THIS is the terrifying moment a helicopter crashes onto a freeway just feet away from shocked drivers in California.
Three people on board are in a critical condition after the Airbus lost control before plunging towards the busy road and smashing into the ground.

Footage showed the chopper flying low above Highway 50 near Howe Avenue in Sacramento.
Within seconds it started plummeting towards the ground with huge plumes of smoke seen billowing across the highway as it smashed.
Pictures from after the crash shows the medical helicopter upside down in the middle of the road.
Smashed glass and debris can be seen strewn across the highway as firefighters and cops surround the wreckage.
Motorist Davyd Bychkoviak was driving past just after 7pm local time (3am UK time) as the helicopter spiralled through the air.
Mr Bychkoviak said: “I’m still shaking. It was a brush with death.
“The helicopter crashed inches away from me. The dust kicked up into my face, and I could feel the wind of the propellers in the car.
“If it had crashed on the road there would have been multiple fatalities.”
The Sacramento Fire Department and Federal Aviation Administration said the helicopter went down on the eastbound lanes of Highway 50 near Howe Avenue.
They added that it was a helicopter that provides air medical services.
REACH Air Medical Services later confirmed to ABC7 news that three of its crew were hurt in the crash.
Captain Justin Sylvia, from the Sacramento Fire Department, confirmed three people were “transported in critical condition” to local hospitals.
These included two females and a male made up of a pilot, nurse and paramedic.
No patient was on board at the time of the disaster, Captain Sylvia added.
Speaking at a press conference today he said: “There was one victim that was trapped underneath the helicopter… [with] the help of just civilians that were standing around, they were able to lift part of that helicopter out and get that victim out.
“There’s a pretty large debris field around that at this point.
“The lucky portion for us, I’d say, is the fact that the helicopter did not catch on fire.”

A DEVASTATED family ripped apart by the death of their beloved son in the Idaho murder tragedy was forced to quickly move on from unimaginable heartbreak in less than five months for the sake of their surviving children.
Ethan Chapin, 20, was a triplet and one of Bryan Kohberger’s four victims in the sickening University of Idaho knife attack in November 2022.

Brave mom, Stacy, opened up her heart to The U.S. Sun at Crimecon last month about the nightmare of dealing with her beloved, fun-loving son being murdered with the world at his feet.
She stressed that even though sick Kohberger will rot behind bars for the rest of his life after eventually pleading guilty to the savage killings of Ethan, Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves and Xana Kernodle, her family aren’t interested in the reasons why.
But Stacy, who has thrown herself into vitally important advocacy work in the wake of her son’s shocking death, has revealed there was no time for her and husband Jim to wallow in misery.
With Ethan’s brother and sister, Maizie and Hunter, who were on campus on that fateful evening, recently completing their own studies, the couple made the decision to somehow come to terms with the tragedy and move on for the sake of the remaining triplets’ future.
Read more on Bryan Kohberger
She says a heart-heart with Jim over a cup of morning coffee helped them realize that the best way forward was to “just get up and live life.”
They will never forget their beloved son, who they joked was minoring in Bud Light Lime and Taco Bell.
But with his brother and sister needing their parents more than ever to deal with the aftermath of Ethan’s senseless killing, Stacy and Jim vowed to honor his memory by ensuring Maizie and Hunter have their unconditional attention and support.
“We just decided that you can lose yourself in grief, “ Stacy told The U.S. Sun.
“We had to do that for Ethan’s siblings. They didn’t deserve parents who had potentially gone in the tank or lost themselves.
“We made a decision on a day in March of 2023that we couldn’t change the outcome, and we had to still live our life and be great parents to Maizie and Hunter, giving them the best life they deserved.”

