YOU might think celebrities are always off on lavish adventures to far-flung places, but sometimes they opt for a cheap stopover.
Katie Price, who is usually seen in the likes of Dubai or Ibiza, was spotted leaving the Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre after an evening at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards – and the rooms are really cheap.
Found in the heart of the city, the Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre is the perfect budget-friendly base for exploring the city.
Rates start from as little as £60 with rooms varying from standard and family rooms to suites.
Some of the rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows as well as 50-inch flat-screen LED televisions.
There’s also 24-hour room service for all guests.
In the mornings, laid out is a full buffet and cooked breakfast options. In the evening, guests can dine at the hotel’s RBG Bar & Grill.
The hotel has an outdoor terrace too with its own bar and plenty of room for drinks in the evening.
When it comes to facilities, this Radisson hotel has a fitness suite, heated pool, sauna, and steam room.
The Nu Spa offers a variety of treatments including facials, body treatments, and massages.
These facilities aren’t complimentary for all guests though as those with a standard booking will have to pay an extra £15 per room to use the pool, steam room, and sauna.
The gym remains free of charge for all bookings.
In the lobby is a self-serve refuelling station selling snacks and soft drinks throughout the day and evening.
For those who aren’t heading off to a glamorous event, the Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre is in an ideal location to explore Manchester.
The AO Arena, which will see Hilary Duff take to the stage next month, is actually opposite the hotel.
Co-op Live is a short tram ride away which will welcome the likes of A$AP Rocky, Andre Roux, Karan Aujla and Westlife are performing in September.
It’s also near the National Football Museum, Printworks and Manchester Victoria Station.
