What is the plot?

The American crime-drama miniseries is based on the 2023 novel by Harlan Coben which follows a father who was wrongfully sentenced to life in prison for his son’s death.

David Burroughs, who is played by Sam Worthington, was arrested and sentenced to life after the supposed murder. As he accepts his fate, his wife Cheryl (Erin Richards), leaves him and moves on with a new relationship.

But five years into his sentence, David receives a prison visit from Rachel Mills (Britt Lower), his former sister-in-law and a journalist, who shows him photo which can clear his name.

In the background of the picture taken at an amusement park, it clearly features a young boy with Matthew’s distinct facial birthmark.

As a result, David manages to orchestrate a daring prison break with the help of sympathetic inside allies to hunt down the truth, clear his name, and rescue his son Matthew.

Along the way, he uncovers a dangerous web of conspiracy, secrets and a cover-up. The series features a line-up of stars, which includes Sam Worthington, Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, and Erin Richards.

I Will Find You premiered on Netflix UK back in June this year and all episodes are currently available to watch.