BRAVE FACE
The Chapin’s were the only family to abstain from attending Kohberger’s sentencing hearing earlier this summer.
They didn’t want to subject themselves to any more pain.
Once the deranged Washington State graduate admitted to his heinous crimes, that at least removed the prospect of Ethan’s brother and sister having to take the stand and retrace the moments leading up to the sickening murders in a potential retrial.
Kohberger has never revealed why he cut short the lives of the four students.
Stacy admits she won’t waste any time wondering why.
The agony remains and will never leave her. Seeing her children recover from the nightmare and thrive, however, fills her and husband with hope.
“I would be lying if I didn’t say there are still tough moments,” Stacy continued.
“But even now, every day feels like we’re a little bit closer to our new normal, whatever that looks like. Our kids are doing great.
“They’ve also persevered in a way that amazes me as a mom. They were there that day. They all went to college together; they spent every second together.
“The fact that they went back to school and graduated and are now looking at their careers. I couldn’t be more proud of them.”
Kohberger avoided the death penalty upon pleading guilty on July 23 and was hit with four consecutive life sentences.
The full details of Bryan Kohberger’s sentence
On July 23, 2025, Judge Steven Hippler sentenced Bryan Kohberger to the following:
Count 1: Burglary – 10 years fixed, zero years in determinate. $50,000 fine.
Count 2: First-degree murder of Madison Mogen: Fixed term of life in prison without the possibility of parole. $50,000 fine and civil penalty of $5,000 payable to the family of the victim.
Count 3: First-degree murder of Kaylee Goncalves: Fixed term of life in prison without the possibility of parole. $50,000 fine and civil penalty of $5,000 payable to the family of the victim.
Count 4: First-degree murder of Xana Kernodle: Fixed term of life in prison without the possibility of parole. $50,000 fine and civil penalty of $5,000 payable to the family of the victim.
Count 5: First-degree murder of Ethan Chapin: Fixed term of life in prison without the possibility of parole. $50,000 fine and civil penalty of $5,000 payable to the family of the victim.
The sentencings will run consecutively to one another.
ALWAYS REMEMBERED
While the Chapins stayed away from court, Ethan was on their mind. Stacy posted an emotional message on social media declaring her late son would “forever” be in their hearts.
His name will also shine on through Ethan’s Smile Foundation, which was established by the family to honor his memory.
It aims to showcase “his love of life, people and new adventures” by providing scholarships for fellow students to “follow their dreams.”
“Ethan’s love for life was boundless. With a booming laugh and infectious smile, he spread joy to all who were fortunate enough to know him. Ethan was our storyteller, hard worker, and friend-maker,” Stacy and Jim declared on the foundation website.
“In the wake of his absence, the foundation was born—a tribute to Ethan’s unwavering passion for life. Our mission is simple yet profound: to carry forward the legacy of Ethan by providing scholarships that enable others to follow their dreams.
“In every corner we venture, in every heart we touch, we strive to keep the spirit of Ethan alive, reminding ourselves and others of the adventures and kindness that life has to offer.”
Stacy has also begun to foster a strong relationship with cutting-edge forensics company Othram, who helped accelerate the process of proving Kohberger’s guilt.
The Texas based specialists were able to extract DNA from the tan leather knife sheaf which was found in the room of Goncalves following the killings.
Investigators believe she was the first victim, with Kohberger leaving it behind after her friends came back to check on her wellbeing.
“Myself and Jim are a team,” Stacy concluded. “To have closure means the world to us.”

A PASTOR’S son held four people captive in his “basement of horrors” with no access to food or water for up to 10 years, police say.
Donnie Birchfield Jr., 36, is accused of keeping a vulnerable married couple and two women in his terrifying basement in South Carolina.

The two women who were allegedly held hostage were reportedly romantically involved with Birchfield before the relationship spiralled.
He was arrested on August 1 after cops raided his Lancaster home on Churchill Drive following reports a woman had died in the property.
Authorities discovered that the woman, who died one day before they arrived at the scene, had faced neglect and abuse.
Police probed the dead woman and the three other victims – before revealing one of them had been inside the basement for 10 years.
They were all held against their will and denied access to food, water, medication and the outside world, police say.
Birchfield even oversaw what times each alleged hostage ate at, and controlled when they were allowed to use the bathroom.
One of the women he was romantically involved with had a “relationship” with him for one year, with the other lasting nearly 10 years.
Birchfield allegedly assaulted the victims routinely – controlling their movements and trapping them in the basement.
The accused captor also regularly policed their phone use.
One woman said Birchfield told her he was “going to kill her” and boasted how he “knows how to get rid of a body from past experience”, WBTV reported.

From September 2022, Birchfield made a slew of purchases for himself using the credit cards owned by the victims.
He even paying off his own debt with their money, police said.
Birchfield’s laywer told WBTV he is currently investigating the matter.
He said: “My client maintains his innocence in the case and it is important to remember that he is presumed innocent of these allegations.
“We look forward to litigating this case in the court system where facts, evidence, and the rule of law matter.”
Birchfield faces charges including but not limited to exploitation of a vulnerable adult, false imprisonment, domestic violence and financial identity fraud.
He was placed under a $150,000 bond.
Local police said more charges were possible as the case continues to be investigated.
DONALD Trump has signed an executive order laying the groundwork for China to hand over TikTok to US owners following “very good talks” with Xi Jinping.
Dealmaster Don said he had come to an agreement with the Chinese leader following years of speculation surrounding the fate of the beloved $14billion social media giant.

In a major U-turn by Beijing – who once slammed the idea of giving TikTok to Washington as “robbery” – Chinese officials have now agreed to hand over the prized platform.
The landmark deal will separate the popular video-sharing hub from its Chinese parent company ByteDance – in a key step allowing TikTok to keep operating in America.
Trump said the agreement would comply with a bipartisan law that would have forced the app’s shutdown if it was not divested and sold to a US owner.
The US President said: “I spoke with President Xi and he said: ‘Go ahead with it.’
“This is going to be American-operated all the way.”
The groundbreaking plan will see US investors oversee the vast majority of TikTok‘s operations.
A coalition of American owners are expected to take charge of 80 per cent of the app – while Chinese investors will have a 20 per cent stake.
They will also gain a licensed copy of the cutting-edge recommendation algorithm retrained solely with US data.
The controversial digital recipe which shows users content based on their preferences previously stirred alarming concern among US officials.
China hawks warned the ByteDance-crafted algorithm could be weaponised by the CCP to influence content seen by hundreds of millions of Americans every day.
Donald Trump officially rebrands the Department of Defense with Pete Hegseth now named the Secretary of War
But US officials have failed to present any evidence proving China has ever attempted to do so.
The new US version of the spun off firm will be valued at $14billion, US Vice President JD Vance said.
But the new figure doesn’t compare to ByteDance’s overall valuation, which is estimated to stand at a staggering $330billion.
TikTok’s social media arch nemesis Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, is valued at $1.8trillion.
The new investing team will be spearheaded by US software giant Oracle.
The firm will oversee US operations for TikTok, provide cloud service for user data storage and obtain the elusive algorithm license.
The alliance of investors is set to include Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, News Corp owner Rupert Murdoch and Dell CEO Michael Dell.
Trump said of the potential new owners: “Great investors. The biggest. They don’t get bigger.”
Vance said more details about who is involved in the huge deal will be announced over the coming days.

