i'm a celebrity get me out of here

‘When I interviewed Ruby Wax I thought she was a mean girl – but I was wrong’

Shelley Spadoni reflects on the time she interviewed comedy legend Ruby Wax and how after a wobbly start, the I’m A Celebrity star won her over completely

The one and only time I ever interviewed the inimitable Ruby Wax was in 2023, a long time before she had to contend with eating camel’s penis, or deal with run-ins with YouTube stars ‘blocking her light’.

The no-holds-barred I’m A Celebrity star, 72, has already made her mark in the jungle with her straight-talking ways and abrasive humour – and to be honest, I’m not surprised. She’s a force of nature.

Getting ready to speak to her on the phone two years ago as she prepared to set off on the UK tour of I’m Not As Well As I Thought (also the name of her book at the time), I was a little apprehensive.

I had this idea in my head – and how wrong can these preconceived notions be – that she was a brash, at-times rude, if supremely-talented comedian, writer and TV star who if she was having a bad day, would make mincemeat out of me.

And as we began chatting, my fears were, in part. realised. I kicked off by asking Ruby about some of her favourite showbiz memories over the years, of which there are too many to mention here. In hindsight, perhaps I should have warmed her up a little first.

I recall cringing after asking how she felt about finding herself in 2000 sharing a plane with the now-US President Donald Trump, which she’s already talked about around the I’m A Celeb campfire.

Quick as a whippet, she responded, slightly irritated, with, ‘Shelley, I’ve talked about this many times before – as well as hanging out with Pamela Anderson. What else would you like to know that I haven’t said before?”

Fair play. She’s got a bag full of tricks when it comes to A-lister anecdotes. But she’s also got another huge passion in life – campaigning for mental health, and getting people to open up about theirs.

Over that little hiccup, we began discussing her stage show at the time, exploring mental health – as well as her Frazzled Cafe, the online space Ruby founded in which people can share their mental health stories and struggles in a safe space.

And the star slowly came to life. The more we spoke, the more I realised, Ruby just wanted to get to the nitty gritty, the thing that clearly is a huge part of what drives her.

And during the course of our interview, she showed not only her dark sense of humour, but also a vulnerability that is quite rare in the world of celebrity.

At one point, discussing her own mental health struggles, she brought up the idea that we all have an inner voice, ‘negative loops’ inside our head s that try to bring us down, and which she still has to try very hard to ignore.

Hers, she admitted with that throaty laugh, tells her, “I’m old, I’m finished and nobody likes me. And I tend to hear them when I’m feeling anxious. It’s like chewing a wad of gum and feeling exhausted.”

Her honesty was disarming. Mindfulness, she confessed, helps her deal with those intrusive thoughts. With her typically dark humour, she said she had first read about it while being treated in a mental institution, following a devastating bout of depression.

She suggested I try it, that we all do. And by the time we said goodbye to each other, I was a big fan – and have been, ever since.

We haven’t seen much of this vulnerable, reflective side of Ruby in the jungle yet, but I think we will. And though she may have divided fans at times, the more we see of her, the more viewers will understand what makes her tick.

Meanwhile, of course, she’ll continue to be absolute TV gold. She may say it like it is if someone rubs her up the wrong way, but she’s hugely entertaining.

The mother of three is also very insightful about the human condition, something that is sure to come through Down Under, during those famous deep and meaningfuls around the campfire at night.

As she told me before I hung up the call, “We’re all on different boats Shelley, but believe me, we’re in the same storm!”

I discovered the ‘hidden’ I’m a Celebrity camp – and what I saw blew my mind

Associate Editor Tom Bryant was given a tour of the jungle where he was shown a super-exclusive treehouse totally hidden from view……where the new latecomers will cause chaos

Nestled in the trees high above the I’m A Celebrity camp is a slice of luxury that the contestants are totally oblivious to. Ever since the ten campmates were ushered into the Jungle, producers have kept the brand new structure completely camouflaged and out of view.

In fact it was so secret, after seeing it last week, I was banned from even mentioning its existence until now.

But with the arrival of Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson, the treehouse – called The Leader’s Lodge – will suddenly reveal itself. And I can confidently predict all hell will break loose.

I was given an exclusive tour of the Lodge where Vogue and Tom will live as the new leaders of the camp. They will look down – literally – on the campmates, who will be at their beck and call all day.

Not only that, but Vogue and Tom – dubbed “chief explorers of a bush explorers’ club” – will be living in luxury by comparison. They will have their own private dunny, comfy beds…and the views. Oh the views. The jungle is beautiful at the best of times. But from their vantage point, it’s extra special.

To further inflame their subjects, they will have a tannoy to summon them….

Insiders have dubbed the treehouse a “psychological experiment”. One said: “They will be looking down on their subjects….its’s going to inflame.”

As exec producer Olly Nash told me: “The two of them will arrive with a bang, and will be controlling everything that the camp do. They will control their lives, control what they are doing, and control what chores they do. The campmates will compete to get badges, but they have to impress the chief explorers to do so. It’s going to be brutal.”

Campmates….you’ve been warned..

So who are the two new latecomers?

The Mirror sat down with both Vogue Williams and Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson as they prepare to enter the jungle on Thursday.

And Vogue admits she likes the idea of playing the game like a certain hit BBC show. “I would not mind causing a bit of mischief, a bit like Traitors vibes,” she laughs. “I don’t want to annoy anyone, but I think I am very much willing to go along with the game.”

Tom is set to ruffle some feathers too…..as he admitted he was distraught about a booze ban.

“I do have a penchant for champagne, and as it is quite a naughty tipple, I confine it to the weekend,” he said. “So it is just going to feel like a very, very long week. I will never usually have a coupe of anything until Friday.”

Insiders have called the both “genius casting.” One mole said: “They are both a lot of fun – and will bring the energy to the camp and then some.”

I’m A Celebrity finalists ‘revealed’ after just days in the jungle as viewers back trio

I’m A Celebrity fans have already picked their finalists after just a few days of the ITV competition’s new series, with three stars in the running for King or Queen of the Jungle

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here has only been back on our screens for a few days, however some viewers have already picked their final three contestants – and it’s an unlikely trio. The 2025 series kicked off on Sunday night, with the likes of Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, presenter Alex Scott, comedian Eddie Kadi and TV personality Jack Osbourne entering camp.

The series began with ten stars heading to their new jungle home for the next three weeks, however we’ve set to see two new celebrities head down under this week. TV presenter Vogue Williams and Celebs Go Dating’s Tom Read Wilson are this year’s late entrants.

However, some fans are already predicted which three stars will make it to this year’s final – and many are backing rapper Aitch, comedian Ruby Wax and YouTuber star Angry Ginge – real name Morgan Burtwistle. Taking to X, one fan wrote alongside a picture of the three: “If this ain’t the final 3, I don’t want it #ImACeleb.”

Another replied: “Great jungle trio.” A third person wrote: “Final 3 are 1. Ruby 2. Aitch 3. Ginge #ImACeleb.” A fourth tweeted: “Aitch is the cutest!! I truly hope he gets to the final!! #ImACeleb.”

