A TOP secret performer at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival has been leaked by fan-favourite rock band Kasabian.
The Fire hitmakers accidentally revealed the artist’s name on their Instagram before quickly scrubbing it from their page.
Sharing a line-up poster with their 388,000 followers, the image featured Brazil chart-topper Declan McKenna in the mix.
“They have leaked that Declan McKenna is going to be there,” one fan shared on Reddit.
Screenshotting the band’s post, another said, “It’s a welcome addition to an otherwise fairly underwhelming announcement imo
“Raye will be great headlining, but everyone else has basically headlined before, and the acts lower down the bill aren’t of much interest at this juncture*

“Still, Declan always brings a good sunny set.
“It just won’t win over anyone who hasn’t already checked out, and it won’t give much more to rave about for those who are into it already.”
A third wrote, “Assuming Declan McKenna was the surprise announcement then?
“They posted earlier then removed the post and it had Declan’s name on the poster.”
Summing up the line-up, a fourth said, “I’m buzzing to see fontaines!
“Also really happy about kneecap, chase & status, geese and skepta.
“Could have been alot worse imo. i’m glad the rumor of sabrina carpenter headlining wasn’t true haha,” they concluded.
The 2026 line-up was announced on Monday and included chart toppers such as Charli XCX, Raye and Dave.
The festival dropped the line-up on social media, saying it is the first time in 25 years that the festival was exclusively packed with local acts.
Other big names headlining the sister festivals include Fontaines DC, electronic duo Chase & Status and singer Florence + The Machine.
The line-up was rounded out by grime legend Skepta, former Little Mix singer Jade, and Northern Irish rap group, Kneecap.
Next year’s event will take place at Reading’s Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park in Leeds on the bank holiday weekend in August.
2025 headliners included rapper Travis Scott, Bring Me The Horizon, Hozier and singing superstar Chappell Roan.
