ITV Big Brother fans fume ‘we all saw it coming’ after shopping task mayhem

Big Brother viewers were left fuming as the housemates failed the “easiest task” in the show’s history

ITV Big Brother viewers have fumed “we all saw it coming” after this week’s shopping task was plunged into chaos.

In last night’s episode (October 23), the Big Brother house was transformed into an airport for the weekly task in the hopes of winning a luxury shopping budget.

The housemates were asked to check in as passengers and crew onboard the British Eyeways Flight BB2025 with a number of rules to follow.

Big Brother announced: “Passengers, your destination is a luxury shopping budget but only if you can successfully complete your journey and that might not be as easy as it sounds. Every rule break will extend your flight time meaning a short smooth trip could quickly become a long-haul nightmare.”

Cameron and Feyisola took on the roles of pilot and co-pilot, with Jenny and Sam cabin crew and the remaining housemates as passengers.

Caroline, Richard and Zelah were on a stag do, Farida and Nancy were typical tourists, Elsa and Emily as returning backpackers on their gap year, Tate and Teja were business travellers and Marcus was a single dad.

However, after repeatedly breaking the rules, the flight became longer and longer. With the housemates having to endure over four hours on the flight, they soon quit, reports OK!.

As a result, Big Brother informed the housemates they had failed the task and would be living on basic rations. Fans vented their frustrations on social media, with one viewer stating: “The easiest task in the history of the show and they gave up.”

Another penned: “Well we all saw it coming… they FAILED the shopping task and now it’s basic rations for the lot of them. Hunger games incoming!”.

A third commented: “The easiest task in the history of the show.”

A fourth responded: “Sorry but if I was any of their employers I would be thinking a lot differently about some of them, they couldn’t follow some easy rules for 2 hours? ? ? Actually childish imo.”

Another declared: “I’d be fuming if i were in there following the task. all they had to do was f*** all and they still failed.” One person echoed: “Basic rations! !”.

During the shopping challenge, regulations stipulated contestants must not consume food that wasn’t allocated to them, whilst luggage had to remain with housemates constantly.

Contestants were also instructed to remain seated on the aircraft whilst the seatbelt indicator was illuminated. They were subsequently required to estimate their landing time without checking clocks.

Nevertheless, following more than two hours, they abandoned their challenge.

With the housemates bracing themselves for meagre provisions, numerous viewers are questioning precisely what this will entail for those within the Big Brother residence.

Big Brother viewers say ‘I don’t care’ as Elsa makes baffling admission

Big Brother housemates got to buy some luxury items in the Eyedeal Mini Mart

Big Brother viewers were quick to ask ‘is she for real’ as Elsa made a bizarre confession.

The ITV hit reality show made a return to screens on Monday (October 13) night for a brand new episode and the housemates got to buy some luxury items in the Eyedeal Mini Mart.

Big Brother gathered the Housemates in the living area and announced: “Housemates, today you will have another opportunity to spend your eye currency in the EyeDeal Mini Mart.

“Big Brother has restocked the shelves with even more goodies, luxuries and some new surprise temptations. It’s up to you whether you want to splash the cash now or save it for a rainy day… Richard, Nancy and Sam, as you have zero eyes, you will not enter the shop today.”

One by one the housemates entered Big Brother’s EyeDeal Mini Mart however their was a major twist as Big Brother told each housemate who entered: “Big Brother would like to draw your attention to an incredible buy-one get-one free deal in the shop today.

“A very special item. An Immunity Pass. If you buy this deal, you get not one but two weeks immunity from eviction.”

Marcus wasn’t tempted by the immunity pass as he opted to use his eye balls to get a romantic dinner to enjoy with fellow housemate Elsa.

Later on, Marcus and Elsa were seen in the garden having a romantic dinner for two because Tate bought a jail pass for Marcus, which meant he had to spend his half of the date from his jail cell.

The couple were treated to a cooked dinner and Caroline couldn’t help but come outside and ask: “Is it gorgeous?” Elsa replied: “It’s lovely.”

As they enjoyed their romantic moment together, Marcus took the opportunity to confess: “This is the best date I’ve ever been on.” Caroline asked: “Really?” Marcus responded: “Yeah.”

There was one moment that caught viewers’ attention as Marcus was seen cutting Elsa’s food after she revealed that her mum cuts all her food for her at home.

It didn’t take long for viewers to rush straight to social media to share their reaction as one fumed: “Is Elsa for real.. she still has her mum cut up her food.. is she for real or is she taking the p***.”

Another commented: “Elsa “I have to get my mum to cut my food” F****** hell.” A third asked: “Um..why can’t Elsa cut up her own food? #BBUK #BigBrother.”

One fan commented: “Please save the airtime for the drama. I don’t care about this Marcus/Elsa facade.”

Meanwhile another added: “Elsa is a grown woman — does she really think acting like a child makes her more interesting?! Getting Marcus to cut her food for her and bragging that her mum does it too is wild #BBUK #BigBrother.”

Big Brother fans finally ‘work out’ Elsa’s game plan after love admission

Big Brother fans believe they have worked out that Elsa is heavily encouraging a narrative of love between her and Marcus in a desperate bid to land brand deals on exit from the show

Big Brother fans are convinced that Elsa is desperate to force a love narrative between her and fellow housemate Marcus in order to secure couple brand deals. The blonde housemate revealed following this week’s eviction, that she was prepared to drop a love bombshell on Marcus if she was evicted from the show.

She told her housemates that she was prepared to tell him that she loved him, leaving her housemates in utter shock. And this has caused a stir among fans on X, who now believe that she entered the house with an agenda.

One person wrote: “Elsa was going to tell a dude she’s known for two weeks she loves him. She wants those couples brand deals BAD #BBUK.” Another person said: “I’ve had ‘relationships’ in primary school more realistic than Marcus and Elsa #bbuk.”

