Sophie announced she was pregnant with her first child just days after the Baftas in May this year.

During the ceremony, she wore a white and gold outfit which hid her pregnancy, taking to the stage to take home Best Scripted Comedy for her sitcom, Alma’s Not Normal.

Three days later, Sophie posted a photo of her grabbing lunch with partner, chef Carniel Francis Levy, as well as a picture of her baby scan.

She wrote in the caption: “Plot twist… WE’RE HAVING A BABY BOY!

“Coming November 2025. Our lives are about to change forever, in the most chaotic, joyful, and magical way…

“And yes, we’re already arguing about baby names.”

Since then, Sophie has been keeping fans updated with her pregnancy journey, even channeling her inner Demi Moore by posing nude for a selfie showing off the bump in August.

In the run-up to the birth in November, Sophie gave a hilariously frank look into life preparing for the baby’s arrival, including a video of her “foraging” in the kitchen for biscuits while in her pajamas.

“You’ve got to get your kicks where you can, and all I’ve got left are chocolate hob nobs!” she told fellow comedian Kate Lucas, who was filming her.

She also joked that her dishevelled hair was getting bigger the more hormonal she got.

Another photo showed off her bump as she clutched a smoothie and a which she captioned: “Here I am, embodying the natural radiance and beauty of pregnancy in the final days.”

She then drew an arrow to her boob and joked: “That’s actually my nipple”.