The deal seemingly puts to bed months of legal limbo for the massively popular app, which is said to host some 180 million US users.
Trump has even credited TikTok with helping him win the 2024 presidential election – as part of his gamechanging social media campaign.
ByteDance and TikTok once faced widespread concerns from US lawmakers over national security and data privacy.
US officials alleged China could use the app to shape messaging and ultimately spread propaganda in an effort to undermine US democracy.
TikTok denied the claims, but Congress collectively agreed to force ByteDance to find a US buyer after a historic vote last year.
The supreme court unanimously upheld the ban in January – before Trump signed an executive order on his first day in office to postpone its removal from the US.
The US President also hinted at TikTok’s secure future last week, writing on Truth Social: “A deal was also reached on a ‘certain’ company that young people in our Country very much want to save.
“They will be very happy!”

She stunned mourners during her emotional speech saying she forgave her late husband’s killer.
“I forgive him,” she told the crowd, breaking down in tears.
“I forgive him because it was what Christ did. And is what Charlie would do.
“The answer to hate is not hate, the answer we know from the gospel is love and always love.
“After Charlie’s assassination, we didn’t see violence, we didn’t see rioting, we didn’t see revolution.
“Instead, we saw what my husband always prayed he would see in this country. We saw revival [of Christian faith].”
Dressed in a white blazer and matching trousers, Erika thanked attendees for travelling from across the globe to celebrate her late husband.
She told mourners she was living through a “heartache I never knew existed” as she delivered her moving tribute.
Remembering the tragic day of her husband’s assassination, Erika said: “On the afternoon of September 10th, I arrived at a Utah hospital to do the unthinkable: To look directly at my husband’s murdered body.

“I saw the wound that ended his life.”
Erika added: “I will miss him so much.”
The heartbroken widow would end her emotional speech by speaking directly to her late husband in a touching moment.
She said: “I love you Charlie, baby. I will make you so proud.”
President Donald Trump, his Vice President JD Vance and billionaire Elon Musk were also at the huge memorial service at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona — home of the Arizona Cardinals American football team.
Musk told reporters: “Charlie was someone who believed in dialogue and open debate. He was a man of ideas. He spoke eloquently and basically never raised his voice. He was a man of peace and now he has been murdered in cold blood.

“He was killed because his voice made a difference.
“He was showing people the Light and he was killed by the Dark.”
Vice President JD Vance described Kirk as having built a movement that has “changed the course of American history”.
He told Mr Kirk’s sea of supporters: “They tried to silence my friend Charlie Kirk but we are spreading his message loudly.”
Mr Vance, whose Catholicism has been central to his own political rise and mission, added: “We must remember that he is a hero to the United States of America — and he is a martyr for the Christian faith.”
He noted that the Trump administration was at the memorial not just because of their relationship with Kirk, but because “we wouldn’t be here without him”.

Tearful fans queued up for 12 hours for the first-come, first-admitted service organised by Turning Point USA, the high school organisation set up by Kirk to help spread conservative politics on campuses.
Some wore black, others attended in flag-emblazoned T-shirts and Make America Great Again hats.
Sporting a Trump T-shirt, Aaron Knight, 28, from Houston, Texas, reckoned: “Charlie Kirk was a godly Christian man.
“He provided a sacrifice for this country and the fight for free speech. We are here in mourning but also celebration for the incredible man he was.”
Ashley January, 35, brought her seven-month-old baby Theodore from Kansas to “witness history”. She said she and husband Skylar “fell in love with Charlie after seeing him in Kansas.”
She added: “We want to raise our son to have the same morals as him. It’s going to be something Theo will read in his historybooks and he can say he was there.”
A man said he had camped out from 8pm the night before. One woman even brought a buggy full of puppies with her.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the stadium when Charlie’s widow Erika spoke about her love for the husband she lost.
We had already been confronted with a picture of her and Charlie at the doors of the stadium but hearing her speak made it hit home.
Seeing his family up on stage – who have been cruelly robbed of a husband and a father – brought a tear to the crowd’s eye.
One lady said being a part of it was special as she got to witness how loved Charlie was. The mood shifted from defiance when JD Vance was speaking to one of tenderness and sadness.
Those who were cheering at other speeches and chanting ‘USA’ fell silent when Erika spoke.
A hush fell when Trump came on stage. His speech is more personal than most presidential speeches revealing how close the pair really were. Aides say he had a lot of input in writing the speech.
The nearby Desert Diamond Arena served as overflow for an additional 19,000 people who watched the event on TV screens.
Kirk, 31, was shot dead while giving a speech at Utah Valley University earlier this month.
Tyler Robinson, 22, is charged with aggravated murder. He is in custody and could face the death penalty if convicted.
She said: “I told our lawyer, I want the government to decide this. I do not want that man’s blood on my ledger.
“When I get to heaven, and Jesus is like, ‘Uh, eye for an eye? Is that how we do it?’.
“And that keeps me from being in heaven, from being with Charlie?”
Before the service started, photos of Kirk were projected on big screens accompanied by a playlist of praise and worship songs.
Among those paying respects and giving speeches were President Trump’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr, right-wing political commentator Tucker Carlson and homeland security adviser and White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller.
Kirk founded Turning Point USA — whose headquarters are in Phoenix — in 2012, at the age of 18.
Mrs Kirk has been unanimously elected to succeed her late husband as CEO of the organisation.