“Just want Aitch and Ginge in the Final, that’s all I care about #ImACeleb,” another said. A sixth wrote: “Love watching Ruby Wax since ‘Girls On Top’ in the 80’s. She needs to be kept in that camp until the final. #ImACeleb.”

While others were impressed with Aitch’s performance in last night’s Bushtucker Trial, which saw him win 10 stars for camp. “Definitely voting for Aitch to win #ImACeleb fellow manc he bossed that bush tucker trial. I think it will be out of him and Kelly Brook in the final,” one fan said.

Another wrote: “I’m not even familiar with Ginge or Aitch because I’m too old, but they have the potential to go all the way to the final i think! Great attitudes. #ImACeleb.”

It comes after some fans were calling for Ruby to be kicked off the show after some viewers considered her introductory conversation with Angry Ginge to be rude. When asked by Alex Scott what they should call him when the group arrived on the show, Angry Ginge said: “Ginge or Morgan.” Ruby replied: “We’ll never call you that.”

When asked what his surname is, Angry Ginge said: “Burtwistle,” with Ruby quipping: “Oh, I see why you changed it. It’s so not cool.” She later asked him to “get out of [her] way” in front of the cameras, joking: “Don’t ever in this show get in my way. Do you understand?

“Especially when there’s a light. You’re in my light again. I’ll just be moving you throughout the show, okay?”

However, the pair seem to have grown close on the show, having taken part in the very first Bushtucker Trial in Monday night’s episode. Ruby even said that she knew Ginge would have her back in the challenge.

I’m A Celeb latecomer Vogue Williams breaks silence as she follows famous husband into camp

Vogue Williams sits down with the Mirror to discuss going into the I’m a Celebrity jungle and how she up for a “bit of mischief….like Traitors.”

A second star has opened up about entering I’m a Celebrity as a latecomer.

Vogue Williams has already blitzed the Christmas shopping, filled the cupboards and menu-planned for the next month. But now the mum-of-three is about to swap managing everything at home for running the gauntlet in the jungle. The Irish presenter, who turned 40 last month, is entering the I’m a Celebrity camp on Thursday as a latecomer with Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson.

And she admits she likes the idea of playing the game like a certain hit BBC show. “I would not mind causing a bit of mischief, a bit like Traitors vibes,” she laughs. “I don’t want to annoy anyone, but I think I am very much willing to go along with the game.”

At home in London, life with husband Spencer Matthews and their three young children is a well-drilled operation. The couple share son Theodore, six, daughter Gigi, four, and youngest son Otto, three, and it is leaving them that is preying on her mind more than any Bushtucker Trial. “My only real worry is missing the kids and missing Spencer and missing my family,” she said.

“I have done all my Christmas shopping. I have done our food shops for the next four weeks. I have organised everything down to a tee because I kind of do all that stuff at home, so I have got everything organised so I do not have to worry when I get back.” Vogue had to think carefully about how much she told the children after agreeing to take part.

“I had to be careful telling my kids, because they have a bigger mouth than me,” she laughed. “I have ignored everybody who has been texting asking if it’s true? I am like, ‘ignore, ignore.’

“I showed the kids the last series to get them into it, and they absolutely loved it when people were having an absolute nightmare. So if I get thrown in with rats, that will be their dream.”

The star, who has built a huge following through her podcasts and radio work, says the strangest part of being Down Under is suddenly not being in charge of everyone’s day from the moment she wakes up. “It is such a strange feeling, because obviously when you have kids, you have got this massive responsibility, and the first thing that you think of in the morning is them and all day it is about how you are going to organise everything that they need. And it is a really strange feeling not to have to do that. It is very relaxing.”

Part of the reason she signed up for the hit ITV show was turning 40 and realising how set in her ways she had become.

“I am too comfortable in life,” she said. “I sleep with four pillows in my bed just for me. I think you have to push yourself out of your comfort zone, particularly when I turned 40. I was getting kind of stuck in my ways a little bit. I like things a certain way. I mean, I like to walk around the park a certain way and everything.”

She said she was oblivious to what she was getting herself in for which was a difficult concept to grasp as she was such a control-freak. “It is going to be so weird, so different. I don’t even know what is happening at all. I do not know if I am going to be flung off a building, so for someone who loves control and to have a level of organisation around things, it is really weird for me to have all of that taken away.”

But she says there was one unexpected bonus: having her phone confiscated by producers.

“My phone got taken away yesterday, and even that, it has not really bothered me,” she said. “I have not watched the last two episodes of Selling Sunset but we will wait till I get back.”

She is braced for the lack of treats to play havoc with her usually steady mood.

“You do not really know how you are going to be affected by things such as no sugar, or even salt. All those things will make it a little bit harder. I am quite a stable person emotionally, really. But I think going in there and having all that taken away, and then kind of not being with people you know, might be difficult.”

As for the home-comforts she will miss the most, she admits: “Coffee in the morning, the four pillows, my really comfortable bed, a nice toilet that I do not have to share with anyone, my LED face mask, food, loads of food, I love eating,” she said.

I’m a Celebrity latecomer Tom Read Wilson confirmed as star breaks silence – ‘I’m terrified’

Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson has opened up about being picked as a latecomer to enter the I’m a Celebrity jungle

A new contestant is being parachuted into I’m a Celebrity – and is already feeling the pressure.

Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson says he is fully braced for one particular hardship in the jungle…no champagne. The ultra-posh 39-year-old receptionist on the E4 show, also said he was looking forward to bonding with rapper Aitch when he enters the jungle as a latecomer, who he compared to Shakespeare.

Of the booze ban, he admits: “I do have a penchant for champagne, and as it is quite a naughty tipple, I confine it to the weekend. So it is just going to feel like a very, very long week. I will never usually have a coupe of anything until Friday.” And opening up about Mancunian Aitch who he will meet when he enters the jungle alongside Vogue Williams on Thursday, he said he found him “fascinating.”

“I know that he is very bendy with words, which I adore,” Tom said. “I love new coinings. It is the reason I am mad about Shakespeare, is all the endless coinings and the sense of play with lexicon. And he has got that in spades. I know he has. And I also really think of rap as modern poetry. I wish I could do it.” For Tom, any shared love of language or the arts is enough to bond campmates, no matter how different their backgrounds.

“I have always felt that it does not matter how divergent your tastes are. If your feelings about the arts are the same, it kind of pleads you together, you know. You get excited about those things,” he said.

He says that beneath his polished exterior he is “terrified” of what lies ahead. “I shan’t sugar the pill. I am terrified. I do not think I have ever been quite so frightened,” he confessed. “But it is a funny thing with fear historically for me because it is one of those things that swells and swells and swells in my mind. And as soon as I start something, I am actually much better.”

A recent conversation with a driver called Abdi, who he describes as a “philosopher”, has helped him reframe that fear. “I got into a car the other day, and I had a little bit of a wobble,” Tom said. “Without telling the driver anything, I said, ‘Well, I am just about to do this thing that is rather challenging and I do not know if I am very well equipped’.

“His name was Abdi, the driver, and he turned out to be a philosopher. And he said, look at that enormous tree outside the car. If I told you to climb that tree, you would be very daunted. But he said, once you had started, you would find a little groove to put your foot in. You would find a branch that would bear your weight.