Meanwhile a third person added: “if i was gonna go i was gonna tell marcus i loved him” ..elsa girl please chill you bunny boiler you’ve known him less than 3 weeks #bbuk.”

And a fourth person chimed in saying: “marcus please your not going to get with elsa your just saying that to make good tv but we don’t care this is big brother not love island.”

A fifth said: “Marcus has no intentions of seeing Elsa after this. You can see it on his face #bbuk.”

In a private conversation her fellow housemate Zelah, Elsa confessed that she was in love with him, leaving the wannabe star in utter shock. A coy looking Elsa simply smiled.

However, further into the evening shown in tonight’s show Zelah and Marcus found themselves in a conversation in the garden where the pair were talking about his feelings for Elsa. And it seems he does not share the same feelings for the reality TV star.

When asked if the location between the two would be an obstacle that they would have to overcome, Marcus made it clear that his doubts were more focused on the dynamics within the house.

Marcus appeared concerned that the feelings the pair have for one another in the house may change in the outside world when the reality of their situation is put to the test.

The couple have been heavily flirting with one another since entering the iconic Big Brother house. At one point, Caroline is seen telling Marcus: “I think she’s in love.”

Marcus then quipped: “I know, I don’t blame her.” Beckoning for her to come over to him he shouted out “come here Elsa.” And Caroline then joked: “The romance is coming.”

One of the biggest rules in the Big Brother house is talking about nominations.

In a livestream which aired this weekend, Sam and Nancy were the two housemates to break the rules.

Using code names, the pair said that one of their fellow co-stars was “fake” while using a code name to describe her.

The TV news and fan account said on X: “So I’m just catching up on what’s gone down on the first hour of live streaming…

“Sam and Nancy broke the rules using code names, and they said they want Jenny evicted next, and that she’s fake – all of which Big Brother read back to the house.

“Jenny has then been left ‘so angry’ that she cried, and that she knew she’d get nominated if the house is split in two or something.

“Also Tate was involved in a convo with Nancy slagging off Jenny and Nancy got caught lying about it literally on the live stream????

“And to top it off, Elsa is jealous that Jenny confided in Marcus about it all.”

Fans reacted to the revelation, with one saying: “First and only time I want Jenny to face eviction. She would be iconic in the secret room.”

Another added: “Jenny is a threat, that’s my only explanation for the Jenny slander.”

Big Brother host Will Best takes subtle dig at axed contestant George ahead of eviction – did you spot it?

While a third said: “I don’t understand why contestants break the rules. The rules were explained to them. If they’ve seen past seasons they know housemates get in trouble for rule breaking.”

And a fourth penned: “Ew nancy is so bitter, why is she being like this ??”

This comes after three housemates – Richard, Elsa and Cameron B – faced possible elimination in Friday’s episode.

Cameron B ultimately became the third housemate to be evicted this series.

The 25-year-old from Bolton entered the House on Day Two, alongside three other newcomers.

Axed star George Gilbert, 23, had also been on the chopping block before his shock exit.

The Sun revealed how the parish councillor was removed after ‘unacceptable language and behaviour’.

Sources told The Sun that George left his co-stars horrified after making offensive comments which could be interpreted as antisemitic and was immediately called to the Diary Room and ejected from the house.

“Everyone was absolutely disgusted,” an insider said.

“Nobody could believe what he said – he was clearly out to shock people.”

Big Brother loses fourth housemate in live eviction after show’s ‘controversial’ week

Big Brother saw their second live eviction and fourth housemate to leave the house tonight after the show made headlines for George Gilbert’s ejection for offensive language

Tonight, AJ Odudu and Will Best spoke to the house live for the second time this series as Cameron B was evicted from the Big Brother house.

Last Friday, Gani became the second contestant to be evicted from the house, but unfortunately for him, he didn’t get the showcase he deserved due to Storm Amy.

In a chaotic last minute change, Will came to meet the star at the bottom of the stairs, as he took him to the studio through the back doors due to the gale-force winds.

He wasn’t the first to be evicted however, as in a shock 25th anniversary twist, Emily was booted out the house on the first night, as herself, Sam and Caroline had to decided between themselves who should leave.

Tonight, the weather was much calmer, as Cameron became the first housemate to leave through the front door.

Cameron B, Elsa, Richard and George faced eviction, but again things were thrown into chaos when George was removed for repeated use of offensive language and behaviour.

Despite George’s removal from the house, the eviction still went ahead, although the votes closed for a while, and refreshed. Prior votes did not count, and viewers were given five more votes.

Tonight, AJ and Will revealed that Cameron B was the third housemate to be evicted – and fourth to leave.

As Cameron joined the Late and Live, we got a glimpse of the house’s reaction, with Elsa elated she was safe. In a shock admission, she told Teja and Feyisola she was going to tell Marcus she loved him if she stayed.

The second live eviction came after a controversial week in the house. As well as George’s removal, housemate Caroline also received a warning from Big Brother after comments made towards Zelah and Nancy.

Zelah has been open about his transition with the housemates, but during a game of spin the bottle Caroline asked Nancy which housemate she would sleep with if they were trapped on a desert island and she “might be able to make babies to get a new civilisation.”

Nancy then asked Caroline if it had to be a guy, as Jenny said she was pansexual. “Is she pansexual? Do you like pans?” Caroline asked, as Zelah told her to just ask Nancy who she was most attracted to.

Nancy then answered Zelah, as Caroline responded: “She’s a girl. No you’re not!” she then added: “But you haven’t got a willy. Is that really bad? But I was talking about…I’m so sorry Z. Is that bad? That was bad wasn’t it? Oh no, I’m dead now. Is that bad?’”

Zelah was left in tears in the Diary Room, telling Big Brother: “I didn’t think it would affect me that much. That’s why I didn’t want to tell anyone from the get go, because once people know their true perceptions come out. But ‘she’s a girl’ was strong.”

