Nov. 16 (UPI) — Rudy Giuliani has turned over watches and a Mercedes Benz convertible to a pair of former Fulton County , Ga., election workers whom he defamed following the 2020 election, a court filing shows.

The former New York City mayor and campaign attorney for President-elect Donald Trump delivered the Mercedes and a collection of watches to Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman “as requested,” according to a letter filed by Giuliani’s attorney on Friday and obtained by WSB-TV in Atlanta.

U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman last month ordered Giuliani to turn over his property, including the1980 Mercedes-Benz formerly owned by actress Lauren Bacall, watches and other high-value luxury items, to a receivership established by the two women. He owes them $148 million after losing a defamation case over false accusations they stuffed ballot boxes during the 2020 general election.

The judge has also Giuliani to turn over a luxury apartment on Madison Avenue in New York City and $2 million in legal fees owed to him by Trump and the Republican National Committee.

Giuliani’s new attorney, Joseph Cammarata, wrote in the letter that his client is continuing to dispute “overly aggressive” efforts by Moss and Freeman seize some other items he claims are “exempt,” including lower-value jewelry a New York Yankees jersey worn by Joe DiMaggio.

Cammarata on Friday also asked Liman to push back the Jan. 16 start date of an upcoming trial over the disposition of some of Giuliani’s assets so that he can attend Trump’s inauguration.

Giuliani has shown little remorse over defaming the women, telling reporters last week he is a victim of a “political vendetta” and that he expects to win the return of all of his possessions upon appeal.