“And before you knew it you would be in the canopy and you would not know how you got there. I could not believe it. I was so, so delighted because it just suddenly put everything in perspective. So I think I have got the same fear, but he really contextualised it for me.”

As a lover of luxury, Tom knows jungle life will be a shock to the system. The booze ban is one thing. The rations and rice are another. “I have done intermittent fasting for years now. I never knew I was in training. It does help I think. I don’t really get hungry now until 2pm,” he says.

Asked if he will bring energy to the camp, he replies: “Oh, I hope so although I gather that they are a very zestful bunch, as it is. But I suppose it is slightly incumbent on you, if you come late, to sort of be a little bit of a warm zephyr.

“Because by then, I suppose they have endured quite a lot of hardship. I mean, they probably would have done a task or two, and they certainly would be maybe food and sleep deprived by then.” He is also slightly starstruck about finally meeting Ruby Wax, thanks to a lifelong devotion to Absolutely Fabulous, which she wrote.

“I am excited and nervous about this in equal measure, because historically I have not done very well when I have been a big fan of somebody,” he admitted. “But I am a very, very big fan of Ruby Wax. In myriad ways, because, I mean, she can talk chapter and verse about Jung, which I find fascinating. And also, I am a devotee of Ab Fab, and I have been told many times that a lot of the zingers and some of the more caustic lines in Ab Fab were Ruby’s.”

Tom says he will miss the “small people” in his life most of all. “I have got five godkids and three nephews, all of whom I speak to multiple times a week and see multiple times a month. So that is going to be a real wrench.”

To prepare, he has leaned on former jungle stars including his close friend Roman Kemp. “Roman Kemp, who is a dear friend, whom I love, he said, you must make sure that you wean yourself off coffee at least . five days before,” Tom explained. “Because, he said, that is the biggest shock. You suddenly crash and you get headaches. And that is terribly good advice for me.”

Aitch I’m A Celeb trial first look as twist leaves even Ant and Dec shocked

Aitch is the next celeb to face a Bushtucker trial, called Jungle Doomsday, and a twist in the game leaves even seasoned hosts Ant and Dec shocked, as the rapper fumes ‘you dirty bean’

As rapper Aitch undertook the next Bushtucker Trial, a twist in the I’m A Celeb challenge left everyone shocked, including hosts Ant and Dec.

It was revealed in last night’s (17 November) show that the rapper would be taking on the next challenge. The new trial is called Jungle Doomsday, and the first look shows that Aitch has to hunt through a bunker for stars for the camp. In typical I’m A Celeb fashion, many of these stars a tucked away in jars filled with scorpions and other creatures.

But as Aitch hunted around for the stars, a voice came over the tannoy and said: “Warning cryo chamber malfunction. Awakening snake unit.”

This left Aitch fuming, as he yelled “Oh, you dirty bean!” But it also shocked Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, despite their many years on the show.

The pair had been watching Aitch try to complete the task via a monitor, but when they heard about the snakes, they looked up in horror. “What?” they both yelled, unable to contain their disbelief.

Nevertheless, Aitch got stuck into the task and quickly located the star in a scorpion jar. Before long, he was trying to find the one inside the snake unit and approached the creatures with his now familiar humour.

“Hello, boys, how are we?” he asked as he moved towards the snakes. He soon found the star but discovered it was attached to a string and he would have to untie it. Trying to calm his nerves, the rapper by paying homage to the hosting duo.

He started to sing Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble, a song put out by PJ & Duncan AKA, the performing name used by Ant & Dec when they used to make music. It was released in 1994, which is five years before Aitch, real name Harrison James Armstrong, was born.

Aitch has become a firm fan favourite for his light-hearted attitude on the show, alongside content creator Angry Ginge. “Angry Ginge and Aitch are killing me. Too funny those two,” one fan wrote on social media. Another added that the pair should win the show. “Aitch & Ginge = best duo! For the win!”

The rapper is thought to be the highest paid celeb on this year’s show, with a rumoured paycheck of £250k. The 25-year-old is thought to have been brought on the show to being in younger viewers and his 2.2 million followers on Instagram will surely help with that.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs every night at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.

I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked airs live on ITV2 every night directly after the ITV1 show. You can also stream it anytime on ITVX.

Aitch and Angry Ginge’s I’m A Celeb pay modest compared to huge stars as they steal show

The rapper and content creator have quickly become fan favourites, and despite taking home huge fees, their pay is still modest compared to some stars who have previously appeared on the show

I’m A Celeb fan favourites Aitch and Angry Ginge are taking home huge paychecks for their stints in the jungle, but compared to some bigger names that have previously been on the show, it looks like pennies.

The two joined the hit ITV show on Sunday (16 November) and within 48 hours, they had stolen the show with some fans saying they were “way too funny”. Ahead of the series starting, the rumoured salaries of this year’s cast were revealed, and Aitch was the highest paid celeb, banking £250,000, with Angry Ginge will pocket just £100,000 this year.

While these numbers are huge, it is far from the most ITV are thought to have shelled out to get a big star in the I’m A Celeb camp. Some figures have been estimated to be over £1 million, making Aitch and Angry Ginge’s fees look tiny. Here are the reportedly highest paid celebs and their fees…

Coleen Rooney

Coleen is thought to be one of the highest paid celebs in the show’s history, having banked a rumoured £1.5 million. She appeared on I’m A Celeb in 2024, and she reached the final, ultimately coming second to McFly’s Danny Jones.

Her enormous fee was thought to be the result of having made so many headlines two years prior, when she claimed fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy had leaked posts from Coleen’s private Instagram account to the press, a move for which she was later dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’. Rebekah sued Coleen for libel, but the case was dismissed by the courts.

Nigel Farage

The Reform politician also allegedly took home £1.5 million for his I’m A Celeb stint. In 2023, he came third, behind Sam Thompson and Tony Bellew.

Nigel’s time on the show was controversial, as he wasn’t shy about sharing his political beliefs with his campmates, causing arguments with some, particularly Fred Sirieix and Nella Rose.

When he was first introduced, he said: “I’m known for politics, for Brexit, and I’m a hero to some people and an absolute villain to millions. In the jungle you’re going to find the real me. You might like me more, you might dislike me more, but you will at least find out.”

Noel Edmonds

The Deal or No Deal star was the programme’s highest paid participant for five years, having entered the Jungle in 2018 with a fee of £600k. As he was only in the show for nine days, that meant he earned over £66k a day.

After leaving, Noel expressed his disappointment in not being on the show for longer. “I was hoping to hang around for a little bit longer,” he said. “I hadn’t even actually got into my stride.”

Boy George

Boy George, who joined the show in 2022, was said to be pocketing £800k initially, but that figure dropped to £500k. He addressed his pay, pledging to be worth every penny the ITV producers spent on him. He said: “I feel like I’ve been paid well for it so I’m going to be as Boy George as I can.”

Harry Redknapp

Eventual winner Harry Redknapp was also reportedly paid £500k for his time on the show. At the time, it was rumoured that the BBC were courting him for Strictly Come Dancing, and Harry later revealed that the I’m A Celeb fee was double that which was offered by the BBC. He said: “What happened was I’m a Celebrity came and offered me twice as much money so I went there instead!”

