NORDIC countries are well known for their super cold winters.
One skincare fan from Finland shared their tips to keeping their complexion hydrated.
The Redditor explained how they prepare their regimen for winter weather.
They use a versatile beauty product — Argan oil, among others.
“I’m in northern Finland so hydration in preparation for the coming cold is the top priority in my life right now haha,” they said.
“I’ve just put in a huge order of hydrating sheet masks and sleeping packs.
“I’ll add more layers of my Hada Labo Gokujyun as the temperature drops and I’ve started to mix a few drops of Argan oil into my nightly moisturizer.”
Hada Labo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion is $11.57 on Amazon.
“I’ve been eyeing the Cosrx hyaluronic acid intensive cream as well and might incorporate that into my routine in the winter if I need it,” they said.
Cosrx Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Cream is $16.50 on Amazon.
HOW IT’S DONE
The Redditor added how they use the products for optimal results.
“I use Cosrx snail essence at night and will also start to use it in the day soon,” they said.
Cosrx Snail Mucin 96% Power Repairing Essence is $14.99 on Amazon.
“I will also switch my Cosrx oil-free for Joseon Beauty Cream at night [and] still use the Cosrx in the morning.”
Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream Hydrating Face Moisturizer is $32.89 on Amazon.
“And my Hada Labo Gokujun is ready to go for extra layers as needed.”
They gave their thoughts on the Beauty of Joseon product.
“I haven’t used it much because I got it in the summer.
“It’s actually not that heavy, people with dry skin might find it light actually,” they said.
“But my skin is oily in the center and normal around the outside so it’s a little too rich for me at the moment.
“I can still use it, it just feels sticky. But I like it a lot, has a nice texture and absorbs well.”
They didn’t specify an exact Argan oil, but Pura D’or Organic Moroccan Argan Oil is sold for $12.99 on Amazon.
