The best part was that she didn’t even need to go to a store to find her stylish steals.
Instead, Jordin (@jordinnlane) only needed some frugal finds from Facebook Marketplace to totally transform her once barren balcony.
Saying her outdoor space went from drab to fab was an understatement.
Her “two-day” makeover involved hosing down two wooden bed frames she had found on the site and then arranging them into the shape of a chaise lounge.
And she wasn’t done with her cost-cutting project just yet.
Next, she added some grey cushions and decorative pillows, plus string lights all around.
Jordin had even placed a two-seater table at the other end of the space.
Some plants also gave a posh feel to the outdoor area.
She was certainly “proud of herself” for the way things were stylishly shaping up.
And her fans were just as impressed.
“The little bed is genius. Definitely stealing this idea,” said one follower.
“Girl, I took it from someone else so you go, girl! Check Facebook Marketplace, you may be able to find free ones,” she replied.
Others might had reservations about their own outdoor spaces – but she had even more advice to dispense.
“The way the water bugs set up in Georgia – I’m scared,” said one viewer.
“Use Ortho,” she replied.
“So nice – what do you do when it rains? Do the curtains get dirty, do you tuck them in or remove them?” asked one watcher.
“Thank you! So I purchased a tarp for when it rains – even though everything is for the outdoors – and I draw the curtains to one side,” Jordin explained.
Many others couldn’t help but daydream about her DIY decor.
“The way I would be snoring out there,” said one follower.
It seemed that great minds did indeed think alike.
“I was out here knocked out last night. I was watching a show on the projector and fell right asleep with my heated blanket lol,” said Jordin.