Caitlyn Jenner

The year after Harry went on the show, former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner also took away £500k for her time on the show. This huge fee was even addressed on the show, with Dec saying: “We’ve got reality TV royalty Caitlyn Jenner. Most people come into the jungle to lose a few pounds…” Ant then playfully added: “But she’s going to be gaining 500,000 of them according to the papers.”

Real reason Spencer Matthews won’t be flying to Australia to support Vogue Williams

Vogue Williams has reportedly signed up for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! ten years after husband Spencer Matthews was removed from camp three days into the 2015 contest

Spencer Matthews will not be able to fly to Australia to support wife Vogue Williams during her time on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!, it is reported.

The TV personality, 37, is instead in Cape Town, South Africa, where he is gearing up for his third full Ironman triathlon, part of a challenge of seven in seven continents in just 21 days. This would secure Spencer, who was in Made in Chelsea for four years, a Guinness World Record.

The timing, though, is so unfortunate that Spencer won’t even be able to watch Vogue, 40, take on Bush Tucker Trials as she navigates the jungle’s challenges and she won’t know if he completes his “Project Seven”. A source said it was extremely unlikely the couple could avoid the diary clash, as Spencer has just finished his second triathlon — taken in Arizona — and must complete the set within the 21-day deadline.

And Vogue, meanwhile, has been tipped as “one of the most glam signings” I’m a Celebrity has had in years. A source said: “It has been a hard decision to go on the show, because it will mean so much time away from her kids, but she wants to fight her fears and go for it.”

READ MORE: I’m A Celeb star Aitch reveals campmate has broken huge show rule alreadyREAD MORE: Lisa Riley makes shock I’m A Celebrity admission – revealing which host is ‘juicy’

Spencer himself was in the jungle — for a mere three days in 2015 until he was booted out for taking steroids and failing to tell producers beforehand. In an interview since, he said “vanity” was the reason for his misdemeanour.

Now he can’t even get there to support his wife of seven years. Vogue, the Irish presenter and model, faces the creepy crawlies in the Australian jungle as one of the show’s late arrivals.

A source told the Daily Mail: “The timing isn’t ideal at all, but sometimes these things happen, and Vogue and Spencer’s diaries just clash. Of course, Spencer would want nothing more than to support Vogue in Australia and be there waiting for her when she leaves the jungle but both committed to their own projects, and unfortunately, the schedules overlap.

“They’ll both be missing their children, who will stay in London, continue attending school, and no doubt support their parents from afar – catching Vogue on TV whenever they can.”

Spencer’s latest extreme challenge has seen him embark on a global mission to complete seven triathlons, each involving swimming, cycling and running, across seven continents in just 21 days.

The father of three, originally from Grantham, Lincolnshire, has already ticked off Europe and Arizona, and is now flying to Cape Town for race number three, all while documenting the journey on his podcast, Untapped.

And in the summer, the TV personality completed 30 desert marathons in 30 days, earning a Guinness World Record, a feat he now hopes to replicate with his triathlon mission.

I’m a Celeb Kelly Brook’s ‘worst nightmare’ in camp revealed by DJ pal Toby Anstis

Kelly Brook’s Heart colleague and friend Toby Anstis backs his ‘bonkers’ friend to make the final three – as he also discloses her unusual jungle prep

I’m a Celeb star Kelly Brook’s worst jungle nightmare has been revealed. Kelly’s close pal and Heart colleague Toby Anstis has backed his “bonkers” friend to make the final three – and revealed her pre-jungle prep involved scoffing sausage rolls.

Toby said the public would fall in love with her “funny, quirky and eccentric” side – which included a unique take on getting ready for life in camp.

He admits: “The last thing I saw her taking a bite of was a sausage roll, and she said: ‘Toby, I’m getting ready for starving in camp.’ I said you don’t really want to be doing that, you want to be slowing down your eating before you go in….you’ve got to train your tummy not to want food, but there you go. She eats well but she likes a bit of junk food, like we all do.”

Before going into the Jungle, Kelly previously said she had every intention to go to the gym, and even go on hikes to prepare her body. But she later admitted she had taken a different approach instead, saying: “I haven’t done any of that…I have also been fattening myself up in the run-up.”

READ MORE: Classic I’m a Celeb stunt dramatically scrapped because of health and safety

Despite this, Toby – who took part on the show in 2006 – backed his friend to get to the final of the ITV show. But he said he feared for her doing the eating trials – calling them her “worst nightmare”.

He admits: “I did the show a few years ago, and she was asking me all about it. The main concern for her was having to eat those horrible things, and she was hoping not to do that…that’s her worst nightmare. But I think she’ll be really popular on it, and be in the last three. I think it will be her, Martin Kemp and Angry Ginge.”

Toby says the public will quickly learn to love her. He says: “I don’t think she’ll mind me saying that. She is eccentric…she has these English Rose quirks about her. Things that she says. She’s sort of an old soul on young shoulders. She is quite wise, that kind of eccentricity. She’s brilliant and slightly bonkers at the same time.”

But Toby admitted there could still endure some tough times. “When you are thrown in there and you get cabin fever and it’s hot and the days are long and there’s nothing to do, it depends on the mix of people and the personalities and if you don’t click it can be quite hard,” he says.

Kelly vowed at the weekend that she was set to strip off for the famous Jungle shower. She begged I’m a Celebrity viewers to accept her curves in the wake of getting trolled over her figure.

She said: “Obviously, I am not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore. You know, life changes and your body changes. And I just hope people are accepting of me and how I look now, and not comparing me to how I used to look. You know, I am a very different person. I am older, but I am still strong and I am still fit, and that is the most important thing.” Instead, she said she had “embraced” her curves.

“I feel really confident. I feel like my body is in good shape. I just feel great,” she says. “I am 46, I embrace my curves. I embrace my body. I ran a marathon this year….so I am proud of that.”

Furious I’m A Celeb fans complain they couldn’t vote after being locked out of ITV app

Comedian Ruby Wax and social media star Morgan Burtwistle, known as Angryginge, will be the first celebrities to face an eating challenge on this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

I’m A Celebrity fans have been left furious after they encountered issues with voting on the app during last night’s show.

The ITV1 show, filmed in Australia, began with five of the celebrities flying over a beach in a helicopter, which they were told they would be jumping out of. Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, model Kelly Brook, rapper Aitch, comedian Eddie Kadi and former EastEnders star Shona McGarty were all seen skydiving in the programme.

The five celebrities were then made to enter a wooden structure and wade through offal and slime to find a key fob that would gain them access to a getaway car taking them to camp. Aitch, real name Harrison Armstrong, and Kadi won the challenge and got in the car where they were met with cocktails.

The three other celebrities entered the Cockie van which had a giant beetle structure on top of it.

The five other campmates – Wax, Burtwistle, soap star Lisa Riley, TV presenter Jack Osbourne and sports broadcaster Alex Scott – missed out on skydiving and arrived at a luxury villa before battling it out for a seat in the getaway car.

