The leader of the Reform has defended his party’s vetting procedures after a string of its candidates were dropped.

Richard Tice told Radio 4 Today’s Mishal Husain that Reform was “fastest party” to deal with inappropriate candidates and they were open to “public scrutiny”.

He said he led a “small, entrepreneurial fast-growing party” and would not take lessons from other parties.
