Viktor Gyokeres has opened up on his full Arsenal debut against Manchester United last weekend.
He wrote on Instagram: “Proud moment to make my Premier League debut for this special club and to start the season with a win.”
The Gunners face a lengthy stint without the services of striker Kai Havertz, who has reportedly suffered a knee injury.
According to The Athletic, the duration of Havertz’s expected absence is unknown.

Mohamed Salah has anointed Arsenal the “FAVOURITES” to win the Premier League this season.

Birmingham City are interested in the signature of Alexander Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to reports from Sky Sports.

Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has confirmed his position on Arsenal target Rodrygo.

North London rivals are offering up to a £60million package including add-ons for the England international.
The 27-year-old has been hugely influential in attack for Crystal Palace since arriving in 2020.
He appeared to have opened the scoring with a free-kick in the Eagles’ season opener against Chelsea, before it was ruled out due to Marc Guehi’s proximity to the wall.
EBERECHI EZE’S transfer from Crystal Palace is NOT expected to happen before the Eagles’ Conference League tie on Thursday.

But boss Oliver Glasner never doubted Eze, who had a stunning free-kick ruled out at Stamford Bridge, would be available despite uncertainty over his future.

Mikel Arteta has outlined how he and his coaching staff plan to get the best out of new striker Viktor Gyokeres this season.
He said in his press conference today: “We want to do everything. First of all, understanding the player and exposing the player to the conditions that he can fulfil his incredible potential.
“Then that’s going to be the key, and the good thing is that many players, many strikers, they have come from different leagues, they have come to the Premier League and been successful.
“And it’s for us, creating the right context for Viktor to do what he does best, which is to score goals.”

Arsenal have announced that Max Porter will take over as the club’s new U21 head coach.
Porter has been with the Gunners since 2017, where he started life as an U9s coach.
Since then he has worked with the U13s, U17s and U19s.

Eze scored 14 goals across all competitions for Palace last season, including in their 1-0 win against Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
The 27-year-old made his England debut in 2023 and has won 11 caps for the Three Lions, including three appearances at Euro 2024.
