The pirate-themed water attraction has a host of attractions, including 10 water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and a wave simulator.

For younger park-goers, there’s a baby pool shaped like a pirate shape that features a small water slide.

Older children will enjoy the lazy river, which winds under huge open-mouth sea creature structures.

There’s also a giant pirate ship with climbing frames, rope bridges, and slides, letting kids immerse themselves in a swashbuckling adventure.

Other water-based features include a jacuzzi, an aquagym and aquadance classes.

Live pirate shows also take place throughout the day with actors breaking out into sword fights and action taking place on a 50m-long zip line.

Other shows also take place at night, with more special effects being used.

Treasure hunts also take place at the waterpark as well as pirate meet and greets.

There’s also a pirate-themed mini golf course.

Park-goers who are hungry will be pleased to know there’s themed dining at the water park where pirate-themed dishes are served.

Huge new waterpark opens in winter sun hotspot with 14 slides and country’s first cable car

Pirates World shut for the winter season in September and should reopen to the public in May.

Sun Online Travel have found entry tickets to Pirates World from £23.22 per person.

The French water park has been praised by visitors with one holidaymaker describing it as “a great day out”.

Another person added: “Our five-year-old enjoyed the pirate ship rapids & swimming in the deep pool”.

Someone else wrote: “We spent the day in the waterpark today and had a great time”.

Pirates World is a seven minute drive from the centre of Adge.

The closest airport to Adge is Beziers where direct flights operate from the UK.

Ryanair operates direct flights from London Luton to Beziers, with prices starting from £14 for a one-way fare.

And here are three European water parks that are some of the world’s biggest with record-breaking slides and 32C lagoons.
