The outdoor headline shows will take place in August, beginning in Halifax at The Piece Hall on August 14, before heading to Cardiff Castle on the 15th and then concluding at London‘s Gunnersbury Park on August 16.

The London gig will be the band’s biggest ever UK show to date.

Jimmy Eat World will be joined by special guests Rise Against, The Get Up Kids and – at the London and Cardiff gigs – Jay Som.

Bleed American stands as a landmark album that helped push alternative rock into the mainstream, cementing Jimmy Eat World as pioneering artists of the 00s music scene.

The album featured single The Middle, which has surpassed 1 Billion streams on Spotify.

Lead singer Jimmy Adkins said: “When we printed the last mix of Bleed American, we felt like we had achieved something great for ourselves.

“There was no barometer of how it would connect with people outside of the studio and we are still in awe with the life the record and songs have had since their original release.

“Bleed American is as much yours as it is ours, so we want to celebrate it with you all in a very special way.”

The news comes just a few weeks after the band Something(s) Loud EP on November 14.

The release marked the vinyl debuts of formerly digital-only singles Something Loud, Place Your Debts, and a cover of Crooked Fingers’ Call to Love.

There is also an acoustic version of Something Loud and a TW Walsh remix of Place Your Debts.

The EP also features the never-before-released track, Failure, originally recorded in 2019 for the Surviving sessions

Fans will be pleased to know the band are also in the studio at the moment working on new music.

Artist presale begins on Tuesday December 2 at 10am GMT – fans can sign up at jimmyeatworld.com. Tickets go on general sale from Friday December 5 at 10am GMT.
