Luke out

Luke Littler has warned Luke Humphries he is gunning for his world No. 1 spot.

The two Lukes are the only players on the darts PDC Order of Merit who have earned more than £1million in prize money over the past 24 months.

Littler – who went bowling with his mates on his 18th birthday on January 21 – said: “Luke Humphries has a lot to defend.

“So, maybe I could get to world No.1 This year I’m not defending any prize money.

“We all know Luke has the capabilities to go and defend all that he won two years back.

“I’m hoping I can either stop him or other players do – so I can get to No.1.”

Baby blues

Stephen Bunting says he is not planning to have a third child if he retains his World Masters title.

The Bullet, 39, enjoyed his finest moment in 11 years on the PDC circuit when he lifted the Masters trophy in Milton Keynes 12 months ago.

Fans claimed he celebrated that victory with a night of passion because on November 6, 2024 – nine months later – his wife Keila gave birth to baby boy Theo.

Bunting laughed: “There’s definitely not going to be any more babies! This is the last one for sure.

“People put one and three together, didn’t they? And started making assumptions.

“I can assure you after the win in the Masters last year, Keila had already gone home. Is that my story? 100 per cent.”
