Residents say they were attacked and their cars were vandalised by the rowdy partygoers in the seaside town of Worthing.

Cops scrambled to the home and dispersed the crowds – bellowing instructions over megaphones while ambulances scouted out the injured.

Locals flocked to social media to condemn the revellers’ thuggish behaviour.

One user posted on Facebook: “Just drove through and had the side of my car kicked.”

A second weighed in : “I had mine punched.”

Hours after the party was cleared, an 18-year-old man was assaulted and taken to hospital.

Police are working to identify the perpetrator of the attack.

“Police were called to reports of a group of around 100 to 200 people causing anti-social behaviour following a party at an address in Poulters Lane, Worthing at 8.30pm on Friday,” a spokesman for Sussex Police said.

“Officers were quickly on scene and a Section 34 Dispersal Order was authorised, giving officers and designated police staff the power to disperse individuals behaving in an anti-social manner.

“The party was dispersed, and the area was cleared.

“Following the incident, police received a report of an 18-year-old man who was assaulted at around 10.30pm in South Street, Tarring.

“As a result of his injuries, he was taken to hospital and enquiries are ongoing to identify the suspect.

“Witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to contact Sussex Police online or call 101 quoting serial 1474 of 23/02.”

Elsewhere, shocking footage captured the moment a bouncer knocked a partygoer to the ground with one punch after he was reportedly thrown out of a nightclub.

Shocking video shows the violent clash outside what’s believed to be Onyx Nightclub in Sheffield City Centre.

The clip shows a seemingly drunk man in a grey t-shirt walking up to a security worker in a high-vis vest.

The bouncer puts one hand on the man’s chest before landing a powerful punch in his face.

The man immediately falls backwards to the ground and appears to be knocked out as several other members of security watch on.
