CELEBRITY Big Brother fans were left baffled tonight when Mickey Rourke made a discovery about the show after entering the house. 

The actor, 72, made it obvious he didn’t do his research before signing up for the show during a conversation with Chesney Hawkes.

As the two men chatted, Mickey revealed he assumed the cameras weren’t always watching them. 

He commented that singer Chesney, 53, could relax as Big Brother was “not filming them”. 

But Chesney dropped a bombshell on him when he said: “They’re filming 24/7.”

Viewers rushed to social media to comment, with one writing: “This man really doesn’t know what Big Brother is.”

Another said: “The fact that Mickey thinks… they stop filming?”

And a third added: “Mickey doesn’t have a clue what’s going on.”

After moving into the house last night Mickey revealed the surprising reason he decided to do CBB. 

He sat down with Trisha Goddard in the kitchen and she asked: “What made you do it?”

Mickey candidly replied: “It was a choice between this and a really s****y independent movie.

“And I’ve done too many s****y independent movies, let me just try something new.”

But he suffered huge backlash from fans who called for him to be axed from the show for his “creepy” behaviour towards host AJ Odudu. 

During the uncomfortable encounter, Mickey first praised AJ’s outfit before pulling her towards him.

As he looked her up and down, AJ, 37, was forced to tell him to stop before her co-host Will Best pushed him away from her.
