The Hollywood owners have transformed a club that have seen themselves go from the National League into League One in the space of two seasons.

And their success can be credited to recruiting stars Paul Mullin, Elliot Lee and James McClean.

But more signings are expected to be made in the next recruitment window as the Reynolds and McElhenney pump more money into the club, that’s according to ex-Wrexham keeper Foster.

He told his Fozcast podcast: “I think they’re going to invest again in another four or five, maybe half a dozen players.

“Good players, solid people, solid professionals that are going to raise the standard just a little bit more.

“But I think that what they’ve got in that team anyway is League One level.

“If you can add a little bit more quality, a bit more experience, I think they’re going to be there or thereabouts next season.

“And to go back-to-back-to-back, I don’t know if it’s been done before, but it’d be phenomenal.”

The former England international sees no reason why the Red Dragons should not aim high next season.

He added: “No, they won’t be thinking that. I guarantee you the owners and the manager and all the coaching staff and most of the players will not be thinking about solidifying.

“They won’t be thinking about consolidating in that league for a year or two.

“They will be thinking we want to be knocking on the doors of the play-offs.

“A charge for the play-offs was the aim this year, make sure you’re in the top six in the ending stages of the season and they found themselves in the top three.

“And comfortably in the top three. It’s been an incredible season, a fantastic achievement and I hope they can do it again.”
