She explained that she used her channel as a “safe space to normalize normal things” and stayed true to her word.
Valera sat sobbing on her toilet seat as she relived what had happened on her wedding day.
“When your period ALWAYS without fail comes at the WORST time when you actually have plans, are on a vaca, in the middle of a date, the day you’re getting married, during the holidays,” she said.

She screamed as she vented, putting her frustration on full display.
Valera clarified that she was not being dramatic and that her biological functions had ruined large milestones for her.
“I bled through my wedding dress,” she said.
Women sympathized with her in the comments and some even took her story as a lesson.
“I am going to specifically plan my wedding so I don’t get my period, the white dress is too much of a risk,” said one commenter.
“The last three times I’ve been to Bali I got my period,” said one viewer.
“I had my first one when we were supposed to go to the lake. Still angry about that, life,” said another.