The celebrities had their heads placed inside boxes filled with snakes and were asked to put their hand in a box of green ants to unscrew bolts and release the fob for the car. Osbourne and Burtwistle won the challenge, while Brook, Kemp, McGarty, Riley, Wax and Scott were left riding in the Cockie van, alongside Kiosk Kev.

After arriving at camp, Jack cooked a steak dinner with mushrooms and avocado for Eddie, Aitch and Angryginge while the others were given emu neck to eat.

Fans were then able to vote for the first Bushtucker trial of the series but some viewers have branded the show a fix and claimed the app wasn’t working.

Taking to X one person moaned: “ I’m a celebrity is a fix. Can’t vote cos the app doesn’t work.” A second said: “Would be nice if they sorted this app out, it didn’t work for a lot of people and we weren’t able to vote.” While a third asked: “Is anyone having issues with the voting app? Why isn’t it letting me vote??”

Comedian Ruby Wax and social media star Morgan Burtwistle, known as Angryginge, will be the first celebrities to face an eating challenge on this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly told campmates the bushtucker trial will take place at “revolting restaurant” The Divey, during Sunday’s debut episode.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs daily at 9pm on ITV1.

I’m A Celeb fans all say the same thing about Jack Osbourne as he joins the show

Jack Osbourne has admitted he feels ‘very nervous’ as he joined other famous faces on I’m A Celebrity, but said his late father Ozzy would have encouraged him to do his best

Fans of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! have all been saying the same thing about Jack Osbourne, who has joined the show in Australia. Ozzy Osbourne’s son has joined the likes of comedian Ruby Wax, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, model Kelly Brook and Emmerdale star Lisa Riley on the show, presented by Ant and Dec.

Completing the line-up are rapper Aitch, comedian Eddie Kadi, EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, sports broadcaster Alex Scott and social media star Morgan Burtwistle, who is known as Angry Ginge.

As viewers enjoyed the first episode this evening, many complemented Jack on his looks, with a person writing on X: “Is Jack Osbourne a bit handsome??” Another wrote: “I fancy jack osbourne so much.”

READ MORE: I’m A Celeb’s Ant and Dec mercilessly mock Aitch as rapper joins jungle

“Jack Osbourne looks really good,” a third posted. “Ok… why is Jack Osbourne kinda hot?” another viewer tweeted, while another said: “Jack osbourne looks so gorg in im a celeb”.

A viewer was more hesitant, posting: “Hear me out but… jack osbourne is hot?” Another said: “God i love jack osbourne.” Other proclaimed the TV star their winner from the very first episode.

Jack shared he was joining the show with “very mixed emotions” but added that he thought his dad would tell him to “just f***ing do it.” The TV personality has been very open about his grief following his father’s death, talking about it on his podcast with his mother, Sharon, and sister Kelly.

Announcing he would be joining I’m A Celeb, Jack posted on social media on Tuesday: “Hey folks! Well I was told to keep this a secret but the cats out of the bag now. I’m headed into the jungle for a few weeks. Why you might ask?

“I guess I’m just a sucker for punishment hahaha. My team will be managing my social media while I’m away, so don’t worry, they will be keeping you all updated. Wish me luck cause I’m gonna need it. Before I go, does anyone have a good recipe for how to cook a crocodile?”

Earlier this week, Jack told us he only learnt he was heading Down Under a couple of weeks ago, which he described as a “last-ditch effort” after someone else seemingly dropped out of the show. “I only knew I was coming out here like 10 days ago. So it was literally 10 days,” he said.

Before heading to the jungle, he spent a few days loading up on comfort food. He said: “I stocked up on some chocolate digestives and some Pot Noodles… I’m going to live the high life.” The TV star, 39, admitted he expects some personal topics to come up as the cast bond, but said there are limits on what he is prepared to share on national television when it comes to family matters, including his late dad Ozzy, who passed away aged 76 in July.

Asked whether he will open up during the late-night chats the show is known for, Jack said: “I mean, it’s hard not to. I mean, I’ve done my fair share of projects with people in situations like this, like Adrenaline Junkie or things like that. I think it’s just a natural part of bonding with people.

“And I think this show would fall under the trauma bonding kind of category. I think things will naturally come up and I’m not necessarily going to stray away from too many things. But obviously there are certain things that I probably won’t discuss on a nationally televised TV show that’s filmed 24/7.”

Jack, who recently celebrated his 40th birthday, said he is “not a big bug person” and feels “very nervous” for the show. The TV presenter said his mother Sharon and sister Kelly have given him their full support. He added: “Mum and Kelly, yeah they are absolutely going to be watching. They are supportive.”

I’m A Celeb’s Ant and Dec mercilessly mock Aitch as rapper joins jungle

Manchester rapper Aitch, 25, is among the famous faces on I’m A Celebrity this week and while introducing him, presenters Ant and Dec mocked him for his stage name

Ant and Dec mercilessly mocked Aitch as the rapper joined I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in the Australian jungle. The 25-year-old, whose real name is Harrison James Armstrong, rose to fame in 2018 with the track Straight Rhyme. The rapper’s debut studio album, Close to Home, reached number two on the UK Albums Chart.

Introducing Aitch on the show, Dec said: “We’ve got one of the biggest names in British music – H.” Ant then joked: “H from Steps, that’s a good booking.” But Dec replied: “No, it’s the rapper.” Co-host Ant then said it was a “tragedy” that Ian Watkins – best known by his stage name of H from Steps – wasn’t on I’m A Celeb.

READ MORE: How Aitch became ‘most hated man in Manchester for 40 minutes’

“H from Steps is rapping now. What a tragedy,” Ant said, before Dec continued: “On a diet of rice and beans Aitch is probably worried he’s not going to rap for three whole weeks.” Ant concluded: “That’s rap, with a capital C.”

Among this year’s contestants alongside Aitch are reality TV star Jack Osbourne, comedian Ruby Wax, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, model Kelly Brook and Emmerdale star Lisa Riley. Completing the line-up are comedian Eddie Kadi, EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, sports broadcaster Alex Scott and social media star Morgan Burtwistle, who is known as Angryginge.

Aitch joined Eddie, Shona, Kelly and Martin skydiving from a helicopter on to a beach. The five celebrities then had to wade through offal and slime to find a key fob to get access to a getaway car taking them to camp.

As the rapper joined the celebrities on the show, fans have been left wondering if he will cause as much controversy Down Under as he has throughout his career. One of Aitch’s most infamous moments came in 2022, when an advertisement for his debut album Close to Home mistakenly covered a mural of Joy Division icon Ian Curtis in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

The artwork, which was painted by street artist Akse P19, had become a local landmark, and its disappearance sparked outrage among Mancunians. Aitch was blindsided by the backlash, and told BBC Breakfast: “I felt like the most hated person in Manchester for about 40 minutes.”

He recalled discovering the mistake on social media, saying: “I seen it on Twitter, that was the first time I seen it…There was an outrage burst of like, ‘What’s Aitch doing putting his album over Ian’s mural’, and then I was like, ‘Oh god, what’s this?'”

The rapper moved quickly, contacting Amazon and Akse P19 to stop the billboard from being erected and arrange for the mural to be restored. “We just put a stop to mine straight away,” he added.

