Occasional Digest - a story for you

WITH more and more people getting tweakments, it can often feel like you need to go under the knife just to look good.

One beauty blogger, however, claims to have found a serum that is ‘botox in a bottle’ and it costs less than a tenner.

Whilst we all would like to find the fountain of youth, Sarah Palmyra seems to have found the next best thing.

As a skincare influencer, she regularly goes viral for testing the best beauty finds but even she was shocked at how well this product worked – especially given the its price tag.

“For the price point it’s a no brainer…it gets thumbs up from me” she gushed, after reviewing The Ordinary’s Argireline Solution.

Dubbed ‘Botox in a bottle’ by beauty gurus, this serum contains peptides (amino acids) that target the appearance of crow’s feet, fine lines and aging.

Keen to put the viral product to the test, the content creator used it for the next four weeks and was staggered by the results.

Like many women, she had been concerned about the frown lines and fine wrinkles that had begun to appear on her forehead.

Anxiously pointing to her eleven lines in a before clip, she told fans: “I’m concerned about this line right here.”

The influencer added: “I make this expression when I’m concentrating but for reference, this is how easy it is to make this expression.”

Having tested The Ordinary product for a month, Sarah revealed that her face had been transformed and that she struggled to frown in the same way as before.

“I mean I am blown away by the results here I’m actually trying really hard to make this expression and you can tell it’s less intense now,” she said excitedly.

Though you might think this is too good to be true, there is actually some scientific data to back her results up.

According to the content creator, a 2017 study found that combining Argireline with Matrixyl serum dramatically reduces fine lines – as it had done with Sarah.

I tried face yoga exercises to fight ageing, and here’s what I found…

If you weren’t already sold, both of these products are available at the Ordinary Company and the viral Argireline solution costs just £9.20 on their website.

Whilst skincare can cost a small fortune, you can also pick up the beauty brand’s Matrixyl solution for £10.40.

Considering Sarah’s results and the cost of  products, it’s not surprising that many of her followers were also racing to yhr checkout to get these.

“Not me buying this before it’s sold out LOL,” wrote one fan, with another impressed user saying: “Incredible!! Buying immediately!”

If you are tempted to try this hack, the beauty influencer claimed that she used the two serums twice a day and ‘really noticed a difference’.

However, she did warn her follower that results could vary and wrote in the comments: “I definitely feel like it might be hit or miss for some, I find that if I even skip a day the results are less intense.

For less than £20 though, we are more than willing to try this.