Caroline profusely apologised, telling Big Brother she was “ashamed” of her comments and said she had no excuses for her behaviour.

Big Brother fans ‘work out’ which iconic housemate is returning in game-changing twist

Big Brother’s AJ and Will announced the biggest game changing twist yet, as they revealed two new arrivals will be entering the house in a game changing twist

Tonight, the Big Brother house saw it’s second live eviction as Cameron B was evicted. However, it wasn’t the only huge event tonight, as AJ Odudu and Will Best announced at the start of the live show that Big Brother would see yet another huge twist.

The 25th anniversary show started off with a bang, as the evil eyes continue to cause chaos around the house. The first shock twist came during launch night when Emily was the first housemate to be evicted in a short but sweet stay.

Now, AJ and Will have made the shock announcement that the show will gain two new arrivals next Friday – but they’re not any old arrivals.

READ MORE: Big Brother announces major vote shake-up as George removed for ‘unacceptable behaviour’READ MORE: Four Big Brother housemates face eviction as brutal ‘face-to-face’ nominations turn sour

In fact, Will and AJ announced that the two new arrivals were people that had left the Big Brother house too soon – but who will they be?

They won’t be alone, as one current housemate will be with them. On Big Brother’s Late and Live tonight, Will and AJ announced housemates would be nominating on Monday. Housemates will believe viewers are voting to evict – but the evicted housemate won’t leave.

Instead they’ll be whisked away to a secret room with the two former housemates. But who will they be?

Tonight, Will gave away a huge clue, revealing that the housemates are one’s that “left too soon.”

While many think Emily from this series are returning, others are convinced Farida Khalifa from ITV’s first series in 2023, will be returning. Farida was the first housemate to be evicted, with many fuming with her early departure.

But could it be her time to return? Fans think so. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one penned: “I’m glad to see i’m not the only one who INSTANTLY thought of farida when they said gone too soon housemates were returning”.

Another agreed: “Omg the fact that godly Farida may be reentering the Big Brother house!!” while a third said: “Farida’s last TikTok was September 24th… get her back in!”

The announcement came after Cameron B was the third housemate to be evicted from the 2025 series – and the fourth to leave.

Despite being the third to be evicted, Cameron was the first to leave through the front door. Last week, Gani was forced to have a back door eviction due to Storm Amy, and Emily left through the back door on the first night.

George Gilbert’s Big Brother exit in full ahead of controversial episode

George Gilbert was repeatedly warned by Big Brother for using offensive language and has now been removed from the ITV show in scenes that will air tonight’s episode

Big Brother contestant George Gilbert has been asked to leave the show following repeated use of offensive language. The 23-year-old’s removal will be aired in tonight’s episode.

George has been a controversial figure on the show since he entered, as he has had several arguments with other housemates over political issues like immigration and homelessness. He was also given a formal warning by Big Brother after doing a homophobic impression of another housemate, Sam Ashby, in a game of Truth or Dare.

In scenes deemed by ITV to be too offensive to air, George is said to have made an antisemitic comment that led to his ejection from the house. His full exit will be shown tonight (9 October).

In the episode, George will be called to the Diary Room, where Big Brother will remind him of the rules he agreed to when he started on the show. “Hello, George,” Big Brother said. “George, before you entered the Big Brother House, the rules regarding unacceptable and offensive language and behaviour were explained to you.”

George then flippantly asked, “What is it?” Big Brother responded that the show has issued a warning to the Essex-based contestant on “several separate occasions” about his language and even issued him with a formal warning.

“Despite this, at 6.22pm, in a conversation about conspiracy theories, the words you used broke the rules regarding unacceptable and offensive language.

“George, Big Brother thinks that your repeated use of offensive language in the house including during yesterday’s conversation is unacceptable. Big Brother cannot permit you to use language in a manner which is likely to be considered offensive by Housemates or the viewing public.”

Parish councillor and actor George said he understood, but Big Brother then had more to say. He continued: “Despite the prior warnings and the opportunities we have given you to adjust your language in the House, you have persisted in using offensive language. And as a result, Big Brother has no choice other than to remove you from the House.”

George was given the opportunity to say something. He said: ““I always want to question any theory, any movement, I just like to, I just want to know the truth about things and I’m sorry. So I’m really gutted but if that’s what you want to do then I’m sorry it’s ended like this.”

This is very similar to what he said upon leaving the Big Brother house. “As a flag bearer of freedom of speech, I never hesitate to discuss and question any topic regardless of how contentious it may be,” the 23-year-old said.

“Sadly, the boundaries of what is deemed offensive are subjective and I evidently went too far this time by crossing their line one too many times. It is a shame that specific debate could not be had and that it has had to end like this. Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me.”

Because of his language and behaviour, George was nominated for eviction in this week’s vote. However, his removal forced ITV to halt the public vote. Addressing the situation on Big Brother Late and Live, host AJ Odudu said “George was removed from the Big Brother house today following repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour.

“As he was up for eviction, the vote has been closed for now. So if you’ve voted already, your votes don’t count. But new votes between Cameron B, Elsa and Richard will be opening tomorrow and you’ll have five new votes. So tune in tomorrow to see the housemates reaction to the news.”

Big Brother announces major vote shake-up as George removed for ‘unacceptable behaviour’

Big Brother host AJ Odudu announced a huge change to the show’s voting system for Friday’s eviction after housemate George Gilbert was removed from the house earlier today

Earlier today, Big Brother announced that George Gilbert had been removed from the house over “repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour”. George was one of four housemates facing eviction on Friday, and the public vote has now been halted due to this.

Yesterday, the housemates nominated for the first time, and it was revealed that George, Elsa, Richard and Cameron B would be facing the public vote. George, Elsa and Cameron B received the most amount of votes from their fellow housemates, and Richard was atomically up as he had the cursed eye.

