I’m A Celeb fans are all saying the same thing about Kelly Brook’s appearance

Kelly Brook is one of this year’s contestants on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and the ITV series, complete with the campsite banter, has already left viewers in hysterics

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! viewers have taken to social media adamant producers are “giving Kelly Brook too much airtime”.

Fans of the programme suggested there hasn’t been a fair distribution of airtime and some think ITV are playing up to their favourites. Kelly, 46, is striving to win the show but faces tough competition from the likes of Tom Read Wilson, Shona McGarty, Vogue Williams and Martin Kemp.

Many intriguing moments of this series have concerned Kelly, including how she appeared to forget it was her birthday on Sunday, and a dig at Jack Osbourne. However, writing on Reddit and other social media apps, viewers have shared their frustration of airtime given to Kelly, a model and actress.

One person asked on Reddit: “But why are the editors so obsessed with her?… Catching up on Saturday’s show, and oh my GOD it’s like nobody else is there. Kelly is in almost every shot it feels like. Compared to Shona, who was actually in the trial and didn’t get the breakfast, Kelly seems to be on-screen constantly.” Another posted: “I couldn’t believe how little Shona was shown last night. I said to my husband about it.”

Viewers referred to 34-year-old Shona, who played Whitney Dean in EastEnders between 2008 and 2024. One fan described her as “funny and entertaining” and expressed disappointment the actress had “little screen time” despite taking part in a recent Bushtucker Trial.

Shona, originally from Barnet, north London, has taken part in three trials, more than Kelly’s two. However, recent episodes have explored Kelly’s “feud” with Jack, media personality and son of tragic Ozzy Osbourne.

Jack and Kelly clashed over preparing fish for dinner, which followed on from when Jack criticised her potato slicing while preparing a previous meal in the jungle.

But other social media users also stressed, despte the row, they’d like to see the air time split evenly. One wrote: “Let’s hear more from others, like Alex [Alex Scott].” Another viewer posted: “I wish they would give others, rather than Kelly, more screen time. It’s annoying.”

However, Kelly, who was in The Italian Job and Ripper among other films, faced scathing criticism before going into the jungle. Trolls made vicious comments about her figure, which led to husband Jeremy Parisi to defend his spouse. The actor, who wed Kelly in 2022, said: “I’m so happy to see Kelly being so confident and happy in her own skin, it’s hard for women in the public eye to be put under such scrutiny but she is a positive role model for so many women which is something she should be proud of.”

I’m A Celeb’s Kelly Brook’s family hit back after Kelly Osbourne’s ‘bullying’ claims

Kelly Brook’s stepdad described the bullying accusations by Kelly Osbourne as ‘a load of rubbish’ following the model’s spat with Jack Osbourne on I’m A Celebrity

Kelly Brook’s family has hit back at Kelly Osbourne’s bullying accusations following a clash with her brother on I’m A Celebrity earlier this week.

The model, 45, said she felt Jack Osbourne, 40, pushed his way into taking over preparing the campmate’s dinner of eel. On the ITV show, Ozzy Osbourne’s son was seen asking Kelly if she wanted him to help her prepare the meal as he noticed that she was gagging and retching over the smell.

However, after agreeing, Kelly told the camera that she felt Jack “elbowed” his way into taking over the cooking for camp. But Jack’s sister, 41, took the comments personally and criticised her brother’s campmate on her Instagram Stories.

Kelly Brook… I don’t think I like you,” Jack’s elder sister said. “Elbowing out of the way to get to the fish… you’re so performative, with all the gagging and the over‑dramatics. You bring out my big‑sister vibes where I want to attack you because I feel like you’re a bit of a bully.”

But Kelly’s stepdad leapt to her defence and, while talking to the Daily Mail, he described the bullying accusations as “a load of rubbish”. The awkward conversation between Kelly and Jack happened on Wednesday when he stepped in to help her, asking: “Would you like me to cut up the fish?”

Kelly accepted the offer but then said in the Bush Telegraph: “I saw Jack’s eyes light up, it was like Christmas to Jack, and he came running over and elbowed me out of the way to get to this fish like a caveman, and I was like, no, I’m going to do it.”

