CLARE Craig is the sports mogul wife of Team GB golfer Tommy Fleetwood.
But how did Clare and Tommy cross paths and do they have children together?
Who is Clare Craig?
Clare Craig was born in Manchester, England.
She is the wife of professional golfer Tommy Fleetwood and like her husband, shares an interest in sports.
Craig’s name first surfaced when she became the vice-president of Hambric Europe, an organisation which represents professional golfers – and that led her into crossing Fleetwood’s path.
In 2015, Craig became Fleetwood’s manager and has since guided the sports star to success.
The couple have a 23-year age gap, but they don’t feel that this is an issue.
Fleetwood has credited Craig for saving his career following his previous fall out of the world’s top 180.
Craig was also a trustee of the Richard Burns Foundation, which was set up in memory of a rally driver who died from a brain tumour.
When did the couple get married and how many children do they have?
In 2017, the couple tied the knot in the Bahamas in front of 40 guests.
Speaking of their relationship, Fleetwood previously told the Telegraph: “It works very well. I do as I’m told when needed to.
“When we started, we obviously never knew how it was going to go, and I think we were always open to the idea if it didn’t work then we’d try something else, but luckily for us, we get on so well.”
The pair share one child together – a son named Franklin who they welcomed in September 2017, just months before their wedding.
The golfer withdrew from the British Masters in order to be at home with his wife after Franklin’s birth.
Clare also has two sons from a previous marriage.
When is Tommy Fleetwood competing in Paris 2024 Olympics?
Tommy is representing Team GB in the Olympics and will play in the final on August 4, 2024.
He will be facing off against the second highest paid athlete in the world, Jon Rahm, and Xander Schauffele.
Although Tommy is slightly behind the other two men when it comes to points, he has legions of fans are cheering him on.