Addressing the situation as she opened Big Brother’s Late and Live tonight, host AJ Odudu said: “George was removed from the Big Brother house today following repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour.

In a statement following George’s removal, ITV told The Mirror: “Following repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour, George has been removed from the Big Brother House with immediate effect and will no longer participate in the programme.”

It was later revealed that George’s comments will not be aired on the show as they are contrary to broadcast standards. Contestants were told the rules regarding language and behaviour ahead of entering the Big Brother house, receiving training in respect, dignity and inclusion.

However, later on in the day, it was reported that George left his co-stars horrified after making offensive comments which could be interpreted as antisemitic. “Everyone was absolutely disgusted,” a source revealed to The Sun. “Nobody could believe what he said – he was clearly out to shock people.”

It’s been reported that he was called into the Diary Room after making the comments, and was immediately ejected from the show.

George received a warning over his behaviour earlier in the week after imitating housemate Sam during a game of Truth or Dare. He was told by Big Brother in the diary room: “At 11:26, during a game of Truth or Dare, when asked about your least favourite qualities of other Housemates, you said the following, ‘Sam, um too…’, you then went on to mimic Sam using both noises that mocked the way Sam talks and body language that included limp wrists.

“Do you understand how both your language and behaviour could be offensive to Sam, your Housemates and the viewing public?” George then said that he had apologised to Sam after making the comments.

However, The Mirror understands that George was given several warnings for unacceptable language which were not broadcast as they were contrary to broadcast standards.

Big Brother airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Now, since leaving the house, George has said: “As a flag bearer of freedom of speech I never hesitate to discuss and question any topic regardless of how contentious it may be.

“Sadly, the boundaries of what is deemed offensive are subjective and I evidently went too far this time by crossing their line one too many times.”

He added: “It is a shame that specific debate could not be had and that it has had to end like this. Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me.”

“Everyone was absolutely disgusted,” an insider says. “Nobody could believe what he said – he was clearly out to shock people.”

It’s understood that ITV will air scenes featuring George on tonight’s show but won’t air the comments that led to him being kicked off the show.

Big Brother chaos as two housemates warned over offensive language in just two days

After George’s warning last night, Caroline was called into the Diary Room during tonight’s episode, as she was giving a formal warning by Big Brother for unacceptable behaviour

It was a dramatic night in Big Brother tonight, as the housemates were called to the Diary Room to nominate for the first time. However, it wasn’t the only time Caroline was called to the famous room, as she was given a formal warning by Big Brother.

Like George Gilbert, Caroline’s warning came after a comment she had made during a housemate game of spin the bottle. As she was pulled into the Diary Room, the voice of Big Brother told her: “Yesterday at 11:21pm during a game of spin of the bottle, you had the following conversations.

Big Brother recalled the conversation, in which Caroline asked which housemate she would sleep with if they were trapped on a desert island and she “might be able to make babies to get a new civilisation.”

Zelah has been open about his transition with housemates – and Caroline told Big Brother she was “ashamed” of herself as she hung her head in shame in the Diary Room.

“Caroline, Big Brother thinks that your language in these instances was offensive and unacceptable and cannot permit you to use language in a way that could cause offence to your fellow Housemates and the viewing public,” Big Brother said, as they gave Caroline a formal warning, in which she agreed.

When asked if there was anything she’d like to say, Caroline added: “Sorry. It was a horrible thing I said. Horrible. I don’t know where it came from.

“I can’t excuse myself. If I had an excuse I’d say but I don’t have one. I’m sorry to everyone out there and I’m sorry to everyone in here. I will make sure I apologise profusely to everyone because I can see the disappointment in everyone’s eyes. I was having such a lovely time, more than lovely. I’ve gone and ruined everything. I can’t see a way back.”

Zelah was left in tears in the Diary Room, telling Big Brother: “I didn’t think it would affect me that much. That’s why I didn’t want to tell anyone from the get go, because once people know their true perceptions come out. But ‘she’s a girl’ was strong.”

“I’m so down for people asking questions, I think it’s really important, but sometimes my openness comes at the expense of my own feelings. I can’t remember the last time words hit me like that.”

It comes after George was given a warning by Big Brother during last night’s episode after a game of Truth or Dare in which he was asked about his least favourite thing about each housemate.

Big Brother told him: “At 11:26, during a game of Truth or Dare, when asked about your least favourite qualities of other Housemates, you said the following, ‘Sam, um too…’, you then went on to mimic Sam using both noises that mocked the way Sam talks and body language that included limp wrists.

“Do you understand how both your language and behaviour could be offensive to Sam, your Housemates and the viewing public?” George then confirmed he had apologised to Sam after making the comments.

Cameron, who introduced himself as an introvert, told his co-star that he had entered the house on a mission to lose weight, as the pair openly discussed issues around body image.

As the pair had a conversation Cameron admitted that he had come into the house to “lose a bit of weight”.

Zelah, who works a professional trainer, asked if Cameron had any goals when it came to food.

Cameron responded: “Just like not eat so much crap all the time, like don’t binge as much.“

He went on to ask Zelah: “Did you used to be big?”

The personal trainer responded: “I used to be bigger, I used to be overweight.”

Zelah continued: “During my teen years, I developed an eating disorder.”

He opened up about his battle with bulimia, telling Cameron he struggled with “eating and then throwing up”.

Zelah admitted: “It stayed with me for a long time.”

Cameron responded: “At boarding school, we were made to run all the time and I was made to do rugby which I never really liked.”

Big Brother’s second evicted housemate revealed as another star gets the boot

He added: “I never really enjoyed, especially doing it with other people, I never really enjoyed doing all that.

“I felt embarrassed doing all that actually.”