Strictly’s Vicky Pattison bursts into tears as she admits ‘I’m very overwhelmed’

Vicky Pattison has admitted she spent last weekend ‘bursting into tears’ after competing in the latest round of the BBC show after she topped the leaderboard

Strictly Come Dancing star Vicky Pattison has admitted she spent last weekend ‘bursting into tears’ after competing in the latest round of the BBC show. The Geordie Shore legend , 37, had been awarded a near-perfect score of 39 following her Tango to Taylor Swift hit The Fate Of Ophelia, and found herself at the top of the leaderboard.

The former Loose Women star, who won I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in the years following her rise to fame, made an appearance alongside professional partner Kai Widdrington on Friday’s edition of Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, where she explained to host Fleur East just how much the successful result had meant to her.

She said: “On social media, someone said ‘I fear Vicky Pattison might chuck herself off that balcony if she ever gets a 40!’ and I fear they are right. For someone like me who had never danced before and was so scared at the start of the process, even now who still has wobbles, that’s a moment I never thought would be mine. I’m still feeling very overwhelmed and I spent Sunday just bursting into tears.”

As a congratulatory gift, Vicky was then presented with a framed picture of the leaderboard and a cushion with judge Anton DuBeke holding up his 10 paddle up on it. Vicky joked: “I am going straight home to bed with this!” Meanwhile, Vicky is hopeful that she and her co-stars will remain friends in the longterm and is confident that it will happen because she is still friends with her fellow showbiz stars from other reality shows.

She said: “For me, all the celebs are absolutely gorgeous. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be doing Strictly this year because everyone is so lovely. When we lost Dani Dyer originally, it was so devastating and heart-breaking. But then we got the gorgeous Amber, and we’ve got by Bal, La Voix, Caz Carney. I just feel so lucky and I hope we’re gonna be friends forever.

“That sounds a bit soppy, but maybe I am a bit soppy! I’m still friends with Ferne [McCann] and I was in the jungle 10 years ago with her. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we’re gonna be friends forever!”

Following the performance, Craig Revel Horwood was full of praise, describing the performance as “perfect”, while Anton admitted he was “a bit stunned” because it was “that good”.

He enthused: “I thought it was absolutely marvellous. I loved it. Your line is the best line I’ve ever seen. It was immaculate.” Meanwhile, Motsi Mabuse and head judge Shirley Ballas declared it their “dance of the night”, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Motsi gushed: “Last week I said you were a contender for the final, and this dance just proved what I meant. You confirmed my intuition. Without a doubt, you are on fire. Whatever is giving you that fire – keep it up. This was for me, till now, the dance of the night.”

After the show, Vicky took to Instagram to share her disbelief, posting a snapshot of the leaderboard with the caption: “This can not be real”. Saturday’s episode marked the halfway point of the series, with nine couples taking to the dance floor.

I’m A Celebrity bosses confused after Christine McGuinness’ wild claims

The latest series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is due to hit our screens this weekend with celebs like Jack Osbourne, Martin Kemp and Ruby Wax set to take part

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! bosses have been left stumped after Christine McGuinness repeatedly claimed she would be appearing on the show, when she isn’t part of this year’s line-up.

Just weeks ago the mum-of-three hinted that she would be going into the jungle but she hasn’t been announced to be in the show by ITV. It has been said that ITV bosses are “angry” and “confused” after the star suggested she could be taking on the challenge.

The 37-year-old seems to say she would be on I’m A Celeb when she appeared on the Pride of Britain Awards red carpet back in October. Christine said she is usually asked “every year” but the thoughts of leaving her children has always been overwhelming.

But she said this year could be different as she said she thought “F*** it, why not” which many took as thought they could expect to see her on their screens.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Christine said: “I always get asked and it is one of those shows, every year, would you ever do it?

“And I always say there’s no way, I don’t think I could be away from my children, and I would be scared of the creepy crawlies, I have sensory issues and I have never been outside of Europe so just flying over there would be quite a challenge.

“Trying to get over to the jungle might be a bit of a mission but yeah, let’s see. I think this year most likely I’d be like f*** it, why not.”

The full contestant list was released this week and Christine’s name wasn’t on it. It’s thought bosses aren’t too pleased with Christine’s claims and instead think she should have shut the rumours down.

A source said: “ITV bosses were definitely confused when they saw the reports suggesting Christine had ‘signed up’ for I’m A Celeb.

“Usually, a celebrity would shut down speculation, so Christine appearing to confirm her appearance really infuriated those working behind the scenes.”

Christine shares three children, twins Penelope and Leo, and daughter Felicity, with ex-husband Paddy McGuinness. The pair still live together and co-parents their three children.

The parents have highlighted their children’s autism in recent years and Christine has also spoken about being diagnosed with autism and ADHS herself.

Christine has recently said that she had to consider whether she wanted to remain in the spotlight or not in order to protect her kids.

Speaking to The Mirror, she said: “I’ve had to think if I am in the right industry, and if I can continue. It may be what I enjoy and love, but when i think about my children and how the attention is going to affect their lives I have questioned it and if it’s right for me.”

Fears I’m A Celeb star Kelly Brook will quit before the show has even started

Loose Women star Kelly Brook is about to head into the I’m A Celebrity jungle but has admitted that she is afraid of just about everything prior to the show’s launch

Kelly Brook has sparked fears that she could quit I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! before the show has even started. The model, 45, is one of the famous faces gearing up to take part in Ant and Dec’s reality show and recently landed in Australia but recent admissions from her could mean that it’s all over before it has even begun.

The Loose Women star will have to live in the jungle with her fellow celebrities, which include big names like Emmerdale legend Lisa Riley, Spandau Ballet singer Martin Kemp and presenter Alex Scott amongst a host of others, and face all sorts of unpleasant things. Kelly discussed her phobias during an appearance on the How to Fail podcast – and it seems she may struggle.

Speaking to host Elizabeth Day, she admitted: “I’m even scared to get the Tube at Leicester Square… I wait for someone to be in front and behind me so I’m sandwiched. I’m scared of heights, snakes, spiders — all of those things.”

Kelly previously claimed she would never take part in the survival reality show and had always ruled it out because of her fears, but, upon announcing that she has changed her mind, she admitted that she now “didn’t give a damn”.

She said: “What changed? Really good question. A friend of mine got asked to have a meeting with the producers of I’m A Celebrity and I said, You have to do it, I love watching it, what an incredible life experience… I was thinking, why can’t I give myself that advice? I realised it was basically out of fear, and I thought, it’s about time that I live my don’t give a damn era!”

Before flying out, Kelly was spotted at Heathrow Airport with husband Jeremy Parisi as she prepared to say goodbye to home comforts – and her beloved dog, Teddy.

She admitted: “I am going to miss my dog Teddy and my husband Jeremy.” According to insiders, Kelly went above and beyond to make sure her pampered pooch was well cared for during her time away.

A source told The Sun: “Kelly is besotted with Teddy and he is used to fine dining, so Kelly spent all hours making sure the freezer was piled high with his special dinners.”

