Dorian Yates is a 60-year-old ex-bodybuilder who has been in the fitness industry for 40+ years.
In one of his Instagram posts someone commented: “Did u ever hate the thought of getting smaller Dorian or didn’t it bother u too much?”
However, Dorian didn’t seem to mind losing some of his muscles saying: “It’s okay for your goals to change,” in the caption of the post.
“It’s actually important that they do,” he added.
In the post, Dorian posed with two jacked beach babes.
Dorian didn’t look too bad himself, still maintaining a six-pack.
“When my bodybuilding career ended, I continued to train fairly hard and heavy, but over the years I questioned what I really needed and what I could improve upon,” he said in the post.
“So I shifted more towards working on my mobility, cardio, breathing, mental, spiritual health and fitness.
“When training with weights nowadays, I use a moderate weight just to maintain muscle & strength.”

Urs Kalecinski, a bodybuilder who is only 24 years old, called Dorian an “inspiration.”
While Dorian is happy with taking it slow, 79-year-old fitness enthusiast Iris Davis broke a world record number of pull-ups by someone her age.
