As the third season opens, Pearl’s (Kerry Godliman) restaurant – The Whitstable Pearl – is thriving, but she’s still being side-tracked by helping DCI Mike McGuire (Howard Charles) with all manner of fiendish cases.
Meanwhile, matters are set to get complicated in their personal lives, with cracks starting to show in Pearl and Tom’s (Robert Webb) relationship. Could Pearl and Mike finally find a way to admit their feelings for each other?

Jules Verne’s classic 19th-century science-fiction novel is given the 21st-century, CGI-laden television treatment.