The spat was the second time Kelly and Jack clashed on the show, after he previously criticised her potato slicing skills while preparing another meal. Jack had previously taken on the role of unofficial chef at camp, but locked horns with Kelly over how to prepare potatoes correctly.

Confessing that she felt “displaced” by Jack, Kelly said, “I’m not gonna lie, last night I just felt, I just felt a bit lost.” She added, “I just want to be so useful, I’m just still trying to find my place in the camp in terms of what to do.”

Later apologising for what some fans online have said is her trying to start a “feud”, she added, “I’m so sorry Jack if I’m coming at you and if I’m cutting potatoes wrong, but honestly it’s only coming from a place where I just want to help.” Jack seemed unimpressed, as he hit back: “That’s just because in my world at home I’ve got four kids and I’m always just doing, doing, doing.”

Their altercation had clearly left its mark, as Jack, who lost his legendary father Ozzy in July, then decided to hand over cooking duties to Alex Scott and Shona McGarty. But when Alex later asked Kelly if she would like to lend a hand, she refused. Claiming the cooking wasn’t his to delegate in the first place, Kelly told her fellow campmates: “So he’s not in charge but then he’s in charge of everything, choosing who’s gonna be in charge!”

I’m a Celeb Kelly Brook’s ‘worst nightmare’ in camp revealed by DJ pal Toby Anstis

Kelly Brook’s Heart colleague and friend Toby Anstis backs his ‘bonkers’ friend to make the final three – as he also discloses her unusual jungle prep

I’m a Celeb star Kelly Brook’s worst jungle nightmare has been revealed. Kelly’s close pal and Heart colleague Toby Anstis has backed his “bonkers” friend to make the final three – and revealed her pre-jungle prep involved scoffing sausage rolls.

Toby said the public would fall in love with her “funny, quirky and eccentric” side – which included a unique take on getting ready for life in camp.

He admits: “The last thing I saw her taking a bite of was a sausage roll, and she said: ‘Toby, I’m getting ready for starving in camp.’ I said you don’t really want to be doing that, you want to be slowing down your eating before you go in….you’ve got to train your tummy not to want food, but there you go. She eats well but she likes a bit of junk food, like we all do.”

Before going into the Jungle, Kelly previously said she had every intention to go to the gym, and even go on hikes to prepare her body. But she later admitted she had taken a different approach instead, saying: “I haven’t done any of that…I have also been fattening myself up in the run-up.”

Despite this, Toby – who took part on the show in 2006 – backed his friend to get to the final of the ITV show. But he said he feared for her doing the eating trials – calling them her “worst nightmare”.

He admits: “I did the show a few years ago, and she was asking me all about it. The main concern for her was having to eat those horrible things, and she was hoping not to do that…that’s her worst nightmare. But I think she’ll be really popular on it, and be in the last three. I think it will be her, Martin Kemp and Angry Ginge.”

Toby says the public will quickly learn to love her. He says: “I don’t think she’ll mind me saying that. She is eccentric…she has these English Rose quirks about her. Things that she says. She’s sort of an old soul on young shoulders. She is quite wise, that kind of eccentricity. She’s brilliant and slightly bonkers at the same time.”

But Toby admitted there could still endure some tough times. “When you are thrown in there and you get cabin fever and it’s hot and the days are long and there’s nothing to do, it depends on the mix of people and the personalities and if you don’t click it can be quite hard,” he says.

Kelly vowed at the weekend that she was set to strip off for the famous Jungle shower. She begged I’m a Celebrity viewers to accept her curves in the wake of getting trolled over her figure.

She said: “Obviously, I am not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore. You know, life changes and your body changes. And I just hope people are accepting of me and how I look now, and not comparing me to how I used to look. You know, I am a very different person. I am older, but I am still strong and I am still fit, and that is the most important thing.” Instead, she said she had “embraced” her curves.

“I feel really confident. I feel like my body is in good shape. I just feel great,” she says. “I am 46, I embrace my curves. I embrace my body. I ran a marathon this year….so I am proud of that.”
