And to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, there is a big treat in store for lovers of baked goods.

Greggs and Uber Eats have teamed up for the first time to serve up the ‘Bake Tray’.

The foodie firms have trumpeted it as the “ultimate pastry alternative to cliched chocolate boxes, last-minute roses, and cheap jewellery”.

The sharing box features six staples from the bakery giant, including a steak bake, sausage roll, sausage, bean and cheese melt, vegan steak bake, vegan sausage roll, and a chicken bake.

It has been advertised for two people, with the savoury treats renamed for the romantic occasion.

The steak bake has been called the ‘Steak Temptation’, sausage roll is ‘The OG Sensation’, chicken bake is the ‘Creamy Chicken Softy’, sausage, bean and cheese melt is the ‘Sausage, Bean and Cheese Dream’, vegan steak bake is the ‘Vegan Steak Velvet’, and the vegan sausage roll has been dubbed the ‘Vegan Sausage Delight’. 

The Bake Tray goods are packed in a scarlet red box. 

It is priced at just £10 and will be available for one day only on February 14.

But there’s a catch, as a special selection is only available in one Scottish location. 

They will go on sale at 11am and will be only available for delivery to Uber Eats customers in Glasgow.

They can be ordered from Greggs bakeries at Great Western Retail Park in Drumchapel and on Cathcart Road in Mount Florida.

Our limited-edition Bake Tray offers a selection of our iconic bakes in a limited-edition presentation box, meaning all the hard work is done for you, including it being lovingly delivered to your door.”