Viewers praised Cameron for opening up about his body image struggles, particularly after he shared his fears over housemates liking him in an emotional diary room confession after entering the house.

Fans on social media admitted that the farmer has started to grow on them.

One viewer wrote on X: “Farmer O.G Cameron is really growing on me. Seems like such a nice guy. Love the way he emotionally checks in with people so effortlessly.”

Another fan said: “Farmer Cameron is a great addition to the cast i shouldnt have judged him prematurely”.

It comes as Gani became the second housemate to be given the boot from Big Brother house – after facing the first public vote of the series.

Poor weather conditions meant ITV bosses had to pull the plug on using their outdoor set forcing this week’s evictee to leave via the back door.

Both Gani and Zelah found themselves facing the public vote after being given an evil eye by the four newest housemates – Richard, Feyisola, Cameron B and George.

Upon his departure being confirmed, he was met by Will Best, who walked him over to the Late and Live studio amid the shake-up.

When asked how he was feeling, Gani looked heartbroken as he confessed: “I seriously don’t know what to even say right now.”

During his exit interview with AJ and Will, Gani admitted he wanted to share more of himself whilst on the show.

Big Brother 2025 housemates

The initial housemates who entered the house were:

  • Gani, 39, a pizza shop manager from South London.
  • Cameron, 22, a farmer from Taunton.
  • Nancy, 22, a graduate from Glasgow.

  • Emily, 25, a political events manager from Northampton (evicted).

Big Brother star says they were forced to marry cousin and have 10-month-old baby

Big Brother star Gani made a shock confession during Thursday night’s episode as he revealed he was forced to marry his own cousin and now has a 10-month-old baby

A Big Brother housemate left their co-stars stunned by a shock revelation about their love life. The housemates have been getting to know each other as the hit ITV show returned to screens earlier this week.

However, along the way there has already been some surprise admissions. On Thursday night, Gani revealed he was forced to marry his own cousin.

The pizza shop manager, 39, decided to open up to Jenny about his love life and how he explored his sexuality. He revealed that it was his dad’s decision that he should marry despite him knowing it wasn’t for him.

Gani, who is from south London, also shared that he is a dad to a 10-month-old baby. When he entered the Big Brother house, he was open about being bisexual.

Jenny asked if he had found love since moving to the UK from India, which prompted Gani to revealed more about his life. “This is going to be very interesting and very shocking for you,” he explained.

“2022 was the turning point in my life. I was so open-minded [on sexuality], even though I was from a religious background. I was always like, ‘why not try everything’.”

He added: “From 2022 to 2024, I was literally enjoying and exploring bisexuality. And then at the end of 2023, December 2023, my dad all of a sudden was like, ‘Gani, how long are you not gonna be married. Come on, please marry, why are you doing this?’

“And I was like, ‘no, I don’t want to get married, blah, blah, blah’.” In a turning point, Gani explained: “Then my dad asked me [to get married] and I couldn’t say no. That is how I got married in January 2024 with my cousin.”

Jenny was physically stunned by what she had heard as she asked if he is still married. Gani told her: “I am still married, yeah. I have a baby boy – 10 months old.

“And I said to my mother, ‘It is not you, it is your husband [Gani’s father]. It is my dad, your husband – he forced me. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have married.”

Gani admitted he would never have planned to get married himself as he insisted it is “not for me”. Jenny said: “As long as you are happy and your wife is happy but talking to you now, I don’t think you want to be married?

“If you don’t want to be married, can you not get divorced or is that really bad in India?” He went on to explain: “The thing is Jenny, I didn’t marry to get divorced actually.

“I love my wife, I love my son. From where I’m standing, I wanted to repair things and I wanted to be with my wife and son. This is me – either take it or leave it. I choose to live like this because this is my second life and I want to live in a f***ing iconic way.”

Viewers were also as surprised as Jenny as one said: “Biggest bombshell of the season is Gani being married and having a child with his COUSIN.” Another added: “GANI IS MARRIED AND HAS A 10 MONTH OLD SON???? Huhhhh?!” Someone else commented: “gani with the crazy lore drop hello??” A fourth wrote: “Gani is married to WHOOOO????”

And a TikTok video shows the controversial influencer losing his cool.

Ed is seen slumped on a bench, saying: “I made a f****** mistake… a big mistake.

“Everything in this world is energy, you know that.”

Marcus is a mechanical engineer and has already appeared to have taken a shine to the model who boasts over 500,000 followers online.

But fans think Elsa could have an ulterior motive.

Big Brother fans say ‘this isn’t Love Island’ as romance blossoms and two housemates get cosy in bed

Being sceptical, they have cast doubt on Elsa’s intentions and have suggested she is faking a romance with Marcus purely to make streamer Ed jealous.

Writing on X, one viewer said: “Elsa trying to make Ed Mathew jealous.”

Another added: “If that’s a hint of a Marcus / Elsa showmance then they can f*** off…..”

Scarlett looked happier than ever as she wowed viewers in a dark green co-ord top and mini skirt with feather deatiling at the trims.

She oozed confidence wearing a pair of leopard print block high heels and styled her dark hair in classy loose curls.

The reality star posted her look on Instagram, with the caption: “Always been a huge fan of big brother, in fact my guilty pleasure will forever be a chicken kebab and watching reality tv!

“So glad I got to do a major tick off my bucket list and be at a launch night at @bbuk“.

Fans flooded the comments gushing over her transformation, with one saying: “You look amazing.”

Another added: “Stunning!!🔥 😍😍 need outfit drop pls!”

A third penned: “Looking beautiful gal.”

This comes after Scarlett revealed she finally feels “happier” than ever after years of yo-yo dieting, brutal bootcamps and body battles.

She admitted she once dropped to a size 8 after punishing herself with 700-calorie days and a gruelling Swiss bootcamp involving six hours of exercise – all in a bid to stay slim after releasing her controversial fitness DVD in 2016.