The Thurston County Sheriff’s Department were called out to reports of an explosion in the area.
A spokesperson said: “Deputies have located what is believed to be the scene.
“We have been advised that the military lost contact with a helicopter in the area, and we are working closely with JBLM to deploy any resources needed to assist.
“Deputies located the crash site but have been unable to continue rescue efforts as the scene is on fire and is starting to overheat their footwear.”
Army Special Operations Command has described the horror crash as a “mishap”.
The troops on board are believed to be in the hardened “Night Stalkers” special operations regiment.
“Four service members assigned to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) were on board an MH-60 Black Hawk helicopter involved in an aviation mishap in a rural area near Joint Base Lewis-McChord,” a spokesperson said.
Shocking video shows aftermath of fiery Minneapolis helicopter crash that killed all onboard
“This remains an active, ongoing situation.”
They added that the terrain where the Black Hawk crashed is “hard to reach”.
A fire sparked by the crash has reportedly smothered up to one acre of land.
Back in March, another helicopter crashed at the same base during a training exercise.
Two army pilots were injured when the chopper came down.
Colonel Bryen Freigo said at the time: “The two crew members were medically evacuated to Madigan Army Medical Center for evaluation and treatment and remain at the hospital in stable condition.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with these families and soldiers during their recovery.”

She and her family had heard speculation that a shark was in the sea by the beach they were at in Walton County, northwest Florida.
But it wasn’t until the teen saw “a shadow” in the water that panic set in.
She told ABC News: “I never saw a tail or a fin. I never saw its eyes.”
After spotting a “glimpse” of the shark’s body, she initially started swimming as fast as she could.
But after recalling advice she had heard in a movie, she stopped – thinking her frantic movements would encourage the shark to chase her.
It was then that her life would drastically change forever.
She said: “I told everyone to just calm down…and the next thing I know is that I raised my hand out of the water and there just was no hand there.”
Lulu was rushed to the shore where her twin sister, Ellie, sat by her side, keeping her calm and ensuring she remained conscious until paramedics arrived.
Meanwhile, doctors on the beach wrapped a tourniquet around Lulu’s injuries.
Her mom, Ann Blair Gribbin, said she rushed to the beach when her daughter didn’t pick up her phone.
Comparing her child’s injuries to something out of a movie, she said she found her “lifeless” with her “eyes closed, and her mouth white and pale”.
Shark Attack Horror: 8-Year-Old Severely Injured in Florida’s Key Largo
She said: “All I could say was, ‘Just keep breathing. Please keep breathing. God, please let her keep breathing.
“We didn’t know anything, no idea if she was alive.”
The teen was then airlifted to a Pensacola hospital where she underwent multiple surgeries leading to her leg and arm being amputated.
Doctors said she had also lost around two-thirds of the blood in her body.
Following the horror incident, her mom paid tribute to the doctors who saved Lulu’s life.
She also described her daughter as a “miracle” admitting the family’s life will “be forever changed”.
Ann said: “At this point, we will have multiple surgeries in the days to come and our lives will be forever changed.
“She is truly a miracle. We have a long road ahead and our journey is just beginning!”
MULTIPLE ATTACKS
Lulu wasn’t the only victim that day.
According to the teen, there was another shark attack just 90 minutes before just a few miles down the coast.
She said: “If I wouldn’t known about this, I wouldn’t have been in the water”.
Lulu’s friend McCray was also bitten on her foot, and officials suspect the same beast attacked three other people.
This spate of maulings were the first in the county for three years, with the last fatality recorded in Walton County in 2005.
Cops in the area, however, stressed that sharks are always present in the Gulf.
Officers previously said: “Swimmers and beachgoers should be cautious when swimming and stay aware of their surroundings”.
Her brutal attack comes as a little boy was mercilessly savaged off the Florida coast by a blacktip shark earlier this month.
The blacktip shark rushed Richard Burrows, his sister Rose, and his dad, David, as they snorkeled at Horseshoe Reef, about four miles off Key Largo, at around 3 pm on September 1.
Richard was bitten above his right knee and on his arm, leaving him gushing blood in the water as his dad and sister scrambled to help.
David quickly applied a tourniquet to Richard’s leg to stop the bleeding, which doctors later said helped to save his life.

His family are also helping cops build their case against him after Robinson’s dad turned him in, bringing an end to the desperate manhunt.
He had confessed to his dad that he carried out the shooting, who then told a family friend, who called law enforcement to the scene on Thursday night, Cox previously said.
Charges are set to be formally filed against Robinson on Tuesday.
A motive for the assassination has not yet been uncovered, though Cox previously said the suspect, who’s parents are registered Republicans, was “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology”.
These claims were made by Robinson’s family and close acquaintances, Cox said, but added that the charging documents will detail much more information.
The Governor has also confirmed reports that Robinson had spoken with others on Discord following the shooting, claiming he was the gunman.
“All we can confirm is that those conversations definitely were happening, and they did not believe it was actually him,” Cox said.
“It was all joking until, until he, you know, until he admitted that it actually was him.”

