Order of play at The Crucible
These are the matches we can look forward to today:
1pm –
Kyren Wilson 10-6 Joe O’Connor
Ronnie O’Sullivan 10-6 Ryan Day
7pm –
Mark Allen 9-7 John Higgins
Jack Lisowski 7-9 Stuart Bingham
No margin for error
Both Ryan Day and Joe O’Connor will go into their next sessions knowing they cannot afford to make anymore simple mistakes.
While being four frames behind it is still possible to turn their matches around, their opponents only need three frames for victory.
No doubt the pair will be hitting the practice tables and looking to find the form that saw them win their first round fixtures.
Jekyll and Hyde performance at Crucible
There is no doubting the abilities of Ronnie O’Sullivan.
Throughout the session, there is no inbetween with ‘The Rocket’, he is either missing easy opportunities or firing absolute worldies that only he would pot.
This is part of the reason he gets annoyed with his own game at times, setting such a high bar for what he expects from himself.
