ITV Big Brother fans fume ‘we all saw it coming’ after shopping task mayhem

Big Brother viewers were left fuming as the housemates failed the “easiest task” in the show’s history

ITV Big Brother viewers have fumed “we all saw it coming” after this week’s shopping task was plunged into chaos.

In last night’s episode (October 23), the Big Brother house was transformed into an airport for the weekly task in the hopes of winning a luxury shopping budget.

The housemates were asked to check in as passengers and crew onboard the British Eyeways Flight BB2025 with a number of rules to follow.

Big Brother announced: “Passengers, your destination is a luxury shopping budget but only if you can successfully complete your journey and that might not be as easy as it sounds. Every rule break will extend your flight time meaning a short smooth trip could quickly become a long-haul nightmare.”

Cameron and Feyisola took on the roles of pilot and co-pilot, with Jenny and Sam cabin crew and the remaining housemates as passengers.

Caroline, Richard and Zelah were on a stag do, Farida and Nancy were typical tourists, Elsa and Emily as returning backpackers on their gap year, Tate and Teja were business travellers and Marcus was a single dad.

However, after repeatedly breaking the rules, the flight became longer and longer. With the housemates having to endure over four hours on the flight, they soon quit, reports OK!.

As a result, Big Brother informed the housemates they had failed the task and would be living on basic rations. Fans vented their frustrations on social media, with one viewer stating: “The easiest task in the history of the show and they gave up.”

Another penned: “Well we all saw it coming… they FAILED the shopping task and now it’s basic rations for the lot of them. Hunger games incoming!”.

A third commented: “The easiest task in the history of the show.”

A fourth responded: “Sorry but if I was any of their employers I would be thinking a lot differently about some of them, they couldn’t follow some easy rules for 2 hours? ? ? Actually childish imo.”

Another declared: “I’d be fuming if i were in there following the task. all they had to do was f*** all and they still failed.” One person echoed: “Basic rations! !”.

During the shopping challenge, regulations stipulated contestants must not consume food that wasn’t allocated to them, whilst luggage had to remain with housemates constantly.

Contestants were also instructed to remain seated on the aircraft whilst the seatbelt indicator was illuminated. They were subsequently required to estimate their landing time without checking clocks.

Nevertheless, following more than two hours, they abandoned their challenge.

With the housemates bracing themselves for meagre provisions, numerous viewers are questioning precisely what this will entail for those within the Big Brother residence.

Big Brother airs Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

More Middle East mayhem amid unconditional US support for Israel? | Israel-Palestine conflict

US political analyst John Mearsheimer argues that Israel attacked Qatar to preclude any closure to the war on Gaza.

In the aftermath of an Israeli attack on Qatar targeting the leadership of Hamas, American political scientist John Mearsheimer argues, “The Israelis are interested in making sure there are no negotiations that settle the conflict in Gaza.”

Mearsheimer tells host Steve Clemons that the United States and Israel “basically act as a tag team”, and despite a mild rebuke by President Donald Trump, “the US supports Israel unconditionally”.

He adds that Israel has three main strategic goals: expand territory, move the Palestinians out of all conquered territory, and ensure that all countries in the region are weak.

Love Island mayhem as one boy ‘does bits’ with Casa Amor girl in shocking scenes

Love Island viewers are in for some serious drama as Casa Amor launches into chaos as one of the boys dives straight into bed and does ‘bits’ with a new girl

Casa Amor has barely kicked off, and already one Islander has taken things too far after jumping into bed with a new girl just hours after her entrance to the iconic villa.

The steamy moment reportedly took place on Friday night in the main bedroom, where the pair got down and dirty under the duvet. Though the footage hasn’t aired, insiders say it’s one of the most outrageous moments the show has seen in many years.

“This could be one of the most shocking Casa moments since Andrew Le Page licked Coco’s t** or whatever,” said a source. “They hit it off and one thing led to another.”

The identities of the couple are being kept secret to preserve the surprise, but the boy involved has already caused drama earlier in the series. “The lad has been in a love triangle and has made a girl cry with his actions,” the insider told The Sun.

ITV is reportedly undecided about when, or if, the intimate scene will air. “It was all under the duvet in the main bedroom on Friday night,” the source said.

“Viewers will have to wait and see if ITV decide to air the footage or not. Tonight’s show will show the first day of Casa Amor, but the bedroom moment could be pushed to Monday or Tuesday because there’s already so much drama. It’s already looking like this could be one of the best Casa Amors ever.”

Elsewhere, tensions are rising in Casa Amor and the boys aren’t wasting time. On their first night, Dejon kicks things off with a flirty round of Truth or Dare to break the ice.

