LOOKING for a beach spot in the UK when it is hot and sunny can often just feel like a battle against crowds of people.
But one beach destination is so big, that even with people on the beach it never becomes crowded.
Harlech Beach in Snowdonia National Park in Wales stretches for four miles, with sand dunes, mountain views and even a castle.
The beach is known for being a scenic spot as well as one of the cleanest beaches in Snowdonia, according to Go North Wales.
Thanks to the size of the beach, it is the ideal spot for kids to run around and keen watersports enthusiasts can try out surfing at the beach.
If you happen to visit the beach during the warmer months, you might even be lucky enough to see leatherback turtles, as they migrate to the beach to feed on jellyfish, according to Sykes Cottages.

In fact, the largest leatherback turtle ever recorded in the world was found on the beach in 1988, weighing 916kg – it is now in the National Museum Cardiff.
Visitors often note how the beach is also free from crowds, with one recent visitor commenting that there is “plenty of space for all”.
Another person commented: “You can walk for miles and the views are sensational, I felt like we were abroad!”
Overlooking the beach, you can head to the 13th century Harlech Castle, which was used by Edward I and is now a World Heritage Site.
You can walk up to the castle too, if you fancy spending longer at the beach.
Tickets to see the castle cost £10.90 per adult, £7.90 per child or £34.90 for a family of up to five.
There is a car park about 400 metres from the beach, along a path, where you will also find a cafe and a shop.
Though, if you don’t drive, it is actually still easy to get to the beach.
Harlech Railway Station, which sits on the Cambrian Coast Line, is only a 10-minute walk away.
