SAVVY shoppers have rushed to get their hands on the latest flavour of Terry’s chocolate before the exclusive item disappears completely from shelves.

Terry’s is beloved by Brits and well-known for its iconic chocolate orange but it seems the brand have brought out another classic flavour before the run-up to Christmas.

The new offering seems to be part of multiple flavours that have gone on sale including exploding candy, chocolate orange dark and chocolate orange milk.

Minis Mint Crisp appears to be the latest release, already wowing customers who have spotted the new option on shelves.

Some have even taken to social media to ensure others know to keep an eye-out when browsing their local supermarket.

One posted a photo on Facebook showing the packaging which portrays a candy cane, sleigh and even a Terry’s mini crisp skiing – all to a festive backdrop of Christmas Trees and snow.

The user said: “New Terrys Chocolate Mint Minis Mint Crisp!! These are perfect, very strong in mint flavour and the crispy pieces add a nice texture to them.

Stocking up on these for sure! We got these from B&M stores.”

The post has gathered 574 comments, 1.3k likes and 265 shares with people quickly responding to the revelation.

One person said: “Ooooh I need to try these.”

Another replied: “Need.”

Whilst the new festival flavour looks to tempt buyers, it seems there are multiple options for those on the hunt to get hold of a bag for themselves.

B&M stores are selling the packs for £1.35 each.

Whilst Sainsbury’s also posted the flavour on sale for £1.25 their website currently states that they are out of stock.

Those hoping to get the mint crispy pieces should try phoning up their local branches before visiting to avoid disappointment and check stock levels.

With their festive packaging and offering to tantalise your taste buds the release seems to be perfect for gifting, stocking fillers or even a self-treat.

WE all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.

Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed on flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for supermarket’s own brand bars.

Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.

Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
