Neto on bench for Molineux return
Enzo Maresca makes two changes to the Chelsea side that he sent out for their Premier League opener against Manchester City seven days ago.
The Blues boss brings in Ukrainian Mykhailo Mudryk and Wolverhampton aficionado Noni Madueke to his team.
The wingers replace Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku, and will likely mean a shift that sees captain Enzo Fernandez drop back into a midfield pivot alongside Moises Caicedo, and Cole Palmer playing in the ten instead of out wide.
Palmer is fit to play after limping away from Thursday’s Europa Conference League play-off with Servette which means former Wolves star Pedro Neto is only on the bench for his return to Molineux.
And joining the Portuguese ace among the substitutes is Joao Felix, just days after sealing his return to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea (4-2-3-1): 1 Sanchez; 27 Gusto, 29 Fofana, 6 Colwill, 3 Cucurella’ 25 Caicedo, 8 Fernandez; 11 Madueke, 20 Palmer, 10 Mudryk; 15 Jackson
Subs: 23 Jorgensen, 4 Tosin, 5 Badiashile, 7 Neto, 14 Felix, 18 Nkuku, 22 Dewsbury-Hall, 38 Guiu, 40 Veiga
