IT came out in 1987, but its popularity is showing no sign of waning.
And now fans of cult movie classic Dirty Dancing are hitting Primark for a new nostalgic range, with prices starting at £10.
A video of the offerings was shared on the Primark New In TikTok page, with people admitting they were desperate to get their hands on it.
The clip began by showing a £10 T-shirt, which featured the famous scene where Patrick Swayze lifts up Jennifer Grey in a lake.
It then panned down to show a £16 grey sweater, with images of the final ‘Nobody puts Baby in the corner’ dance scene on the front.
“Enjoying classic features like a crew neck and cuffed long sleeves, it’s perfect for bringing nostalgia and comfort to your off-duty wardrobe,” Primark said of the jumper on its website.

“Showcasing various moments from the iconic final dance, the layered front graphic is topped with the pink Dirty Dancing logo for an extra special touch — we can’t take our (hungry) eyes off it!”
They suggested pairing the jumper with some “flared leggings for a dance rehearsal-ready look or wide leg jeans for an effortless daytime ensemble”.
It comes in sizes from XXS to XL, and is available to buy via Primark’s Click & Collect service.
And people were quick to comment on the TikTok video, with one writing: “Wow so much better than Disney!”
“Need need need,” another added.
“Need this my favourite film,” a third commented.
“This is a need! But haven’t seen it in my local Primark,” someone else said.
“Oh my gosh!!!” another raved.
“Getting this T-shirt, love Patrick Swayze!” someone else sighed.
“Heading in now – my favourite movie,” another said.
“I’ll buy it just because Patrick Swayze is on it,” someone else laughed.
“I NEED that jumper!” another wrote.
Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?
JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it’s down to four points.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

While someone else raved “OMG!”
Dirty Dancing starred the late Patrick Swayze as bad boy dance teacher Johnny Castle, and Jennifer Grey as the innocent Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman, who fell in love over a summer at the Kellerman’s Resort.
It was made for just $4.5 million (£3.5 million), but ended up raking in $214 million (£167 million) at the worldwide box office.
