A WOMAN, 19, has suffered “life-changing injuries” after being hit by an unmarked police car.
The vehicle was attending an emergency when it collided with the pedestrian in South Gloucestershire on Sunday at around 6.30pm.
The young woman was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries, Avon and Somerset Police said.
The force added that the incident took place on a roundabout, while the police car had its blue lights and sirens on.
The officers present provided first-aid to the woman, before paramedics arrived.
No police were injured during the incident.
