Emmerdale’s Bear takes revenge over Anya and a villager’s abrupt exit ‘sealed’

Emmerdale spoilers have teased violent scenes next week as Bear challenges Ray over Anya’s death, and Lewis is reeling over some news about Kev when the police come knocking

There’s some big moments on Emmerdale next week, with new spoiler clips teasing violence and an exit.

Bear Wolf lashes out at villain Ray Walters next week on the ITV soap in the wake of poor Anya’s death. Grieving, a discovery sends him into a rage, and he confronts Ray in dramatic fashion.

It comes following Anya sadly passing away, amid the soap’s horrifying modern slavery storyline. With Ray and Celia Daniels refusing to get Anya the medical help she needed after an injury, she got sick and passed away.

Bear had grown close to her and vowed to look after her, so her death hits him hard. But it seems as far as he’s concerned, Anya’s body has been taken away from the farm.

He soon finds out the truth though and goes looking, where he finds Anya’s body up against a wall in the feed shed. Disgusted with the way she has been discarded like she’s nothing, Bear lashes out.

Holding a bracelet Anya’s daughter had made for her, Bear tells Ray he’s seen the body and knows he’s been lied to. He accuses Ray of not caring about what’s happened, and treating her like an animal.

Ray gets annoyed and tells Bear to calm down, trying to get control over the situation. But as he starts shoving Bear and telling him to back off, Bear loses it and shouts in his face.

Grabbing him by the collar, he shoves him up against a wall leaving Ray gasping. But is this the moment that he sees he’s being manipulated, and that Ray is not on his side?

Also in the village next week, scenes could seal an exit. Lewis Barton is left stunned when the police arrive at the café, declaring they need to speak with Kev Townsend.

Kev is in the café at the time amid his growing friendship with Lewis, his secret son. When the police arrive and ask to speak with him, Lewis asks if Kev is being arrested, when they reveal it’s about an armed robbery.

Kev tries to downplay the situation, telling the police they have got it wrong and they will soon realise he’s had nothing to do with it. But with them claiming they’ve found evidence, and viewers knowing he did carry out the crime, could this lead him being sent back to prison for his crime in a rather abrupt exit for the newcomer? Viewers will have to tune in to find out!

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .

Strictly exit ‘sealed’ in devastating blow as star to ‘miss out’ on Blackpool Week

Strictly Come Dancing will see another celebrity and their professional partner leave the competition this weekend

Strictly Come Dancing will witness another departure this weekend – and the prospects aren’t promising for one pairing.

Last weekend, Balvinder Sopal and her dance partner Julian Caillon managed to avoid finding themselves in the bottom two despite being the bookmakers’ top picks to depart the show.

Nevertheless, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and La Voix found themselves in the bottom two and were forced to perform once more in an attempt to remain in the contest.

Unfortunately, it signalled the end for the Gladiator star, as all the judges chose to rescue La Voix.

Yet this week, Balvinder and Julian’s journey could be over, according to exclusive odds from Betway, reports Wales Online.

The duo has been handed odds of 150/1 of departing on Sunday.

La Voix, who received salvation last weekend, is also in danger of exiting, with odds of 100/1.

Meanwhile, at the opposite end of the spectrum, George Clarke remains the favourite to claim victory in the competition, with odds of 10/11.

Emmerdale star Lewis Cope sits in second position with odds of 11/4, whilst Vicky Pattison occupies third spot with odds of 6/1.

Whoever ultimately departs this week will also forfeit the chance to perform at the iconic Blackpool Tower during Strictly’s Blackpool Week.

Following their bottom two placement, Balvinder and Julian featured on It Takes Two, where they discussed landing in the dance off once again.

Balvinder told It Takes Two host Fleur East, “The rumba, it was the hardest thing to learn. Literally, on Tuesday, I’d thrown the towel in and went, ‘I can’t do it,’ I sat in a corner and cried.

“Jules was standing there and went, ‘When you’re ready, bro… we’ve got to get this done’.”

Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC One.

Coronation Street’s Carl Webster’s comeuppance ‘sealed’ after sick Debbie betrayal

Coronation Street fans are desperate for Carl Webster to face his downfall for his recent villainous ways, including a sickening twist with his sister Debbie Webster

Fans of Coronation Street think a downfall is set for villain Carl Webster, as he sunk to new lows this week.

The brother of Kevin and Debbie Webster has been up to all sorts, from dodgy car stealing schemes and fake MOTs, as well as his affair with sister-in-law Abi Franklin. With Carl also having a secret romance with James Bailey behind Abi’s back, and him also being behind the hit-and-run that injured Tyrone Dobbs, fans are eager to see him punished.

But his latest dark behaviour could be his cruelest decision yet, and it’s left sickened fans wanting him gone. Carl has been getting closer to his sister Debbie, and clearly wants access to her business accounts at the hotel.

Amid Debbie’s dementia diagnosis and her becoming forgetful, vile scenes have shown Carl tricking her and trying to get her out of the way. Wanting access to the accounts no doubt for the money, fans fear he will end up fleecing his own sister.

This and the fact he’s cruelly using her diagnosis against her at a time where she’s vulnerable, has left fans horrified. Many have called it the final straw and are hoping he gets found out soon.

The ongoing storyline has sparked speculation that it will lead to a big comeuppance for Carl, perhaps at Christmas or beyond. Fans are now trying to figure out who will expose Carl and who will bring him down.

As Kevin and Abi were named as potential suspects behind his downfall, other fans wondered if Debbie or her partner Ronnie Bailey, or even fling James, will stop him for once and for all. Taking to social media, one fan said: “Cant stand him. Someone has to catch him.”

Another viewer said: “Is he going to get caught out for EVERYTHING at Christmas? Tyrone, Debbie, Abi, James, they’ll all want a piece of him!”

A third fan wrote: “Debbie must have accountants checking the hotel books. Surely there will be investigations if things don’t add up. What about the other hotel staff too? They would notice dodgy goings on.”

Another fan said: “I think Debbie has her suspicions about him wanting access to the hotel’s finances. She should give him limited access and give the same access to Ronnie so he can keep an eye out for anything dodgy. Then when she confronts Carl, with Ronnie backing her, he can’t claim she’s confused because of her dementia.”

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITV X. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
