PETE Davidson’s girlfriend Elsie Hewitt has had quite an eventful start to motherhood.
Just one day after giving birth to their daughter, Scottie Rose, Elsie underwent emergency surgery.
The model, who has 1.1 million followers on Instagram, and is signed with Wilhemina, posted to her Instagram Stories.
“Who else had to get a wisdom tooth removed directly from hospital the day after they gave birth?” she asked her fans.
The next slide showed her swollen cheek on one side after presumably having had her wisdom tooth removed.
Wisdom teeth removal can be a painful procedure, and to have it done so soon after childbirth is no small feat.
Pete, known for his humor and heart, has likely been a source of support for Elsie during this hectic time.
The Saturday Night Live alum, 32, made comments on Instagram that Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson is his “perfect angel girl.”
In an Instagram feed post that Elsie posted, she stated: “Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025. Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson. My best work yet, I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief.”
The name Scottie is a nod to Pete’s father, Scott Davidson, a firefighter who famously died on September 11th.
Fans admired the couple’s ability to juggle the highs of welcoming a baby with the demands of recovery.
“This is the sweetest. Congratulations to you and your family, and welcome to the world, Scottie!” one fan wrote.
“Congratulations,” another commenter wrote. “We are so thrilled for you both! Welcome to the world Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson.”
“Most beautiful girls. I’ll protect for life!” fellow model Meredith Mickelson wrote. She continued, “And I’ll protect Pete, too.”
In previous weeks, Pete, who’s been romantically involved with other celebrities in the past like Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande, mentioned his fears over fatherhood.
In an interview with Al Roker in July 2025, he stated: “I’m just excited to take care of something. I don’t know much about fatherhood as it’s my first time.
The Pebble Bar co-founder also stated, “Be there for it, and get out of my own head. It’s not about me now.”
With Elsie focusing on her healing and the family now having to take care of little Scottie, it’s clear that they are embracing the messy yet beautiful journey of parenthood.
