Occasional Digest - a story for you

DEAR DEIDRE: HUMILIATED doesn’t even cover it.

Hearing about my antics at my new boyfriend’s family party was so embarrassing.

The next morning, I couldn’t remember a thing but knew something had gone wrong. My lovely boyfriend couldn’t talk to me, let alone look at me.

I’m 51 and he’s 53. I’m so worried that I’ve ruined what was shaping up to be a really great relationship.

Apparently I got so drunk I was talking over people, grabbing my boyfriend’s privates in front of his mum and told him off for flirting with his niece.

What’s worse is he said his ex used to embarrass him in a similar way and he can’t deal with that again.