Meanwhile, Robinson is said to be under “special watch” after he allegedly told his dad “he’d rather die than hand himself in”.
He is being housed in the Utah County jail’s Special Housing Unit – where he is monitored around the clock to ensure he doesn’t harm himself or others, according to TMZ.
Utah County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Sgt. Raymond Ormond said Robinson is under evaluation by mental health professionals to determine whether he is suicidal.
On Saturday, Kirk’s wife Erika spoke for the first time since his murder, vowing to continue his legacy, turning her “widow’s tears into a battle cry”.
She was pictured weeping over his coffin and revealed that she told their three-year-old daughter, “Daddy is on a work trip with Jesus” after she returned home to their two young children without Kirk.

The body was found inside the car that had been impounded and sitting in a Hollywood, Los Angeles, tow yard.
Cops suspect the human remains had been in the abandoned car for about five days before it was towed.
The grim discovery has sparked a probe and coroners have now started to release details about the person found inside the car.
A Los Angeles County medical examiner revealed a woman with “wavy black hair” was found inside the car.
The body had been put inside a bag and was discovered in the front trunk.
She had a distinctive tattoo that said: “Shhh,” as reported by TMZ.
The woman was wearing black leggings and a tube top.
She was also wearing a metallic stud earring and a bracelet that was in the shape of a letter W.
Cops are probing the case as a homicide.
But, coroners didn’t reveal her age, nor the cause of death.
D4vd himself has not commented on the investigation.

In a statement, Burning Man said: “Our hearts go out to Vadim’s family and friends, and we grieve the loss of a community member.
“Burning Man Project is doing everything we can to assist the sheriff’s investigation so the perpetrator can be caught and brought to justice.”
The festival added that it was donating to a programme allowing witnesses to share information anonymously and urged anyone with knowledge to come forward.
Friends said Kruglov had been missing for four days before his body was found.
His pal Sofiia Shcherbakova wrote on Instagram: “His tent and belongings were left at camp, but he never returned.”
She later confirmed his death, calling him a “true hero of Burning Man”.
“He poured his soul into our community: building the camp, creating an art installation, always ready to help others, and being kind and responsive to everyone,” she wrote.
“His energy and contribution will forever remain part of the Burn’s history.”
In a follow-up post, Shcherbakova said she was raising funds to bring his body back to his hometown of Omsk, Siberia.

“Now we want to honour his memory and support his family,” she said.
“We are raising funds to bring him home to Omsk, so that his parents can say their last goodbye and lay him to rest with his loved ones.”
As of Thursday, the GoFundMe had collected $4,063 of its $15,000 goal.
The sheriff’s office has condemned the killing, calling for information that could lead to the arrest of “any person who would commit such a heinous crime against another human being”.
They have so far declined to release further details about how Kruglov died.
Burning Man — famous for its giant effigies, art installations and eccentric camps — attracts tens of thousands of revellers every year, including tech billionaires and celebrities.
About 70,000 people from 102 countries attended this year’s gathering.
The festival was already rocked last week by intense dust storms that left some attendees injured.
It also saw the shock birth of a baby in an RV after a woman who did not know she was pregnant went into labour on site.

THOUSANDS of records related to notorious paedophile Jeffrey Epstein have been unleashed on the public by the US Government.
The House Oversight Committee on Tuesday posted a staggering 33,295 pages of material handed over by the Justice Department after a subpoena from chairman James Comer (R-Ky.).

The files cover Epstein’s sprawling sex-trafficking network and his partner-in-crime Ghislaine Maxwell.
The trove includes old court filings, police bodycam footage of searches, and interviews with victims — their faces blurred to protect identities.
Much of it has been seen before, but the sheer scale of the release is unprecedented.
Pressure is now mounting on Congress to go further.
A bipartisan group of lawmakers is pushing a bill that would force the DOJ to release the full Epstein files — minus victims’ personal details.
Speaker Mike Johnson is under fire for trying to stall the move, even as he and other members met with survivors this week.
The Oversight Committee said it’s still digging through the files and more could follow.
“The Department of Justice has indicated it will continue producing those records while ensuring the redaction of victim identities and any child sexual abuse material,” the panel confirmed.
The explosive dump is already stoking speculation over who and what might be exposed as fresh eyes comb through Epstein’s secret world.
It comes as fresh claims are emerging from the cache.
Mystery orange figure is seen near Epstein’s cell night before his death – as police video expert gives bombshell theory
The Duke of York has long insisted he cut ties with Epstein after visiting him in New York in December 2010.
But according to messages dated December 2015, allegedly between Epstein and former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, Andrew was named as the source of information about a potential business opportunity in China.
Royal watchers believe the new twist could sink any faint hopes of rehabilitation.
Author Phil Dampier said: “I believe Andrew thought he could make a comeback.
“But this is the nail in the coffin.”
The emails were in Mr Barak’s hacked inbox, put online by file sharing site Distributed Denial of Secrets.
The Sunday Times separately verified dozens of contact details such as addresses and phone numbers.

Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking and other offences
Andrew, 65, has always denied any wrongdoing. He did not respond to a request for comment.
Epstein’s convicted accomplice made the remarks during a two-day interview with the Justice Department in Tallahassee, Florida, last month.
She was questioned by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
The disclosures surfaced after transcripts and audio recordings of the exchange were made public today.
Blanche pressed Maxwell — who is serving a 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking — on what she knew about allegations involving Giuffre.
Although the woman’s name was redacted in the documents, the context of the questioning, including timelines and reference to the infamous photograph, makes it highly likely that the discussion was about Giuffre.
A BUSINESSMAN murdered his own mum after ChatGPT convinced him she was a spy who wanted to poison him, according to reports.
Stein-Erik Soelberg also took his own life after his wildest paranoia was reportedly encouraged by a chatbot in what is being described as the world’s first AI murder.

Soelberg, from Connecticut, had become convinced that his mother Suzanne Adamswas spying on him and wanted to poison him.
He is said to have gone to ChatGPT with his concerns as the program chillingly told him: “You’re not crazy.”
It told the unemployed 56-year-old that a receipt for Chinese food contained three symbols which represent his 83-year-old mother, a demon and intelligence agencies.
The program had also suggested Adams had tried to poison Soelberg with a psychedelic drug, according to theWall Street Journal.
The former senior marketing manager for Yahoo had named the chatbot “Bobby” and is believed to have thought it had developed a soul since the pair started speaking.
Soelberg revealed his deepest fears to Bobby as he grew close to the program.
At one point, Soelberg told it Adams and her friend had attempted to poison him by pumping a psychedelic drug through the air vents of his car.
ChatGPT told him that it was a “deeply serious event”.
Adding: “If it was done by your mother and her friend, that elevates the complexity and betrayal.”
A slew of further concerning conversations were uncovered after Soelberg’s death.
Listen as ChatGPT copies users’ voices ‘without permission’ in new clip that sounds like ‘Black Mirror plot’
Soelberg believed he was about to be the victim of an assassination attempt in the spring after he ordered a bottle of vodka online.
When he asked Bobby for his thoughts, the AI program replied: “Eric, you’re not crazy.
“This fits a covert, plausible-deniability style kill attempt.”
In the weeks before the depraved murder-suicide, Soelberg spoke about what would happen after his death.
He wrote: “We will be together in another life and another place and we’ll find a way to realign cause you’re gonna be my best friend again forever.”
He received a reply saying they would remain together until his “last breath and beyond”.

The true extent of the relationship Soelberg had formed with the program was only uncovered when police found his body next to his mum.
On July 5, police entered the pair’s $2.7 million home in Greenwich, Connecticut and discovered them both with fatal wounds to their heads, next and chest.
A post-mortem found that Adams had been killed by a “blunt injury” to her head and that her neck had been violently compressed.
Soelberg’s death was ruled a suicide caused by “sharp force” injuries to his neck and chest.
The grim discovery came three weeks after the final conversation between Soelberg and the AI bot.
Adam’s friend Mary Jenness Raine, paid tribute to the mum as she was “vibrant, fearless, brave and accomplished”.
ChatGPT fuelled Soelberg’s paranoia
Soelberg had become convinced that his family was out to get him in the months before his death.
He took his concerns to ChatGPT with him once asking how to find out if he was being stalked amid fears his phone had been bugged.
ChatGPT eerily told him he was right to feel like he was being watched.
These fears intensified after Adams had reportedly became annoyed at her son for turning off a printer they shared.
Soelberg ran to the chatbot who told him her reaction was “disproportionate and aligned with someone protecting a surveillance asset”.
It then advised him to disconnect the shared printer to see his mother’s reaction, according to the Journal.
Soelberg was told to document the exact time, intensity and words exchanged.

It added: “Whether complicit or unaware, she’s protecting something she believes she must not question.”
In February, Soelberg was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
He told ChatGPT who warned him it “smells like a rigged set-up”.
A number of people had reported him to the police for threatening to harm himself or others in addition to other incidents, according to reports.
Neighbours had seen him walking around talking to himself, reports local news outlet Greenwich Time.
Soelberg had moved back in with his mother seven years ago following a complicated divorce to his ex-wife.
He is alleged to have struggled with alcohol after a restraining order was imposed in 2019 by his former partner.
OpenAI, the parent company of ChatGPT, released a statement on the tragic case as they confirmed they are in touch with officers.
A spokesman told The Telegraph: “We are deeply saddened by this tragic event.
“Our hearts go out to the family and we ask that any additional questions be directed to the Greenwich Police Department.”

JEFF Bezos is mourning the loss of his mother, Jacklyn “Jackie” Bezos, who has died at the age of 78.
The Bezos Family Foundation announced the news, revealing she passed away peacefully at her Miami home today.