Things heat up fast as Ben dives in with a bold three-way kiss, including Harry’s ex, Emma. Harrison follows suit, locking lips with the girl he fancies most, until the group has to step in and call time on the unusually long snog.

Harry soon comes face to face with his ex girlfriend Emma, who greets him with a cheeky: “Surprise!” He later confirms the ‘E’ tattoo on his wrist is, indeed, for her.

As the Islanders chat about their types, Yaz says she needs emotional depth in a partner. Emma doesn’t miss a beat, leaning toward Harry and saying: “Well that’s you out.”

When asked to rate his connection with Toni, Harrison admits: “Seven, could be better.” Meanwhile, Tommy doesn’t hold back with the new arrivals: “There’s definitely a few of you that tickle my fancy.”

After the shock of her entrance, Harry and his ex Emma finally catch up, and he says, “I don’t need you to come and tell me off.” But Emma has no plans to stay quiet as she calls him out on his bad behaviour with Helena.

“It’s disgraceful though… like, how are you still doing the same thing?” she says. “The way you’ve been moving with Helena honestly… you two deserve each other… two snakes.”

Love Island fans hail latest episode ‘best in show’s history’ as villa erupts into mayhem

Love Island fans were treated to a night of non-stop drama and arguments in tonight’s episode, with some hailing the episode one of the best in the ITV2 show’s history

Tensions are rising in the Love Island villa as tonight saw fights, drama and admissions. The fallout from the eBay party continued tonight – with the latest challenge causing some of the most dramatic scenes in Love Island history, according to fans.

It came just after Harry and Yasmin headed for a kiss in the hideaway, leaving Helena and many of the other Islander’s fuming.

Although they all tried to sneak a peek, they were left unaware that the couple had shared three kisses, until all was revealed in the epic game, Look Who’s Talking.

In the explosive game, the Islanders each took a card, with a quote written on it. They then collectively decided which of their fellow Islanders said it – which of course, caused a whole load of drama.

It was in the game where it was revealed Harry and Yasmin shared not one, not two, but three kisses in the Hideaway, leaving Helena fuming.

The moment came after Remell read out the card: “Do you think I should kiss her? Is that what you’re saying? Kiss Yas, because I will,” as the Islanders guessed it was Harry’s words.

Once he was exposed, Harry who is currently coupled up with Helena revealed that the words came out his mouth last night after the two shared a kiss in the challenge.

He finally admitted the pair had shared a kiss in the Hideaway “twice.” However, Yasmin left the villa stunned when she corrected him by saying: “It was three times actually.”

Meg and Dejon
The Islanders were left shocked by tonight’s revelations

Helena’s friend Megan was left fuming at Harry for lying as she exclaimed: “You owe it to Helena to be f*****g honest, you p***k!”

It wasn’t the only time Harry was in hot water during the game, as a number of his flirtatious comments to Yas were exposed, causing huge arguments around the fire pit.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter after the drama, one viewer penned: “nah this is the best love island season we’ve had in YEARS i’m enjoying this so bad #LoveIsland.”

A second agreed: “That might be one of the best episodes of Love Island ever. Like it deserves to be in the hall of fame #LoveIsland.”

Meanwhile, a third echoed: “I think this is the best episode ever!”

The drama comes after last night’s dumping with saw Malisha brutally dumped from the villa. It came after new bombshell Harrison chose to bring Toni back from the villa after dating both her and Malisha.

Love Island 2025 airs every night at 9PM on ITV2 and ITVX. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok ,Snapchat ,Instagram ,Twitter ,Facebook ,YouTube and Threads .

The biggest holiday park party weekend of the year is back and bigger than ever.

Butlin’s Big Weekenders is an event exclusively for adults that turns the three Butlin’s holiday parks into a riot of music and drinking. The event is known for bringing the same kind of chaotic good vibes that Brits typically venture out to Magaluf or Zante in search of.

“I went to a Skegness 80s one for my stag do (was 26). The best way I can describe it was freshers week (weekend) for people in their 40s and 50s who didn’t go to uni. Just mayhem, really. At one point I was drinking rum and Coke out of a large sock whilst watching a band,” one happy customer relayed on Reddit.

Another fondly remembered: “I think on the whole we can all agree the crowd is very much the salt of the earth (myself included), however in all the times, I haven’t seen even so much as an argument, never mind a fight. The whole setup is brilliant and everyone is just on their best, albeit their most unhinged behaviour. I’m a gay guy and I’ve been in fancy dress as a woman a couple of times – nothing but good vibes from every single person I met. No homophobia, nothing.”
