After an incredible 40-year career, Jayne Torvill, 66, and Christopher Dean, 65, have announced they will be hanging up their skates for good.

This caused intense speculation from fans that the pair might also retire from judging Dancing On Ice.

In a recent TV appearance on The One Show, the duo broke their silence as they made their position on the future very clear.

Roman Kemp asked the duo: “I got a little bit worried about this.

“There’s some speculation, it’s the Dancing On Ice semi-final this weekend. Please tell me you are returning for the next series?!”