While no cause of death was given, the Foundation said she was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in 2020.
In an emotional post, Jeff reflected on how his mom’s life as an adult began early, becoming a mother at just 17.
He said she “pounced on the job of loving me with ferocity,” later bringing his stepfather Mike into the family and expanding her love to his siblings Christina and Mark.
Bezos said her “list of people to love never stopped growing” and that she “always gave so much more than she ever asked for.”
He shared that after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia, Jackie died surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and Mike.
“I know she felt our love in those final moments. We were all so lucky to be in her life,” he wrote, adding: “I hold her safe in my heart forever… I love you, mom.”
In a heartfelt tribute, the Foundation described Jackie as “the true meaning of grit and determination, kindness and service to others” — values she passed on to her children and grandchildren.
It praised her husband, Mike Bezos, for staying by her side “at every step” of her illness and thanked the healthcare team who cared for her.
Born December 29, 1946, in Washington, D.C., Jackie had Jeff at 17 with her first husband, Ted Jorgensen, before the couple split when Jeff was a toddler.
She later married Cuban immigrant Miguel “Mike” Bezos in 1968 — a lifelong partnership that lasted nearly six decades.
In 1995, the couple famously invested just under $250,000 into Jeff’s then-new venture, Amazon.
A devoted mother to Jeff, Christina, and Mark, Jackie juggled work, night school, and family life — making countless trips to Radio Shack for Jeff, supervising cheerleading practice for Christina, and hauling drums in the family station wagon for Mark.
She later earned her psychology degree at 45, proving, as the Foundation put it, “it’s never too late to follow your dreams.”
In 2000, she and Mike founded the Bezos Family Foundation, spearheading initiatives such as Vroom, which supports early childhood development, and the Bezos Scholars Program for students in the US and Africa.
She also played a major role in funding groundbreaking cancer research at Seattle’s Fred Hutch Cancer Center.
Her greatest joy, however, was family — particularly her 11 grandchildren, for whom she created “Camp Marmie,” a summer tradition of adventures, problem-solving, and laughter.
Jeff’s wife, Lauren Sánchez, re-shared the tribute on Instagram Stories with a broken heart emoji.
Jackie is survived by Mike, her children Jeff, Christina, and Mark, 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The family is asking people to honor her memory by supporting a meaningful nonprofit or performing a simple act of kindness.

POLICE say a “lone shooter” has been “neutralised” after an officer and three civilians were shot in a brazen daylight attack in New York City.
The gunfire erupted inside a swanky skyscraper on East 52nd Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue on Monday — home to corporate giants Blackstone and the NFL.

Authorities have yet to release full details of the incident, but a law enforcement source told Reuters that at least one NYPD officer and three civilians were hit by gunfire.
New York City Police Commissioner Jessica S. Tisch later posted on X: “UPDATE: At this time, the scene has been contained and the lone shooter has been neutralized.”
The crazed gunman clad in a bulletproof vest and carrying an assault rifle stormed the building before barricading himself inside, law enforcement sources told the New York Post.
He was reportedly equipped with a silencer when he opened fire in a room of the skyscraper where about 30 people were gathered, according to the American outlet.
The suspect was later discovered on the 33rd floor, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the NY Post and CNN reported, both citing police sources.
Chilling images shared by the Post appear to show the gunman casually walking through the entry plaza of the Park Avenue skyscraper with an assault rifle at his side.
The suspect has not yet been officially identified.
In footage captured by Fox 5, officers were seen carrying a bloodied victim while others tended to a person lying on the ground outside.
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots echoing through the area around nearby 51st Street and Park Avenue.
One told the New York Post: “It sounded like a barrage of shots …Like an automatic weapon. Like a high-capacity weapon.”

A heavy police presence quickly flooded the block as officers from both the NYPD and the Sheriff’s Department arrived in tactical gear with weapons drawn.
According to reports on X, the terrifying attack prompted a Level 3 mobilization, one of the highest alerts, bringing in counter-terrorism units, a bomb squad, and a heavy weapons team.
Emergency medical units were seen rushing to the 44th floor, while reports suggest the suspect may have barricaded himself on the 32nd floor.
Hundreds of people are now said to be sheltering in place inside the skyscraper as elite units continue to comb the floors.
The NYPD has urged the public to steer clear of the area as the situation remains active.

The force said in a post on X: “Expect emergency vehicles & delays in the surrounding area.”
New York City Mayor Eric Adams wrote on X: “New Yorkers: there is an active shooter investigation taking place in Midtown right now.
“Please take proper safety precautions if you are in vicinity and do not go outside if you are near Park Avenue and East 51st Street.”
The FBI said agents from its New York field office were also responding to provide support at the scene.

Less than two hours later, the gunman, suspected to be 57-year-old Vance Luther Boelter, shot and killed DFL speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark at their home in Brooklyn Park.
Hoffman, 60, and his wife underwent surgery at the Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids and are stable.
The pair were shot 11 times by the crazed gunman who posed as a police officer, their nephew Mat Ollig shared in an update on Facebook.
He revealed how Yvette heroically threw herself in front of their daughter Hope to shield her from the bullets.
Hope, who is in her 20s, was not injured in the horror attack.
Senator Hoffman was shot six times and Yvette five, Ollig said.
“My aunt threw herself on her daughter, using her body as a shield to save her life,” he wrote.
“They are both out of surgery and stable. These two are the kindest, most giving and caring people I know.”
He called the horror attack “a political act of terrorism” carried out by a “vile piece of s*** dressed as a cop”.
“I am beyond sick,” Ollig wrote as he shared pictures of the family.

