But one woman almost broke the rule after asking which outfit she should wear for an upcoming wedding.
In a thread on Reddit, one excited wedding guest shared the four outfits she wanted to pick from, but there was one that people were adamant she shouldn’t wear.
She wrote: “What dress should I wear?
“Formal/Black-Tie” wedding in Toronto. Art deco venue, but invite and wedding website are quite casual.”
The first dress option was a glitzy pink floor-length gown which certainly fit the art deco theme.
The second pick was a floor-length patchwork floral dress in red and black.
Next she sported a peach dress with gold embellishment and a mermaid style skirt.
It looks like a camel toe and it fits badly.

Last but not least was a baby pink satin jumpsuit and while it looked fancy at first glance, there was a key detail making everyone say she shouldn’t wear it.
It seemed that the hem around the trousers was ruched in a way that focused all attention on her groin area – leading many to say it gave her a ‘camel toe.’
A camel toe is a slang word used to describe the visual effect created when a woman’s trousers cling too tightly to the crotch, emphasising the shape of the pudenda.
It seemed most people were in agreement that the final outfit was an absolute no-go for the wedding guest.
But many people offered a solution to which dress she should wear for the big day.
One person wrote: “Under no circumstances should you wear 4, it fits terribly.”
Another commented: “With love and I’m sorry – please reconsider the presence of this jumpsuit in your wardrobe. It’s giving camel toe – even if it just looks like it, it’s really unflattering in many ways. You look so beautiful in the 3rd one! Have a wonderful time!”
“Not number 4. It looks like a camel toe and it fits badly,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Number 3 for sure!”
Someone else added: “I vote the third dress. The last one looks like it will wrinkle like crazy.”