They added: “There’s everything from poached salmon with cavolo nero cabbage through to venison steak with Chantenay carrots. She didn’t have much time to get everything sorted among all her work commitments but catering for Teddy was the priority.”

Reports also claim Kelly even labelled Teddy’s meals to stop her husband from accidentally eating them.

Kelly, who married Italian model in 2022, is said to have finally been convinced to enter the jungle after years of saying she’d never do it.

Back in 2018, she told The Sun: “I hate confined spaces. I don’t want to eat eyeballs or sheep testicles. Even if I had a huge tax bill I had to pay it urgently, I still wouldn’t do it.” Now, seven years later, Kelly has had a change of heart – and fans are eager to see how the glamorous TV personality copes with bugs, bushtucker trials and jungle life.

Lisa Riley to avoid I’m A Celeb’s toughest challenge

Crocodile feet, fish eyes, a live spider – they’ve all been on the menu for I’m A Celeb stars over the years…

I’m A Celeb’s toughest trials are undoubtedly the eating and drinking nightmares where real animal parts are served up or whisked into a smoothie, with everything from croc feet to fish eyes – and in one particularly grim episode involving Ferne McCann, a live spider – on the menu.

Each series there tends to be a vegetarian or two who doesn’t have to take part in the animal-chomping spectacle. This year Lisa Riley, 49, falls into that category. The Mandy Dingle actress is a committed vegetarian who in recent years has lost 12 stone with rigorous veggie meals and by cutting out bread and booze.

The Emmerdale legend, who arrived in Australia on Sunday, will not only be served up special meals in camp – meaning no kangaroo tail for her – but when it comes to the trials, she’ll have fruit-based vegetarian options.

Fans have long insisted that vegetarians get an easier ride on eating trials, with many saying that while the likes of Bev Callard – who is vegan – had to eat fermented plums and cheesefruit, it wasn’t as challenging as munching sheep penis or deer testicle like some of her co-stars had to.

In 2019, I’m A Celeb bosses announced that live insects would no longer be eaten on the show – with only dead creatures consumed on the show. Wildlife presenter Chris Packham said he was “very pleased” and called it a “first step”.

Lisa joked that she was arriving in Australia to reprise the Emmerdale spin-off Dingles Down Under. She told reporters: “I am a Dingle I can cope with anything, I’m from the north… we are made of tough skin.

“We did Dingles Down Under many years so and I feel it’s only right we do it again.” Lisa also insisted she could handle bugs crawling about, saying: “I’ve worked on a farm and it’s part of the job.”

Lisa’s character Mandy – who she has played for 10 years – is set to take a break from Emmerdale, with a source explaining that her disappearance from the soap while she appears on I’m A Celeb explained by her leaving the village to visit a pal.

An insider told The Sun: “Mandy’s exit will be lowkey and very brief”. They continued: “Lisa filmed her scenes last week, Mandy goes to visit friends and will be back before you know it.

ITV I’m A Celebrity bosses make major rule change to trials to shake up show

I’m A Celebrity bosses will make a major change to proceedings this year on the ITV jungle show to stop one person hogging the limelight in a huge rule shake-up

I’m A Celebrity bosses are clamping down on celebrities doing repeated trials and hogging the limelight in a major rule shake-up. We can reveal how contestants will now no longer be able to do more than two Bushtucker trials in a row.

Insiders claim it gives more celebs the chance to shine on the show and endear themselves to the public. But it also comes after a row last year over Dean McCullough, who was voted to do a total of seven Bushtucker Trials, two of which he ended early.

Even Ant McPartlin expressed his frustration with Dean repeatedly being put up for trial, saying: “Who’s still voting for Dean, I don’t get it.”

At the time, some fans were convinced he was faking his tears to ensure he was repeatedly voted for by the public. Dean later insisted his tears were “100 per cent real.”

Nigel Farage, who took part in 2023, has previously lamented how those doing challenges got “25 percent of the airtime”.

The rule change will also effectively prevent the public targeting certain celebrities as much as before. Stars such as Helen Flanagan and Gillian McKeith were repeatedly picked on by viewers who were keen to see them suffer in trials.

Viewers will be unable to vote for that person for a third consecutive day, but then the system will be “reset” allowing that person to be voted for again.

A source said: “Celebrities all want the opportunity to take on a Bushtucker Trial and bring home stars for camp. Viewers would much prefer to see different celebrities take on the iconic Bushtucker Trials as opposed to the same person every day.”

Bosses are keen for more contestants to shine in the camp, and have taken on feedback from previous celebs on the show who want the trials to be spread more evenly.

A source added: “This is a great move for fans of the show so we don’t see the same faces doing the trials, as well as uncovering new favourites. Plus it’s a win-win for the celebs too, who are keen for more chances to get their personalities across.”

Several contestants have done multiple trials over the years.

Waterloo road actor Adam Thomas performed 12 trials when he took part back in 2016, while Scarlett Moffat and Janice Dickinson undertook 10 in 2016 and 2007 respectively. Jacqueline Jossa did 10 Trials in 2019, while Helen Flanagan did seven trials in 2012, of which a number were aborted.

Celebs flying Down Under include Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, YouTuber Morgan Burtwistle, known as Angry Ginge, EastEnders actress Shona McGarty comedian Ruby Wax, TV presenter Alex Scott and Jack Osbourne. They are to be joined by rapper Aitch, and presenter Vogue Williams.

Ant and Dec are returning to host the hit series, which is in its 25th year. A source close to the show said: “Producers are expected to pull out the stops to ensure the 25th series is the most memorable yet.”

Secret I’m A Celebrity Angry Ginge bond rumbled before show starts

I’m A Celebrity’s Angry Ginge might have an already-formed ally in the Australian jungle after touching down in Brisbane ahead of this year’s series of the hit ITV reality contest

He’s already frontrunner to be crowned king of the jungle, and now Angry Ginge‘s bond has been rumbled days before the start of I’m A Celebrity. The YouTuber is the bookies’ favourite to outlast his famous fellow campmates Down Under.

But a little-known bond has been rumbled which could give the YouTube sensation an added boost in camp. The 23-year-old, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, is verry pally with a fellow campmate-to-be.

Both Angry Ginge and rapper Aitch – real name Harrison Armstrong – will be entering the I’m A Celeb camp. But it certainly won’t be the first time the pair have met.

READ MORE: I’m A Celebrity star Aitch pictured arriving in Australia as he joins huge namesREAD MORE: I’m A Celebrity’s Shona McGarty’s telling three words after fiancé split

The duo have collaborated on a number of occasions for projects like the ABC game. They have also appeared together in other videos with pals such as Tays.

And they’ve also been known to mock each other for fun. In one clip together, Aitch joked that Ginge is the person who “moves the least and sweats the most”.

While the pair might be know each other, it’s unlikely their bonds will already have been formed with other celebs who have since landed Down Under.

Speaking in Brisbane, Ginge said he was going to miss his mum and his beloved Manchester United the most. e told the Mirror: “I did a Duke of Edinburgh bronze award at school so I am not too bad at camping.

“One of the reasons I vowed to never go to Australia was because of the spiders and animals so I am hoping the hotel is secure.”

