Fans aren’t buying his explanation.

Netflix’s latest reality TV sensation follows 20 women competing for Harry Jowsey’s heart. You may recognise the famed bachelor from other hit programmes like Perfect Match and Too Hot to Handle, and this new series tracks his hunt for a wife.

After weeks of living with his “fiancées,” Harry finally narrowed it down to Dannelle Davidson and Amber Mozo. He ultimately tied the knot with Amber in the season finale, admitting that he loves her “confidence and how she thinks about the world“.

Despite exchanging vows in a sweet ceremony, viewers were quick to point out that the couple didn’t legally get married. This has only fuelled rumours that they split up before the show aired.

Australian star Harry has now set the record straight, revealing that their wedding involved real marriage certificates but they haven’t been submitted yet.

He told Entertainment Tonight: “When we filmed the show, there were certificates, but they weren’t submitted, because it would have ruined the show. They’re out there. I just don’t know where they are, when they’re getting submitted.”

Reality TV fans have been known to dig up marriage certificates for their favourite shows, including Love Is Blind, which sometimes spoils the outcome of the series.

While Harry claims the certificates have been kept private to prevent spoiler leaks, viewers are convinced this is further proof he is no longer with Amber.

Commenting under Entertainment Tonight’s interview clip, one fan said: “They not together anymore that’s why.”

Someone else shared the same opinion, adding: “They broke up! See y’all for season two same time next year.”

Yet another fan chimed in with: “You’d think they’d both share pics and videos together on their timeline now that we know who he chose and…nothing.”

Amber and Harry didn’t post loved-up snaps on their social media pages after their marriage was confirmed, which has naturally left fans suspicious.

But other viewers believe the reality stars are just trying to ramp up anticipation for the upcoming reunion episode.

“I just LOVE how all these ppl know the outcome already and how they THINK they know Harry personally. y’all c’mon they gotta make it suspenseful and keep u interested,” commented one.

Harry and Amber’s current relationship status will be revealed in Netflix’s forthcoming reunion special, streaming on Wednesday, August 26.
