The boozy series first aired on the music channel in 2011 and has become a stalwart with fans of reality TV.
Charlotte, 32, was one of the original cast when the first series first made its debut on screens.
But in a new interview exclusively obtained by The Sun, she confirmed the series in its original form is well and truly over.
She told the Secure The Insecure podcast with Johnny Seifert: “Geordie Shore, the show where people are going live in the house isn’t being filmed this year. No.
“It stopped that one, it hasn’t been filmed for a long time.
“I don’t know whether It will ever film again if I’m honest I don’t it will, I think that show will be gone now.
This is what I’ve gauged with the situation is that you will never see a series of Geordie Shore where people go and live in that house for the whole duration ever again.”
The Sun previously reported that the long running reality show has been axed by MTV after 12 years.
According to reports, television bosses are pulling the MTV show amid plummeting ratings.
“Think of it as resting the format rather than cancelling it out right.
“The truth is it’s not been the same for quite a few years. Bosses think it’s the right time.
“The current stars of the show haven’t been told it is being rested yet.
However, the former Celebrity Big Brother winner did confirm that a new edition of the series with all the original cast is in the works.
Charlotte admitted: “Geordie Shore still exists as a brand, we’re filming the shore right now, this very second. Geordie Shore with all the originals.
“It’s all the people who made Geordie Shore what it was, like you couldn’t call Friends, but lose Monica, Rachel and Chandler and replace them, that’s not Friends anymore.
“Look at look at Jersey Shore Family Vacation still goes on this year. It’s amazing. I watch it constantly.
“Like they are my favourite, The Jersey Shore cast are my favourite, the core cast I love watching them”
Secure the Insecure podcast with Johnny Seifert is out on Monday 06th March.