But despite shedding three stone, Scarlett confessed she was still miserable and wracked with body image issues.

“As long as you are healthy, being yourself and you’re being nice to people, you do you.”

The I’m A Celeb star said she regrets the years she “missed out” on life because of low self-esteem, but now urges fans to stop being so hard on themselves.

Scarlett even revealed her own trick – imagining she’s speaking to her younger self whenever negative thoughts creep in.

“Would you ever say horrible things to a six-year-old?” she said. “Of course not. So don’t say it to yourself either.”

Now proudly flying the flag as a plus-size TV presenter, Scarlett says she’s thrilled kids today get to see more diverse faces and body types on screen.

Since bursting onto Gogglebox in 2014 aged just 23, Scarlett has carved out a successful career in telly.

Big Brother’s Will Best ‘lets slip’ cruel eviction twist live on air

During last night’s launch, Big Brother revealed the ‘cruellest twist yet’ as we learnt one housemate would go during the first episode – as Will Best ‘lets slip’ a huge spoiler

Last night, Big Brother opened with one of the cruellest twists yet, as it was revealed by AJ Odudu and Will Best that one housemate would be leaving on the first night.

When all 12 housemates had entered the house, it was revealed that viewers had just four minutes to cast their votes for who they wanted to put up for eviction.

It was later revealed that 25-year-old political events organiser Emily, Zumba instructor Sam, 22, and PR worker Caroline, 56 were facing eviction as they were placed into a room away from the rest of the housemates. It also meant that those watching the live stream wouldn’t be able to see who’s left before tonight’s show.

Many assumed that the housemate with the least amount of votes would be evicted, however, on Big Brother Late and Live, it was revealed that they would have to fight amongst themselves on who would go.

The announcement was made on Big Brother’s Late and Live after the launch show, but many viewers thought this twist was ‘let slip’ accidentally by host Will Best.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter when the announcement was made, one penned: “Will seems to have just (accidentally?) confirmed on #BBLL that Emily, Caroline and Sam will have to decide amongst themselves WHO gets evicted tonight! #BBUK

Another wrote: “WILL JUST LET SLIP ANOTHER TWIST BECAUSE HE IS SOMEHOW THE WORST SECRET KEEPER IN BIG BROTHER PRESENTING HSTORY !! The 3 housemates in danger will “decide amongst themselves” who gets evicted #bbuk #bbll“.

Another said: “Will just revealed on Late & Live that the 3 housemates in the exit room will be deciding amongst themselves who will be leaving the house! #BBLL #BBUK.”

This series marks the 25th anniversary of Big Brother, and they weren’t wrong when they said they wouldn’t be holding back.

Along with the return of Big Brother was the return of the iconic live stream. Viewers were able to sit down and watch the aftermath of the chaotic launch show after Big Brother Late and Live last night, but they were left annoyed with one feature, the bird sounds.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter to express their frustrations, one penned: “Once again the #BBUK ‘live feed’ is endless bird tweets… WTF is the point of offering a live feed when @bbuk is terrified that fans will leak what we’ve seen!!! Nobody fucking cares!! Just put the fucking cameras on!!”

Another said: “Here we go again love the bird noises #BBUK u have many cameras move them around!”

Big Brother line-up with new cast including Nigel Farage ‘milkshake girl’

Big Brother has officially returned for another season with 12 housemates ready to wreak havoc on ITV’s most famous house, but this year, the line-up appears more fresh-faced than ever.

Big Brother returned to ITV this evening as 12 new housemates entered into through the iconic abode for the first time, ready to live in close quarters for the next seven weeks. While the social experiment usually sees a variety of people from different age ranges, backgrounds, ethnicities and genders, this year’s cohort are a noticably young bunch.

In fact, only two of the housemates are not in their twenties, with the rest of the group ranging from 18 to 27; Pizza Shop Manager Gani, 39, and PR company owner Caroline, 56, are the exception. The latter decided to go on the show after struggling to know which direction to take her career in, and says she’d like a pair of new patio doors if she won the show’s prize pot, which is often £100,000.

While Gani is hoping for both fame and fortune, as he says: “I’d like to be known by millions. I see this as an opportunity not only for my personal growth, but also to help build the future of my personal brand.” He might get some tips from his fellow housemates, as one is already known online as an influencer and content creator.

21-year-old Elsa Rae is known for being an influencer and has already amassed over 120,000 followers on TikTok and is known for her relationship with social media personality Ed Matthews.

From Jojo Siwa and Chris Hughes to Jordan Sangha and Henry Southan, Big Brother has produced plenty of in-house romances over the years.

And with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best recently admitting they get invested in the show’s relationships, this series could be one to rival Love Island with it’s young and beautiful cast.

Alongside Essex girl Elsa, 18-year-old Teja was another one to enter the Big Brother house during the live launch show, and is this year’s youngest contestant this year. With a goal of winning the show and buying her own house, Teja says she might have some crossed words in the house.

“I think I’m alright to live with, but I can be a bit loud. I do also say what’s on my mind. If I have a problem I will say. Sopeople might take that the wrong way and see it as me being rude. But I do like to just get things off my chest; people might not like the directness of it,” says Teja, who describes herself as “loud”.

Farmer Cameron and Mechanical Engineer Marcus are both 22, but couldn’t be more different. The former is hoping his genuine charm will win the house over and says he’s looking forward to “a new experience”, while Marcus has been advised to “play the game”.

27-year-old Zumba Instructor Sam is hoping to bring energy to the house with plenty of early morning workout classes, and says: “I’m looking forward to making new friends, hopefully learning some new life skills and seeing what things come out of this experience.”

Political Events Manager Emily, 25, is hoping her unassuming exterior will help her play the game in the house, and perhaps fool her counterparts. “I haven’t really thought about a strategy, although I do think people look at me and think I’m very ditzy because I’ve got blonde hair and fake nails.

