Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
The president appeared on Tuesday to announce that U.S. Space Command headquarters will move from Colorado to Alabama.
He was then asked if he had seen the viral claims that he was no longer living.
“Really? I didn’t see that. That’s pretty serious!” Trump said, before insisting he had been busy behind the scenes.
“I did numerous interviews and had some pretty poignant posts on my social media site. I was very active over the weekend,” he added, noting that he also visited “some people” at his golf club in Sterling, Virginia.
The press conference had been called to announce that U.S. Space Command headquarters will move from Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Huntsville, Alabama — a reversal of Joe Biden’s 2023 decision to keep the base in Colorado.
Trump originally reestablished Space Command in 2018, saying its mission was to defend U.S. interests in space.

Towns in the province of Kunar, near Jalalabad, were near the epicentre.
The Kunar Disaster Management Authority said in a statement that at least 250 people were killed and 500 others injured in the districts of Nur Gul, Soki, Watpur, Manogi and Chapadare.
Rescuers are working in several districts of the mountainous province where the quake hit.
Officials have said the terrain is making it tricky to reach survivors – and they expect the death toll to rise.
The 6.0 magnitude quake struck at 11:47pm, 17 miles northeast of Jalalabad, according to the US Geological Survey,
Its epicentre was 5 miles below ground.
There was a second earthquake in the same province about 20 minutes later, with a magnitude of 4.5 and a depth of 6.2 miles.
This was later followed by a 5.2 earthquake at the same depth.

In jaw-dropping footage, the child can be seen teetering along the edge of the rail track.
Shocker onlookers gathered around as the horrifying events unfolded.
It happened at the park in Hershey, Pennsylvania on Saturday.
Visitors frantically waved at the kid as he walked along the lofty monorail tracks.
“Go to him now!”, someone can be heard shouting as a man jumps from a roof onto the tracks.
The kid had already been reported missing by his parents at around 5pm.
He had entered a secure area for the monorail ride, Hersheypark said according to ABC 7.
The kid was reportedly at the monorail station for some 20 minutes before walking onto the track.
One of the park guests eventually got onto the tracks and rescued the child.
Park officials reunited the kid with his parents at around 5.30pm.

The 53-year-old man from the Philippines lost consciousness on the beloved Frozen Ever After ride at the theme park in Hong Kong on Friday.
His wife noticed that he had fallen into a coma on the ride and immediately notified staff.
First-aid responders rushed to the scene as the ride returned to its starting point and performed CPR.
The holidaymaker was taken to North Lantau Hospital but sadly was pronounced dead shortly after at 11:30am local time.
A spokesperson for Disneyland Hong Kong said: “The resort deeply regrets the passing of the guest and will do its utmost to provide necessary assistance to his family.
“The initial investigation has shown the incident is not related to ride safety.”

But state media propagandist Vladimir Kornilov said today on Telegram: “It is suspected that she took her son to Russia.
“This, of course, is not yet a fact.
“But if this is indeed the case, it seems to me that we must do everything possible to protect the mother’s right to be with her Russian child.
“Well, if London can call him British, why can’t I call him Russian by the same logic?”
He added: “How [do] you determine that the boy is British if his mother might think otherwise?”

Oliver is described as being 2ft 7in tall, with blond hair and distinctive grey eyes.
Spain‘s National Police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
A spokesperson said: “We are treating this as a parental abduction.
“We believe the mother has left Spain and has taken the boy to her homeland, which is Russia.”
Neither the mother or the father has been named.
The Foreign Office is “supporting the family of a British child who has been reported missing in Spain”.
Diplomats have been in contact with the Spanish authorities.
It is unclear whether the child has joint Russian citizenship, or whether an international arrest warrant has been issued for the mother.
Russia always refuses to extradite its own citizens.
Spain’s Ministry of Interior published a picture of Oliver shortly after his disappearance.
He is last believed to have been seen in Marbella on July 4.
Russian extradition to the West
RUSSIAN extradition laws prohibit the extradition of Russian citizens, as mandated by Article 61 of the Constitution.
This creates significant barriers for Western countries seeking extradition.
Extradition is only possible through international agreements or federal laws, but Russia does not extradite individuals for political crimes or non-criminal acts under its law.
Treaties like the European Convention on Extradition are limited by constitutional restrictions.
Russia and Western countries often lack extradition treaties, such as with the US and the UK.
Concerns over human rights and fair trials further complicate extradition efforts.
Western nations frequently reject Russian extradition requests, citing political motives and poor detention conditions.
This has led to strained relations and reduced cooperation in legal matters.
Extradition remains largely one-sided, with Russia rarely extraditing individuals to the West.
Meanwhile, Western countries are increasingly resistant to extraditing individuals to Russia.
THIS is the dramatic moment Ukrainian drones destroy two Russian bridges used by troops as a key supply route.
The crossings in the Belgorood region were obliterated when two “cheap” drones struck a stash of Vlad’s mines hidden beneath them.

They discovered piles of mines under the bridges
Video shows the device locking in its target before descending on the bridge.
As a whole stretch of the deck explodes, flames and clouds of thick smoke balloon into the air.
Surrounding trees and forest land are blown up in its path.
Ukraine’s 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, which conducted the operation told CNN they had taken a closer look at the bridge after “it became clear that something was going on there”.
When they sent a drone to the area, they discovered a huge pile of anti-tank mines and other ammunition.
The bridges were mined as they were of key strategic importance to Putin.
Lining them with explosives gave him the option of suddenly blowing them up in case of a Ukrainian advance.
This isn’t the first time Ukraine has demolished Russian crossings.
Just a couple months ago, Ukraine blitzed Russia’s iconic Kerch bridge with more than a tonne of underwater mines.
The pre-dawn blast sent a plume of water erupting into the sky.
Putin launches missiles and drones attack in night of hell for Ukraine with dozens of explosions rocking Kharkiv
Ukraine‘s SBU intelligence service said the blast left the bridge in an “emergency state” after devastating its foundations.
It was at least the third attempt to destroy the key road and rail link from Russia to occupied Crimea.
The same SBU special forces unit behind Sunday’s historic drone strikes in Russia claimed responsibility for the pre-dawn attack.
They claimed their agents spent months mining the substructure of the 12 mile road and rail link.
This came as Ukrainian special forces blew Vladimir Putin’s bridges to pieces last year using US-made missiles.
Incredible footage showed a series of attacks with Himars rockets in Russia‘s border region as Kyiv marches on with its brave advance into Kursk.
According to Kyiv, important Russian equipment was destroyed along with Vlad’s bridges.
Video also showed Ukrainian Defence Forces demolishing Russian field munitions, fuel depots, a radio-electronic warfare complex, and a 152-mm D-20 gun, a Ukrainian military officer told the Kyiv Post.
