Guardiola eventually decided he had seen enough in the 69th minute and replaced him Mateo Kovacic.
This was not a decision De Bruyne agreed with, and he made his feelings known as he argued with his boss on the touchline.
The Spaniard was not the only one in his firing line either, with De Bruyne then seen picking a fight with the coaches of the Man City bench.