“So,I think that could definitely play to my advantage, because they better watch out! I’m actually a lot cleverer,” she says. Emily shot to fame when she was falsely accused of flinging a milkshake at Nigel Farage.

Jenny, 20, from Derry says she wants to provide the house with “plenty of craic”, something she’ll no doubt bond with 22-year-old Glasweigen Nancy over. Tate, 27, is this year’s second Scottish housemate, and says his experience as a “buff butler” means he will be entertaining, with plenty of other skills up his sleeve.

Personal Trainer Tate, 27, is just looking to make “one good friend” in the house, and says he doesn’t mind about anything else. “I can be quite opinionated but I’d like to think that wouldn’t necessarily be a reason to nominate me.

“My strategy for those situations is to talk it out. I think also maybe food (or lack of) might beanother reason for me being nominated. I can get very hangry. That might get to people,” said the South London native.

Big Brother continues nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm.

Big Brother in huge shake-up ahead of launch for landmark series

Celebrating it’s 25th year, the hit reality competition series Big Brother has revamped its iconic chair as strangers from all over the country descend on the famous house

Iconic moments have happened on the Big Brother chair. It’s where Nikki Grahame had asked “Who is she?” over and over again after being nominated for eviction. It’s where Alison Hammond said she could probably “bend it back” after she broke a table whilst trying to spy on security. And now it’s got a brand new look.

Big Brother, which turns 25 this year, has completely revamped it’s house for the next series, including the diary room. The brand new diary room chair is just as colourful as the rest of the house, complete with green and orange cushioned arches over a giant cushioned eyeball. There, contestants will be able to talk to Big Brother.

This is the third series of the show to air on ITV2. Previously, Big Brother has been on Channel 5. Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best will return to welcome the housemates from across the UK.

In a chat with The Mirror, AJ said she was “excited” to see the new chair and how the rest of the house had changed. “And of course, we’re all excited to see the new diary room chair and how the house has been tweaked. Bigger? Smaller? Who knows! But what’s certain is another dynamic and exciting series.”

Since 2000, strangers from all over the country have descended on the Big Brother house to compete to be crowned the winner of the show. Housemates not only have to survive being locked in a house together, but they must complete tasks and try not to get evicted from the house. ITV has promised viewers new twists and turns, as well as elaborate challenges and live evictions.

Following each episode, there is a spin-off show, Big Brother: Late & Live. This show gives viewers exclusive content from the house, along with fiery debates and hot takes from a celebrity guest panel. This year will also feature an extra week of the show, bringing it up to seven in total.

Since it started airing on ITV, Big Brother has had a number of memorable moments, not least a romance between 2023 housemates Jordan Sangha and Henry Southan. The two got close on the show and ended up in a relationship for over a year afterwards, before sadly breaking up earlier this year.

This year’s edition of Celebrity Big Brother also saw a romance spark on the show. Pop star Jojo Siwa became close friends with Love Islander Chris Hughes, which eventually developed into a relationship. The two are still together and rumoured to be thinking about marriage.

Will Best said he’d be upset if the pair ever broke up. “If Jojo and Chris don’te last, I genuinely don’t know what I’ll do.” Later, he added that he was excited to celebrate 25 years of Big Brother and thought audiences would be too.

“Bring on the housemates, bring on seven weeks, and bring on a happy 25th anniversary to Big Brother! I think [audiences will] be happy about the extra week.

“Last series could easily have gone on longer, so this will be a nice touch. But the exciting thing is, we never really know what’s going to be new. Fans are already buzzing from the trailer and the Big Brother eye reveal.”

Alison Hammond admits relief over This Morning’s NTA win after string of scandals

Alison Hammond has expressed her ‘relief’ at This Morning’s win at the NTAs last night after Dermot O’Leary said the show has been ‘through the mill’

Alison Hammond has expressed her ‘relief’ at This Morning’s big win at the National Television Awards last night. The presenter, 50, provides cover on ITV’s flagship magazine show alongside Dermot O’Leary on Fridays and phoned into the programme after the big win to tell regular hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard just how grateful she felt that they had emerged victorious from the public vote.

The programme, which has aired on ITV since 1989, won in the Daytime category, having fought off competition from Scam Interceptors, Loose Women and James Martin’s Saturday Kitchen. The show managed to claim the title back after two years of losing out to The Repair Shop and The Chase.

Alison said: “I’m still buzzing from last night, what a brilliant night. It was just lovely. We hadn’t had it for two years running now and what’s so incredible is when our audience vote for us, we know we’re doing okay. It was just such a relief and we’re just so grateful that everyone picked up the phone and voted for us.”

The former Big Brother star has also made a name for herself interviewing A-List celebrity guests on the programme and has chatted to superstars like Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling and once ‘married’ The Rock on the show. But just before hanging up, she teased that she was off to interview Barbie star Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell.

Over the last few years, the show has been through numerous lineup changes following the departure of long-serving hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. The duo, who began presenting together in 2009, first came under fire when they were alleged to have jumped the queue to file past Queen Elizabeth’s coffin in September 2022.

Then, Phillip, who first appeared on the programme in 2002 and initially presented alongside Fern Britton, admitted to an ‘unwise but not illegal’ affair with a younger colleague, and subsequently stepped down from the show and ITV altogether. Holly followed suit soon after security guard Gavin Plumb was charged in connection with a scheme to abduct and kill her.

He was found guilty and last year was sentenced to a minimum of 16 years behind bars.

A litany of hosts like Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Rochelle Humes and Andi Peters took their place over a period of weeks before Cat and Ben were given the top jobs.

But speaking in the winners room after their victory, former X Factor host Dermot, 52, acknowledged that the show had been ‘through the mill’ over the last few years, reports Manchester Evening News.

