CRISTIANO RONALDO is reportedly pushing for Al-Nassr to sign former teammate Casemiro from Manchester United.
Casemiro has been linked with a switch to the Saudi Pro League this month after struggling at Man Utd over the last two seasons.
The Brazilian, 32, has been heavily criticised in recent months after struggling to maintain the level that he has shown in the past.
And now rumours have begun swirling about a January move to the Middle East.
According to The Telegraph, Al-Nassr is currently the most likely destination for the midfielder.
A move to the Riyadh-based club would see him reunite with former Real Madrid and Man Utd teammate Ronaldo, who is said to be keen on the deal himself.
Other reports have even suggested that Ronaldo is pushing to make the deal happen.
Those rumours have led Man Utd fans online to believe that their former superstar “still loves the club”, given that an exit for Casemiro would free up a whopping £350,000 per week off the Old Trafford wage bill.
Casemiro is still under contract with the Red Devils until 2026.
Ronaldo‘s future with Al-Nassr isn’t certain either.

The Portuguese powerhouse is now in the final six months of his £175m-per-year contract with Al-Nassr and is debating what his next step will be.
Al-Nassr are keen to keep their crown jewel, but reports have also suggested that Ronaldo, 39, could make a move to the USA to line up against Lionel Messi in the MLS.
However, Ronaldo has made it pretty clear that he is satisfied with his life in Saudi Arabia at the moment.
Speaking recently, he said: “I’m happy and my family is happy. We started a new life in this beautiful country.
“Life is good, football is good. In terms of individual and collective, we are still there; we are still improving.”
Since making his move to Saudi in 2023, Ronaldo has scored 74 goals and registered 18 assists in 83 games.