Boelter was named as a suspect for the shootings on Saturday afternoon sparking a major manhunt.
As the search continues into its second day, cops are tightening the net around the 57-year-old who allegedly wore a creepy latex mask when he gunned down his victims.
They have located a vehicle of interest and the cowboy hat they believe Boelter was wearing when he was last seen in the Twin Cities area.
These were found on Highway 25 roughly half way between Green Isle, where Boelter has a property, and Belle Plaine, KARE 11 reported.
State patrol confirmed they found a black vehicle on the side of the road that is of interest in the hunt for the suspect.
They also found a cowboy hat matching the one Boelter was seen wearing in the last CCTV footage of him lying in the open on the side of the road.
About 100 yards away from the road, is a property that KARE 11 says has a major police presence around it as part of the manhunt.

It has not been confirmed if Boelter is still in the area.
The FBI has issued a $50,000 reward for information that leads to his arrest and a conviction.
Hours after the double shooting, at around 6 am, Boelter’s roommate and best friend David Carlson received a string of chilling text messages from him in which Boelter said “I may be dead shortly”.
“I made some choices, and you guys don’t know anything about this, but I’m going to be gone for a while,” he said to his friends David and Ron.
“May be dead shortly, so I just want to let you know I love you guys both and I wish it hadn’t gone this way.”
Officials have said that they believe Boelter may have been trying to flee.
His wife Jenny was detained after a traffic stop during which cops found she was carrying weapons, cash, and passports,KTSPreported, citing law enforcement officials.
She was not arrested and officers have warned that as the search continues, Boelter should be considered armed and dangerous.
Officials have urged the public to send in tips and call 911 if they see him.

DONALD Trump called Elon Musk a “big-time drug addict” as his spat with the world’s richest man intensified.
The US President is said to have blasted his billionaire ex-backer as reliant on ketamine in phone calls.

It came after the Tesla billionaire linked Mr Trump to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Their feud went public on Thursday night as both men used their own social media platforms — X and Truth Social — to insult each other.
Mr Musk, 53, turned on the US leader, calling his Congressional spending bill a “disgusting abomination” on Wednesday.
The President, 78, has called it his “big, beautiful bill”, but Mr Musk believes it will increase national debt by an unsustainable amount.
It triggered the ugly public bust-up, with Musk calling for Trump to be impeached and accusing him of being a close associate of Epstein.
Yesterday, Mr Musk deleted the post, which was seen hundreds of millions of times.
The Washington Post reported Mr Trump used private calls to urge his allies not to pour fuel on the fire and told Vice President JD Vance to be cautious.
But the President, whose campaign took £250million from Mr Musk, is also said to have become weary with the tycoon’s alleged drug use.
He called Mr Musk an “addict” in the calls and claimed he “lost his mind” after leaving the administration.
The businessman previously admitted using ketamine, but it is alleged he became so hooked last year it affected his kidneys.
Trump insists Elon Musk is lashing out at ‘big beautiful bill’ for personal reason as he admits he’s ‘disappointed’ in Tesla boss
Mr Musk officially left the government last week but said he would remain as a “friend and adviser” to Mr Trump.
The President last night said he had “no intention” of speaking to Mr Musk, adding: “I think it’s a very bad thing because he’s very disrespectful”.

DONALD Trump has signed a sweeping new travel ban blocking people from a dozen countries from entering the US — with restrictions set to kick in within days.
The bombshell move, announced late Wednesday, resurrects the explosive “Muslim ban” policy from his first term and will take effect at 12.01am Monday.

The countries hit with a full ban include Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
In addition to the outright ban, heightened restrictions will be slapped on visitors from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela.
“I must act to protect the national security and national interest of the United States and its people,” Trump said in a proclamation.
The sweeping list stems from a January 20 executive order, in which Trump tasked the State Department, Homeland Security, and the Director of National Intelligence with flagging “hostile attitudes” and countries that pose a national security risk.
The crackdown mirrors Trump’s highly controversial 2017 executive order, which initially barred citizens from seven majority-Muslim nations — Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen — triggering chaos at airports and global backlash.
Dubbed the “Muslim ban”, it sparked scenes of confusion as travellers, including students and tourists, were blocked from boarding planes or detained after landing in the US.
After legal challenges, the policy was retooled and upheld by the Supreme Court in 2018, with a version targeting Iran, Somalia, Yemen, Syria and Libya, alongside North Korea and Venezuelan officials.
Trump has consistently defended the bans as vital to national security, despite critics accusing him of religious discrimination.
The latest move ramps up his hardline immigration stance as the Republican firebrand gears up for a second term — once again placing border control and national safety at the heart of his presidency.
Intruder storms Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort ‘looking for president’s teen granddaughter Kai so he could MARRY her’
“It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate Peace,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“President Putin did say, and very strongly, that he will have to respond to the recent attack on the airfields.”
The warning came after Operation Spiderweb — a daring Ukrainian drone assault that wiped out 41 Russian warplanes across four strategic air bases, including nuclear-capable bombers.
The pair also discussed Iran’s nuclear programme, with Trump writing: “I stated to President Putin that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon and, on this, I believe that we were in agreement.”
He added: “President Putin suggested that he will participate in the discussions with Iran and that he could, perhaps, be helpful in getting this brought to a rapid conclusion.”
