A MAN in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 22-year-old pedestrian was killed on an A road in Devon in the early hours.
Cops have launched a murder investigation into the shocking incident that was first reported as a serious collision.
Devon and Cornwall Police said they were contacted at around 4.45am on Wednesday regarding an initial report of an incident involving a pedestrian on the A379, Embankment Road at New Bridge in Kingsbridge.
The pedestrian was seriously injured and sadly died at the scene.
A man has been arrested and remains in custody, according to the cops.
