Former footballer, Wayne, 41 – who was papped at the airport today en route to Australia – will be without wife, Coleen, 40, and their four sons while in the jungle. However, he’s said to have formed a secret alliance with fellow campmate and Love Island pal, Chloe Burrows, 30, who he met when they played in the charity football match, Soccer Aid.
Revealing Wayne and Chloe had chatted about how they were feeling about going on the iconic ITV show, they added: “It’s nice that they already have that connection going in. They had a catch-up about how they were both feeling about the show, and it will be great to watch their friendship grow even more once they’re in camp.”
Chloe shot to fame on Love Island in 2021 and proved a huge hit with viewers, eventually finishing runner-up alongside her then-boyfriend Toby Aromolaran. I’m A Celeb producers have been reportedly been keen to sign her up for the iconic show, with the Chloe Vs The World presenter said to be enthusiastic about swapping her home comforts for life in camp.
Influencer, Chloe, posed for a selfie with Wayne at the charity football match in Stratford, which she captioned: “What an amazing experience.”
She is said to have held a number of meetings with bosses behind the ITV jungle show ahead of its return to Australia this month.
Wayne, meanwhile, is following in his wife’s Coleen’s footsteps after the WAG appeared on I’m A Celeb two years ago and is said to be eager to get stuck into the BushTucker Trials to impress his sons.
He is set to be joined Down Under by stars including, Chloe, Joanna Page, Ade Adepitan, Claire Sweeney, Ricky Wilson, AJ Odudu, Sharky, Leigh Francis, Mariella Frostrup, Leomie Anderson, and Jack Skipper. The show is expected to run for approximately three weeks, ending with a live final in early December.