He said: “There’s a team that have worked on the show since I’ve started who have had to endure an awful lot of s**t.

Alison Hammond

“And they have turned up to work every day with the greatest grace and professionalism and uncertainty, and they’ve never done anything but put their hearts and souls into this job.

“Two and a half hours of live telly every day is quite something, but to endure it under the spotlight of being on the front page of the news. This show holds a mirror up to Britain and it also tries to entertain.”

He also noted that the team was thrilled to win, as he added: “There’s never an arrogance about this. We’re genuinely humbled by it. It means an awful lot, especially for those people who have been through the mill.”

She thanked fans for their support as she adjusts to life after surgery.

Imogen shared snaps taken before the op – posing in her gown while consulting with her surgeon and getting marked up.

She later posted a hospital bed selfie post-surgery, bandaged up but smiling, giving the camera a thumbs up.

She wrote on Instagram: “It’s been 5 days since I’ve had my surgery and this in journey has been incredible.

“Do you wanna see how my breasts look on day 7? So u can see step by step what is expected.

“I’m blown away by all your messages and your investment in this as so many of you want to get it done and I’m so happy my journey is helping you x”.

Imogen revealed she was getting a boob job as she said: “Hi everyone, so I just wanted to pop on and tell you a bit of news in my life.

“I am going to Istanbul on Monday for breast augmentation. I cannot wait, my boobs right now are really big for me.

“I’ve lost quite a bit of weight and I just can’t have this anymore.

“So I found the best surgeon in Istanbul.”

I’d go on Big Brother again – and let my daughters do it – but I’m not doing OnlyFans, says Imogen Thomas

She continued: “I had a great video consultation with him and I’m flying out. I’m getting them done.

“I’m going smaller and I’m getting an uplift and I cannot wait to show you guys the results in my dresses, in my workout wear. I cannot wait to feel body confident again.

“Like the excitement is literally unreal. I can’t believe I found the time to go for a start, which is great.”

Imogen ended by saying: “So yeah, cannot wait to show you guys. It’s something that I’m super excited about and yeah, you’re going to see a lot in the next few days.”

Big Brother winners from over the years

Since launching in 2000, reality TV juggernaut Big Brother has crowned several champions over the years. Let’s take a look back at some of them.

The former glamour model remained in the spotlight ever since her stint in the famous house and even had an affair with a VERY famous footballer.

The former Miss Wales lasted 86 days in the Big Brother house, becoming good pals with the late Nikki Grahame and fellow Welshman Glyn Wise, who finished runner-up behind Pete Bennett.

As soon as she was evicted she was commanding five-figure sums for racy lads’ mag shoots — and was named Wales’s Sexiest Woman.

Since then, she has been known for her sexy photo shoots over the years.

She was also seen at the swankiest showbiz parties and dated high-profile footballers, including a heavily publicised affair with married Wales and Man Utd star Ryan Giggs, who placed a gagging order on her.

Once news of the relationship broke, she publicly apologised for the affair.

At the time, she said: “I called it off a million times but he kept coming back.

“He knew it was wrong as well, he said as much, but he was pursuing me.”

Imogen now boasts a property empire worth £10million.

The mum-of-two insisted that fame “doesn’t last forever” and urged new reality stars to “take every opportunity” that comes their way.

“What you get offered take because beggars can’t be choosers at the end of the day,” Imogen said.

“When I was on the show, there were so many magazines that I could be modelling for and I was for like 10 years straight. I had so many contracts with them.”

She continued to the Metro: “Yes, you’ve got social media and I work on that now and I’m making thousands a post but brands are a little bit more cautious now and they don’t want to be paying the money anymore.

“So for me, I would just say take whatever you can get and make good of the situation because it does dry out.”

She also told The Sun: “I came off the show and I just started working from day one. It was amazing, I made a lot of money.

“It was just all a bit surreal because I went in as a hostess and came out just making all this money and being wanted by everyone.

“It was pretty crazy to get your head around. But I loved it.

“I was in there for three months, no contact with the outside world, then all of a sudden everyone knows you, and you’ve got to get used to the fame.”

Standing underneath a pink umbrella, Jack stood alongside Lock, showing off thick gold chains and rings posing with “finger guns” and a serious face.

James – who had brushed his hair forward in an attempt to emulate Jack’s distinctive bowl cut hairstyle – later uploaded the pic, and joked: “Essex final boss Vs Ibiza final boss 🧑🏽”

The pair’s day together comes after Jack shot to fame in the space of a month after being declared “Ibiza’s final boss” due to his deep tan, tattoos, veneers, goatee beard and signature hairstyle.

He was captured dancing by a TikToker who later gave him the moniker as they posted it online – with the clip quickly picking up steam.

Jack’s hair in particular has been compared to a range of pop-culture icons from Ringo Starr to Friar Tuck and a Lego man.

“Final boss” is a joke from the gaming world used to suggest someone is the ultimate version of a particular stereotype.

Since then, Jack has been lapping up the attention, and it looks like it’s set to make him some serious cash as a result.

His viral fame caught the eye of ITV2’s Big Brother casting team and led to conversations about him joining the upcoming series.

Yesterday, he announced a step into a music career by releasing a new dance track on Spotify as well.

With a potential Big Brother stint too, it’s clear Jack is set to get the last laugh – all the way to the bank.

A source said: “The Ibiza Final Boss has really captured the nation’s imagination and is exactly the kind of character that makes for a fun Big Brother housemate.

“Bosses had talks with his management, it is very late in the casting process for housemates but everyone thought worth a chat whether it be in time for this series, even as part of a task, or for the future.

“Jack’s reps Neon Management have been inundated with offers for him so he’s certainly going to be busy for at least the next few months.

“They’ve seen an unprecedented level of interest in him, and that’s the nation loves him.”
