A UK airport has been forced to close today as staff walk out with ALL flights suspended.
Norwich Airport is closed today following the strike action.
Flights cancelled today include three arrivals from Amsterdam and an arrival from Alicante.
As for departures, four flights to Amsterdam have been cancelled and one flight to Alicante has as well.
Airlines impacted by the strike action include Ryanair and KLM.
The strike was announced earlier this week, which has resulted in the flight suspension until the end of the day.

It comes as Prospect union announced the strike as part of an ongoing dispute over pay, terms and conditions.
In a statement on the airport’s website, it says: “Due to the 24-hour strike by Prospect union members in Air Traffic Control, Norwich Airport will be closed to air traffic on Friday 28 August and no flights will operate to or from the airport that day.
“Airlines have been informed. Passengers due to travel on Friday should check with their airline for the latest information about their flight and the options available to them.
“We apologise for the disruption and inconvenience this will cause to passengers.
“We remain firmly committed to resolving this dispute through constructive dialogue and will continue to engage with Prospect with the aim of reaching agreement.”
The airport operates to a number of destinations abroad, such as Spain and the Netherlands.
Yesterday, local travel agents told holidaymakers that they would need to travel 101 miles to catch their flights.
They would instead be departing from Southend Airport in Essex with passengers told to head to Norwich Airport, where they would then be taken on a coach to Southend.