Other stars to have already touched down in Australia include model Kelly Brook. While she refused to reveal her appearance when questioned at Brisbane airport, the presenter was in fine spirits.

Speaking to journalists who had congregated ready for her arrival, she said: “It was a long flight.” But she teased and tried to dismiss I’m A Celeb links.

She joked: “I am looking forward to seeing my Auntie Sheila and distant cousin – I haven’t seen her for a long time.”

She added: “I am not sure how I feel about sleeping under the stars – hopefully I will have a spare room. I am looking forward to seeing koalas and the kangaroos.”

It’s thought the 45-year-old left a number of treats for her pet pooch Teddy, at home in order to distract him from her potentially long awaited stay. Speaking earlier at Heathrow Airport, Kelly shared her emotions, saying: “I am going to miss my dog Teddy and my husband Jeremy.”

A source had previously told The Sun: “Kelly is besotted with Teddy and he is used to fine dining, so Kelly spent all hours making sure the freezer was piled high with his special dinners.”

Despite the long journey, Kelly looked fresh-faced and raring to go with a full face of makeup and rocking a stunning yellow dress.

However, the star kept tight-lipped about her I’m A Celeb appearance.

Kelly joked as she arrived at Brisbane Airport: “I haven’t seen my auntie Sheila for a long time so I can’t wait to see her, and I’m so excited that you’re all so excited for me.”

Asked about how she is with creepy-crawlies, Kelly quipped there might be some in her “relative’s” garden and added: “I don’t know what you’re talking about, I’m visiting a distant cousin.

“I’m looking forward to surfing. Like I said, I’m looking forward to seeing my distant cousin that I’ve not seen for a long, long time… the koalas and the kangaroos.

“So much to look forward to.”

Asked about sleeping under the stars, she replied: “I’m hoping that I’ve got a spare room. I’m not sure about that.”

She said she is an “Australian sunset” in her yellow and orange dress – before being covered by an umbrella from light rain.

She joked: “Is it raining? Wherever I go I take the weather with me.”

Yesterday Kelly appeared in good spirits as she was spotted at Heathrow Airport just days ahead of her I’m A Celebrity stint.

The model tried to keep a low profile with dark sunglasses covering her face.

Kelly is finally set for I’m A Celebrity — years after insisting she would never do it.

She has been wooed with a big-money ITV deal to head into the jungle.

A source said: “Show bosses have been after Kelly as a campmate for years and think she could possibly be their sexiest contestant ever.

“She’s glamorous, witty and a familiar face to ITV audiences, having appeared as a panellist for Loose Women and other shows.

“She’s guaranteed to make perfect TV viewing.”

The insider added of the Heart FM DJ: “Many viewers will be excited to see her strip off for the famous jungle waterfall show too.”

In 2018 Kelly insisted she would never take part in the series.

KELLY’S FEARS

It comes after Kelly revealed the secret fear that could see her struggle in the I’m A Celebrity camp.

Kelly, told Loose Women that she struggled to go anywhere without her husband Jeremy Parisi, 40 – and would even turn down trips if he could not attend.

She said: “I’m very co-dependent. Jeremy and I just want to be together all the time.

“Well I definitely want to be with him all the time. Not sure if he would say the same!

“We schedule things to make sure we are together.”

Kelly will be facing the challenges of the jungle alone without Jeremy.

During the programme, Loose Women panelist Jane Moore asked Kelly: “But if you were, say, going abroad for the night or whatever, on a job, would he come with you?”

Kelly replied: “Yeah he would either come with me or I just wouldn’t go.”

In response, Mariella Frostrup joked: “I’m feeling quite suffocated just listening to you!”

The Sun revealed that THREE soap legends, a chat show icon and a TV pin up will be among the twelve stars heading into the camp.

Roman Kemp’s sister Harley Moon’s heartbreaking confession over their bond

Harley Moon Kemp has revealed that she never receives an invite to the pub from her brother Roman as they made their debut together on Celebrity Race Across The World

Harley Moon Kemp has revealed that she never receives an invite to the pub from her brother, Roman. The photographer,36, who is the daughter of TV legend Martin Kemp and pop singer Shirlie Kemp, has stayed largely out of the spotlight, whilst her sibling, 32, has carved out a successful career as a radio host, One Show presenter and general television personality.

But as she and her younger brother appeared on the first episode of Celebrity Race Across The World on Thursday night, the pair shared an exchange that gave an insight into their relationship.

In their introduction, Roman admitted: We’ve got some slightly different traits. Harley was always the one going out, getting in trouble; I was more boring!”

Harley Moon responded: “Roman is going to be practical; and the planning and the budgeting,” as he replied: “You’re in charge of cups and ice.”

It was then that she explained: “We’ve got that conventional family thing going on when you call each other when you need stuff,” before Roman replied: “I don’t know what it’s like to hang out with Harleymoon.”

Implying that was his fault, Harley Moon hit back: “You never invite me to the pub,” before the former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star clarified: “Because I never go!”

Just months before taking on Celebrity Race Across the World 2025 with his older sister, which will see the sibling duo competing with other stars as they race 5,900km across Central America on just £30 each a day, Loose Men star Roma opened up about the struggle he remembers most vividly from his childhood.

In a conversation with singer Tom Grennan on their You About? podcast, Roman shared memories of him and Harley Moon featuring in national magazines alongside their famous parents during a period when finances were tight for the family.

Shirlie and husband Martin, who was a member of the band Spandau Ballet before starring as Steve Owen in BBC soap EastEnders, were struggling with money due to the musician’s health battles in the nineties.

My parents had no money at the time because my dad had all these operations and s*** for his brain, so, like, they were trying to get more money,” Roman explained to podcast co-host Tom. He went on to admit that even though they had appeared in magazines as a family, Martin and Shirlie were still anxious about their children being snapped by paparazzi on holiday.

Roman continued: “But then, even up to when I was maybe 13, if we’d gone on holiday, we were never allowed to go to the beach because when we went on the beach, my mum and dad would always be like, ‘there it is’ and you’d see a boat come past, quite far out, and then, like, stop, and there would just be a long lens camera just taking pictures of kids on beaches.”

Roman heartbreakingly revealed his mum would often be left in tears after seeing pictures the paparazzi had taken of them appearing in the press. He shared: “It’s mad in that sense, you see it less and less now, like those old celebrity pictures on the beach, you see that a lot less now.

“But at the time, my whole life, me growing up, was my mum crying because they’re taking horrendous pictures and they’d only use the worst picture.” Reflecting on a specific traumatic moment following a holiday, Roman said Shirlie “cried for, like, five days” when photos of the family on a banana boat were published in the press.

Ahead of Celebrity Race Across the World airing on Thursday night, Harleymoon explained she was previously given the chance to go on the BBC show with her mum, but Shirlie had concerns, so the pair missed out.

Harleymoon told the Radio Times: “My mum was asked to be in the first Celebrity Race Across the World and was going to take me, but thought it sounded too hard. I was glad to have another chance to go.”

Sharing his own motivations to sign up to the series, Roman, who has been open about his struggles with anxiety and depression, said: “I came off all medication [antidepressants] over a year ago and the race was a good test for my anxiety.”
